👤I read reviews before buying a carseat. I was looking for a seat that was small enough for me to put in my backseat with 2 other carseats as I have 3 small children. The seat is small enough to fit three people across. The lower buckle was a problem because both sides had to be connected before you could snap it into the bottom. I bought it because I didn't think this would be an issue. After using it for a few months, I find it annoying. I will buy a new seat because of it. My son gets bigger and bigger and it's harder to put him in the seat with the lower buckle. I took away a star because of the lower buckle.

👤I thought this was compatible with one of my car seats, but it wasn't. I wanted to use the jogging stroller with my baby until head control was achieved. Purchasing a newborn car seat is necessary. What a waste of money. The baby's head would flop forward if the car seat sat within the stroller. If you can't put an infant in a stroller safely, why would a company make a car seat that is compatible? This is a cheap car seat. I wouldn't trust it in a vehicle. The buttons are difficult to push and the handle is hard to pull forward. I'm not happy with the jogger and car seat investment. Don't buy.

👤It's easy to use, it's easy to adjudt straps, and it's easy to release the child from the base. The handle has a triangle on it, which makes it easier to carry. Dark color hides stains that happen with kids. I've used a lot of different babyseats, this one is great. It has everything I want.

👤I have ever bought a piece of garbage off of the internet. I can't believe the positive reviews of this car seat, especially considering how much it costs compared to very well-made car seats. For about 50 or $60 more, you can get something that lasts longer and is safer for your baby. The visor fell down in your child's face when I took it out of the plastic. The only way to get the car seat in the car is through the two welded buckles in the back of the car seat, there is no safety features presented with his car seat. There is no way to keep the car seat out of your backseat. Thankfully, Amazon was gracious enough to offer us a full refund for the car seat that I sent back, I would definitely not recommend it.

👤It's ok. I think it's a good value for the money. The lining is very hard, but it's a low rating because of the latching system. It becomes difficult to close the lap portion one side at a time with a baby as you have to align the clips together before you can. We bought a new insert for head support.

👤My son likes the safety seat for his baby. The nurses at the hospital said that it was a very good one, and he had no trouble installing it.

👤I am a professional nanny who has done hundreds of car seat installations for a variety of seats and cars and has taken multiple car seat classes. These seats are tanks. They require a few tricks of the trade to install. I was able to get a safe install while nine months pregnant in the Florida summer heat, but I would not recommend this seat if you are going to switch it between cars or have someone unfamiliar with car seat installations transporting your child. My son is two years old and he is in the middle seat of my Honda Civic. I needed a slim seat to maximize back seat usage. I wanted something that would last from newborn to booster. I was excited about the new seat because it addressed some of the issues I had with the previous ones. My baby is in the rear passenger seat. The bar is anti-rebound. The older Dionos have a strap that you attach to the front seat tracks which decreases rotation in a crash, but it can be difficult to set up and leave excess strap laying everywhere. Due to the design of the seats in my car, the anti-rebound bar does not completely brace against the seat, which is why it is supposed to be the replacement. It will not reduce rotation in a crash. There is a My first son was two weeks late and a decent size, so the RXT worked well from birth but would not be ideal for a small baby. The QXT has newborn features that make it great, such as keeping the new baby at a perfect angle and keeping his head from flopping around. The foot attachment at the bottom of the rear seat can slip into the back seat crack to achieve the desired angle, but some vehicles do not have a suitable crack for this to be positioned in. I have a spare seat for my mother's car because it is hard for me to get a safe rear facing install in her car. The issue hasn't been fixed in the new QXT. I am quite happy with the seat so far. My older RXT has held up well. I expect nothing different from this new series. I love that I can have both boys in the back of my little car with me. The seat has passed extensive safety tests and will hold up well in the event of a roll over crash. Give yourself plenty of time to get a safe install after reading the manual and looking up videos online, and be sure to research compatibility with your vehicle.

👤I have purchased four of these seats, one for each grandchild, and a replacement after an accident. This is the seat you want to sit in. The kids that I treated did well. This seat will help absorb the energy from an accident and help to protect your loved one.

👤The wife ordered three overpriced monstrosities for our cars. Installation in smaller vehicles is a nightmare because they weigh 50 pounds. Due to our situation, I will have to take these out and replace them several times a year. I will lose even more time when I have to remove and reinstall them because they have already cost me over 1000 dollars. I have one installed correctly, one that I gave up installing, and one that is still in the box after spending 4 hours. These things will haunt me until my kids grow up. The box they came in was loaded with trendy phrases so I guess it is all good.

👤It was too big. I had to package it back up because it would have eaten the baby alive. It is very soft. It might be better for an older baby.

👤Very comfortable. A lot of padding. Doesn't slip around, stays in place. It's perfect for newborns. It's easy to clean up.

👤I like this little car seat pad. It's soft and can be used in a stroller. The price was great and it was well made. Good quality for the price. The baby is comfortable and soft.

👤I thought making the seat soft and warm would help the baby. I felt better taking him out in the cold weather because he slept easily in this. It's warm. The fuzzy side is not appropriate for warm weather, but I will try the cooler side in the summer. When the seat isn't being used, it does slouch down a little, but it stays in place when the baby is seated, and bonus: I didn't have to disassemble anything! This is easy to fit around the car seat straps.

👤My daughter was 8 ounces. Very small. Without it in the car seat, she would always fall to the side and look uncomfortable. She was still small even with the insert. I added this and removed the original insert. It is a soft downfall and it seems to keep her warm.

👤Love it. My son is over 2 months old and he's over 12 lbs. He will have it for a little while, it's a great size for him. If your baby is a little taller, he/she will still be able to use the headrest. It's cute and cozy for the cold weather. I haven't used that side. I can't wait to use it, but beware if you have to adjust the headrest using the satin side, it will be exposed, and I am assuming that wont be very. I will buy the black one soon.

👤Our hospital wouldn't let us leave because of how big this thing is. I can see why we tried to put our baby in it. I'm worried about using this. You can buy a different insert.

👤The 4Mom swing works well and is much cheaper than Thier insert.

👤I got this for a kid for a road trip and it was one of the best purchases I've ever made. If you have kids that fall asleep in the car often, it gets used a lot. It's very comfortable, the pillow is not attached so the sleeve can be washed. It's soft but supportive and easy to install, it's easy to disassemble or move to another vehicle if you need to, and it's bigger than it looks. I recommend it if you nap in the car or find your seat belt uncomfortable. I got a large one for a kid who was 5 years old at the time. The time when the adults use it.

👤I wanted to love it but didn't. It was great at first, it was used for my son. The pillow and case are not sewn together. The case on the seatbelt was the only thing that kept the pillow in place. It is soft and fluffy, but wished it was one piece.

👤These are great. I needed these because the ones I had in my car seat were short and would slide back, which made it hard for him to push his head forward. They were thick and cumbersome. I reminded them that my boy has a chunk on him. When he would be buckled in, I noticed that his redness was really irritated. These are not thick, but they are soft enough to prevent that belt rash, so if you are looking for something thick and supportive, don't get these. They are long so they don't get pushed back.

👤I have purchased car seat shoulder padding like this before and it was made with a soft foam material and a soft exterior. These are soft on the outside, but they are very special. It almost feels like the manufacturer forgot to add the memory foam and just shipped empty, soft sleeves. I wouldn't recommend it. You can get a product from a different city in China that will send you real soft padding, not just a soft sleeve.

👤I'm not complaining since the price is so low, but the pads on the seat are not as thick as I expected. If that helps anyone, they are a bit thinner than neoprene.

👤My child is 3 years old. The car seat straps are life saving. They hold his head up and don't let it fall from one side to the other. Not to mention, soft! There is no cushion or support in some of the reviews. This was not the case for me. The straps had a cushion and support. Would buy again.

👤After a long road trip, I bought these car seat strap pads because the straps on the travel car seat were getting in my toddler's neck. We were going to deliver them to the vacation condo and put them on the car seat. The velvet is long enough to cover the straps on his shoulders. He sat in his seat for the rest of the vacation after there were no more car seat strap marks on him. They air dry quickly. I'm getting another set for our other car seat.

5. Graco 4Ever DLX Seat Joslyn

Graco 4Ever DLX Seat Joslyn

👤Please read the manual. The first bad review I saw was of a sleeping baby girl with her neck in a bad position because her parents didn't install it correctly. She is small and should be in the rear facing position with the straps below her shoulders, which would mean the headrest would be lower so she wouldn't be in an awkward position. Also, tighten the straps. The installation is hard at the seatbelts. If your baby is 40 lbs or more, make sure to use the seatbelt and avoid LATCH because my son is close to 40 lbs. If you front face, please choose a position that is easy for my son to fall asleep in. When facing forward, make sure the straps are above the shoulders. The nextfit zip is easy to take off and wash, and it is easier to put a baby in the middle seat. The side protection ofChicco makes it a boat, but it doesn't have the bulkyness of Graco Trueshield. I bought 2 and will update my review as time goes on.

👤The baby is not comfortable to sleep in. I was expecting a good all in one car seat for my baby but this is one of the worst purchases I have ever made. I regret buying it because it might hurt my baby's neck. It is too expensive to just get rid of it.

👤The Bryant style was ordered by me. In all of the photos, it is grey, but it is burgundy. It is grey in a customer question. It is not grey.

👤I'm really upset to write this. I like graco. I would caution you against using this car seat. My son is 4 years old and I have a car seat that is facing the other way. Every time he falls asleep, there is limited neck support and he is in pain the next day. Poor guy! The next thing is the safety lock. If the car seat is rear facing, the latch system can be used. The graco car seat can be front facing. I can use the system. Not using the latch system makes me very nervous. I would caution you on those two things. Both safety and comfort. Hope this helps!

👤She was outgrowing her infant seat when she moved out of her old car seat. It was easy to make the adjustments so she could wear it like a glove. The modifications they made to the DLX version are nice, but not necessary. The center strap/button is in a better place to ensure a snug fit and the cover is easier to remove. If your budget is tight, the non-DLX is equally secure and easy to manipulate, even if you have 2 DLX versions.

👤I bought this two weeks ago. It took me a long time to pick a car seat for my son. I read reviews on different car seats. My husband thought it was crazy to spend that much on a car seat. I really like this car seat, so I'm glad I argued. If it gets dirty, it's easy to remove the padding. Just a few clips and boom it off. You can adjust the harness straps by pushing a button and pulling up. Instead of having to take everything apart and put it back together again. I like the extra padding and the seat positions. It's easy to install but it's difficult to uninstall. Some people were complaining about weird noises, but I haven't heard them. I have noticed a few draw backs to this type of car seat since purchasing it. My son is 5 months old and needs a carrier while we're out. I can't put him in a shopping cart, so I'm looking for a small sling or carrier that I can keep in the car for when we're out. The second con I have noticed with this type of seat is that you can't take these out or they aren't supposed to be, unlike the infant carriers that you can carry with you anywhere. There are restaurants. I don't eat out much. I can't put my baby in a restaurant because the car seat is in the car. I have a carrier so I'm looking for a portable high chair for those situations. I couldn't eat until the family was done. Since he was strapped to my chest, I could eat since he wasn't in a sling.

👤Being a first time grandmother, I knew the safest way to get a car seat was to be safe, easy to use, and heavy. I use the middle seatbelt option which seems to be a better option than the anchor ties. The seat belt option secures it very tightly when using the anchor ties, but it seemed too much of a give on left to right for the seat. I was very happy with the purchase.

👤Light weight is easy to use. I love it! I brought this for my daughter because I'm getting ready for a baby. I don't want to pack the heavy ones.

👤The seat is great. There is a Light. It is easy to install and remove, and can be put in a car without a base, which is great for people with two cars and one base. There is a The sun visor is on the handle, not on a separate slider, and it is not comfortable when you slide the seat up to your elbow, which is what my wife and I usually do.

👤The lightweight design, color scheme and use of recycled materials made this product attractive to me. I have been using this car seat for my 2 week old son and I am very happy with it. The seat is comfortable for my baby and the quality is just as good as other brands. It fits in the back of my car. I can easily carry my baby around. If you are looking for a lightweight, eco friendly car seat, I highly recommend it.

👤This is a lightweight product. The sun shade is not nice. You only have one spot to hold on to because it's connected to the handle. You can't carry it with you if you slide it to your elbow. I was tempted to return it.

👤The carseat is nice. I had never heard of the Century brand. I'm glad I ordered it. I love the base. You can level it with a button on the front.

👤I bought the stroller. It was easy to install, and much easier than the carseat I had before. The baby is lightweight. I wish I had bought this carseat for my first.

👤I bought this for my first baby and he really likes it. I will be getting a larger century car seat when he gets bigger because it is easy to use and lightweight. The price is good for new mothers and single parents.

7. Graco Contender Convertible Seat Glacier

👤I wish I could give this seat a 3.5 star rating, but that option doesn't exist, so I went up to a four instead of a three. This car seat has been with us since February of 2016 It's been about 8 months since I wrote this, and it's been one year. When we purchased this car seat for my son, he was just one year old. He is an average sized child. We were in a passenger side impact car accident on the freeway last week and need to replace this car seat because my son was in it when it was side swiped. As I was thinking about what I would like in the next car seat, I thought about some things I don't like about this car seat, as well as some things I like. I thought it would be helpful for people to see my list of pros and cons after using the Condender 65 for over a year and a half. I kept my son safe in the car accident. The five point harness system was still installed tightly and there were no visible signs of damage. It's really affordable. It was cheap, but not cheap quality-wise. I didn't want to spend $300 on a Britax car seat if I could get away with it. I never considered the cup holder when buying a car seat because my son was barely a year old, but it has been great for holding toys, drinks, and snacks. It's easy to clean. The Britax and Chicco convertible models don't have cup holders built in which is a big problem for me. The ones that clip on seem flimsy and I've read a lot of mixed reviews that make those kinds of cupholders seem more an "afterthought" and don't really feel like a part of the seat. My son knows that he would pull them off and throw them on the floor. I read a review where a mom said her child did this for $30 to sit on the floor of their car. It's fairly light without feeling flimsy. It is 15.2 lbs, which sounds right to me. My niece has a Britax Pioneer car seat that is 26 lbs. The "Simply Safe Adjust" harness system at the top of the car seat is very convenient. It's nice to be able to press a button and pull it as your child grows, instead of having to re-thread the straps. It's easy to rethread the buckle. There is no "recline" button, but this could be a pro or con. If you are using the seat for forward or rear facing, you just flip the little wedge at the base of the seat. I never had an issue with it. We used it for both forward and rear facing. The little ball that indicates proper positioning was in the perfect place each time, without any adjustments or boosting in my Honda Pilot. Black straps! They hide the stains and clean them easily. All of the cons are personal preference and convenience issues. I have no doubt that this car seat is safe. It is difficult to move this seat from one car to another. The cheaper 'hook' style of straps are the ones that are used in cars, not the nicer ones that have a button like a seatbelt. They're a problem to get out of. It's a pain and a half to get in and out of my parents' BMW 5 series and my husband's Honda Civic, so I've transferred this from my Honda Pilot to my husband's Honda Civic. I end up sweaty and swearing. It is not helpful that the strap you use to adjust the seat is only on one side, so you have to climb into your vehicle or mess with it. We had to change it twice. When it came out of the box, my son was in the back of the car, and the adjuster was on the left side of the seat. It's more convenient to have the strap on the side of the door. You have to thread the belt through the seat because you can't just pull it out. When my son switched to forward facing, we had to adjust it again. These are the little things that you don't want to waste time on as a parent. If you could adjust the slack/tightness from both sides, it would be much more convenient. The little bar clip with a button that allows you to adjust the latch belt on the one side is very frustrating to use. It does nothing when you press it half the time. It is supposed to let go of its grip on the belt so you can get slack in the belt to remove the latch from the car or tighten it. My friend's car seat has an issue with the latch button. I am not a bad person, but I have lost patience trying and sometimes I have to ask my husband to mess with it. Stains. I have always been too lazy to take the entire cover off and wash it, even though I was positive I could remove the seat after the accident, because I didn't think I could do it. I have never been able to get the stains out of the seat insert with bleach. I wish they were easier to clean because it looks filthy, unfortunately, with a toddler it's unavoidable. I couldn't get the stains out of this seat, so I gave up. We had a seat in Glacier. The gray is shown in a photo. If you remove the lighter gray seat pad, the stains won't show. The little pad has always been left in for comfort. My friend with the same car seat has said that they washed the seat after their daughter had an accident and it took quite some time to dry. She didn't think the fabric would hold up to multiple machine washings. The five point harness that goes over the child is very difficult to use. I had a lot of issues with them not adjusting equally, which is unsafe. The straps seem prone to twisting and making the buckle backwards. The pull strap at the base of the seat can be difficult to pull tight enough. I felt like I would be pulling and yanking and it wouldn't be tight enough, so it drove me crazy. There is no recline handle to adjust the seat's incline. This could be considered a pro or con depending on how you look at it. The most important thing about the Contender 65 is that it kept my son safe in an accident, even though I didn't care for it much. We decided on the 4Ever car seat from Graco because I have faith in them. It fixes most of the "cons" on this list and has all of the features I loved about the Contender 65. I paid $238 for it on Amazon, but the price has fluctuated, and I've seen it as low as $199 on Amazon.

9. Cosco Light Infant Elephant Puzzle

Cosco Light Infant Elephant Puzzle

Rear facing up to 22 pounds. It's easy to carry. The seat pad is safe to use in the dryer. Infant insert has a snugger for small babies. Side impact protection. Side impact protection.

Brand: Cosco

👤I like this. I had an infant seat that was heavy when I had my last baby. My little guy enjoys his time in it because it is so light and easy to carry. The base is easy to install and the seat is easy to use. The sun cover makes a lot of noise, but has done the job thus far! When the seat is behind the driver or passenger, it's a bit cramped in my 2010 Jeep Liberty, so they have to move it almost entirely forward.

👤You get what you pay for. Theawning broke in 2 months and I can't get it to stay on. My baby is barely 5 months old and the straps on her waist/thighs are so tight that she screams from pain and there is no way to adjust them.

👤It is easy to install and detach from the base. If your car has a car seat, you can choose between a seatbelt or both. My kids were going to use it as a carrier, but they decided to use it as a car seat. It's convenient to leave the base and carry on. When ready to go, it clicks back in to the base. They ordered an extra base so they could leave one in each car. Excellent value.

👤It is difficult to install in older model cars.

👤It was bought for our daughter and new baby. It was perfect!

👤The canopy was broken. I can't exchange it without the carseat. I've dealt with it.

👤Para el precio, se ve resistente, ideal para ensamblarlo, la verdad me gust mucho, aparte es un accesorio. No se ve un recistente, pero su funcin.

Brand: Totes Babies

👤I bought this because I do big grocery runs with my baby. The Mesa car seat is similar to the one in the advertisement of this product, and we shop at the pavilion in California. Most grocery store shopping carts aren't that deep, so they used a deep shopping cart in the advertisement of this product. You have to cram a box of cereals under the car seat if you want to. You are not just throwing it into the basket, you are also playing a game of Tetris to get everything to fit. The bags don't fit under it after everything is bought. I will still use it for smaller trips, but it won't solve my problem of being able to run a large grocery store with my baby.

👤I have recommended this to a few other mamas, but haven't reviewed it yet. This won't work with smaller carts from stores like TJ Maxx or Homegoods, but it will work with normal sized carts from the grocery store. It makes shopping so much easier and allows me to make a normal run to the store - my other options are to bring a stroller and try to get all my items in the stroller compartment, push a stroller and a cart or wear my baby in. It's the easiest way for me to run my errand without having to take my baby out of her car seat. It is easy to use and feels safe if you are not trying to rush through an obstacle course or off road in your shopping cart.

👤Not as great as I had hoped. It's pointless for normal carts like Target because it's hard to get things under it. There isn't enough room.

👤This is a great product. I read reviews on the sling style and decided to stick with it. The main reason for the reviews on the babies is that they are too small to hold up their head. If I have to wait until my baby is big enough to have control of their head and sitting, then they can just sit in the front seat of the buggy, which defeats the purpose for me. This allows you to use the same amount of space. You don't have to wake a baby this way. It is easy to install and fit any buggy. I think it would be better if it came with a bag carrying case because it would be easier to slide out on one side if not carried the right way. I just use one of my bags and resolved the problem on my own. Great purchase.

👤When my husband goes back to work, it would be a pain to try to use the stroller and shopping cart, so I decided to give this product a try. We tried out the baby car seat hammock. The cart was small but it worked for Pet Club. I tried the product at the store and it worked great. I am happy with the product so far and can't wait to try it out when I have my own child.

The safety harness has five points. Push-button height can be adjusted. One-hand easy-access seat release. Side impact head protection and soft head support are provided by the foam. A smooth carrying handle won't scratch your arm. A smooth carrying handle won't scratch your arm.

Brand: Baby Trend

👤We used an older version of this seat for the first two children and are about to have a third. It is true that it isn't fancy and the padding isn't as thin as some of the more expensive models, but it is a great value. It is sturdy, well made and will keep my baby safe. It is one of the narrowest car seats on the market, which is important if you are trying to fit 3 carseats in the back row. It is easy to pop the carseat on and off once the base is installed tightly. The handle is triangle shaped and easy to hold at different angles. I am giving it a four because it isn't the best car seat available but it is the best narrow carseat available for the money.

👤The seat doesn't recline very much, so my sons head is buried in his chest. A baby that doesn't have neck control is extremely upright. I have to adjust him constantly because he is too small to travel on long trips. There are better options for a slight increase in price.

👤The triangle handle makes it easy to transfer between carriers. The mount is easy to install. Any firehouse will check it for free if you don't know if it's mounted correctly. If you have twins, these are the best because of the multi hold handle.

👤The car seat is easy to use and my baby seems to like it. He looks comfortable in it. I didn't use the head support because it doesn't seem to help. I used my older one. I can't wait to get the double stroller for it. I am very impressed with the shipping. I ordered this on 12/12/18 and expect it to be on 12/21. It showed up this morning. I open it and see the same thing as in the picture. When I get to use it, I will update review. It also seems safe. It comes with the base and has a harness.

👤Not sure about the foam insert piece or what you're supposed to do with it, it was received today in brand new condition. It had black marks on cardboard and was taped up. The carrier handle is something I like. It's lightweight, the green is a nice color, and the fabric is comfortable with a cushion, it seems like a simple install will update later. I don't know why people are complaining. It's not a big deal if you combine the clip once you're used to it. It's light and baby still fits in it at almost 4 months. I don't care for the triangle carrier part because I have weak arms, everyone but me loves it. If the baby's head isn't sitting right, the base needs to be adjusted or used the boot, and it's very secure with or without it. The baby seems very comfortable as it has done amazing things. The straps don't fit in the carseat and it seems like it's safe. I will be getting a cocorro permanent installed in the car after a month or so after buying this. The foam piece was not important.
