👤We bought this car seat a few months ago. It fits in the back of our car. We were in a car accident yesterday and the front air bags deployed. Our son was secured in the back seat of the car. It was almost like he didn't know there had been an accident because this car seat kept him safe. He probably wouldn't have noticed anything if it weren't for the sirens and fire trucks. We are going to buy another one of these.

👤I read through the reviews and decided to write a review. I have had a car seat for a year. I wanted something that would stay in my car all the time, so I started using it when my baby was too heavy to carry in the infant seat. I like the design of the mickey mouse. I have installed every car seat I have ever owned in the same way, so I am not sure why others had a hard time installing it. We have gone through at least 6 or 7 car seats here. The anchor clips are the same as any other brand I have seen, and I have used other safety first styles as well. If your car has locking seatbelts, you can use the seatbelt install. If you use both methods at the same time, it can put too much stress on the seat and cause it to not function properly over time. The standard 5 point harness style is used in America and Canada. Some reviews said the straps were unsafe. I believe they wanted the old style harness with no chest clip, like they still use in Australia, the UK and Asia. This seat is easy to install. The material and padding is very soft for my baby. She can raise the back up as she gets taller. My daughter is smaller than average so I plan to rear face for a long time. I am happy that I found this seat that I can use throughout that time and that I can face her when she is older.

👤It's amazing! My daughter is about to be 6 months old on the 22nd and her legs have started to hang off the edge of the carrier so we needed to buy a new "Big girl" carseat. I was looking for a grow with me. I fell in love with the bonus features of this one. The impact cushions, the 2 cup holders, and the fact that I can remove the harness and use it as a seatbelt booster seat until she weighs 100 lbs were some of the reasons I decided to purchase this specific carseat. Not to mention the fact that it's a mickey mouse. I got the order 36 hours later. It was assembled completely. I had to pull it out of the box. Don't even think about how soft the material is. My baby girl loves her new carseat. I will never have to buy another carseat for her because of the "grow with me" aspect. I am 1000% satisfied with my order and would recommend this carseat again and again.

👤I was in a car accident with my child in this seat. I am so thankful that she was okay. I ordered the exact same model to replace the one that had been in an accident. My child is 2.5 years old and weighs 35 lbs. Outside of this accident, we really like this car seat. It's easy to get her in and out. It was difficult to clean after she vomited in it, but I washed it and ran it through a spin cycle in my washer to help it dry quicker. I bought the liner pad to keep the seat clean and keep the yucky stuff out of the tiny crevices. We haven't tested that theory yet. We have put this seat in a lot of cars, including a Mazda 6, a VW Passat, a Honda Odyssey, and more. In smaller cars, the front passenger seat has to be moved up a lot to accommodate this seat while rear-facing, which has worked great in all of them. One way to get it out of a car is to unbuckle the seat belt. If you liked my review, please vote for me.

👤We bought this car seat because we think Britax is very good. The seat is too small for our toddler. The straps are too short and they get caught on something inside the seat. The straps are already too short, so this makes the strap lengths even. Even though we have removed padding, the crouch area is still very tight. We paid more money for this seat than other people did. I assumed my son would be able to use it for at least a year if the product information said 65 pounds.

👤The carseat is great. The harness Buckle between the legs is very short and requires you to loosen and tighten the straps each time you put your child in. It's worth it to me because of the safety ratings, and I can live with that. I was expecting that my 14 year old child would be comfortable in the small car we have, but he seems to be. You can get the clicktight too tight. I had a strap that was too tight so I almost couldn't un-click it. We were good to go once we loosened the strap and pressed down on the seat. It is very secure and in the perfect position, but it has a little learning curve at first.

👤The model was changed from 4 stars to 1 after a year of use. It is unsafe and mad. The belt component and its clips on this model are aweful. I almost got a hernia when I tried to loosen the belt to get the car seat out of my car. The car seat is coming apart three weeks after the warranty expired. The Britax car seat we have is not very good.

👤This seat is not even close to safe, even though it is based on safety ratings. Three separate Britax marathon seats have fallen apart at the sides. The two plastic side pieces are supposed to be connected, but within a few months one or both sides become loose. I called and email britax and they agreed it was a safety concern and replaced the seats. Customer service is great. I am terrified to use this seat since the same thing happens to each seat.

3. Evenflo Chase Harnessed Booster Jayden

Evenflo Chase Harnessed Booster Jayden

The 2-in-1 combination booster car seat converts from a 5-point harnessed car seat to a belt-positioning car seat for extended use. Child's harness can be adjusted with a central front access to the harness adjuster. The LATCH systems allow for easy installation and transfer between multiple vehicles. Do not use abrasive cleaners. The Buckle Positions are used to adjust for more seating space as a child grows. Integrated cup holders keep drinks close without increasing the width of the car seat, allowing multiple car seats to fit your back seat. The harness booster should be at least two years old. The child's ears are below the child restraint. The seat belt booster should be at least four years old. 👤I never wanted to write a review. My husband and kids were in a car wreck. The car is totaled. The husband was wearing his seatbelt and the airbags deployed, but he was pretty beat up. My toddler is fine in this seat. There were no sore or bruised things. When the seat arrived in the mail, I was worried it wasn't good enough. It was cheap, but not as much padding as her infant seat. I'm buying another one after yesterday. I would like to thank you for keeping my baby safe.

👤We purchased a booster car seat for our daughter and are very happy with it. Our daughter is very comfortable in it and we feel safe. She loves the double cup holders on the arm rests. The car seat is easy to install. It's seriously. It takes two minutes. It's great.

👤My daughter is a bigger child. She is almost 4 years old and wears a size 7 clothes. She hated her last car seat because it was slimmer and she was always uncomfortable in it. She fits better with this one. I have had to fix the straps a few times because they tend to twist. It's easy to take out in cars. The cup holders are very nice. No more lost sippy cups. I am happy with this seat.

👤I ordered two. For a girl and boy. I opened it and there was no need for assembly. It was easy to set up in the van. My daughter and son love their new carseats, they are 6 years old and 3 years old, and this one fits them a little big, and the colors are beautiful. She will grow in it, which is great. My son fits in it but it is big for him and he will grow with it. I love them both. There is a A year later. They are still good!

👤I upgraded all of my children's carseats and purchased a new one for my almost 5 year old, while also purchasing a booster for my older child. I was excited to install them, until I pulled them from the boxes. It's very cheap to make this seat. The plastic cupholders fall off very easily and refuse to stay clicked into place, and the plastic around the headrest is very flexible, which I believe in a car accident, if the child is injured. I could bend it without much effort. I don't think it offers much protection. The straps kept coming loose as she moved around, which I can honestly say, I've never seen before, which I hope is a defect from the one sent to me. I gave it a chance. I tried to take it to my car and install it, but my husband didn't say anything. I let my 5 year old try out her sisters seat, because the Graco tranzitions were better for $25 more. My husband told me to box it up, send it back, and order a second tranzitions, because he didn't feel comfortable putting our child in this seat. I don't think this car seat will be a good fit for you if you are a big fan of car seat safety.

4. Hifold Fold Highback Booster Racing

Hifold Fold Highback Booster Racing

The hifold booster seat is the world's most adjusted booster, with unique "multi-fit" technology that can be adjusted to 243 individual settings. The car seat is designed for kids aged 4 and up with a height of 40 to 59 inches. The world's most portable booster. The multi-fold system folds down to a compact size for storage, travel, and more. It is lightweight and has a carry strap. The hifold kids booster seat keeps your child safe and comfortable while they grow. The seat, body, head width and height can be adjusted. Ultra-light weight foam for superior impact resistance. This portable car seat is regulated for global use so it can be used anywhere in the world except Australia and Taiwan. The Creative Child Product of the Year Award was won by the CONVENIENT AND NARROW OSTER SEAT. For older kids, grandparents cars, or for fitting three children in a row, use this car booster seat. Brand: Mifold

👤I love this booster. I was a little weary at first, as a former car seat tech I am very picky about what seats I use, and the Mifold is not a recommended seat because it gives a poor belt fit. I wanted to try it out. My small 7 and 8 year olds are very comfortable and easy to adjust in this seat. It's great for very skinny kids. The hips should be adjusted very narrow. It works well with 3 across. The price point is the only thing that needs to be fixed. It would be much more realistic if it was $80. I would like to get another one.

👤The chair is made for posture correctness. Some of the flaws are more apparent to me now that we have had it over a month. There is no padding in this chair. It is either better or notexistent. I understand that padding will make it more bulky, but it defeats the purpose of marketing it as a compact traveler. I think comfort is the most important consideration in a seat. There are two more My son's thighs are on the actual cars seats, and he only has seats on the chair. On long drives, there is a chance that the chair will fall off and the car seat will start. My solution has been to put a sweater under the thighs. The lap belt is a joke. It just slides out because nothing keeps it locked in place.

👤We live in NYC, and we use the ride-sharing service. A child seat in an ride-sharing service can change a $10 fare to a $35 fare and a 4 minute wait to a 25 minute wait. I carry a small gym bag around NYC when we go out and about. It was paid for itself in two weeks of weekend rides with our little guy. If you are mobile, this is a must buy.

👤It's not good for 2 years old. I think it's only good for a few years.

👤I already used the mifold. I wanted to have 3 seats in the back row. It is very comfortable for the kids and I can adjust it. I can easily place them in my trunck without sacrificing the whole space there. It is easy to fold and unfold after some practice.

👤I haven't tried it yet. I have unfolded and refolded, which is confusing but really not bad. Everything gets easy if you just get used to it. Was surprised by how much it weighed. The weight in the description was heavier than I thought. Its not very heavy. I think I'll get a shoulder pad for the carrying strap when I'm in the airports.

👤If your child is between a 5 point harness and a regular booster, this is what you need. The car seat is designed for kids who are in high back boosters. We needed something lightweight and easy to carry with us as we travel around the world, but also share rides with others. It is very easy to fold up with a few clicks. It was simple to travel through airports, as it folds up and can be carried around the neck like a cross strap or strapped to the handle of a rolling bag. It was carried into baseball games by us. It fits in the carry on compartment of an airplane. It is not designed to be used as a car seat on an airplane, just a vehicle with a shoulder strap. It's easy to get the seatbelt through the belt strap guide. My 6 year old could unbuckle herself. I would recommend a high back booster for any family travelling.

5. Britax One4Life ClickTight All One

Britax One4Life ClickTight All One

A new one4life convertible to booster car seat can be used for 10 years. You'll know it's right in the first three steps. One4life converts from a rear facing infant car seat to a forward facing 5 point harness. The crumple zone helps absorb crash energy and the v-shaped tether is patented. Two layers of side impact protection surround the head, neck and torso. Two layers of side impact protection surround the head, neck and torso.

Brand: Britax

👤The car seat came out just in time, I have been looking for it. I wanted an extended rear facing car seat that was up to 50 pounds, as I have read that rear facing is best for little ones. I wanted the seat to be convertible to a front facing and booster seat so I wouldn't have to use multiple car seats over the years. There is a I wanted it to be safe. I narrowed it down to the nextfit max, graco extend2fit, and this car seat because they all have the booster option. The graco extend2fit would have been my choice if the seat hadn't come out. This car seat is the winner over the graco. There is a The installation is easy. I don't have to worry about messing with the latch, and I only have to close the click tight panel under the seat once I put the seatbelt across. My mom sat in it and was impressed by how comfortable it was. I was worried that it wouldn't fit in my car because of the extended rear facing seat. I was expecting a front seat passenger but there is still room for a passenger in the front seat. If it's in your budget, stop searching and get this car seat today. The safety of my child is worth it even though it is on the pricier side. It is worth the investment when I consider that the seat will last 10 years, and that I spend more time eating out than I did on the seat, it puts things in perspective. If it was helpful, please give this review a thumbs up.

👤I have removed a star for lack of comfort. Without a pull-up on but with the Britax Seat saver in use, my son started complaining about his bottom hurting and the seat being too hard about 25 minutes into the ride. I put my hand on the seat cushion and felt a bar under the seat cushion. The cushion isn't padded enough. That is not comfortable! This is very upsetting for a seat like this. The manual storage location is stupid. It is under the seat cushion behind the child's back, making it more difficult for the child to sit on. It would get torn up from all the moving around of the child. I don't like storing it in my glovebox. It should be with the seat. The only RF seat that has a shell tall enough for my son, who is only in the 75th percentile for height, is this one. I liked the harness straps, but now they seem to be falling apart. I'm going to keep an eye on this. There is a lot on this seat that needs to be improved. I'm very disappointed that there is no anti-rebound bar for this seat. The seat was shown with the anti-rebound bar, which was supposed to be used for a leg rest. The anti-rebound bar was not mentioned when the seat was released. An ARB might be available at some point, according to the company. Not good enough. Britax states the importance of the ARB and then releases a seat that doesn't have one. The seat cover doesn't fit the headrest. I've talked to someone else who has this seat and it's the same as mine. There is a lot of foam around the top of the seat. I don't like it. All. . It seems like it's too easy for the foam to be damaged. The headrest is moving a lot. This seems odd to me. It doesn't fit in the seat shell. I hear it rattle when my son moves his head. It seems like it should be better for the price. This seat is quite wide. I measured at the cupholders. Since we don't have any other passengers in the back seat, it does fit in my small car. The cupholders are easy to remove. It would be dangerous for the driver to have cupholders launched around the vehicle if they pulled them out and thrown them around by a young child. The seat requires the child's head to be below the shell, which is confusing. I don't like ambiguous rules for car seats, though I know a lot of them have this rule. I'm going to talk to a tech about how to measure that. My son is 42" tall and is 4 years old, so he seems to fit well in it. We finally found a seat that he can use to max out rear-facing in height or weight, because he has such a long torso. We already had a seat he could forward face in, so hopefully the rule won't affect that. I've only allowed my son to sit in the seat with a pull-up on so far, and I'm concerned the crotchbuckle is too short, which could cause him to break his crotch. I will find out if the Britax Seat Saver will be comfortable for him without a pull-up. The seat was easy to install. This is the only seat I've tried that is easy to install. It installed more evenly than any of the others I've tried. I like that the seat cover is machine washable, but I haven't tried removing it yet. It's machine dryable, which is great, but I will probably try not to dry it to help with longevity. The seat is quite tall. I have to have it on the second-to-last recline in order to be able to see out my window. The comfort of the seat, ease of installation, and height of the shell are the big winners here. The straps are easy to tighten and I like them. I leave the straps and unbuckle to get my son in and out so I don't have to tighten it all the time. The anti-rebound was supposed to be available. The ARB is more important with bigger kids since they have more force. There are some things that need improvement on this seat, but there are also some great things about it. I don't think we will keep this seat. The Nuna Exec comes with an anti-rebound bar and is easy to install, so we might end up with it.

👤1. What are the magnetic buckle holders? Yes! It's much easier to get kids in than it is to pull the harness. 2. Cup holder included? Yes! You don't have to pay extra for something every car seat needs. 3. Does it fit a baby to preschool? Yes! I tested it on my giant 21 month old in 3T, and a 3 year old who is 40” tall and 42 lbs, because I liked it so much with the newborn. They all fit. It was easy to adjust. I only faced the 3 year old. Most kids don't need a weight limit before a booster, so I would like the seat to be 50 lbs rearfacing. 4. Harness pads! They are so grippy that they don't get into weird places around your baby's neck. They move up and down with ease. 5. Is it easy to clean the fabric? Yes! The seat was still comfortable on a 90 degree day, even though the spit up had been wiped up with a damp rag. 6. Are there recline positions? This is the easiest seat to pick a recline position for, you have so many options no matter how weird the slope of the back seat is. You can recline a bit when FF because it guarantees some sleepy dust for younger kids. The sensor is the last one. I was reassured that the baby would never be left in the car on a hot day because it was so easy to use. Setting up the sensor took just a couple of minutes and the app is easy to use. It should be on every seat.

👤This is a great seat. I bought it for the SensorSafe feature, and it hasn't had any problems. Whenever you turn off your car, the sensorsafe will chime to remind you that you have a child in there. I think it's great. The alert system is constantly malfunctioning. My husband was getting notifications on his phone that my daughter was left in the car when I was at Target. The buckles weren't engaged. The alert did not stop. I had to take the app off my phone to stop it. I tried again after I reinstalled it. It will do the same thing every now and then. It gives me useful information. If the clip is unbuckled, my car is too hot. I ran into a store to find out that my child had been abandoned while my husband and children were in the car with my baby. The device is dependent on the phone proximity of the person who set up the account. It is a great idea, but it can drive you crazy. The car seat is great.

👤This seat is beautiful. My 5 month old is very comfortable when we are going, and the lighter color makes me think he isn't as hot as he could be. It was difficult to install the first time, but it was worth it. It would be easier after we were used to it. My husband pressed it in as hard as he could, but he didn't think it was tight enough. I brought it to the car-seat tech because of his concerns and she said it was fine. Make sure you check the base's tightness, but don't think it's unsafe. The release button is not easy to reach to extend the straps. It's easier to pull it tight with practice, but it's hard to pull up and straight with the seat-back of the van in the way. They go in and out without a hitch. Once the straps are tight, thebumpers seem very comfortable for my son. The leg straps sit on his thighs in a funny way, but the car-seat tech assured me it is safe. The straps don't cross his hips because they connect to the seat lower than I'm used to. It's hard to tighten without making sure I tighten his lap and shoulders. Again, a learning curve with this seat. The magnetic attachment for the straps is a neat feature, but not always practical, as it is hard to see where it is on the far side. The more I use the seat, the more memory I'll make for that feature. My son is comfortable, cool, and safe, and he loves to ride.

7. Disney Baby Convertible Mouseketeer Minnie

Disney Baby Convertible Mouseketeer Minnie

Kids can ride longer with extended use. Rear facing 5 40 pounds and forward facing 22 50 pounds. Side impact protection. The seat pad is safe to use in the dryer. 5 point harness with adjustment. 6 harness heights and 3 buckle locations allow for the best fit for growing children. 6 harness heights and 3 buckle locations allow for the best fit for growing children.

Brand: Disney

👤It is a nice seat. It is not for everyone. This car seat is different because it is not designed to fit the height and weight requirements that it claims are impossible. My daughter is only 25.5 inches tall and her head is already at the top of the car seat shell. She is 14 months old and has 18 pounds on her, she doesn't sit comfortably in it, she is all slumpy looking in the seat. The mickey/Minnie design is cute, but there is not a lot of cushion for accident protection, so go with a better car seat.

👤I haven't installed it yet, so I'm only giving it a 3 star. The bright red appears to be the same color as the orange red. There isn't a Mickey on the bottom right. The seat cover has labels sewn on it. The box says it was made in America. Booster says it was made in China. The product says Doral isn't anywhere. I know Dorel is the owner of cosco. Is this a true Disney product or a knock off? It seems like it's not right. Where is the signature? Don't advertise Made in America if it's clearly assembled in America. If it is not a counterfeit that is unsafe, it is worth the price, but it is not as advertised. I contacted Doral. The seat is genuine. Customer service is very professional. I did not have to ask for the wrong cover. She told me it would arrive by the end of the week. According to Doral, the seat feels flimsy because it is made to move during a crash to absorb pressure rather than the child. It makes sense. Customer service gets a rating. There was an update on December 16. I have had many phone conversations with Doral. According to customer service, the Mickey signature car seat padding has been discontinued. I make it for the APT 40. I don't know why they discontinued it for one size car seat. Customer service still gets a five star rating from me. They sent a car seat pad. It was the same as the one on the original car seat. They said they would send a gift for my grandson. They said it would take about two weeks. If you order a APT 50 carseat, your pad will not have Mickey written on the bottom right corner. 12/18: I wanted to keep this seat, but I had to fit it to my 34 inch. The grandson's shoulder straps were set at second from top. As he grows, I tried them at the highest set, but couldn't get the straps to reach the anchor to connect on the back. I was able to get them connected, but there is not a way to fit an older child in the seat. I tried to see if wrong straps were sent, but have not heard back. We wanted to use this seat in our grandparents car as he grows. It won't work with these short straps. I am a nurse so I have a lot of experience managing things. They sent a gift for my grandson who had been through a lot. It was a baby toy. I don't want to sound thankless, but he is 2 don't patronizing your custamers. The shell is made in the use, but Doral has some work to do on the seat. It works for some, but not in 6mo. It's not as advertised.

👤My daughter is very fond of this car seat. She says it is very comfortable and she can be in it for a long time. I love that it has an anchor system. That was a big selling point for us. It is very easy to install. 10/10

👤It wouldn't be good for long trips to hard.

👤I thought I was getting something huge and bulky when I saw the size of the picture. My son's old car seat takes up more space than this one. It saved space in my car. I am very happy I bought this. The safety that they have puts my mind at ease when I drive.

👤Safety straps need to be attached to the car seat. The seat moves a lot when you get in and out.

👤There was no way to open the package. I am not sure if I can install without that critical piece.

👤The cup holder was broken when my kid hopped on my back seat. I don't want to use this because it's a safe car seat.

9. LiteMax Infant FreeFlow Fabric SafeZone

👤My baby is due in July, so I know what a good car seat looks like. It is light and has higher end features. The weight was one of the reasons I chose it. The no thread shoulder straps and the stand are nice. It is nice looking and has good quality.

👤We were in an accident. The baby was in a car seat. He had a bruise on his neck. During the crash, this car seat kept him safe. I am replacing it with the same product.

👤This car seat was very disappointing. The seat is too narrow. The sides are raised and narrow, making it difficult to put the child in or out of the seat. I would love to return the seat. The money was wasted.

👤Light weight and easy to install. I am confident that my baby is safe in this car seat.

👤I'm a mom of three and have experience with car seats and their installation. The difference between walking away from a car accident and not walking away from a car accident is dependent on the installation and usage of the car seat. I am serious about car seat safety with my kids. I was very excited to find out the base has a load leg. This is a great feature for an American-made car seat. A load leg is a metal support pole that rests on the floor of a vehicle, and is not something you are familiar with. The load leg helps minimize crash forces on a baby in a crash. It allows the child restraint's safety system to absorb crash energy efficiently and transfer forces more effectively by directing them to the vehicle floor. A load leg protects your baby during a crash. The load leg was easy to put in after reading the instructions. When it is in the correct position on the floor, it will show green on the level indicators. It takes some maneuvering to make sure that both green signs are visible. The load leg is a huge safety benefit. The installation was easy. The seat-belt install method is used by me. My baby loved the plush fabric on the insert. The mesh fabric will be a huge benefit because it gets really hot in the Spring and Summer. The midnight slate color of the car seat is great for hiding stains. She loved the fact that this headrest gave her a stable, safe position for her head, and she also loved the fact that it gave her more room to move her head around. Every parent wants the easy-no-thread harness. The back of the car seat is easy to read. The straps can be moved into the correct position by squeezing the two buttons on the front of the car seat. The harness clip in the front has a small reminder notice for parents and caregivers. My husband mentioned that it was easy to pick up the carseat with our baby in it, and that it was much lighter than other car seats. It was difficult to take off the chest clip, but that was my only fault. It took me a bit longer to remove my baby from the harness clip. You can adjust the waist strap position to fit your baby's hip area, which is cool. This protects your baby against the straps so that he has a snug fit. I have never seen a car seat with this feature before. This is an extremely safe car seat and has a lot of features. I would like to thank the product testing panel for giving me the product to try out.

👤I bought this seat on Prime day sale a few months ago. When my toddler went with his grandparents, I bought a second car seat for him. We loved it so much that it became his primary seat. The low profile fits perfectly in our car and we always found ourselves getting my son into it. The seat is so flexible that we love it. It is much more comfortable than our other seat, and my son can easily fall asleep in it. The cup holders are garbage. My kid can remove them with ease. If you absolutely need snack holders, it's something to consider, since we solved this by removing them completely and flipping down the car's center seat cup holder. This was the perfect purchase.

👤My husband and I tried to install this in 2 different cars, first the seat belt and then the anchors, because our friend who is an obsessive car seat researcher suggested this to us. We were never able to get it installed in a secure location. We tried the rolled towel that is recommended in the instructions, but there was no dice. We're supposed to base the car seat's security on a towel. You're going to see the video I posted and say, "she just doesn't have the anchor straps tight." The straps were tight and it didn't make a difference. It's like... The angles are off. The cup holders have to be installed according to the manual. Which is fine, they were, but what if our kid pulls one out and throws it out the window on the freeway? Is it necessary to throw the car seat away? The instructions book and online installation videos are very basic, and I found some flaws in the video, such as the anchor strap being slack, but you can clearly see that the woman is trying to move the car seat back and forth. Fishy! If you want to try this for the price, but be honest about whether it is too loose, you should return it.

👤We've never had a better carseat. Function and beauty in one. The one-handed head rest adjustment is the best feature, it allows the shoulder straps to go up and down with no rethreading. Easy removal of the newborn piece. Instructions are on both sides of the seat, which makes it easy to place a height stand. My baby is 1.5 years old and 25 lbs., so there is plenty of time and space to grow into the seat.

👤The seat is flimsy and there is little room for sitting.

👤When I say I like this car seat, I could go into detail. I will keep it short. The seat is worth something. You get a lot for what you pay. Not everything is top tier comfort and quality. This is not a premium seat. It passes all of the safety requirements. It was easy to use. If you are a first time parent, I highly recommend you look for certified car seat educators in your area to make sure you are using the right seat for your child.

Britax Allegiance Stage Convertible Static

Installation of a car seat is easy because of the push button latch connectors and built in lock offs. No rethreading, ever: Quick adjust 10 position harness with headrest grows along with your child. Remove the car seat cover without removing the harness. Side impact protection, steel frame, impact absorbing base, and forward movement are designed for safety. It fits. The rear facing 5 to 40 pounds and the forward facing 20 to 65 pounds are 26 x 18 x 21 inches. It fits. The rear facing 5 to 40 pounds and the forward facing 20 to 65 pounds are 26 x 18 x 21 inches.

👤The seat is FAA approved, but can't be used with a seatbelt. The seat is designed so that the belt goes between the plastic shell and the cushion, which means that the seatbelt installation cannot be done when the baby is in the carseat. The plane buckle ends up under the baby's back or bottom. No way around it. I tried different types of aircraft from 2 different companies, but nothing worked. This is a design flaw for a seat that is approved by the FAA. It hasn't been tested for airplane travel.

👤I returned my Extend2fit because I couldn't get my daughters straps to fit against her chest. The carseat is easy to adjust. The straps loosen and tighten just as easily with the simple press of the lever. After fighting with the Extend2Fit, it was a relief to know that it was not right. The manual says to be reclined all the way into the third position for rear facing, which was ridiculously easy just like everything else about this seat, so ignore the review that says "does not recline", because the "recline" bar is bright red and says "RECLINE" The best thing about this carseat is that it doesn't have to be threaded at babys shoulders. The back of the seat has a panel that clicks up and down to adjust the height of the straps. It could not be any harder. I had to remove the gray flexible chest straps because my daughter is small and they couldn't fit against her belly. The booklet said that they were designed for when your child is forward facing, as they are an extra shock absorbing safety feature. The seat is easy to adjust, and as a mother I feel more confident that my daughter will be safe in it. I would have gotten this instead if I had known what I know now, because I would have wasted time looking for a sale price on that one.

👤My son is 1.5 years old and I have used the Britax Allegiance with him since day one, and now use it for my daughter. These car seats are very easy to install. I used a Gracco car seat at the in-laws when we were there and it was very cheap and not very sturdy. The only way Britax could improve on this car seat is if they made it recline at more of an angle for infants. When we brought the children home from the hospital, they were almost sitting upright because there was not enough angle. These car seats are not included.

👤This carseat is so exciting! Love the cushion behind the seatbelt. It was easy to install.

👤We love our Britax car seats. Our kids are comfortable in them and we don't worry about their safety when using them. They fit into all of our vehicles, from our small sedan to minivan.

👤I own 5 britax car seats for my 6 grandsons and will only buy this brand in the future. I have ever bought a car seat that was the safest and most durable.
