1. Britax Boulevard ClickTight Convertible Spark

Britax Boulevard ClickTight Convertible Spark

As your child grows from baby to toddler, you can switch from rear-facing mode to forward-facing mode. Premium soft touch fabric is easy to clean. You know it's right in 3 easy steps with ClickTight. A patented V-shaped tether helps absorb crash energy. Two layers of side impact protection surround the head, neck and torso. Two layers of side impact protection surround the head, neck and torso.

Brand: Britax

👤I bought a car seat on the day after the Prime Day. I thought it would be a good deal since it was 30% off at that time. The car seat that we currently have is the Slim Fit 3in1 from Graco. The discount was for the Spark color, which does not have a mesh material. I thought it was a new spill-proof material from Britax, but it's just a normal cloth. Other non-Amazon exclusives have a cligh-tight feature. The picture does not show the strap, but once you get it, you will see it is missing. The rubber pads on the chest straps are missing. It seems like the 30% discount was not really a discount, but missing important features that should have been provided in the description. I will be returning this version and possibly getting a full "not-discounted" version which has all I wanted to get from Britax.

👤I feel like I can give it an honest review because I have had it since November. I don't like it. I'm confused by all of the positive reviews. We went from the keyfit clicktight for infants to the one for grandparents, which was easier to use, lighter and more intuitive. The Britax is heavy and hard to adjust the straps. It's not hard to install, but it's still annoyingly hard to get the straps to tighten. I'm thinking about buying a different brand at this point. I haven't tested the actual safety features yet and hope never to. But in terms of how easy it is to use.

👤I decided to finally buy a car seat after 3 kids. It was so difficult to tighten the car seat pull belt that I wanted to throw my car seats out to the street. I and my husband tried to check everything. I decided to get a quality brand. I would have done it sooner. Smooth and easy to loosen. You can feel the quality and rating of the seat immediately. Just get it!

👤I like Britax seats. I have four kids and this is my fourth seat. I was able to use the anti-rebound bar I already had because of this color option.

👤The car seat is great. It's great to move from car to car. We had an infant one that we also had a Diono one. My son seems to be comfortable in it, it is the easiest to install. Is it big? It is tight in smaller cars.

👤I only used it for backward facing. I kept it in the car at all times. It was difficult to install but have nothing to compare it to. Hope it continues to be a good buy since it was very expensive.

👤If you have a baby like me, I need to turn it around. A man. The front set has to be higher. The passenger seat is very uncomfortable.

👤There are great safety features. It's easy to install. We bought this brand for our first and decided to buy it for our second. It is definitely worth the money.

2. Maxi Cosi Mico Infant Seat Sonar

Maxi Cosi Mico Infant Seat Sonar

Up to 32 inches of rear-facing weight. Purecosi fabrics are made without wool and are machine washable and dryer safe. Premium materials provide extra padding with a soft body pillow and harness pads. The extended canopy has a flip-out visor. Infant inserts for babies as small as 4 pounds. Infant inserts for babies as small as 4 pounds.

Brand: Maxi-cosi

👤I love the color. It's nice and soft. I like the material and stretch of the canopy. As the baby grows, it's easy to move the buckles up. I chose it because it came out of the wash without any issues. The way the base releases the seat can be difficult. If you don't lift up quickly enough, it will click back in and you have to have two hands for it. The handle is large. I wish it had some control over it. The canopy clicking is so loud it wakes my baby and he's a good sleep. It doesn't move in a straight line. It's in the way if it's not pulled out, and it also lets a light through. The seat fabric could be more comfortable. The head rest piece is always flopping over. It feels cheap, even though it's lightweight. It's cheaper than the cost. I have five children. We've used a lot of car seats. The chances of us buying it again are very slim, because this was my first time buying this brand. I wish the quality and ease of use was there as well. The crotch buckle has a pad on it. The stupid thing is coming off. I don't know how we have not lost it. It is never in place again.

👤The fabric, comfort, and weight of this car seat are great, but after owning a Britax system it is hard to click into place. Even if you didn't drop the car seat in the right spot, the Britax base was made to guide it into place. The Maxi Cosi is similar to a needle. You have to attach it to the base at the right angle and then listen for a quiet click. I have to bend over and look at each side to make sure it's in the right spot. It's hard to release it with the two grey buttons because they are behind the handle. I thought this would be an upgrade, but we'll keep it for other reasons. It's comfortable, but not practical and easy to use. If you are a first time mom looking for a car seat that is easy to use, look elsewhere. I can tell my husband that I bought this seat.

👤If you have a baby that is too big for a first couple of weeks, it will be too big for you later on. It's just a fact. This car seat is good.

👤I originally bought a graco car seat, but this one is much better. The base is sturdy and it has better head support. The synthetic material gets hot in Florida. My baby can get sweaty. If you live in a warmer area, I wouldn't recommend it.

👤The fabric of the car seat is nice, but the handle is not as good as the chicco seat. The base doesn't have a level indicator and I was surprised to find out that the car seat is a bit heavy. It should be included in most competitors products at this price point.

3. Britax Marathon ClickTight Convertible Verve

Britax Marathon ClickTight Convertible Verve

Easy installation: Patented click tight makes it easy to install a car seat. No rethreading, ever: 14 position harness, 2 position buckle for a comfortable fit as your child grows. The best vehicle installation angle is ensured by the 7 recline positions. A steel frame and impact absorbing base are surrounded in safety. It fits. The shoulder width is 16 inch and the rear facing is 5 to 40 pounds. It fits. The shoulder width is 16 inch and the rear facing is 5 to 40 pounds.

Brand: Britax

👤I was in a car accident with my child in this seat. I am so thankful that she was okay. I ordered the exact same model to replace the one that had been in an accident. My child is 2.5 years old and weighs 35 lbs. Outside of this accident, we really like this car seat. It's easy to get her in and out. It was difficult to clean after she vomited in it, but I washed it and ran it through a spin cycle in my washer to help it dry quicker. I bought the liner pad to keep the seat clean and keep the yucky stuff out of the tiny crevices. We haven't tested that theory yet. We have put this seat in a lot of cars, including a Mazda 6, a VW Passat, a Honda Odyssey, and more. In smaller cars, the front passenger seat has to be moved up a lot to accommodate this seat while rear-facing, which has worked great in all of them. One way to get it out of a car is to unbuckle the seat belt. If you liked my review, please vote for me.

👤We bought this car seat because we think Britax is very good. The seat is too small for our toddler. The straps are too short and they get caught on something inside the seat. The straps are already too short, so this makes the strap lengths even. Even though we have removed padding, the crouch area is still very tight. We paid more money for this seat than other people did. I assumed my son would be able to use it for at least a year if the product information said 65 pounds.

👤The carseat is great. The harness Buckle between the legs is very short and requires you to loosen and tighten the straps each time you put your child in. It's worth it to me because of the safety ratings, and I can live with that. I was expecting that my 14 year old child would be comfortable in the small car we have, but he seems to be. You can get the clicktight too tight. I had a strap that was too tight so I almost couldn't un-click it. We were good to go once we loosened the strap and pressed down on the seat. It is very secure and in the perfect position, but it has a little learning curve at first.

👤The model was changed from 4 stars to 1 after a year of use. It is unsafe and mad. The belt component and its clips on this model are aweful. I almost got a hernia when I tried to loosen the belt to get the car seat out of my car. The car seat is coming apart three weeks after the warranty expired. The Britax car seat we have is not very good.

👤This seat is not even close to safe, even though it is based on safety ratings. Three separate Britax marathon seats have fallen apart at the sides. The two plastic side pieces are supposed to be connected, but within a few months one or both sides become loose. I called and email britax and they agreed it was a safety concern and replaced the seats. Customer service is great. I am terrified to use this seat since the same thing happens to each seat.

4. Maxi Cosi IC243BLK Maxi Cose Cosi Keeper

Maxi Cosi IC243BLK Maxi Cose Cosi Keeper

The pacifier is kept in a pouch to be safe while not being used. There are two small pockets outside. You can use with your Mico Max 30, Mico 30, Mico NXT and your MICO AP. Attaches to any infant car seat. Attaches to any infant car seat.

Brand: Maxi-cosi

👤Too small for use. You can't put anything in this pouch. It looks bigger than it is. It's useful to hold the pacifier.

👤This is what I got, it's completely different and small. I read the reviews before buying so I know it's only good to hold pacifiers. Still happy with it!

5. Maxi Cosi Modern Diaper Essential Black

A better fit can be achieved with a 7-position, one-hand adjustment. The seat stays in place with a rigid LATCH attachment. The guides for the shoulder and lap belt are easy to use. The guides for the shoulder and lap belt are easy to use.

Brand: Maxi-cosi

👤We took our grandson with us on the 3000 mile car trip. He was very comfortable the whole time. It's easy to convert to a booster chair. It's very easy to install. Even after a seven-year-old sat in it, ate and drank in it, and did homework, it was still clean.

👤This is a great boost. My daughter says it's comfortable. I like that it reclines. She likes the cupolder. It has good safety ratings. I've owned a number of cars, including a Pria 85, two Pria 70's, and a Maxi Cosi MICO 30. It has an easy to remove cover for washing, and the back comes off to use as a backless booster.

👤We only use maxi Cosi for our little ones. I love how it has a safety feature. I hated that it smelled terrible. It made my car smell bad and I didn't know it. I had to clean it. I don't know what chemical they use but it can't be safe.

👤There is no dislike for this company or their products. These are the easiest to install, clean, and I can't say enough good things about this company without making a fool of myself, but graco got nothin' on this company. It's looove. This is a car.

👤We bought this for our grandson. He feels more grown up thanks to a regular child seat. My husband says it was easy to install. Our grandson is able to get into the seat. It looks good in the car.

👤We have a brand name booster. We have had some issues. The seat belt is difficult to buckled because of the base being too large. This is the reason I ordered this product. I used it for about a week and found that it did better than the name brand. This is still a harness. My car harnesses hold the unit. It's nice not to have the seat shift when my kids are getting in. The seat covering doesn't come off frequently. It's attached securely. I find it hard to keep the covers on when I get in the car. The seat is firm and my kids are happy with it. The color combination is perfect. There is no more hot seat. The entire seat is sturdy and looks good. This two piece convertible is pretty much what I like about it.

👤Arrives fully assembled! If you open it up, read the manual and install, there will be no work needed. The booster seat in the vehicle can't be interfered with by the vehicle headrest. If the vehicle's headrest cannot be removed or re-positioned to allow the Rodifix to fit the vehicle seat back without a gap, the seat may be incompatible in that seating position or your vehicle. The shoulder strap can't come out of the belt guide if the lock on the Maxi-Cosi Rodifix is not changed. I have had an issue with the high back booster seat. There are recline settings that are only for installation and not adjustment. The side wings can be adjusted to two different sizes, but the margin is small and could make a difference for your child. Hold the side wings and push them out until they lock into position with a click. Lower Anchors are bright yellow and easy to install.

7. Britax One4Life ClickTight All One

Britax One4Life ClickTight All One

A new one4life convertible to booster car seat can be used for 10 years. You'll know it's right in the first three steps. One4life converts from a rear facing infant car seat to a forward facing 5 point harness. The crumple zone helps absorb crash energy and the v-shaped tether is patented. Two layers of side impact protection surround the head, neck and torso. Two layers of side impact protection surround the head, neck and torso.

Brand: Britax

👤The car seat came out just in time, I have been looking for it. I wanted an extended rear facing car seat that was up to 50 pounds, as I have read that rear facing is best for little ones. I wanted the seat to be convertible to a front facing and booster seat so I wouldn't have to use multiple car seats over the years. There is a I wanted it to be safe. I narrowed it down to the nextfit max, graco extend2fit, and this car seat because they all have the booster option. The graco extend2fit would have been my choice if the seat hadn't come out. This car seat is the winner over the graco. There is a The installation is easy. I don't have to worry about messing with the latch, and I only have to close the click tight panel under the seat once I put the seatbelt across. My mom sat in it and was impressed by how comfortable it was. I was worried that it wouldn't fit in my car because of the extended rear facing seat. I was expecting a front seat passenger but there is still room for a passenger in the front seat. If it's in your budget, stop searching and get this car seat today. The safety of my child is worth it even though it is on the pricier side. It is worth the investment when I consider that the seat will last 10 years, and that I spend more time eating out than I did on the seat, it puts things in perspective. If it was helpful, please give this review a thumbs up.

👤I have removed a star for lack of comfort. Without a pull-up on but with the Britax Seat saver in use, my son started complaining about his bottom hurting and the seat being too hard about 25 minutes into the ride. I put my hand on the seat cushion and felt a bar under the seat cushion. The cushion isn't padded enough. That is not comfortable! This is very upsetting for a seat like this. The manual storage location is stupid. It is under the seat cushion behind the child's back, making it more difficult for the child to sit on. It would get torn up from all the moving around of the child. I don't like storing it in my glovebox. It should be with the seat. The only RF seat that has a shell tall enough for my son, who is only in the 75th percentile for height, is this one. I liked the harness straps, but now they seem to be falling apart. I'm going to keep an eye on this. There is a lot on this seat that needs to be improved. I'm very disappointed that there is no anti-rebound bar for this seat. The seat was shown with the anti-rebound bar, which was supposed to be used for a leg rest. The anti-rebound bar was not mentioned when the seat was released. An ARB might be available at some point, according to the company. Not good enough. Britax states the importance of the ARB and then releases a seat that doesn't have one. The seat cover doesn't fit the headrest. I've talked to someone else who has this seat and it's the same as mine. There is a lot of foam around the top of the seat. I don't like it. All. . It seems like it's too easy for the foam to be damaged. The headrest is moving a lot. This seems odd to me. It doesn't fit in the seat shell. I hear it rattle when my son moves his head. It seems like it should be better for the price. This seat is quite wide. I measured at the cupholders. Since we don't have any other passengers in the back seat, it does fit in my small car. The cupholders are easy to remove. It would be dangerous for the driver to have cupholders launched around the vehicle if they pulled them out and thrown them around by a young child. The seat requires the child's head to be below the shell, which is confusing. I don't like ambiguous rules for car seats, though I know a lot of them have this rule. I'm going to talk to a tech about how to measure that. My son is 42" tall and is 4 years old, so he seems to fit well in it. We finally found a seat that he can use to max out rear-facing in height or weight, because he has such a long torso. We already had a seat he could forward face in, so hopefully the rule won't affect that. I've only allowed my son to sit in the seat with a pull-up on so far, and I'm concerned the crotchbuckle is too short, which could cause him to break his crotch. I will find out if the Britax Seat Saver will be comfortable for him without a pull-up. The seat was easy to install. This is the only seat I've tried that is easy to install. It installed more evenly than any of the others I've tried. I like that the seat cover is machine washable, but I haven't tried removing it yet. It's machine dryable, which is great, but I will probably try not to dry it to help with longevity. The seat is quite tall. I have to have it on the second-to-last recline in order to be able to see out my window. The comfort of the seat, ease of installation, and height of the shell are the big winners here. The straps are easy to tighten and I like them. I leave the straps and unbuckle to get my son in and out so I don't have to tighten it all the time. The anti-rebound was supposed to be available. The ARB is more important with bigger kids since they have more force. There are some things that need improvement on this seat, but there are also some great things about it. I don't think we will keep this seat. The Nuna Exec comes with an anti-rebound bar and is easy to install, so we might end up with it.

8. Graco SlimFit Convertible Seat Darcie

Graco SlimFit Convertible Seat Darcie

Your child can grow from a rear-facing harness to a highback booster in a 3-in-1 car seat. The seat is 10% slimmer because of the dual cup holders that rotates away. A combination of the most rigorous crash tests helps to protect your little one in crashes. The harness and headrest can be adjusted in one motion. The safest fit for your child is to choose the perfect height for their headrest. The recline helps for a better installation. Push-button In Right LATCH has an audible click to help ensure secure installation.

Brand: Graco

👤We were in a car accident at 60mph. A 2 year old child walked away from an accident after biting his tongue. He was thankful for the protection this seat gave him.

👤I've been wanting to get a second car seat for a long time. I went to the local stores to try out the Slim Fit after seeing the price drop. The Slim Fit and the Milestone are both on sale at Walmart for the same price. My primary car seat is a Graco 4Ever. Both the SlimFit and Milestone have the same features. My daughter and I chose Slim Fit because of the two cup holders. The seat is very comfortable. There is a good amount of cushion in the head and butt area. Ours has been in use for several years and feels more comfortable than the 4Ever. The beams are reinforced with steel like the 4Ever, but they are not as thick or wide. The SlimFit is a bit lighter because of this. The in Right latch system is a must have for the Slim Fit. The installation is easy, but the in Right belt is a bit harder to get as snug as I want. That could be because it is brand new. The harness adjusts when you raise and lower it. The seat is a bit larger than the 4Ever. I am testing out the Slim Fit in my Mazda CX-5 and I feel like there is more room for passengers than when I have the 4Ever in the same place. There are only 4 "recline" positions. I would like to see 5. The 4Ever has two recline positions just for forward facing, which is a plus. It's a little more comfortable with the added recline. The SlimFit is definitely comparable to the 4Ever. If you can purchase below retail, I would recommend it. There was a photo added for asthetic comparison.

👤Ok. All of the pictures should be forgiven. Seeing comparison pictures of new car seats helped me make my decision. We are getting a new car seat. I drive a small car, the 2015 crosstrek from the Subaru line. If I could do it all over again, I would buy a minivan that we didn't need and I wouldn't want a teenager sitting in the back for family outings. The seat is a bit slimmer on the slimfit due to the lack of armrest and cup holders. The back and headrest are the same on both seats, but the back of the slimfit is a solid panel as opposed to the extend2fit with an open back. Both of these differences are functional and mearly. The recline option is the same, the padding is the same, and the wonderful sliding headrest to adjust height is the same. The water under the bridge made it difficult for me to get the latch through the rear pass. The seat is heavy and not a good choice if you want to carry your car seat through the airport or move it on a regular basis. I don't like the fact that the infant seat insert is not included, there are a lot of cracks in the fabric and it is hard to get gummy snacks out of it. The seat is sturdy and well built, which is a bonus since I won't need another car seat for the kids down the road. It is nice. Installation was ok. 10/10 would buy again.

9. Maxi Cosi Coral Infant Essential Graphite

A more comfortable, intimate and lightweight carry is possible with the revolutionary 3-piece modular nesting system. There are four modes of carry: cross-body carry, handle carry, standard carry and stroller carry. PureCosi fabrics are made without wool or fire retardant treatment and are machine washable and dryer safe. PureCosi fabrics are made without wool or fire retardant treatment and are machine washable and dryer safe.

Brand: Maxi-cosi

👤I like the features it shows but it's frustrating to remove the inner shell from the baby in it. It will be so frustrating if you are in a rush and trying to get the inner shell out. The car seat is heavy. The cross body strap is too large for a short mom. I like the concept but it is not for everyone. I returned it.

👤I had a baby at 33 weeks. She fit perfectly into this car seat when she came home. If you want to cover baby up, you have to buy a cast seat cover or canopy separately.

👤The car seat has no recline. The seat is too upright and my baby's head always falls forward. It ends up being very upright because it has an extra carrier that fits into the other piece. For a young infant, you want them to be strong so they don't fall backwards and not be able to breathe. I can not fit a second seat in my double stroller because it takes up too much room, so I don't like how it sits on my baby jogger stroller. I like the fact that it has a lighter carrier, but it doesn't have a visor, so the sun gets in your baby's eyes. You have a heavy car seat if you need to carry the visor part. I wasn't impressed.

👤I have it side by side with the NUNA Pipa RX Infant Car seat. It appears my baby is more comfortable and relaxed in this, the canopy is bigger and the 3-module structure makes it easy to detach the top inner carrier, which is light, not bulky and easy to carry. You can't go wrong with this seat.

👤We were drawn to the idea of a light carrier with a strap, and the fact that the base should include a load leg, a feature that should be included in every car seat. We had to return the seat because it was so short. We wouldn't trust it with our baby. The US car seat regulations are not as strict as those in Europe, and it is frustrating when European manufacturers choose to supply the US market with inferior bases to cheap out on the ignorant. The seat is secured to the base by only a single point and has a significant amount of give, which leaves it bouncing up and down as you drive, and that's before accounting for the additional slack between the inner-carrier and flimsy shell carrier. The seat cushion is not good. The material feels cheap and lacks newborn support. The only positive of this seat is that it has aremovable carrier, but that's not enough to make up for the lack of safety and security your child deserves.

10. Maxi Cosi Pria All Convertible After

Maxi Cosi Pria All Convertible After

The all-in-one convertible car seat has a maximum weight of up to 100 pounds in booster mode. Side impact protection technlogy with GCell protects your child's head where it's needed most in a side impact crash. The harness holders keep the straps out of the way. Easy click-in for better installation is what the LATCH system has. The QuickFit shoulder harness raises the height. The QuickFit shoulder harness raises the height.

Brand: Maxi-cosi

👤Since 2007, we have used Maxi Cosi for all of our children. Due to a car accident, we had to replace the Pria 85 for our last two littles. The seats performed well during the accident, and my 3 month old stayed asleep through the whole thing. After an accident, car seats must be replaced. We decided to try the new 3 and 1 because we thought it would be an upgrade. It is not. It feels nice with all the padding, but as soon as you remove it, there's almost no comfort left. You can see the curve of the plastic frame underneath the cover. I would have had to replace all of our sippy cups if we had kept the seat. We couldn't get it mounted properly in our large expedition because of the two other things. We ordered the Pria Max 85 direct from Maxi Cosi at a sale price of $220 each, and returned them almost immediately. That seat is a thousand times better than this one. Better quality fabric, better comfort, more stable infant inserts, magnetic chest clips, and an appropriate sized cup holder are some of the things that have been improved.

👤The seat is hard to tilt when a child is sleeping. We had a cosi for three years and thought aboutUpgrading, but I'm going to return it and go back to the old seat. My daughter's head is falling forward.

👤My daughter is 6 months old and she is in a car seat. I was worried that it wouldn't fit in my car. It was fine. The passenger seat has to be completely forward so no one can sit there. The car seat is beautiful. It was very comfortable for my daughter. I would highly recommend them because of how safe and secure they are.

👤Oh my good fortune. My son is happy in this seat. It is safe and comfortable for him. So happy! He is 11 months old and dislikes travel. He will sometimes fall asleep in the car because of this seat.

👤I really wanted to use this seat. There were a few things that I noticed when I put my boys in it. The fabric was nice and the boys seemed to be comfortable in it. The seat is very deep. I am not sure that would work for my son. The main issue that I noticed during this initial fitting was that the buckle was very cheap and it almost had sharp edges that could potentially dig into their skin. The straps were thin and other reviewers had complained about it. The car seat was light for its size and made me wonder if it was safe during a side impact collision. I still liked the seat despite this being a deal breaker. Installation was the problem, which is why I returned it. There is a If I only needed this as a forward facing car seat, I could keep it, but I need it rear facing for at least another year as my boys are 11 months old and weigh 20 pounds. The car seats are great, but Rear facing is terrible, and it would have made it a great forward facing seat for them. It didn't fit in my car. I own a Toyota Highlander and it should not have been a problem. I had to move my seat. The seat was easy to install, but my husband couldn't get it tight enough. You could press a finger on the back of the car seat and the base would flip so that the head of the car seat was touching the head of the highlander. This is a huge problem. If we had been a collision, the seat could flip forward with my child in it. We couldn't refuse to do this no matter what we tried. We read the manual multiple times and tried to adjust it. It wouldn't fit. It wouldn'tlatch down correctly. It is going back! I have the Britax Marathon, Britax Emblem and Graco 4ever. I will try to find one that works, but sadly it is not.

👤It is cute and warm. My baby loves it and never complains. He falls asleep in the car. He was never a fan of cars.
