👤I prioritized safety ratings over ease of use when purchasing this. It is very difficult to use and has the best safety ratings. It's hard to take out. It is very hard to clean. It is difficult to clean a car seat when your LO gets sick frequently. It is quite a puzzle getting everything off and then putting it back together again. It is always a pain in the neck when we do this frequently. I have peace of mind that it is very safe, but I wish I had bought a different car seat that was more light and easier to install.

👤It was easy to add a new cover. Nothing else to say.

👤The cover made the older car seat look brand new.

👤The cowmooflauge print was stained when we had it. Our seat looks brand new because of this cover.

👤We bought this to replace our old one. Everything is the same as the original.

👤Unless you put one of these suckers on after 1998 you need every bit of help you can get.

2. Cybex Eternis SensorSafe Standard Pepper

Cybex Eternis SensorSafe Standard Pepper

As your child grows, the adjusted headrest offers comfortable protection. Headrest recline prevents sleepy heads from falling forward. The cup holder is dishwasher safe and can be positioned on either side. The fabric cover is easy to clean. The technology is called sensory safety. When unsafe conditions arise, SensorSafe Technology gives you an alert on your phone. The technology is called sensory safety. 👤It is a great looking car seat, and I saw many of it. The front tether is too close to the back of the seat, and it is very annoying to get between the tights and the crotch. It isn't good for older kids to return this one. I wanted to love it so much.

👤I love this seat. It feels natural when you install it and put the little one in. I had the Nuna all-in-one from Nordstrom and spent $400, but this one is better.

👤I've been using car seats for 16 years. Safety, comfort, and features have changed a lot in that time. I usually buy a Britax or Graco car seat, but this seat won me over with its extra features. The fabric is soft and padded. When my LO gets older, the 3 way headrest is going to be very useful. Installation took less than 2 minutes. Not having to use pool noodles to get a proper level means having multiple recline options. My LO is 10 months old and was happy to be in a car for the first time. If you are looking for top of the line safety and comfort, I would highly recommend it.

👤I would recommend a thousand times this cerseat. The safety features are awesome! I know some people would hate the beeping, but what is the purpose of it? Absolutely worth it! I like it. I feel good as a mom because I am giving my baby the best protection in the car.

👤The system doesn't work. Don't buy this seat for the sensor system. You're not getting the full feature set, but the seat is perfectly functional for safety.

👤I tried to wash the cover but it broke.

👤My kid loved it.

👤I love this seat. My little one is protected by all the safety features and instantly falls asleep. It is a good looking seat.

👤Estamos FELICES CON ELLAS.

3. TriRide Facing Highback Booster Clybourne

TriRide Facing Highback Booster Clybourne

The 3-in-1 car seat can be used in a rear-facing harness, forward-facing harness, and highback booster. A combination of the most rigorous crash tests help to protect your child in crashes. A 6-position recline helps for a better installation. A 6-position recline helps for a better installation.

👤There are a lot of issues with this car seat. It is not a safe seat and it looks cute. My daughter's chest harness does not stay in place on almost every ride. I can re-adjust it and put it around my daughters' armpits, but it will always slide down. This is not safe. My first car seat purchase is extremely unhappy and I will not purchase their products in the future. My daughter's head hangs down completely if she falls asleep in her chair, and this is a hazard. I wish I had saved my money and time on this one. I don't have a safe car seat for my toddler and I'm out $170.

👤The seat pad was moving very fast. It slid to the point where it exposed the hard plastic and hurt my child's back. Very upset with it.

👤The baby's head is hanging down.

👤I was overwhelmed by the number of car seats. I didn't know what to do. Each one had good and bad reviews. I am so excited to put my little one in this seat for the first time, I installed this today. I used seatbelt installation while rear-facing. It feels strong. This is my first Grace and I am very impressed. It is easy to loosen the harness straps when the headrest is adjusted up and down. It comes with two cup holders and lots of padding. I would recommend it to a friend.

👤Baby on the way, still didn't use it. It can lie down all the way back. I don't need to buy a new carseat. This can last a long time. Love it. It came with everything that isn't installed yet. Like the cupholders. It came with a manual that was a plus for the first time mom. I will let you know if it was a pain or not when I install it. I love it!

👤Soy padre por primer, puedo decir, andere, andere Ami hija se ve una instruement. Amigos, lo recomiendo.

👤So far, so good, I bought a month ago. The baby did great on the trip. It must be comfortable. I needed to use my elbow to pull the straps tight because they were so easy to adjust. The 2 cup holders are really nice. I couldn't figure out how to install the book and stickers. I took a video to install on my computer.

👤I bought this for my son. It doesn't have seat toddles to anchor the seat. The seat belt doesn't reach the other side if it's on the other side. It's not safe to see the dose. We have a new car that is safe, but I don't like the seat.

4. Chicco NextFit Sport Convertible Graphite

Chicco NextFit Sport Convertible Graphite

BUILT TO GROW is a rear-facing or forward-facing car seat that has a 9-position easy-adjust headrest and padded no-rethread 5-point harness to accommodate infants, toddlers and beyond. It is easy to install with simple leveling and tightening. The LockSure belt-locking system and SuperCinch force-multiplying tightener make it easy to get a tight fit with LATCH or the vehicle seat belt. The cupholder is dishwasher safe and the fabrics are machine washable. Superior DuoGuard with deep rigid shell for head and body support and EPS energy foam and steel-reinforced frame offer reassuring protection. Premium LATCH connections with click-on attachment and push-button release make it easy to switch between modes in a convertible car seat. Brand: Chicco

👤We have had a few different car seats, but this one is our favorite. The frame is strong and reinforced for me. My husband and I are both paramedics and have seen many car seats in accidents, and this one stood out to me as one of the safest, and it held up well in some of the more serious crashes. My kids preferred this seat over the others because it has the most cushion. The zip feature makes it easier to clean the fabric. I have had this seat for two kids and it is still in perfect condition. It feels safe, that's a plus. The sides are protected from every angle. It is a bit bulky but we didn't mind since it felt more safe than others. The push button system is a great feature. This is something I want on any seat I purchase because of the system that has ruined me. The clips and straps are no longer used. This seat is well worth the cost.

👤The NextFit ix's we replaced were in use when our vehicle was rear-ended. Both Kiddos were secured correctly and were not injured. Our oldest is close to the rear-facing weight limit on the original NextFit. The NextFit Zip Max can rear face up to 50 lbs. The Max is a bit bigger in feel and depth than the other side. Both of these are expected. When rear-facing the seats, we had to move our front seats up a bit to fit the larger size. The strap that you pull to tighten the harness is something that I have mixed feelings about. I like that it was moved inwards on the seat. The strap is being pulled underneath the cover when the harness is loosened. I wish there was a better stop mechanism in place so I wouldn't have to fish this out from under the cover.

👤When my son outgrew his Britax infant seat, I decided to go with the Graco Extend2fit because of its great reviews and moderate price. My son would scream the entire time he was strapped in. I couldn't get a good fit for my son or the seat itself. I tried the Britax Boulevard ClickTight. I have always used Britax car seats with my children, and I had high hopes for this one. The second row bucket seats in my car are huge. I had to return the seat because I couldn't get it to fit. I decided to give the Chicco seat a try because it gets great reviews on Consumer Reports and it doesn't make the "safest or best convertible car seat" list. I could tell that this seat was different from the other ones when my son didn't cry or fuss when I put him in it. The installation of this car seat is very simple and it really does take a quick pull of each strap, so I went to install it myself and it is rock solid. The fit of my child seat is perfect, even though I had to use a foam child seat positioner. My son loves it, it fits in my bucket seats. It seems to be one of the safest. I am very pleased with this purchase. Thank you Amazon and Chicco!

5. Chicco NextFit Max Convertible Seat

Chicco NextFit Max Convertible Seat

The NextFit Max Zip Air has 25% more legroom than other NextFit car seats and a 50 lbs. weight limit, which makes it ideal for older children. With more support for the calf. The 9-position, Easy-Extend Headrest System with one-hand adjustment raises with the 5-point harness to accommodate growth in both modes and a newborn positioner provides support for infants weighing 4-11 lbs. The 3D AirMesh backrest has added features such as zip-off, machine-washable seat pad and improved comfort. DuoGuard protection with a deep rigid shell for head and body support, as well as foam and steel-reinforced frame, offer reassuring protection. It's easier to install with premium LATCH, SuperCinch Force-Multiplying Tightener, Ride Right bubbles levels and a 9-position ReclineSure leveling system. Brand: Chicco

👤Where to start? I love this! I have a matching stroller and infant car seat for my little one. When the baby girl came along, I got my big boy this car seat. He loves it! He says it is warm. It was easy to install and feels snug. No guessing if it is in line with the others. Simple and easy to install, with the right amount of luxury for my sweet girl! Great purchase! Chicco never ceases to impress!

👤The Max is not the same as the 3 brand car seats we have. The harness release button is hidden. It's hard to un the straps. Otherwise love this car seat.

👤I can't rate its features because it's a gift.

6. Graco Admiral Convertible Seat Studio

Graco Admiral Convertible Seat Studio

It was designed to help protect your rear facing child from 40 to 65 pounds. Simply Safe Harness System adjusts the harness and headrest height with one easy motion. A combination of the most rigorous crash tests that helps to protect your child in frontal, side, rear, and rollover crashes; additional testing based on the New Car Assessment Program and for extreme car interior temperatures is what the Protect Plus engineered is. The 8 position headrest can be adjusted using one hand. Installation in the rear facing position using LATCH and an easy to read level indicator was painless. Installation in the rear facing position using LATCH and an easy to read level indicator was painless.

Brand: Graco

👤Our compact sedan is too big for our Graco Extend2Fit, so we bought this as a second car seat. The admiral fits well in our cars. The strap adjustment is easier with this one. Very pleased with our purchase.

👤It's very difficult to loosen the straps on this car seat because you have to do it every time. You used to lightly tug on the straps when lifting a flap in an older version. In this model, you have to reach your fingers deep inside a small hole and then press down on a lever while tugging on the straps. It is difficult to do this when the car seat is in the rear facing position. I don't think anyone with short fingers or large fingers can do this.

👤The car seat was purchased to replace the first one. When choosing a car seat, the only things that mattered to us were that it was small, easy to use, and looked sleek, and that it was able to sit next to an infant car seat. Safety mattered too. We were having trouble fitting an infant car seat next to a convertible car seat for our small car. It worked with this seat. My daughter loves it. As our child grows, it is easy for parents to adjust. It was more difficult to install than our Safety 1st. We don't move the seat so this didn't matter to us. We would definitely purchase the same one again.

👤I bought this for our second car and was not impressed. Roll up the towels to put under it in order to recline. That doesn't seem safe and isn't worth the money savings.

👤The car seat is great so far. It was easy to install and my son was comfortable. It has a good amount of padding, unlike some of the other carseats. My 13 month old can easily reach his sippy cup and put it back, the cupholder is at a great angle. I was afraid it would be too large to fit in my small car, but it fits behind the passenger seat.

👤I bought this car seat for my dad because he helps transport my son. My son loves it and is comfortable in it. It has a lot of room and is cute. My son is a year old and weighs 30 pounds. There is room for him even with his coat.

👤The seat is attractive. Minimum efforts are put into it. The foam is very thin and you can feel it through the plastic. The plastic seat is not hard like our other one. I can bend, push and pull it. There are two bars. The other seats have stronger bars. I picture a large vehicle hitting my baby girl side of the car and this seat doesn't feel safe to me. We are buying the Britax One4Life. My heart is against this seat. My bank was happy. I don't think this would protect my girl in my car. It would be better for an SUV, van, truck. Make sure you check the plastic before you use it for your child. It is a great seat because it has a circular cup holder and some have square cup holders. That is nice. The seat cover makes it easy for our daughter to get sick in the car. I will buy a steam cleaner for her. The only thing that is a downside is that it doesn't have a cover at all. The cost with accessories is $500. This seat is budget friendly and much safer than other car seats you can find. The seat is not safe for us.

7. Safety 1st Guide Convertible Seaport

Safety 1st Guide Convertible Seaport

The LATCH equipped Safety 1st car seat is perfect for smaller cars or for extra space in your larger vehicle, and it accommodates children from 5 to 40 pounds in rear facing mode and from 22 to 65 pounds in forward facing mode. The harness should be adjusted from the front of the seat. The infant car seat has side impact protection built into it. Three of these seats can fit side by side in the back seat of most cars, perfect for growing families and carpools. A cup holder and body pillows make it easy for your child to sit in the seat. The car seat has a one year limited warranty. Safety 1st is the leader in child safety and they want to give you peace of mind so you can spend less time worrying and more time enjoying your child. Safety 1st is the leader in child safety and they want to give you peace of mind so you can spend less time worrying and more time enjoying your child.

Brand: Safety 1st

👤Allow me to speak out against something. Is it portable? Yes. It is much lighter and easier to carry than the Britax Marathon. It is airport-friendly to parents' backs. The positives end here. The car seat's slimness is both a blessing and a curse because it's lighter in weight and narrow, which will make your toddler pinched in this. The boys tend to be bigger. The car seat has a problem with safety. A car seat that is easy to install by a parent is a good sign. If your child is not properly secured in a titanium car seat, it will be worthless. When I took the car seat to a car seat technician, I realized the difficulties. He said that he hates this particular car seat because most parents who come to him with it don't have it installed correctly and it's not their fault. It is nearly impossible to install a car seat using the LATCH feature. You almost need to be Arnold Schwarzenegger in his prime to have the strength to tighten this. Many parents compromise to move on. That is not enough. If the car seat continues to wiggle, your little one is not safe and can be whipped around dangerously in a car accident or if you brake too hard. So, you think you'll use the seatbelt? The problem is not solved. It is very difficult to tighten the seat belt to avoid moving beyond the 1 inch allowed in the user manual. Only 1 inch of wiggle is allowed by many parents. The recline is an issue because the seat almost cannot be properly tightened. The manual says that it is safe for your child to recline. The seat belt that is supposed to hold it in place is too loose, which causes the seat to recline too much. You should put your child in a highchair and drive. There is a long story short. The fact that the seat is not adequately tightened makes it very dangerous. Skip this one. I write reviews to give back to the Amazon community. **

👤Our family had to choose between a minivan and our first home with three kids. We were left wondering how long we'd be able to cram everyone into our Honda Accord, as it was pretty stuffed already and the twins would outgrow their baby cars quickly. Satefy first to the rescue! They fit! The price was reasonable and they were advertised as compact, so I decided to try them. They are comfortable for both my small and large toddlers. We are very happy with this seat.

👤I love my safety. Guide 65 is a car seat. My son does the same. The Pro's are Stain free, Smell free, Very comfortable and soft, and Easy to Buckle baby in with the lower Buckle as opposed to other brands. The baby trend is here. The lower clasp makes it difficult for both hands to concentrate. The larger chest plate seems to stay put easier and the lower buckle can be clasped one side at a time, which makes it easy to install and compatible with any vehicle. This is high quality and cheap. Con's: Uh? Doesn't come in a size that mom can fit in. I love it so much that I would love to own one. The bottom line is an excellent deal. I look for quality in a good purchase.

8. Century Drive Seat All One

Century Drive Seat All One

The car seat is 3-in-1. The rear-facing booster has a weight of 5-40 lbs, the forward-facing booster has a weight of 22-65 lbs, and the forward-facing booster has a weight of 40-100 lbs. The Happy Planet collection. Their Do More promise is to recycle, reuse, and give back. Space-saving design. It is a back seat space saver. No hustling. No-rethread harness system; one-hand, 6-position headrest and harness adjust together. There are 6 positions for the right install. Designed and tested to help provide safe and secure protection so you can focus on the road ahead. Side-IMPACT PROTECTION. The built-in 5-point harness system was tested for occupant retention. Side-IMPACT PROTECTION. The built-in 5-point harness system was tested for occupant retention.

Brand: Century

👤I bought this seat on Prime day sale a few months ago. When my toddler went with his grandparents, I bought a second car seat for him. We loved it so much that it became his primary seat. The low profile fits perfectly in our car and we always found ourselves getting my son into it. The seat is so flexible that we love it. It is much more comfortable than our other seat, and my son can easily fall asleep in it. The cup holders are garbage. My kid can remove them with ease. If you absolutely need snack holders, it's something to consider, since we solved this by removing them completely and flipping down the car's center seat cup holder. This was the perfect purchase.

👤My husband and I tried to install this in 2 different cars, first the seat belt and then the anchors, because our friend who is an obsessive car seat researcher suggested this to us. We were never able to get it installed in a secure location. We tried the rolled towel that is recommended in the instructions, but there was no dice. We're supposed to base the car seat's security on a towel. You're going to see the video I posted and say, "she just doesn't have the anchor straps tight." The straps were tight and it didn't make a difference. It's like... The angles are off. The cup holders have to be installed according to the manual. Which is fine, they were, but what if our kid pulls one out and throws it out the window on the freeway? Is it necessary to throw the car seat away? The instructions book and online installation videos are very basic, and I found some flaws in the video, such as the anchor strap being slack, but you can clearly see that the woman is trying to move the car seat back and forth. Fishy! If you want to try this for the price, but be honest about whether it is too loose, you should return it.

👤We've never had a better carseat. Function and beauty in one. The one-handed head rest adjustment is the best feature, it allows the shoulder straps to go up and down with no rethreading. Easy removal of the newborn piece. Instructions are on both sides of the seat, which makes it easy to place a height stand. My baby is 1.5 years old and 25 lbs., so there is plenty of time and space to grow into the seat.

👤The seat is flimsy and there is little room for sitting.

👤When I say I like this car seat, I could go into detail. I will keep it short. The seat is worth something. You get a lot for what you pay. Not everything is top tier comfort and quality. This is not a premium seat. It passes all of the safety requirements. It was easy to use. If you are a first time parent, I highly recommend you look for certified car seat educators in your area to make sure you are using the right seat for your child.

9. Baby Trend Trooper Convertible Seat

Baby Trend Trooper Convertible Seat

There are three modes of use: rear facing infant, rear facing toddler, and forward facing toddler. The built-in bubble level indicator helps find the correct angle, and the rear-facing recline flip foot allows for great installation angles with ease. The Trooper can fit 3 ACROSS in most vehicles, it's 16.75" wide. The lightweight shell allows for the use of a latch. The crotch position buckle is used for seat adjustment. The crotch position buckle is used for seat adjustment.

Brand: Baby Trend

👤If a boy, I would recommend avoiding the red car seat. It looks pink.

👤It was bought for a baby. I would recommend buying it, but I would also recommend replacing the crotch buckle. They are hitting into my baby's legs. On short trips under 30 minutes, the baby doesn't mind, but on longer trips, the baby's legs start to get red marks, and the baby is not happy. This carseat was purchased as a second seat and an infant carseat. The baby doesn't like either seat but the crotch connectors in the infant seat don't cut into the baby's legs causing red marks. I will say that this seat reclines nicely. You will need to move your front seat in order for the seat to be at the proper angle. Nobody can sit in the front of the car. The included infant insert is very supportive and very nice. I would recommend this seat, but I would look into replacing the crotch strap connectors.

👤The instructions to adjust the seat are useless. Do you want to change the thingamajig? We don't tell you where the thingamajig lever is, so just push it. Is it necessary to extend the whatsis? How to shorten it. Lengthening is a top secret. It's just useless. Try online videos that are helpful. A small amount. It is not expensive. That's good. If you can figure out how to make it fit your child, it might work. All car seats are complicated. What happened to the bar?

👤When our son outgrew his infant seat, we purchased this. The seat in front of us in the CRV has to be almost all the way forward when rear facing. Our f350 has shoulder belts on all the rear seats, but this seat did not work in it. The shoulder belts were not tight enough to keep the seat from sliding. We have purchased a second seat and this is a backup.

👤The car seat we bought is much lighter. It is much smaller. It is well suited for any car and can hold others in the backseat. It is difficult to tighten the harness straps. The straps get caught under the car seat when it is not moving. The straps are hard to move on and the strap coverings make it hard to tighten the harness. The covers are difficult to move because of the Velcro on the straps. It will take time to get used to the seat. I hope it gets easier to tighten the harness. If we can get a proper install in our second car, we will continue to use this seat.

👤We needed a seat that was 3 across and this seat is great. It can be difficult to get a tight install and the harness is difficult to tighten without using a lot of force. The force pulls the seat bottom up in a way that seems wrong. My kids are 3 years old and between 30 and 36 pounds, so it is easy to read the shoulder height.

10. Britax Allegiance Stage Convertible Static

Britax Allegiance Stage Convertible Static

Installation of a car seat is easy because of the push button latch connectors and built in lock offs. No rethreading, ever: Quick adjust 10 position harness with headrest grows along with your child. Remove the car seat cover without removing the harness. Side impact protection, steel frame, impact absorbing base, and forward movement are designed for safety. It fits. The rear facing 5 to 40 pounds and the forward facing 20 to 65 pounds are 26 x 18 x 21 inches. It fits. The rear facing 5 to 40 pounds and the forward facing 20 to 65 pounds are 26 x 18 x 21 inches.

Brand: Britax

👤The seat is FAA approved, but can't be used with a seatbelt. The seat is designed so that the belt goes between the plastic shell and the cushion, which means that the seatbelt installation cannot be done when the baby is in the carseat. The plane buckle ends up under the baby's back or bottom. No way around it. I tried different types of aircraft from 2 different companies, but nothing worked. This is a design flaw for a seat that is approved by the FAA. It hasn't been tested for airplane travel.

👤I returned my Extend2fit because I couldn't get my daughters straps to fit against her chest. The carseat is easy to adjust. The straps loosen and tighten just as easily with the simple press of the lever. After fighting with the Extend2Fit, it was a relief to know that it was not right. The manual says to be reclined all the way into the third position for rear facing, which was ridiculously easy just like everything else about this seat, so ignore the review that says "does not recline", because the "recline" bar is bright red and says "RECLINE" The best thing about this carseat is that it doesn't have to be threaded at babys shoulders. The back of the seat has a panel that clicks up and down to adjust the height of the straps. It could not be any harder. I had to remove the gray flexible chest straps because my daughter is small and they couldn't fit against her belly. The booklet said that they were designed for when your child is forward facing, as they are an extra shock absorbing safety feature. The seat is easy to adjust, and as a mother I feel more confident that my daughter will be safe in it. I would have gotten this instead if I had known what I know now, because I would have wasted time looking for a sale price on that one.

👤My son is 1.5 years old and I have used the Britax Allegiance with him since day one, and now use it for my daughter. These car seats are very easy to install. I used a Gracco car seat at the in-laws when we were there and it was very cheap and not very sturdy. The only way Britax could improve on this car seat is if they made it recline at more of an angle for infants. When we brought the children home from the hospital, they were almost sitting upright because there was not enough angle. These car seats are not included.

👤This carseat is so exciting! Love the cushion behind the seatbelt. It was easy to install.

👤We love our Britax car seats. Our kids are comfortable in them and we don't worry about their safety when using them. They fit into all of our vehicles, from our small sedan to minivan.

👤I own 5 britax car seats for my 6 grandsons and will only buy this brand in the future. I have ever bought a car seat that was the safest and most durable.

11. Graco 4Ever DLX Seat Fairmont

Graco 4Ever DLX Seat Fairmont

You can use 4 in 1 car seat for 10 years if you change from rear facing harness car seat to forward facing harness car seat, high back belt positioning booster, or backless belt positioning booster. The protect Plus helps to protect your little one in crashes. Simply safe adjust harness system adjusts the height of your harness and head rest to 10 positions in one motion to ensure that your child is always secured. Do not bleach. 6 position recline helps keep your child comfortable. The audible click on the In right Latch attachment helps ensure secure installation. Installation of the seat belt is easy with the belt lock off. The rapid remove cover removes in 60 seconds. Mild soap and cool water may be used to clean metal and plastic parts. Brand: Graco

👤Please read the manual. The first bad review I saw was of a sleeping baby girl with her neck in a bad position because her parents didn't install it correctly. She is small and should be in the rear facing position with the straps below her shoulders, which would mean the headrest would be lower so she wouldn't be in an awkward position. Also, tighten the straps. The installation is hard at the seatbelts. If your baby is 40 lbs or more, make sure to use the seatbelt and avoid LATCH because my son is close to 40 lbs. If you front face, please choose a position that is easy for my son to fall asleep in. When facing forward, make sure the straps are above the shoulders. The nextfit zip is easy to take off and wash, and it is easier to put a baby in the middle seat. The side protection ofChicco makes it a boat, but it doesn't have the bulkyness of Graco Trueshield. I bought 2 and will update my review as time goes on.

👤The baby is not comfortable to sleep in. I was expecting a good all in one car seat for my baby but this is one of the worst purchases I have ever made. I regret buying it because it might hurt my baby's neck. It is too expensive to just get rid of it.

👤The Bryant style was ordered by me. In all of the photos, it is grey, but it is burgundy. It is grey in a customer question. It is not grey.

👤I'm really upset to write this. I like graco. I would caution you against using this car seat. My son is 4 years old and I have a car seat that is facing the other way. Every time he falls asleep, there is limited neck support and he is in pain the next day. Poor guy! The next thing is the safety lock. If the car seat is rear facing, the latch system can be used. The graco car seat can be front facing. I can use the system. Not using the latch system makes me very nervous. I would caution you on those two things. Both safety and comfort. Hope this helps!

👤She was outgrowing her infant seat when she moved out of her old car seat. It was easy to make the adjustments so she could wear it like a glove. The modifications they made to the DLX version are nice, but not necessary. The center strap/button is in a better place to ensure a snug fit and the cover is easier to remove. If your budget is tight, the non-DLX is equally secure and easy to manipulate, even if you have 2 DLX versions.

👤I bought this two weeks ago. It took me a long time to pick a car seat for my son. I read reviews on different car seats. My husband thought it was crazy to spend that much on a car seat. I really like this car seat, so I'm glad I argued. If it gets dirty, it's easy to remove the padding. Just a few clips and boom it off. You can adjust the harness straps by pushing a button and pulling up. Instead of having to take everything apart and put it back together again. I like the extra padding and the seat positions. It's easy to install but it's difficult to uninstall. Some people were complaining about weird noises, but I haven't heard them. I have noticed a few draw backs to this type of car seat since purchasing it. My son is 5 months old and needs a carrier while we're out. I can't put him in a shopping cart, so I'm looking for a small sling or carrier that I can keep in the car for when we're out. The second con I have noticed with this type of seat is that you can't take these out or they aren't supposed to be, unlike the infant carriers that you can carry with you anywhere. There are restaurants. I don't eat out much. I can't put my baby in a restaurant because the car seat is in the car. I have a carrier so I'm looking for a portable high chair for those situations. I couldn't eat until the family was done. Since he was strapped to my chest, I could eat since he wasn't in a sling.
