The world's most compact and narrow booster is called the COMPACT AND NARROW BOOSTER SEAT. Mifold is smaller than a traditional booster and just as safe for kids aged 4 and up. The foldable booster is ideal for travel, it fits into a child's backpack, glove box or parent's handbag, making it perfect for ride sharing and much more. Mifold ensures optimal seatbelt fit. The grab-and-go car seat adjusts the adult seatbelt by pulling it down, instead of lifting the child up. Instructions for washing the fabric with soap and water. There was no bleach. To remove soap, wipe it with clean water. Air is dry. This product is only for use in the USA and is not the International version. This travel car seat has won many awards, including a Mom's Choice and Parents' Picks Awards. It is a great choice for older kids, grandparents or for fitting three children in a row. The dimensions for the open mifold are large. When it is closed and folded, the dimensions are 2x10"x5". The dimensions for the open mifold are large. 👤We really want to like this. For our 8 and 6 year olds, we got two of these for a vacation where the longest driving was 3 hours in the car. The plastic clip on the belt didn't bother them in the back or in their shoulders, they just had the belt in their neck. We couldn't get it comfortable for the kids. The seat was slippery so it kept folding. The seats should stay in place. The seats hurt my kids' bottoms. It wouldn't have taken much more to make it better. I was hoping for a good product or something. My kids don't like it, but it will do for the quick trips or an emergency extra seat.
👤I bought this one and the inflatable one, but was not sure which one would be better. We are going to keep the inflatable one because this one might work for quick trips. My 5 year old is the one who made this decision. He likes the inflatable one because it doesn't hurt his bottom. When he first sat on this one, he was not comfortable.
👤Being a Child Passenger Safety Technician Instructor for 30 years, I was very interested to see this product, as I love to see new innovations in the field of child passenger safety. The quality of the Mifold was good and the claims were impressive, but I don't think it stopped there. I tried different kids on the Mifold. The belt fit was ok, but not up on the abdominal area. I had to take the kids out of the seat because they had moved forward on it to fold their legs over the edge. When a child has no "BOOST", they don't behave like a crash test dummy, and when they do, they slide forward on the seat to get comfortable. A child sliding forward leaves a gap behind them that loosens the seatbelt, in order to be able to fold their legs over the vehicle seat. An actual booster seat should be designed to prevent this. Booster seats are designed to raise the child's head height to prevent them from sliding on the seat in the car. The Mifold only addresses belt positioning. I am not happy with the product and will return it.
👤We chose to support the project early on. We recommended these to our neighbors shortly after we got ours, and within a short time they had fixed the biggest annoyance I have ever encountered. The slide outs are not locked. Without fail, these slide back in and you have the worst time removing the lap belt. What happened next? The child would be put in the car and the person would just go over the lap belt. It's not designed for that. I told them that I was worried about the quality of ours. They said that it met all safety standards, that's how they were designed. Your customer service is terrible. You don't take into account what people will be doing to get away from the annoyance your first models created. Instead of helping these first supports get upgraded models, you back up your first models and tell everyone how you made the changes. I'm not going to upgrade. I'm not buying from them again. I'll stick with the booster seats that my child likes the most, and which are rated higher than the ones he'll use, because I know he'll use them as designed. Thanks for nothing! You lost a customer.
The weight minimum for a booster car seat has been increased from 30 to 40 pounds to make it safer to transport a big kid. The booster is secured to the vehicle seat with a one-hand front-adjustlatch system. A secure connection keeps the booster seat stable. Do not bleach. A multi-layer headrest for your child. Even as your child grows, you will have full coverage. Energy-Absorbing foam is used for impact management. Your child is secured on all of your journeys.
👤My daughter has been using this seat for at least 2 years. We were in an accident. The impact was on the side of the car. Her head and body were stable thanks to this seat. I have to replace her last seat since the crash was not minor, so I will purchase this seat again.
👤I have bought four of these seats. I was involved in a car accident in which I slammed into two other cars. My four year old was restrained in a booster seat. The car seat did what it was designed to do and my child walked away with no injuries. The seat gets two thumbs up from my family.
👤The carseat is easy to install, but it doesn't last very long because of the latches and the fact that my child is buckled in. This is only used as our secondary carseat, and the back part doesn't stay put. It immediately falls back down when we adjust it upward. At this point, it's a safety hazard. We have tried contacting Graco customer service, but their service is very slow. It took three weeks for an initial response after we tried e-mailing. We called in the meantime. They initially wanted our receipt after sending us an e-mail with a claim number. We immediately sent it back. They took two weeks to respond. We e-mailed back within the day after they requested a video of the defect. We have not received a reply for three weeks. Avoid this product and save yourself money. We have two other Graco carseats that we love, but this booster seat is not one of them.
👤It works in my Honda Odyssey's captain chair. The addition of the latch is an awesome addition, it eliminates the sliding on my leather seats and the need to Buckle it when not in use. The belt guide allows the belt to glide through without getting stuck and I returned the booster I bought because I found another one that did the same thing. My 6 year old loves the red color and says it is comfy. The features this seat has are worth the price. It is great for a seat under $50 and adjusts up to 20 inches. It should last any child.
👤My extra tall 5 year old daughter feels comfortable in this carseat, it is easy to install, and it is easier to use on my Nissan Altima with the latch system. I used a 3 in 1 that was really good, secure, and well padded, but too bulky for a sedan, and I had to upgrade from a Safety 1st grow and go. She has a Safety 1st Alpha Elite 65 as her second carseat and it matches my car color and looks really good. The arm rest should be adjusted. It's ok for the price. I hope I don't have to buy another carseat as it will convert to a booster seat.
👤There were no issues with the installation of the ford f 150. I ordered a nice seat for my car. The plastic cup under the booster seat is still used by many people who didn't read the set up directions. Come on. It's one of the steps in getting the seat set up.
It helps to safely transport a big kid from 4 to 10 years old. The minimum weight has been increased from 30 to 40 lbs. For years of use, the 2-in-1 seat easily converts from a highback booster to a backless one. Energy-Absorbing foam is used for impact management. Keep your child content on the road with padded, height-adjustable armrests and hide-away cup holders. The belt guides help position the seat belt. Your child is secured on all of your journeys with a multi-layer headrest. The seat is crash tested to meet or exceed US standards. Check your local and state laws for car seat usage. A combination of the most rigorous crash tests that helps to protect your child in frontal, side, rear and rollover crashes; additional testing based on the New Car Assessment Program and for extreme car interior temperatures is what the Protect Plus engineered is. 👤I just bought a second pair of these carseats. I bought some after someone backed into my car with my old ones. I purchased these for my daughter and son because of the research I did. They hit a COW on the interstate and spun off into a power pole while visiting my in laws in LA. My son hit his arm on the car door, but he and my daughter are both fine. The police, emts and fire fighters all said that my father was uninjured in the situation and these carseats. The officers/fire fighters inspected them before my sister in law picked them up and said they seemed to be undamaged, although they recommended replacing them. You couldn't pay me to put my kids in different booster seats.
👤After reading reviews, I didn't want to buy it. I'm happy that I didn't get persuaded. I realized that some people are not perfect. Reviewers can be wrong. I was impressed with the quality, which is not high end. It's good for the money. It was easy to assemble. Didn't need the instructions at all. My 3yr old was excited when I unboxed it. I have never seen her excited for a carseat. I helped her carry it half way to the car. It was perfect in the backseat. It doesn't have a hook, but it's pretty secure without one. It looked like it came with the car. The interior was matched perfectly. I bought it from the Amazon warehouse. Yep, kid you not. It was mint. It's a brand new thing. I was skeptical at first, but I took a chance and am happy that I did. I would like to thank the guys for reading my review. Be safe.
👤This is a great product. My daughter is now five years old and we purchased it when she was four. She is short and only weighs 36 lbs. There is no way to anchor it, that's the one thing I don't like about it. The seat belt is simply run across. There is no shoulder strap in the back of my dad's Crown Vic. It's easy to put it in any car I want because you can grab it and go. The cup holders are not good for water bottles. They fall out when turning. It's hard to get the seat belt on because we have to put it on the edge of the seat, but that could be our car. A great product is made by Graco.
👤This is a great boost. I have had it for 2.5 years and it is still strong. The weight limit on the LATCH anchor and the booster seat's connections to the LATCH are important things to remember when using five point harness boosters. A five point harness is not as safe as a seat that has strong connections is, because the weakest link in the chain is the seat. The heavier the kid, the stronger the forces will be, which will cause the anchor and anchor connectors to be damaged. It is easy to be fooled by false advertising because it requires some engineering knowledge and common sense. I own a popular five-point booster for my small child. It was advertised as a five-point harness booster for kids up to 100 pounds. I was horrified to discover that it was only rated to be 48 pounds for use with LATCH. I thought my five year old was safer in his sister's seat than he was in his booster, but I was wrong. He might have stayed securely attached to the seat in a crash if he had not been over the weight limit. The seat is not enough to protect your child. The seat needs to be attached to the car. You know your kids. If they are cautious in the car and aware of safety, and don't unbuckle themselves or fiddle with the belts, or otherwise do anything to mess with the belt positioning, this is a great seat for kids within the age, height and weight limits. It is sturdy and doesn't show wear. The covers are dirty. The cupholders are easy to clean. Even after your child grows too tall for the back, it will last and last. The backless booster is done. They are more or less held against the car by a correctly positioned seatbelt in a crash. If you have a child who won't stay in their seat, or unbuckles the seatbelt, then please attach a seat with a five point harness to the car using the seatbelt and not the LATCH.
The child chest harness is easy to use and can prevent the belt from falling down or moving around. The middle lock design may prevent your child from accidentally unbuckle it. Universal design allows for a maximum 1.5 inch width harness strap, which is perfect for baby strollers, seats, high chairs, backpacks and so on. The chest clip is easy to use and clips on the strap in a few seconds. Press the quick button in the middle with one hand and it will release it. It is made of high quality material and is harmless. This chest clip is a nice gift. This chest clip is a nice gift.
👤The chest clip is too wide on our stroller. My son's ribcage is too wide to fit through the straps on his shoulders and he can't get his arms out. The two buttons on the clip would make it easy for some children to figure out how to remove it. I installed it out of his sight so he wouldn't know how to remove it. He doesn't like how it feels against his chest, but it may be a sensory thing. I'll be looking to replace it soon.
👤My child still unbuckles her seatbelt despite the long strap. The strap must be at least 6 inches long. To keep the seatbelt tight, I had to LOOP this strap around the seatbelt, which was uncomfortable and probably a safety hazard. The "childproof" on this thing is impossible to get.
👤I put this on my granddaughter's seat. Within minutes she opened it. The sides have two clips that allow children to open it. It is hard to make smaller because it is too wide for the average child. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
👤I was skeptical when I bought it, but it has been a lifesaver for us. My two-year-old refused to stay buckled in her car seat and tried to open her door after slipping out of her car seat straps while we were driving down the expressway. I freaked out because my fiancée was in the car. She's not been able to get out of the safety belt and it's saved her from a lot of stress in the car.
👤It was much wider than what was described. I tried using on a toddler. It did nothing to hold them in. Had to come back and get the version from Amazon, which actually fits.
👤The product is easy to clip on, but it's too wide for my infant's carseat straps. This may be better for toddlers who don't have the chest harness.
👤Our escape artist just takes it off for children younger than three.
👤This should come standard with ap bike children seat.
👤I got this for my daughter's stroller as she sometimes finds a way to take her arms out of her harness. I didn't see that it's quite wide and that it isn't adjusted. I thought it would work for my 18 year old, because it's described as a baby chest clip. It is too wide. It's not worth coming back for the price.
👤When I washed the straps, I found it worked better than the one car seats that come with them. And it can be adjusted.
👤It works for the bob strollers that don't have a chest strap. I just bought this because I wanted to build something.
👤It would be difficult to use if you have dexterity issues, which is great for the grand kids to have.

👤These types of products are not allowed in car seats. Call the manufacturer of your car seat. Certified child passenger safety technician.
👤This product is a lie. FMVSS 213 doesn't cover after market products. It is a lie to say that it passes safety standards. The warranty on your car seat will be voided if you use this product. Every single car seat manufacturer forbids the use of after market products on their seats.
👤Great idea, but fails on design. The design fails because of images. Not enough velcro coverage, ineffective snaps, and guided slots fail with little applied pressure from a child's head.
👤We were very impressed with the quality of work that was put into each item when we received our Nap Up car seat head supports. The head support is lightly padded to add comfort, the fabric felt soft and flexible, and the strap across the front provided plenty of strength to hold a sleeping child's head. The front strap can be adjusted to fit your child's sleeping position. The NapUp has a design that is much safer than similar products because the front strap is secured with Velcro. For the first time in our lives, our kids handled a long drive like a champ during our vacation. We spent most of our time on the road at night to make it easier on the boys. They were able to sleep soundly with the NapUp Car Seat Head Supports. I also write reviews for several magazines and own a family travel website. I don't write reviews for products I buy, but I am happy to do so because I loved our NapUp Car Seat Head Support so much.
👤It works well. Getting the kids to leave the strap on and not rip it off while awake was the only hard part. When they pass out, you lower the strap to keep their melons upright. When our daughter turns 3, we will buy one more set for our two toddler boys. The price is the only reason for 4 stars. It's pretty steep for a cheap product.
👤It's a nice alternative to the neck pillows. My boys will toss them off a lot. I like that this support is already in place so that I don't have to do anything when they doze off. I've dealt with headbands that wrap around the seat, but they can fly or just reach back while at a stop light. One of the car seats that we have won't stay in place, that's my complaint. Hopefully this feedback will help develop this product further. Adding horizontal straps to the vertical ones might be a good idea. Is there a way to hold it in place?
👤It's worth every penny, even though I was skeptical about spending 40.00 on this product. We traveled for 10 hours on our vacation last month. This was a blessing. His head and neck were supported. His head is supported by the strap. His naps are usually 30 minutes in the vehicle and 2 hours in the bed. He was a happy camper and I was a happy mom. I don't have to worry about his neck or head if he falls asleep while I am driving because it's still attached to the car seat. Thank you Nap up!
The booster supports 22-110 pounds and is forward-facing. The seat belt booster mode recommends a child's height to be 44-57 inches. The harness has 50 pounds. Limit is to hold the child's body in the car seat. Child's harness can be adjusted with a central front access to the harness adjuster. The shoulder belt guide can be used to position the vehicle belt. The dual cup holders keep drinks and snacks within reach for the driver. The dual cup holders keep drinks and snacks within reach for the driver.
👤It's a very good, lightweight seat. My Britax is too heavy to haul around so I bought it for travel. I couldn't get it to tighten on tethers or on the seatbelt. The seat was moving by more than 1 inch. I was lucky because there was a car seat clinic at my destination. The trained people showed me what to do, and it was not obvious. I had the tether carabineer upside down and the tether strap should be tightened in the back of the vehicle. I ended up using it on the 3 because pulling it straight back through the main opening didn't work on many vehicles. The manual explains in the end how to adjust the shoulder straps. You have to fix the straps again after you tighten things. I would have returned it if it wasn't for that clinic. They need to make installation videos and link them after the purchase.
👤The car seat is very easy to install. We bought it because we wanted something that was easy to take through an airport since the airlines forget to put our car seats on the plane. It does not live up to the specifications of my boys. The five-point harness mode says it should hold a tall child. My 4 year old is an average size (40 lbs) and he struggles to put the harness on even with the straps already pulled all the way out. My son is sitting on top of the most forward-facing position, and the crotch strap needs to be positioned in the front. The seat is made for a slim girl rather than a boy. It's too bad because it would be a best seller if it had better construction and more crotch strap positions.
👤I bought a vehicle for my son. I should have gone with a different seat as the 5 point harness only weighs 50 pounds. There are many seats on the market that can reach 65 pounds with a 5 point harness. My son is 44 pounds and he is under 5 years old. Children should be in 5 point harnesses as long as possible, so choose another seat.
👤Our 4 year old twins are no longer rear-facing. They are easy to use. The fit of my car gave the kids more leg room than the convertible seats we were using. The crotch buckle gets lost under the kids' bottoms and I have two complaints about them. My daughter is climbing in and out of the car seat and one of the cup holders pops off.
👤This car seat has been with us for 18 months and we couldn't be happier. When our son was young, we purchased it. We wanted something lightweight we could travel with and that had a 5-point harness as he is skinny and safety experts now recommend kids stay in 5-point until they are 50 lbs. This converts to use a seatbelt as he grows, and we liked that. We were nervous after reading the reviews, but we decided we could return it if it was really bad. We have installed it many times and had no problems. It is great.
The Cosco Finale DX 2 in 1 Combination Booster Car Seat has a 5 point safety harness that converts to a belt positioning booster seat as your child grows, and it has an IIHS Best Bet rating for use in booster mode. The car seat can be used for children from 30 to 65 pounds forward facing with a harness and as a belt positioning booster for toddlers and older kids. The lightweight seat is easy to move from car to car, and 3 of the seats are designed to fit side by side across the back seat of most vehicles. A dishwasher safe cup holder on the side of the car seat allows your child to easily reach for their drink or snack. Use a damp cloth to remove dirt, mud and other debris. Throw the booster car seat pad into the washing machine and dryer for easy cleaning. The booster car seat has a one year limited warranty. For more than 70 years, Cosco has been a leading children's products brand recognized for its dedication to safety and value. Refer the User Manual for guidance. Refer the User Manual for guidance.
👤I hurt my back and hands in the accident, but my son didn't complain. He was checked out by the doctor and didn't have any injuries. I bought the same one to replace the one I used.
👤If you want to use this seat for everyday use, I would recommend you to keep looking. I have used a lot of car seats and this one has pros and cons, but I don't like them all. The fabric had a tear after 2 weeks of use. After 2 weeks! That is crazy. The seat seems to be made of plastic. I don't feel like I'm protecting my kids. The size is lightweight and slim. It is easy to fit into most situations where a car seat is needed. My kids loved having someone to store their stuff. The straps were easy to install. I've had seats where you need to catch your breath, drink some water and wipe your sweat after installing it in the car. If you are going to use this as a secondary seat for travel or for a grand parent, aunt, or uncle's car, go for it. If you want this to be your child's everyday seat, go for something with a little more quality. It is the only safety measure that could possibly save your child's life.
👤The carseat is light and works well on Southwest Airlines seats. The arm has to be up, but it barely touches the armrest limit. I put it in my carry on and used a travel belt to get it through the airport. It was easy to detach to get through security. After it was detached from the plane, I held it over my head to walk down the isle. It was super light here. I am 5'1. The seat fit over my head and there was room to spare. I was able to use the seatbelt to Buckle, and used a folded cloth over the Buckle to keep it from pressing too much into my toddler's back. He didn't complain. This is not an issue in the plane with their lap belts. There are no issues with the seatbelts in the rental cars. It was comfortable enough for him to sleep in. When we went back to his normal seat, he never complained about the extend2fit seat we use. It's great for travel.
👤We've purchased a lot of seats, but this one felt like it was flimsier. After two weeks of use, a plastic piece near the harness tighten strap broke as I was securing my child in the seat. I liked the idea of a harness that could grow as he got bigger. I will be buying another brand to replace it. I fear how this might hold up in the event of a crash if pieces break just from tightening the belt.
👤I have to leave a review for this product because I am so happy with the results. I have a 2010 corolla and was pretty sure we would need another big vehicle to allow 3 carseats. I researched so much that I found great reviews for the price and they fit. It is snug. I could secure each seat tightly and safely. I don't know if I'll have a baby in the middle or side, but both arrangements fit. The car is not our go-to family car, so we don't envision long trips with the kids in these seats, but we now have peace of mind knowing if the parent who has the car that day needs to go to store / drop off at daycare / etc with all 3 So relieved! You can use the 5 point harness until 65 lbs. When our 5 year old gets to that point, we will assess what to do. It would be very difficult to buck in. The 5 point harness was needed.
The pink dog safety vest harness is made of double mesh fabric with a flannelette edge and attached to four PP material straps. The seat belt is elastic and can be adjusted for the car. Measure the neck and chest of your pet before buying. The dog vest harness would relieve the pressure. It fits perfectly if you need to plug into your car seatbelt in a different way. The seat belt can be put in the trunk or the car. The pink pet car harness wraps around the dog's body and neck, which could be a collar. The straps are tightened so dogs can't jump into the front seat, but they don't pull against them. The harness is easy to put on and no need for dogs to step in. The buttons on the harness strap can be adjusted to make your dog friends feel more comfortable, which is suitable for small, medium dogs or even kitten cats. The pink dog vest harness can be used as a travel harness in the car to prevent dogs from jumping out the window. A regular harness can be used with the retractable dog leash. They want to provide the best shopping experiences and high quality products.
👤We bought the dog harness and seat belt restraint before we left for our first trip with our two dogs. We love them! They are very cute on the dogs and easy to put on. The seat belt restrains the dogs. It's very easy to get the dogs out of the car. There is a cute paw on the front. It is reasonably priced. I highly recommend!
👤The small size was perfect. It is great quality.
👤I moved from California to Tennessee because I had concerns about the safety of my dogs in case of an accident. It was a relief to know my dogs were secured in the back of my car. The seat belt attachment was easy to use. There was a lot of room for my dog. She was restrained inside the car when she stopped and opened the door so she wouldn't jump out and get lost. This safety harness is approved for that reason. There's more to worry about. Traveling with a lost pet can be devastating. Dogs get nervous and don't behave normally. When we stopped, I could easily exit my vehicle and open the doors to attach a leash. Attach a leash first before connecting the seat belt attachment.
👤I had to order a bigger size than usual, but it was perfect. It is so quick to put on because you don't have to put the dogs legs through it. The dog, who normally whines using harnesses in the car, was happy as a dog. The ring on the harness is located in the back and we bought a piece of equipment to clip it to. If you slam on the brakes, you won't be able to hit the dog. The struggle to get our guy in the harness is over and we are happy about it.
👤This harness is better than any we have ever had. I like the way it comes up higher on my dogs chest, but not so high that it affects their throats. The harnesses can be adjusted in a variety of places.
👤Before we picked up our 11 pound 8 week old golden retriever, we purchased a size xxs and it fit him perfectly with the straps adjusted to it's smallest size. There is a lot of room as he grows, but the straps need to be adjusted a bit. I don't like the harness going over his head. Even if it is magenta, it is very sturdy and looks great on him. I love the double hooks, but the neck straps need to be adjusted to get it over his head, which can be a problem if I take him out often for potty training. The car belt in the back seat of my car does not click into the passenger seat for some reason.
👤My puppy chewed through the shoulder strap when he was bored on a car ride. This would be a great product if the shoulder straps were made of a more durable material. I still use the strap that connects to the seat belt buckle despite having to replace the harness. Buckles on either side of the harness make it easy to get this on a puppy. The chest piece is comfortable for the dog to wear. He was never able to get out of it. The seat belt strap has some stretch to it, which was good when he tried to bail out of the back seat while still buckled in. It's a good idea to have the dog in a harness and buckled in. Highly recommended. The design of the harness made it possible for my dog to get the shoulder strap in his mouth. He was able to eat it quickly. It needs to be made of a more durable material.
Stage 1 has a weight of 22-50 lbs, stage 2 has a weight of 40-100 lbs, and stage 3 has a weight of over 50 lbs. The seat pad, body insert, and harness covers can be washed. The recommended weight for the product is between 22 and 100 pounds. Convenient cup holders for drinks and snacks. Side impact protection is provided by multiple-position head support. Small children can fit in the seat with the comfortable body insert. One-hand front harness adjustment.
👤The damage you see is a result of the accident I was involved in. My youngest son was in the seat and he is alive today because it did a perfect job, he received some minor injuries from the straps, but he walked away from the accident. This seat can save someone.
👤These are not very expensive to make. They may meet crash standards, but setting them up is not easy. I have two kids, 5 and 7, so I am a professional car seat Setter-upper, and these took me the longest to get configured out of any I've ever used. We got 2 of them and I might send one back. We had to buy a good car seat before we bought these. They were expensive, but lasted us 6 years, and were easy to move in and out of the vehicle, so now I know what you get when you skimp and what you get when you pay for a car seat. I have to tell parents what they are getting with this seat because of the harsh review. Save money and get a booster seat if you only want the booster portion.
👤The car seat is what's expected in a toddler car seat. There were a few things that I didn't like. 1. The anchor points are the same as the manual clip sort. The last one had a button that you could press to release the anchor, instead of having to dig your hand down the seat to unhook the latch. 2. I thought the seat beltlatch adjusted out. I might have to buy another one because it is already snug at the crotch point. This could be the reason for the next point. 3. The button is hard to push. I have had to keep my nails short because of the trouble I have with it, and I have to get my son out. I didn't go through a return for the price I paid. My son was too big for his old seat and I couldn't have waited any longer for another seat.
👤There isn't enough room in the crotch for boys. The fastening of the lower belt does not extend far enough for my three year old son.
👤The seat is amazing. The clip at the crotch is something I don't like about it. The padded thing around the clip makes it hard to secure the buckle. It was very painful on our toddler's scrotum. We had to pull the car over because he was screaming and pointing at his scrotum. My husband cut that padded piece off and it's much better now. Our little guy is in the seat and it is great. There is a lot of protection for his head. It was easy to take apart and wash it after he threw it up. If you have a son, you will probably need to cut off the foam padding at the crotch.
👤The bottom piece is connected to the top piece. After shoving as hard as I could, I brought the back rest up and there was no sign that it was connected. I had my husband do the next one just to be sure, but he felt more sturdy than the first one, so we detached it. It seemed like it was more sturdy after he connected it back up. That was the main reason for me to take one, even if I'm just a weakling. It didn't feel right when I pushed with all my might. There are lots of moms who may be putting this thing together on their own. It shouldn't take such force to put it together. The back rest part felt a bit loose and jiggly in relation to the bottom, though it appears they'll both work well once installed. This is the first time we've used a booster slash car seat, and I'm a little protective. They are technically two seats in one and my over protectiveness plus the wobbliness makes them feel that way. I took a half star for the pain in my neck, and a half star for not meeting my expectation in the overall feel of how safe I wanted it to be, once I knew it was secured down as tight as it could. I try and be detailed in my reviews because a lot of the time for me, reviews are a big factor in my ultimate decision about whether or not to buy something. I can't just give a 5 star review because it takes the value of the 5 stars that I give... My overall experience is that this is a good car seat that will last a little while, keep my little ones safe, and we didn't have to spend a lot of money on them like some of the others I saw out there. Not a lot of fluff, but a lot of fluff.

👤I bought this to keep myself in the driver's seat of my Miata when I am out driving. I know it's not advertised, but it works well. It helps relieve back pain by keeping me more upright and back in the seat. The upper portion of the belt still works as designed, and the belt is not changed. The device that was designed for this purpose, the CG-Lock, has been out of production for several years now, and it costs nearly 80 dollars on eBay. This is a great value for two dollars.
👤I bought these to secure the two car seats I have in my jeep Cherokee, because my back seat belts don't lock. They are supposed to keep the car seat in place so that it doesn't move. Although I'm a reviewer here, I purchased this item at full retail price as a personal purchase and am reviewing it because I want to. I don't have a personal connection with the seller and I have not been asked to write a review. My opinions and experiences are reflections of my experience with the product. I hope my review helps you make better decisions.
👤What I was looking for was perfect. You need something to keep the belt off your neck when you're short and in the car. This is it. If you like it, you can take it off for the next rider. If you put it on the right, it won't slide up and down your seat belt.
👤These were bought to shorten the lap belts. I bought a few of them. One arrived bent, but I was able to use a vice without any damage to the device. The instructions on the back are useless. My first thought was to say that it doesn't do anything. I was able to shorten the device by looping the lap belt into it. It doesn't slip when pulled on the strap. It's difficult to re-adjust the amount of the shortness. It appears to be safe and effective. If you put an extra belt in a loop and then put the other side in, it won't budge. Points off for the poor instructions.
👤Car seat installations are not a joke. My kid's seat was installed in the middle back row of our car, and I had to overcome a lot of emotion. I was happy to find that the shoulder/lap belt had a good tight grip after being unable to get the latches to secure well enough. The seat was being pushed over to a tilt position by the locked shoulder portion of the belt. Thanks to "The Car Seat Lady", this locking clip was the perfect solution. It converts a shoulder/ lap belt into a lap belt, freeing the shoulder part to be unlocked, which no longer causes the tilt. If you're lucky, you'll be able to have a local expert inspect your install. I had to do a lot of research and send pictures and videos to a car seat safety web board because I don't have one near me. You still need to know how to install it. It's a good thing.
There are three modes of use: rear facing infant, rear facing toddler, and forward facing toddler. The built-in bubble level indicator helps find the correct angle, and the rear-facing recline flip foot allows for great installation angles with ease. The Trooper can fit 3 ACROSS in most vehicles, it's 16.75" wide. The lightweight shell allows for the use of a latch. The crotch position buckle is used for seat adjustment. 👤If a boy, I would recommend avoiding the red car seat. It looks pink.
👤It was bought for a baby. I would recommend buying it, but I would also recommend replacing the crotch buckle. They are hitting into my baby's legs. On short trips under 30 minutes, the baby doesn't mind, but on longer trips, the baby's legs start to get red marks, and the baby is not happy. This carseat was purchased as a second seat and an infant carseat. The baby doesn't like either seat but the crotch connectors in the infant seat don't cut into the baby's legs causing red marks. I will say that this seat reclines nicely. You will need to move your front seat in order for the seat to be at the proper angle. Nobody can sit in the front of the car. The included infant insert is very supportive and very nice. I would recommend this seat, but I would look into replacing the crotch strap connectors.
👤The instructions to adjust the seat are useless. Do you want to change the thingamajig? We don't tell you where the thingamajig lever is, so just push it. Is it necessary to extend the whatsis? How to shorten it. Lengthening is a top secret. It's just useless. Try online videos that are helpful. A small amount. It is not expensive. That's good. If you can figure out how to make it fit your child, it might work. All car seats are complicated. What happened to the bar?
👤When our son outgrew his infant seat, we purchased this. The seat in front of us in the CRV has to be almost all the way forward when rear facing. Our f350 has shoulder belts on all the rear seats, but this seat did not work in it. The shoulder belts were not tight enough to keep the seat from sliding. We have purchased a second seat and this is a backup.
👤The car seat we bought is much lighter. It is much smaller. It is well suited for any car and can hold others in the backseat. It is difficult to tighten the harness straps. The straps get caught under the car seat when it is not moving. The straps are hard to move on and the strap coverings make it hard to tighten the harness. The covers are difficult to move because of the Velcro on the straps. It will take time to get used to the seat. I hope it gets easier to tighten the harness. If we can get a proper install in our second car, we will continue to use this seat.
👤We needed a seat that was 3 across and this seat is great. It can be difficult to get a tight install and the harness is difficult to tighten without using a lot of force. The force pulls the seat bottom up in a way that seems wrong. My kids are 3 years old and between 30 and 36 pounds, so it is easy to read the shoulder height.
