1. Mifold Portable Carpooling Comfortable Adventure

Mifold Portable Carpooling Comfortable Adventure

The world's most compact and narrow booster is called the COMPACT AND NARROW BOOSTER SEAT. This car seat is designed for kids aged 4 and up, 40-100 lbs., and 40 to 59 inches tall, and is just as safe. It's a convenient seat for travel. The comfort booster fits into a child's backpack, glove box, or parent's handbag, making it perfect for ride sharing and much more. The new version includes an extra padded seat, an updated shell design, anti-slip pads and an easy to fit shoulder guide. Mifold ensures optimal seat belt fit. Instead of lifting the child up, the grab-and-go car seat adjusts the adult seat belt by pulling it down to fit the child safely and securely. The kids booster seat is regulated for use in every country except Australia and Taiwan because it has been tested and proven to be safe. 👤When my youngest child graduated from a convertible to a booster seat, I had to do a bit of car seat shuffling in my van and find a smaller profile booster for her so that she could use the narrow seat in my Honda Odyssey. I was able to sit three children across the second row of my minivan. The game gave me the chance to try out a variety of booster seats, both full size and compact travel size, to see what fit best for my daughter. We found that having a Mi-Fold seat on hand for our second and third cars as well as for travel would be good to have on hand, but we settled on a Graco RightGuide seat belt trainer. This is the review of the new Mi-Fold Comfort and the comparison of it to the older Mi-Fold Sport Luxury booster. I've never used the original Mi-Fold booster because I've read so many negative reviews about how it wouldn't be comfortable and wouldn't fold while the child was using it. I ordered a Mi-fold One non folding booster and sent it back because the cushion on the seat wasn't good and it wouldn't stay in place on the leather seats when my child sat on it. When we initially ordered several different boosters, the Mi-Fold Sport was one of the seats that we felt was worth keeping. It has good quality, it has good rubber gripping on it to keep it in place, and it has plenty of cushion. The shoulder strap is the only complaint I have about the seat. It is difficult to adjust the length because of the thick strap. The seat belt clip is difficult to open. I like that the Sport comes with a carrying case so we can store the seat when not in use. The Mi-Fold Comfort is very similar to the Sport version. The height and weight range for the seat is different. The comfort is for children between 33 and 100 lbs. 40 to 57 inches tall is what the Sport is for. The seats are the same in dimensions. It's not clear what makes the Comfort suitable for a smaller child. The Comfort has six small triangles on the bottom to help keep the seat from slipping under your child. While the seat stays in place, I think the Sport has a better non-slip bottom since it is a larger area. The material on the seat is similar to a jersey. I don't like the texture of the seat fabric. The faux leather material on the Sport model is better for me. The strap guide on the Comfort is better than the one on the Sport. The material is easy to adjust. The shoulder belt clip is easy to use. You can feed the belt into the guide and be good to go. This design will make it easier to use this seat in a car. The instructions for how to fit this booster to a child are printed on the seat's webbing. The manual booklet contains the instructions for the sport model. It is difficult to put the manual in the pocket without messing it up because the pocket is tight on the Comfort model. The manual can be put into the storage pocket on the Sport model. The Sport has an aluminum bottom on one half and is heavier than the Comfort because it has a plastic bottom. My nine year old found it comfortable. We got the Sport model seat and she didn't like it. My son thinks the seat on the Sport is better than the one on the Comfort, but he doesn't think it's bad. The price difference between the Comfort and the Sport models is the same. The Sport can be three dollars more. I prefer the Sport to the Comfort because of the nicer materials. If you have a child who is 40 inches or 40 lbs, the sport might be better. If you have a smaller child or want the lightest of the two for travel, the Comfort is a good choice. I like that the Comfort can be used by a four year old who is less than the height and weight requirements of the Sport model. The Sport model that I purchased from Amazon two months ago was made over two years ago, so it was brand new when I received it. The Comfort was just released in 2020 and has a manufacturing date from 2020 so you would have more of a usable life from it than the Sport. If you have a lot of kids and want to get as long as you can out of the seat, you should keep in mind this.

👤This thing is a tank, it is the heaviest car seat/booster/harness I have ever seen, and I have four installed in my car at the moment. If you have a compact car and more than two kids in a car seat, this is not a great option. We absolutely love this unit. The Britax one is not the only one that the older kids fight over who can sit on. Installation. Their new clicking system works well and is easy to install. You put your shoulder-lap regular seat belts through the button in the bottom area of the backrest, and then pull it tight, as seen in the pics, to get the bottom section up. This is where it shines, we have our 7 year old and our 4 year old in the third row, which is difficult to get to without moving the second row. The unit is so easy to operate that we thought our 7 year old would be able to help his sister get buckled up, he is able to get her all hooked up by himself, and all we have to do is make sure it is secure. Features: The unit is very comfortable for the little ones, especially on long trips, because it is covered in memory foam. We haven't yet used the booster feature because our little girl is too small, but it seems like it's a very simple conversation to reprogram the seat belts. Over all: We feel that this unit will do a great job of keeping our kids comfortable and safe, and it has not disappointed, we have three child car seats from this brand. If you have any questions or would like to see more pictures, please let me know by clicking on theHelpful button below and I will do my best to answer your questions. Thank you for cheering. There is a person named Cass.

👤The Britax brand carseats are the best. They are very safe, comfortable, and beautiful seats. I was rear ended while out with my son two days before he was 2 years old. The vehicle was totaled in the accident. I usually allow my youngest to sit in the Britax seat because it is so safe and easy to adjust heights. I'm glad I did that day. When we were hit, my neck and head slammed so hard that I knew it was broken. I was afraid for my son. I knew he was scared but I was not. He was snug in Britax 5pt harnass. I was very sick and injured that week. My 2 year period never had any complaints of sore muscles. His neck was fine. I was thankful for this. I knew I would stick with Britax when I replaced the seats. I am very pleased with the upgraded version, it is the same safety as the older version, and seems more plush. My boys are happy with their new seats. The two cup holders are great for drinks and toys. I paid full price for all of our seats so that nobody was wondering, I didn't receive anything to write this. This is a color that I love. They fit perfectly in my car.

3. Evenflo Maestro Harness Booster Granite

Evenflo Maestro Harness Booster Granite

The booster supports 22-110 pounds and is forward-facing. The seat belt booster mode recommends a child's height to be 44-57 inches. The harness has 50 pounds. Limit is to hold the child's body in the car seat. Child's harness can be adjusted with a central front access to the harness adjuster. The shoulder belt guide can be used to position the vehicle belt. The dual cup holders keep drinks and snacks within reach for the driver. 👤It's a very good, lightweight seat. My Britax is too heavy to haul around so I bought it for travel. I couldn't get it to tighten on tethers or on the seatbelt. The seat was moving by more than 1 inch. I was lucky because there was a car seat clinic at my destination. The trained people showed me what to do, and it was not obvious. I had the tether carabineer upside down and the tether strap should be tightened in the back of the vehicle. I ended up using it on the 3 because pulling it straight back through the main opening didn't work on many vehicles. The manual explains in the end how to adjust the shoulder straps. You have to fix the straps again after you tighten things. I would have returned it if it wasn't for that clinic. They need to make installation videos and link them after the purchase.

👤The car seat is very easy to install. We bought it because we wanted something that was easy to take through an airport since the airlines forget to put our car seats on the plane. It does not live up to the specifications of my boys. The five-point harness mode says it should hold a tall child. My 4 year old is an average size (40 lbs) and he struggles to put the harness on even with the straps already pulled all the way out. My son is sitting on top of the most forward-facing position, and the crotch strap needs to be positioned in the front. The seat is made for a slim girl rather than a boy. It's too bad because it would be a best seller if it had better construction and more crotch strap positions.

👤I bought a vehicle for my son. I should have gone with a different seat as the 5 point harness only weighs 50 pounds. There are many seats on the market that can reach 65 pounds with a 5 point harness. My son is 44 pounds and he is under 5 years old. Children should be in 5 point harnesses as long as possible, so choose another seat.

👤Our 4 year old twins are no longer rear-facing. They are easy to use. The fit of my car gave the kids more leg room than the convertible seats we were using. The crotch buckle gets lost under the kids' bottoms and I have two complaints about them. My daughter is climbing in and out of the car seat and one of the cup holders pops off.

👤This car seat has been with us for 18 months and we couldn't be happier. When our son was young, we purchased it. We wanted something lightweight we could travel with and that had a 5-point harness as he is skinny and safety experts now recommend kids stay in 5-point until they are 50 lbs. This converts to use a seatbelt as he grows, and we liked that. We were nervous after reading the reviews, but we decided we could return it if it was really bad. We have installed it many times and had no problems. It is great.

4. Evenflo EveryStage All One Seat

Installation to the lower anchor in your vehicle is an easy alternative to belt installation. A safe and secure ride for 10 years of use is provided by the Infant + Convertible + Booster. A child grows to 120 lbs. The seat is tested in high back booster mode up to 120 lbs. Rear Facing Longer. It allows your toddler to stay rear-facing longer, beyond 2 years, without the need to extend the seat or other passengers. Child angles to help minimize head slump and keep airway open for a custom fit. Child angles to help minimize head slump and keep airway open for a custom fit.

👤I sent the car seat back because I thought it would grow with my grand daughter. After my husband asked several women at his work, one of them recommended this one. We thought I would do better with this one because it was easier to install. I like this one. I have an all gray one and they sent me the wrong color.

👤My daughter is happy with her new carseat. She outgrew her newborn seat and as soon as we switched to this one she was more comfortable and she loves her cup holders. The notes for the correct positioning are very legible and easy to understand. It is easy to clean. On a day she was sick, I had to clean the entire car seat because of the accident. I just sprayed and scrubbed the rest of the fabric after removing it from the wash. It wasn't bad to put it back together. I would recommend this seat.

👤The item description says dlx, which is incorrect. I received the lx model and all the other models as well. I returned the item because I couldn't install it correctly. I was not able to tighten the seat. Hated it. I couldn't find a video on the internet for the lx model. The user manual was not clear. I had a lot of questions.

👤No me gusto la forma, parece un producto de segunda mano. He comprado sillas de coche antes. The plasticas tienen rayones, desgastes, and isntrucciones. The producto llego was general. No llegue igual, estoy en proceso de cambio. Tengo buscar una oficina deUPS, para poder recognizando la nueva, esto desvirtua totalmente.

👤Leans back enough to be comfortable, but thought it would give us more room for the front seat than it does. If they were over 6 foot they would be very cramped, but I think there is still plenty of space for a front seat passenger in a compact SUV. I thought it was smaller than it is, but it doesn't take up as much space as the car seat it replaced. Excellent quality and comfortable for my son. It is easy to install.

👤This is what I was looking for my 15 month old. It's sturdy and comfortable. The cup holders look great. It's very easy to take my son out of the house with the straps adjusted. Would definitely recommend.

👤The most annoying part of installing the seat is that the tightener strap is very hard to tighten after the baby is in the seat.

👤I loved this car seat. The directions were hard to understand. I had to take it to the police department to have it installed. The baby likes it.

👤I love the Graco brand. The car seat is easy to install and clean, and it seems like it wouldn't be difficult to clean any other seat. I really wanted to love the seat but for the price, it wasn't what I wanted. I have been searching for a seat that is small enough to fit two people in the middle row of my car. I have other kids that need access to the third row seat so I have the seats installed side by side. The car seat is over 16 inches wide. I measured it at its widest point and it is 18 inches. I can't fold the passenger seat down to allow access to the back if I have two seats. I realized after doing my research that I am probably not going to find a seat that is more narrow than this one. I already own a slim fit for my three year old and will probably purchase a second one for my 12 month old as it is half the price and has the same bells and whistles. I would have kept the two I ordered and given a five star rating but I just can't justify paying an additional $100 per seat and not having the space saving feature. I hope this helps other people like me who need to maximize the seating room in their vehicles.

👤Our daughter has a car that we need to haul around with us, so we wanted to like this. Life is good if you get the same thing. Not. We had a hard time getting this seat to fit. We got it in, but not tight enough. We are driving a car and it is hard to get everything tight. My wife needs to be careful with what she does. If you put the zip on one of the sides of the back seat, it's very easy to put it in the rear facing position, and my wife can do it without hurting herself.

👤We were looking for a car seat that was easy to install and was SAFE for our car. It's easy to set up and install, and it's great for our 9 month old, because it fits our Mazda CX-5 with enough leg room for the front seat passenger! Maybe you are over 6'2”). The cup holder is large enough to hold a supply cup. We love our new seat.

👤The milestone was perfect for my car because I researched car seats for weeks trying to find the perfect one. The milestone is perfect in my small Mercedes and I was looking for a second car seat. The only problem I have is that the latch system is a little tight. I was debating between the Slimfit and the milestone, but I read reviews of the Slimfit that are wider than the milestone. I am very happy with my purchase. My son said it was very comfortable after I installed it. It has a cup holder on one side and padding on the other.

6. Kneeguard Kids Children Compatible Accessory

Kneeguard Kids Children Compatible Accessory

The package content and age are listed. The car seat footstool is compatible with all car and booster seats. The Footrest should be used as soon as kids are walking and sitting in a forward-facing car seat until their legs reach the floor of the vehicle. Installation: The seat has a latch behind it. The hooks that slip under the seat are for cars that don't have the latched system. The footrest can be folded down to make it easier to get in and out of the car. The Kneeguard Kid's footrest has been patented in the US.

Brand: Kneeguard Kids

👤The item is not good, but I like the concept. I don't understand the reviews. This item was very weak and flimsy. The piece of plastic that holds the footrest in place is very fragile and can break easily. The product makes clear on the item, box, and instructions not to use it as a step. That makes no sense. Your child will have to stand on the footrest for the most briefest moment in order to get out of the seat. Are we supposed to place our kids in the seat in order to avoid stepping on this thing? It's ridiculous. I don't understand why manufacturers do this. Please make a quality product. If the product is good, we will happily pay the higher price for it. But to charge us $50 for a flimsy product? We have 2 kids, that's $100 for a substandard item. You have to be kidding. We were happy to return ours. I recommend that you stay away from this item.

👤When my 6 year old started to complain about numbness in his feet after long car rides, I started looking for a footrest. I settled on this one because it looked good. I ordered one to try out because they addressed the problems that I was experiencing and the same unit would be able to give relief to my younger kids as well. The locking mechanism on the foot plate broke after the second use. I don't think it's obvious where it might have popped out of place. I expected the build on this footrest to be more sturdy, given all of the advertising for crash testing. When I heard a pop and the two tabs locked the footplate in the open position, I activated the mechanism to move the footplate into place. I'm not sure if I want to request a second unit because I'm not sure how quickly this broke. I will be sending this back to Amazon after requesting a refund.

👤I put this in my car for my son who is in a booster seat. The installation took a while. The car's latch system was to blame. It was difficult to attach this to the latches. It wouldn't stay in place after it was installed. The most frustrating part was folding the footrest so my son could get in and out of the car. My fingers are sore from trying to adjust the footrest. It wouldn't fold down. I'm going to take everything out of my car. What a waste!

👤It's hard to keep in place and the leather seats tear up. They wouldn't return or replace it after 8 months, even though they bought a product warranty, because they couldn't adjust to my 45 inch tall child. Total waste.

👤I have had this for more than a year. It was easy to use when I first got it. It was difficult to get it adjusted, but we eventually got it. I adjusted it twice after installing it. It was difficult, but we got it. After less than a year of use, it was stuck and we haven't been able to adjust it any more. I can't change the slant. The foot rest is stuck in place, but the bar will go up and down. I tried a second time and it didn't work. I want to change the position of my son, but I have not been able to because everything is in place. I paid $50 for a plastic stool. I'm giving it two stars for the first 6 months, because it used to do what it was supposed to do.

👤I wish I could give this seat a 3.5 star rating, but that option doesn't exist, so I went up to a four instead of a three. This car seat has been with us since February of 2016 It's been about 8 months since I wrote this, and it's been one year. When we purchased this car seat for my son, he was just one year old. He is an average sized child. We were in a passenger side impact car accident on the freeway last week and need to replace this car seat because my son was in it when it was side swiped. As I was thinking about what I would like in the next car seat, I thought about some things I don't like about this car seat, as well as some things I like. I thought it would be helpful for people to see my list of pros and cons after using the Condender 65 for over a year and a half. I kept my son safe in the car accident. The five point harness system was still installed tightly and there were no visible signs of damage. It's really affordable. It was cheap, but not cheap quality-wise. I didn't want to spend $300 on a Britax car seat if I could get away with it. I never considered the cup holder when buying a car seat because my son was barely a year old, but it has been great for holding toys, drinks, and snacks. It's easy to clean. The Britax and Chicco convertible models don't have cup holders built in which is a big problem for me. The ones that clip on seem flimsy and I've read a lot of mixed reviews that make those kinds of cupholders seem more an "afterthought" and don't really feel like a part of the seat. My son knows that he would pull them off and throw them on the floor. I read a review where a mom said her child did this for $30 to sit on the floor of their car. It's fairly light without feeling flimsy. It is 15.2 lbs, which sounds right to me. My niece has a Britax Pioneer car seat that is 26 lbs. The "Simply Safe Adjust" harness system at the top of the car seat is very convenient. It's nice to be able to press a button and pull it as your child grows, instead of having to re-thread the straps. It's easy to rethread the buckle. There is no "recline" button, but this could be a pro or con. If you are using the seat for forward or rear facing, you just flip the little wedge at the base of the seat. I never had an issue with it. We used it for both forward and rear facing. The little ball that indicates proper positioning was in the perfect place each time, without any adjustments or boosting in my Honda Pilot. Black straps! They hide the stains and clean them easily. All of the cons are personal preference and convenience issues. I have no doubt that this car seat is safe. It is difficult to move this seat from one car to another. The cheaper 'hook' style of straps are the ones that are used in cars, not the nicer ones that have a button like a seatbelt. They're a problem to get out of. It's a pain and a half to get in and out of my parents' BMW 5 series and my husband's Honda Civic, so I've transferred this from my Honda Pilot to my husband's Honda Civic. I end up sweaty and swearing. It is not helpful that the strap you use to adjust the seat is only on one side, so you have to climb into your vehicle or mess with it. We had to change it twice. When it came out of the box, my son was in the back of the car, and the adjuster was on the left side of the seat. It's more convenient to have the strap on the side of the door. You have to thread the belt through the seat because you can't just pull it out. When my son switched to forward facing, we had to adjust it again. These are the little things that you don't want to waste time on as a parent. If you could adjust the slack/tightness from both sides, it would be much more convenient. The little bar clip with a button that allows you to adjust the latch belt on the one side is very frustrating to use. It does nothing when you press it half the time. It is supposed to let go of its grip on the belt so you can get slack in the belt to remove the latch from the car or tighten it. My friend's car seat has an issue with the latch button. I am not a bad person, but I have lost patience trying and sometimes I have to ask my husband to mess with it. Stains. I have always been too lazy to take the entire cover off and wash it, even though I was positive I could remove the seat after the accident, because I didn't think I could do it. I have never been able to get the stains out of the seat insert with bleach. I wish they were easier to clean because it looks filthy, unfortunately, with a toddler it's unavoidable. I couldn't get the stains out of this seat, so I gave up. We had a seat in Glacier. The gray is shown in a photo. If you remove the lighter gray seat pad, the stains won't show. The little pad has always been left in for comfort. My friend with the same car seat has said that they washed the seat after their daughter had an accident and it took quite some time to dry. She didn't think the fabric would hold up to multiple machine washings. The five point harness that goes over the child is very difficult to use. I had a lot of issues with them not adjusting equally, which is unsafe. The straps seem prone to twisting and making the buckle backwards. The pull strap at the base of the seat can be difficult to pull tight enough. I felt like I would be pulling and yanking and it wouldn't be tight enough, so it drove me crazy. There is no recline handle to adjust the seat's incline. This could be considered a pro or con depending on how you look at it. The most important thing about the Contender 65 is that it kept my son safe in an accident, even though I didn't care for it much. We decided on the 4Ever car seat from Graco because I have faith in them. It fixes most of the "cons" on this list and has all of the features I loved about the Contender 65. I paid $238 for it on Amazon, but the price has fluctuated, and I've seen it as low as $199 on Amazon.

👤My third baby is 8 months old and I bought this for the 8th time. I'm a bit of a carseat snob. I am a freak about following rules for installing and caring for children. I have it installed and I'm trying to decide if I want to keep it or use it with my baby. Excellent recline positions, especially for bucketed seats, are provided by the plush cover and padding. This seat is good for 3 across installation, but feels a little plastic-y, flimsy on the top half of the seat. It can be done back and forth. The head support is very wiggly and there is no re-thread harness adjustment. It feels like the styrofoam would break instantly if your toddler leaned on it or yanked it hard. There isn't much room for growth with the harness straps. The overall impression leaves me underwhelmed. I purchased a wagon from Evenflo in May and it was amazing. The quality is amazing, it is a shame that this carseat didn't translate to it.

👤The carseat was filthy and the side plastic was scratched when it arrived. I got a Graco model for my older son, but the headrest is very flimsy. I ordered a replacement for my carseat, but it was filthy and didn't have a plastic covering. I got a new 4ever DLX after returning both carseats. I don't recommend this carseat for its lack of features. Take my word for it!

👤As a new mom of a 5 month old, I was happy to see that I could get a car seat for a good price. The car seat looks better in person. It is so sleek and comfortable. The instructions manual, snack tray, cups and plastic pieces were in the car seat when I took it out of the box. The padding is placed on the seat so it is easy to clean. The cup holders have liners that can be washed. I love the double cup holders. I usually have the fiancé install the car seats, but I took a stab at it myself. It wasn't easy for me, but with help from him, I was able to install tight and correct. He said that the installation wasn't bad and that the manual was definitely needed. After putting him in the car seat, he took a nap in it and we were very happy with it. The straps were easy to adjust to, but the bottom buckles were a bit harder to clasp. Since our son is still a baby, we use this car seat in our second vehicle, and it's easier to use a bucket car seat in and out of the house. We are excited to use the 4 in 1 car seat and watch him grow for many years. I am happy to know my son will be safe in this car seat in case of an accident. My child is in a car seat. The sensor safe clip that we have in our infant car seat is not included in this car seat. I will be sad to not have that feature in the future. It would have been a great addition to the car seat. This is a great price for a car seat and I recommend it.

Brand: Doona

👤This is the best and most satisfying purchase I have ever made in Amazon. We were able to leave the hospital with the baby the next day, because it arrived just the day after it was born. It was amazing to learn how to use it. We walked from the hospital to our home instead of using a car. Our baby has always felt comfortable when we seat him in the Doona, and it has been since then that we have been using it. It has served its purpose for every use we have thought of for it. Taking the baby to the restaurant for lunch and dinner is one of the use cases we have successfully checked. It is small enough to avoid people getting in close proximity to its wheels. The baby should be taken on a ferry. It worked well in the car seat. The baby really likes traveling since his first day out, thanks to the Doona. All of the drivers were impressed with how easy it was for us to get the baby in and out of the car, converting from stroller to car seat and back to stroller in an easy operation. They don't need to get off the car to open the trunk or help with the stroller because it's a car seat. It has made our life out of home a lot easier. Take the baby to the beach with a car seat that you can convert to a car seat with the handle and then pop it out when you hit a palm tree. We put a blanket over the Doona because the shade helps keep the baby comfortable but we go extra cautious. There is no mosquitoes or too much sun or wind. There is an official sunshade. We didn't want to wait for shipping times so we went the cheap way. The baby is going to the movies. Yes! Babies like the movie even if it is three hours long. We put the Doona in a car seat. If the baby is showing signs of wet diaper, you can change it during the movie to avoid crying. You can enjoy your movie date again if you seat close to the aisles or next to the handicapped seats. Since we found out we can do things we like, having done this helped us. The baby is on a plane. We had an international flight at week 5 and we felt like we were in a picture studio at the airport. It was easy to get to crowded places. There are two ways to travel with it. If you take the baby to the gate, the airline will take care of it and put it with the cargo and you can use it through customs and luggage pick up without having to hold it. And... 2. The Doona is certified for air travel so you can take it on board with your baby. We saved money by choosing option 1 and using baby formula. The stroller/seat was the easiest to use, and the airline staff said that too. There were other babies on both flights and they weren't having as good a time as we were. It's easy to take the car seat through the security check. It goes through the X-ray machine in a car seat. The right size for that. Taking the baby to doctor's appointments is a good idea because waiting rooms can get crowded and make other people uncomfortable. The Doona has a mode that I have never seen in reviews or elsewhere: just pull the wheels and leave it in the floor. It works like a rocking chair. Try it when you get yours and you will be amazed at how rocking chair mode works. I have never seen so many people with the same name. Getting in and out of elevators with one hand will take less space than if you use two hands. It is easy to do. It is so small and flexible that you can take it to the outlets and feel like a Kodak picture spot/opportunity. In the first two months, nothing has changed and we are happy we went the Doona way. The baby didn't notice the change after we removed the newborn insert. Thank you Doona, we have been happy parents. Our baby is 2.5 years old and we miss the Doona. We used it for 15 months and then we missed it again. It made another happy family after us. We would buy it if there was a similar one for toddlers. I still think it was the best purchase ever.

10. Maxi Cosi Coral Infant Essential Black

Maxi Cosi Coral Infant Essential Black

Rear-facing 4 to 22 pounds and less. A revolutionary 3-piece modular system. There are four modes of carry: cross-body carry, handle carry, standard carry and stroller carry. The pull tab makes it easy to adjust the length of the cross-body flex strap. The inner carrier is about 5 lbs. The inner carrier is about 5 lbs.

Brand: Maxi-cosi

👤I like the features it shows but it's frustrating to remove the inner shell from the baby in it. It will be so frustrating if you are in a rush and trying to get the inner shell out. The car seat is heavy. The cross body strap is too large for a short mom. I like the concept but it is not for everyone. I returned it.

👤I had a baby at 33 weeks. She fit perfectly into this car seat when she came home. If you want to cover baby up, you have to buy a cast seat cover or canopy separately.

👤The car seat has no recline. The seat is too upright and my baby's head always falls forward. It ends up being very upright because it has an extra carrier that fits into the other piece. For a young infant, you want them to be strong so they don't fall backwards and not be able to breathe. I can not fit a second seat in my double stroller because it takes up too much room, so I don't like how it sits on my baby jogger stroller. I like the fact that it has a lighter carrier, but it doesn't have a visor, so the sun gets in your baby's eyes. You have a heavy car seat if you need to carry the visor part. I wasn't impressed.

👤La silla es grande, pero bastante Bonita y tiene las dos formas de cargar. No es para nada sencilla de instalar y al final comprob, la base vena daada, la instalé con los latch. A seguro para una silla de bebé. Amazon me acept la devolucin.

👤I have it side by side with the NUNA Pipa RX Infant Car seat. It appears my baby is more comfortable and relaxed in this, the canopy is bigger and the 3-module structure makes it easy to detach the top inner carrier, which is light, not bulky and easy to carry. You can't go wrong with this seat.

👤We were drawn to the idea of a light carrier with a strap, and the fact that the base should include a load leg, a feature that should be included in every car seat. We had to return the seat because it was so short. We wouldn't trust it with our baby. The US car seat regulations are not as strict as those in Europe, and it is frustrating when European manufacturers choose to supply the US market with inferior bases to cheap out on the ignorant. The seat is secured to the base by only a single point and has a significant amount of give, which leaves it bouncing up and down as you drive, and that's before accounting for the additional slack between the inner-carrier and flimsy shell carrier. The seat cushion is not good. The material feels cheap and lacks newborn support. The only positive of this seat is that it has aremovable carrier, but that's not enough to make up for the lack of safety and security your child deserves.

11. Graco Atlas Harness Booster Glacier

Graco Atlas Harness Booster Glacier

Two seats are in a booster seat. The booster seat converts from a forward-facing harness to a highback belt-positioning seat. The Simply Safe Adjust Harness System allows the head and harness to adjust in one motion. In belt-positioning booster mode, the integrated harness storage compartment stores unused harness straps. Your child's headrest grows with you. There are two recline positions and 10 head rest positions in a car seat. Keep your child's drink close with integrated, dual cup holders. The belt guides help position the seat belt.

Brand: Graco

👤One of the most important products for toddlers is a car seat. Consumer Reports recently finished testing on toddler-boosters and said parts of five popular toddler-booster car seats broke. What they found and what parents can do about it are included in this. Toddler-booster seats are forward facing and can be used initially with a five point harness and then they can be used as a booster with the car's own seat belts. All seats must meet federal safety crash test requirements in order to be sold, but Consumer Reports' crash evaluations are more rigorous. The Britax Frontier ClickTight, Britax Pioneer, Cosco Finale, Graco Atlas 65, and the Harmony Defender 360 booster seats were found to break when tested with dummies whose weight is close to the seat's limits. "If the harness or top tether breaks, it can compromise the seats' ability to protect the child in a subsequent crash event," said Consumer Reports. It may allow the child to move further forward, if the harness disengages completely, the seat is no longer restraining the child. There were no injuries related to the structural failures revealed in Consumer Reports crash tests. What should you do if you own one of these seats? CR says that you should not stop using the seat if you don't have a replacement. A basic margin of safety is provided by any car seat, and it is better than no seat at all. If your child is less than 40 pounds, you can use this seat with the five-point harness. If your child weighs more than 40 pounds, you should use the seats in booster mode. CR says you should replace your car seat if it's too small for it to fit the booster and vehicle seat belts correctly. Britax, Cosco, Graco, and Harmony all stated that their seats meet federal standards and that CR's testing differed from the government's. Consumer Reports says that the best way to replace a child's car seat is with a new one.

👤The part that protects his brain broke and fell off. When I went to clean the pads, I found out. Take the pads off if you have one. I have four of these. I want to replace them all.

👤Absolutely love it! I don't need a car seat anymore. I think it's the total package. My car looks great again, and I'm confident that my son is safe. The last car seat was green and covered in stains within a month. There are a few features that I like. There will never be a stain that I can't remove. My son falls asleep in the car a lot, so no more bobbing head. My son's head is kept straight while he sleeps. My son can't escape the easy buckle. TheRemovable cover is easy to keep clean. There are more features, but the ones listed were most important to me.

👤I ordered two car seats at the same time and they both arrived a year ago. They only have 6 years left. If you are buying a new product, it should be within a month or two of the manufacture date. If you have a smaller SUV that allows for reclining back seats, you can recline the seats in my ford f350. The recline option makes it easier for the kids to sleep. The shoulder heigh adjustment is very easy to do. It's a big plus that cheaper options make you rethread. The seat is light and made of plastic which the higher end GRACO's have a steel core. The push to click seat belt style found on higher end car seats is not the same as the simple metal clasps under the seat. The materials are plastic and the fabric is not the most durable, but I'm very happy with my purchase, it was a year old when we received them. If life span is important to you, you might want to check with the vendor before ordering. Thanks!
