Evenflo Nurture Infant Seat Carine

The canopy provides full protection from the sun, wind and rain. The handle is easy to carry. A separate, stay-in-car base is needed for easy transition of an infant carrier in and out of a vehicle. Extra bases are sold separately. If you don't have a base, install a seat even without it. A 5-Point Harness is used to hold your child's body securely. 👤I will say that I don't need the most expensive items. The off brand is just as good as the high end brand most of the time. The car seat is awful. If you just need a car seat for an extra car, or maybe grandma/grandma, this will probably be the seat for you. This is not the seat for you if you need to put it in and out of the car frequently. I gave this car seat an extra star because of the price and the fact that it is not your everyday seat. The design of the fabric is cute and cheap, but the seat feels like it was made out of cheap plastic. The Canopy is not big enough and won't stay on. Baby will eventually be able to grab and pull off on their own, but this is the worst seat release I have ever seen in a car seat. You have to tilt the seat forward to get it out of the base. Imagine doing this with a newborn, or a sleeping baby. Not compatible with any universal stroller. Good luck if you need a stroller for this car seat.

👤The cheapest car seat we could find is this one. We don't have any complaints with it. It is easy to use and the baby is comfortable in it. There is no need to spend a lot of money.

👤I bought this carseat in December and thought it was a good deal. My daughter just got out of the NICU after being born in January. The car seat's straps are almost impossible to adjust and one of them was twisted when we bought it, so there is no way to fix it. The strap on the car seat was twisted so the NICU wouldn't let us leave. We had to buy another car seat just to take our daughter home after we sat there for over an hour while my daughter was crying trying to figure out how to fix it. I can't use a car seat that cost this much and I'm pretty annoyed. Since it's been more than 30 days, I'm assuming that's not an option, but we should be able to return something that was installed wrong.

👤Being a young mom with money that needs to be saved, I love this car seat. It is perfect for an infant, the only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have very good head support, but you can buy a cheap head support for $10-$14 which is great, you don't have to worry about it.

👤I love this product but it's purple and I thought it was pink, but it's not, it's a great car seat, but it needs more head support, it's cheap, and my child looks great on it, but it's not a great car

👤I bought an extra cushion for head and back support, but it is so hard that it doesn't help. The fabric is as thin as a bed sheet. The piece at the bottom bulges into the back of the baby. I gave this as a Christmas gift so my son could have an extra seat. I wish I had known. The manufacturer needs to make this more comfortable for the little babies.

2. Graco 4Ever DLX Seat Joslyn

Graco 4Ever DLX Seat Joslyn

You can use a 4-in-1 car seat for 10 years, which means you can change it from rear-facing harness car seat to forward-facing harness car seat, highback belt-positioning booster, and backless belt-positioning booster. In crashes, the Protect Plus helps to protect your child. Simply Safe Harness System adjusts the height of your harness and head rest to 10 positions in one motion to make sure that your child is always secured. Your child will be comfortable on your many journeys with 6-position recline. The In Right LATCH attachment provides an easy one-second attachment with an audible click to help ensure secure installation. The belt lock-off is easy to install. The RapidRemove cover can be removed in 60 seconds without removing the seat. The RapidRemove cover can be removed in 60 seconds without removing the seat.

👤Please read the manual. The first bad review I saw was of a sleeping baby girl with her neck in a bad position because her parents didn't install it correctly. She is small and should be in the rear facing position with the straps below her shoulders, which would mean the headrest would be lower so she wouldn't be in an awkward position. Also, tighten the straps. The installation is hard at the seatbelts. If your baby is 40 lbs or more, make sure to use the seatbelt and avoid LATCH because my son is close to 40 lbs. If you front face, please choose a position that is easy for my son to fall asleep in. When facing forward, make sure the straps are above the shoulders. The nextfit zip is easy to take off and wash, and it is easier to put a baby in the middle seat. The side protection ofChicco makes it a boat, but it doesn't have the bulkyness of Graco Trueshield. I bought 2 and will update my review as time goes on.

👤The baby is not comfortable to sleep in. I was expecting a good all in one car seat for my baby but this is one of the worst purchases I have ever made. I regret buying it because it might hurt my baby's neck. It is too expensive to just get rid of it.

👤The Bryant style was ordered by me. In all of the photos, it is grey, but it is burgundy. It is grey in a customer question. It is not grey.

👤I'm really upset to write this. I like graco. I would caution you against using this car seat. My son is 4 years old and I have a car seat that is facing the other way. Every time he falls asleep, there is limited neck support and he is in pain the next day. Poor guy! The next thing is the safety lock. If the car seat is rear facing, the latch system can be used. The graco car seat can be front facing. I can use the system. Not using the latch system makes me very nervous. I would caution you on those two things. Both safety and comfort. Hope this helps!

👤She was outgrowing her infant seat when she moved out of her old car seat. It was easy to make the adjustments so she could wear it like a glove. The modifications they made to the DLX version are nice, but not necessary. The center strap/button is in a better place to ensure a snug fit and the cover is easier to remove. If your budget is tight, the non-DLX is equally secure and easy to manipulate, even if you have 2 DLX versions.

👤I bought this two weeks ago. It took me a long time to pick a car seat for my son. I read reviews on different car seats. My husband thought it was crazy to spend that much on a car seat. I really like this car seat, so I'm glad I argued. If it gets dirty, it's easy to remove the padding. Just a few clips and boom it off. You can adjust the harness straps by pushing a button and pulling up. Instead of having to take everything apart and put it back together again. I like the extra padding and the seat positions. It's easy to install but it's difficult to uninstall. Some people were complaining about weird noises, but I haven't heard them. I have noticed a few draw backs to this type of car seat since purchasing it. My son is 5 months old and needs a carrier while we're out. I can't put him in a shopping cart, so I'm looking for a small sling or carrier that I can keep in the car for when we're out. The second con I have noticed with this type of seat is that you can't take these out or they aren't supposed to be, unlike the infant carriers that you can carry with you anywhere. There are restaurants. I don't eat out much. I can't put my baby in a restaurant because the car seat is in the car. I have a carrier so I'm looking for a portable high chair for those situations. I couldn't eat until the family was done. Since he was strapped to my chest, I could eat since he wasn't in a sling.

3. Chicco Toddler Venture Easy Extend Headrest

Chicco Toddler Venture Easy Extend Headrest

The 2-Stage base converts to provide more upright, spacious seating for toddlers without taking up extra space in the vehicle. Growth is accommodated throughout both stages with a padded harness. It's easy to install with the reclineSure leveling foot, Ride Right bubble levels, and SuperCinch LATCH tightener. There is no head or body support for newborns or smaller infants. For travel system use, compatible with Chicco strollers. For travel system use, compatible with Chicco strollers.

Brand: Chicco

👤The car seat is comfortable. It looks not cheap. It feels sturdy and safe. I bought a second Doona after selling one. This is a wonderful travel system that we use with our stroller. Can't recommend this seat enough. It's never a problem to make sure the correct seat or stroller is in use because we have the same setup in both cars.

👤We were so excited to order the same carseat for our 2nd child that we ordered it for our first child. We love this carseat. It's functional. It was comfortable. It was made of great material. It has great safety features. The carseat has adjusted to our 1st born's growth really well. Highly recommended. The base is a bonus. Everything is easy to use.

👤My mother bought this for me and my wife and we absolutely love it! Our baby seems to like it because it is light and easy to move. Thank you for the gift.

👤My baby has used this since he was 3 months old. We flew from Atlanta to San Diego with it. I like it. I've used infant seats before, but this is the best I've ever used. My child hates this car seat. He cries in the car seat, but he does everything else. He's a grumpy kid. The first seat was tried by a different brand and it didn't work out. He wouldn't be able to breathe in it. He is breathing better in this seat. I had to go for a season without a car, traveled a lot, and this seat had a great seat belt system to use in ride hailing services, and I clipped it into my city select stroller. The base is easy to install. My son is 28 lbs, 32 inches and 21 months old. We will have to look for a new seat soon, but I was so happy to have an infant seat that lasted as long as this one. The benefits of this seat outweigh the drawbacks, and it was a bit heavy. My son's birth has caused me to have mobility issues. I use a stroller to lean on while I walk. My hands are useless because of my disease. I could handle this seat. I feel like almost anyone can manage.

👤The looks and safety of this car seat is good, but it is heavy and gave me 3 stars. I feel like I am throwing a saddle on a horse with my baby in it. I have to let it go. My mom is a strong woman and she struggles a lot. The chest clip is small, which makes it hard to unbuckle.

👤The design is beautiful. It's easy to install. It feels safe. Highly recommended.

👤It accommodated multiple stages. It only took a few minutes when I was 40 weeks old. The instructions are easy to follow and allow for multiple configurations. The chicco caddy is compatible with multiple products. Also use with the City Mini G52 Baby Jogger stroller. It is easy to adjust straps.

4. JJ Cole Stroller Designed Herringbone

JJ Cole Stroller Designed Herringbone

Preemies, newborns, and infants can stay upright on car rides with head support. It's designed to fit around most harness straps found in car seats, strollers, joggers, and more. Two independent layers are used to create a multistage design to grow with your baby. It's a perfect gift for expecting parents or yourself to choose between five different styles of little baby. 👤These were among the smallest available when I was looking for a band cover. I have a Steelseries Arctis Pro headset, but I don't like the "ski goggle" headband. The base steel headband almost fits me by itself, but it has almost no padding, so I thought a cover with padding would let me use it alone. I bought these for the purpose, as other types of padding were too long. It was loose and didn't provide enough padding to be comfortable when I tried it on. I was willing to put up with that if it solved my other problem, but it looked pretty dorky. I had to return it because it didn't work out. The distance between the strips is 13 cm, + 1 cm. If this will fit your headband, you need to measure it with a flexible tape measure. If you have a headband that already has some padding and you need a little more, this might be the product for you. If you don't already have padding on your headband, skip this. Even though it's not my favorite headband, I'm sticking with it. I might try the Dekoni Audio Nuggets soon.

👤We bought this to help keep her head streak gut. And it did that. It's perfect in her car seat. I like that it fits within the seatbelt shoulder straps, and that it has a piece for when she gets bigger.

👤I was very excited to see these. They were not how I had pictured them. The white is advertised as white. The tags are brown. They fit the straps on the seat. These are not worth much.

👤There is nothing I dislike about these. I would buy them 100 times. They are more comfortable. I have bought other brands that are soft. It is a simple black design. They still look great when I throw them in the wash.

👤It's funny because we noticed our car seat didn't have inserts for the hospital. We thought we might just go with this option. We didn't want to void our car seat in the event of an accident because we just got a new one. We wanted to make sure our baby was safe. Good news, we still use this for diaper changing. It's a great head rest, it's thick and the color is done well.

👤The support for a 7.5 pound newborn isn't great, but after my daughter got a tiny bit bigger it works great for her! It is a good fit if you are 9 pounds and up. Soft material, good support. The flaps are placed between the car seat straps, but it doesn't connect to the car seat.

👤I needed to support my baby's head in his car seat. I don't like that it doesn't attach to the seat in any way. The shoulder straps keep the flaps in place.

👤I ordered it through bed bath and 888-349-8884 It was found on a whim through Amazon. Couldn't be happier. There is enough support for our little one coming this week.

5. Graco Contender Convertible Seat Glacier

👤I wish I could give this seat a 3.5 star rating, but that option doesn't exist, so I went up to a four instead of a three. This car seat has been with us since February of 2016 It's been about 8 months since I wrote this, and it's been one year. When we purchased this car seat for my son, he was just one year old. He is an average sized child. We were in a passenger side impact car accident on the freeway last week and need to replace this car seat because my son was in it when it was side swiped. As I was thinking about what I would like in the next car seat, I thought about some things I don't like about this car seat, as well as some things I like. I thought it would be helpful for people to see my list of pros and cons after using the Condender 65 for over a year and a half. I kept my son safe in the car accident. The five point harness system was still installed tightly and there were no visible signs of damage. It's really affordable. It was cheap, but not cheap quality-wise. I didn't want to spend $300 on a Britax car seat if I could get away with it. I never considered the cup holder when buying a car seat because my son was barely a year old, but it has been great for holding toys, drinks, and snacks. It's easy to clean. The Britax and Chicco convertible models don't have cup holders built in which is a big problem for me. The ones that clip on seem flimsy and I've read a lot of mixed reviews that make those kinds of cupholders seem more an "afterthought" and don't really feel like a part of the seat. My son knows that he would pull them off and throw them on the floor. I read a review where a mom said her child did this for $30 to sit on the floor of their car. It's fairly light without feeling flimsy. It is 15.2 lbs, which sounds right to me. My niece has a Britax Pioneer car seat that is 26 lbs. The "Simply Safe Adjust" harness system at the top of the car seat is very convenient. It's nice to be able to press a button and pull it as your child grows, instead of having to re-thread the straps. It's easy to rethread the buckle. There is no "recline" button, but this could be a pro or con. If you are using the seat for forward or rear facing, you just flip the little wedge at the base of the seat. I never had an issue with it. We used it for both forward and rear facing. The little ball that indicates proper positioning was in the perfect place each time, without any adjustments or boosting in my Honda Pilot. Black straps! They hide the stains and clean them easily. All of the cons are personal preference and convenience issues. I have no doubt that this car seat is safe. It is difficult to move this seat from one car to another. The cheaper 'hook' style of straps are the ones that are used in cars, not the nicer ones that have a button like a seatbelt. They're a problem to get out of. It's a pain and a half to get in and out of my parents' BMW 5 series and my husband's Honda Civic, so I've transferred this from my Honda Pilot to my husband's Honda Civic. I end up sweaty and swearing. It is not helpful that the strap you use to adjust the seat is only on one side, so you have to climb into your vehicle or mess with it. We had to change it twice. When it came out of the box, my son was in the back of the car, and the adjuster was on the left side of the seat. It's more convenient to have the strap on the side of the door. You have to thread the belt through the seat because you can't just pull it out. When my son switched to forward facing, we had to adjust it again. These are the little things that you don't want to waste time on as a parent. If you could adjust the slack/tightness from both sides, it would be much more convenient. The little bar clip with a button that allows you to adjust the latch belt on the one side is very frustrating to use. It does nothing when you press it half the time. It is supposed to let go of its grip on the belt so you can get slack in the belt to remove the latch from the car or tighten it. My friend's car seat has an issue with the latch button. I am not a bad person, but I have lost patience trying and sometimes I have to ask my husband to mess with it. Stains. I have always been too lazy to take the entire cover off and wash it, even though I was positive I could remove the seat after the accident, because I didn't think I could do it. I have never been able to get the stains out of the seat insert with bleach. I wish they were easier to clean because it looks filthy, unfortunately, with a toddler it's unavoidable. I couldn't get the stains out of this seat, so I gave up. We had a seat in Glacier. The gray is shown in a photo. If you remove the lighter gray seat pad, the stains won't show. The little pad has always been left in for comfort. My friend with the same car seat has said that they washed the seat after their daughter had an accident and it took quite some time to dry. She didn't think the fabric would hold up to multiple machine washings. The five point harness that goes over the child is very difficult to use. I had a lot of issues with them not adjusting equally, which is unsafe. The straps seem prone to twisting and making the buckle backwards. The pull strap at the base of the seat can be difficult to pull tight enough. I felt like I would be pulling and yanking and it wouldn't be tight enough, so it drove me crazy. There is no recline handle to adjust the seat's incline. This could be considered a pro or con depending on how you look at it. The most important thing about the Contender 65 is that it kept my son safe in an accident, even though I didn't care for it much. We decided on the 4Ever car seat from Graco because I have faith in them. It fixes most of the "cons" on this list and has all of the features I loved about the Contender 65. I paid $238 for it on Amazon, but the price has fluctuated, and I've seen it as low as $199 on Amazon.

6. Evenflo LiteMax Infant Seat Riverstone

Evenflo LiteMax Infant Seat Riverstone

4-35 lbs weight rating and 4 shoulder harness positions are extended use. It's easy to carry lightweight. The handle is more comfortable to carry. The canopy provides full protection from the sun, wind and rain. The canopy provides full protection from the sun, wind and rain.

Brand: Evenflo

👤I was worried that the seat wouldn't come with the base, but I'm happy that it did. I bought this car seat from Amazon Warehouse and it was very good. The car seat was in perfect condition, even though the box had seen better days. The tags are still on in the original packaging. It seems like he will be quite comfortable in there, even though he isn't here yet to test it out. The seat fabric is cushiony and there is a headrest. The seat feels sturdy and lightweight. It is easy to adjust the elevation of the seat and the straps. The strap holder is one of my favorite features.

👤The car seat is light. It is very tight around my baby's shoulders. The car seat was good for my baby for about 2 months. It was almost impossible for her to be buckled in at the biggest event by the time she was 3 months old. We bought a new carseat. It's hard to believe that this carseat could hold a child of 35 lbs.

👤The padding on the car seat is very good. My twins are comfortable. I like the fact that there is a slit to put the buckle in to hold the straps in place so they don't slip behind the baby. I bought it because of the light grey color, despite reviews that said it was narrow. We live in a hot climate and I can't imagine using a black color scheme for babies born in July. My 5 month old girls fit in the car seat very well. I would recommend it.

👤The cushion is soft and comfortable. Very strong. Installation is not more difficult than any other carseat. We are pros by now because this is our 4th baby. The lever on the top back side that releases the carseat from the base is not easy to use. I have to use both hands to get it to release because it catches. I have a carseat. Maybe it's a small mistake by the manufacturer.

👤The canopy attachment is cracked after about 6 months of having the seat. Sometimes it would come apart. I just reattached it and it's starting to come apart more often now. The original review was great. The seat is easy to install and unlatch from the base. It seems like my little guy will have plenty of room to grow into.

👤This is a great car seat. It has been used for 3 months. Our daughter loves it. She is very comfortable in the car seat. When we left the hospital, she was 10oz and was 6lb 10oz. She was on the second strap hole so it could sit a smaller baby. The base is easy to install in a car. I don't have to worry about messing with the seatbelt or making sure she's in the correct position. I am happy with this purchase. I would have liked to have gotten it for my other two.

👤The canopy/cover is the only thing I don't like about this car seat. The canopy or cover is difficult to adjust and won't protect the baby if it's raining. I thought I could use the canopy the same way I use the other Graco carseats, where you can place it over the baby. My baby can get so wet just walking from the grocery store exit to our car in the parking lot, I'm disappointed. The material is easy to clean and the clips are easy to use. It's easy to install. Love everything but the cover.

7. Graco SnugRide SnugLock Infant Adjustable

Graco SnugRide SnugLock Infant Adjustable

A hassle-free 3-step installation is what SnugLock Technology is about. The infant car seat protects rear-facing infants from 4 to 35 lbs. An easy-to-read level indicator helps eliminate installation guesswork, and the base has 4 recline positions. The Click Connect technology provides one-step secure attachment of a baby car seat to strollers and bases, and a convenient compartment that holds the LATCH and manual when not in use. A rotating canopy provides shade and sun protection for your baby, and it's easy to use front adjust 5-point harness. The built-in 5-point harness system was tested for occupant retention only. A combination of the most rigorous crash tests that helps protect your child in frontal, side, rear, and rollover crashes; additional testing based on the New Car Assessment Program and for extreme car interior temperatures is what the Protect Plus engineered is. Brand: Graco

👤I bought this in October for a baby shower gift. The window of return closes one month before the baby's due date. I should have thought about the possibility of returning it because I love graco car seats. The baby came 4 weeks early after the window of return. She is 6 lbs and this model does not have a small infant insert. There is no support for the head of an infant. I can't return this unsafe seat because it's not safe. Until now, I have never been disappointed by anything.

👤The only people I could find who received the product for free were people who had limited reviews online. Here's my regular consumer review. We are expecting baby #2 in May and used the regular Snugride click connect 35 with our 1st child, so I will make some comparisons to that model. I got this on sale for $60 off and it was a great deal at $112 with tax. The new carseat base from Graco really hit it out of the park. You can either thread the seatbelt across the base and through the holes or you can thread the strap across the base and through the holes. The carseat instruction manual can be stored in the front storage case of the latch straps. You hook the seatbelt or latch straps into the car, and then put the arm down, and it locks with a click. This is a lockoff, so that the strap cannot move around, and you get a really tight, secure install of the base. The old click connect 35 base was a bit of a pain to install because the seatbelt or latch strap still moved when threaded through the holes in the base, there was no lock off. It's sometimes difficult to get the straps tight, because you have to pull so hard. The base would still move under the straps. This is 100 times better and safer than before. The hook attachment on the LATCH straps isn't as nice as the button attachment. If you upgrade to the "fancier" 35 versions, you will get the 1 button release attachment. The latch hooks were not worth an extra $100 to me because of the sale price. The click connect base has an adjustment for recline position, but the base with the recline position is different. The dial is no longer red, but a handle and a plastic ramp that come out from the bottom. The new snuglock model is a nicer feature than the old base and it's easier to use. The seat is a little nicer than the old one. The outer textiles are nice, but the seat part is more of a "rough" fabric, similar to their older model fabric. I'm not sure why they chose to have two different types of fabric, the rougher one where the child sits, and the more water and stain resistant one, which is nice when you have a baby in there. The fabric on the seat might be more modern than the ones on the deluxe models. The newborn insert is flatter and doesn't wrap around the baby's head, just pads on the side. It feels thicker than the older 35 insert. It's not as big as the current inserts. If you research, I don't think these newborn inserts do much in regards to accident safety, they just make parents feel better, and help position baby in the seat. The older model insert did not do the job for that purpose, but this insert does. The weight is great and lightweight. The seat is on the lighter end of infant seats. I picked up a snugride 40 and a britax b safe in the store. I ruled them out because of the weight being too heavy for me to carry around all the time. The inner seat fabric is softer than the canopy. It is not as rough as my old 35 fabric. I don't know terms for textiles. The canopy of the elite version in the store was soft, thin, and high end, and this is a much cheaper fabric. The older model is more difficult to move. You have to wiggle and fight with it to get it to go up and down. The older canopy moved more easily and didn't have audible clicks, so it's a downgrade. The smooth gliding canopy is also available in the deluxe versions. They decided to "cheap out" with this canopy. It's probably my least favorite feature. The older 35 model does not extend as far as this canopy does, but it is still nice and can be a pain to get past the handle. The handle moves by pushing the red buttons on each side. I am a person with no coordination and this is not an issue for me. I don't think a button in the middle of the handle is worth an extra $100. Sometimes the canopy has to be moved out of the way as the handle moves. Standard harness straps are used. The harness has a re-thread feature, but the other models have a no re-thread feature. It's not a big deal with an infant carseat because you can easily remove it from the base and get to the back. When your child becomes front-facing, the no re-thread harness is great because it makes adjusting the straps easier. The no-rethread option is nice, but it's not really worth the extra cost on the infant seat. There's no difficulty in rethreading the straps. The crotch strap is easy to pull, some seats are hard to tighten and adjust, but this one is smooth and effortless. The only thing I don't like about the seats is the button to loosen the crotch strap, which is reached by sticking your finger in the hole. Since it's hidden, it's not intuitive. If someone else takes the baby, I need to remind them how to tighten the straps, because you have to finagle your finger around to find the metal button. I hope they update this feature in the future. The little carseat strap covers were an unexpected bonus. They're soft and a little perk. The older 35 seat did not have them. I really recommend this seat. I think it is on sale for a bit less at some retailers. The new snuglock base is an improvement over the old click connect base. The seat has some nice improvements, but it felt a little cushier than the previous model. If you want more features like no-rethread hardness or a bigger snuglock base, you should upgrade to the more expensive model.

👤This is the best and most satisfying purchase I have ever made in Amazon. We were able to leave the hospital with the baby the next day, because it arrived just the day after it was born. It was amazing to learn how to use it. We walked from the hospital to our home instead of using a car. Our baby has always felt comfortable when we seat him in the Doona, and it has been since then that we have been using it. It has served its purpose for every use we have thought of for it. Taking the baby to the restaurant for lunch and dinner is one of the use cases we have successfully checked. It is small enough to avoid people getting in close proximity to its wheels. The baby should be taken on a ferry. It worked well in the car seat. The baby really likes traveling since his first day out, thanks to the Doona. All of the drivers were impressed with how easy it was for us to get the baby in and out of the car, converting from stroller to car seat and back to stroller in an easy operation. They don't need to get off the car to open the trunk or help with the stroller because it's a car seat. It has made our life out of home a lot easier. Take the baby to the beach with a car seat that you can convert to a car seat with the handle and then pop it out when you hit a palm tree. We put a blanket over the Doona because the shade helps keep the baby comfortable but we go extra cautious. There is no mosquitoes or too much sun or wind. There is an official sunshade. We didn't want to wait for shipping times so we went the cheap way. The baby is going to the movies. Yes! Babies like the movie even if it is three hours long. We put the Doona in a car seat. If the baby is showing signs of wet diaper, you can change it during the movie to avoid crying. You can enjoy your movie date again if you seat close to the aisles or next to the handicapped seats. Since we found out we can do things we like, having done this helped us. The baby is on a plane. We had an international flight at week 5 and we felt like we were in a picture studio at the airport. It was easy to get to crowded places. There are two ways to travel with it. If you take the baby to the gate, the airline will take care of it and put it with the cargo and you can use it through customs and luggage pick up without having to hold it. And... 2. The Doona is certified for air travel so you can take it on board with your baby. We saved money by choosing option 1 and using baby formula. The stroller/seat was the easiest to use, and the airline staff said that too. There were other babies on both flights and they weren't having as good a time as we were. It's easy to take the car seat through the security check. It goes through the X-ray machine in a car seat. The right size for that. Taking the baby to doctor's appointments is a good idea because waiting rooms can get crowded and make other people uncomfortable. The Doona has a mode that I have never seen in reviews or elsewhere: just pull the wheels and leave it in the floor. It works like a rocking chair. Try it when you get yours and you will be amazed at how rocking chair mode works. I have never seen so many people with the same name. Getting in and out of elevators with one hand will take less space than if you use two hands. It is easy to do. It is so small and flexible that you can take it to the outlets and feel like a Kodak picture spot/opportunity. In the first two months, nothing has changed and we are happy we went the Doona way. The baby didn't notice the change after we removed the newborn insert. Thank you Doona, we have been happy parents. Our baby is 2.5 years old and we miss the Doona. We used it for 15 months and then we missed it again. It made another happy family after us. We would buy it if there was a similar one for toddlers. I still think it was the best purchase ever.

👤My baby arrived a month early. A typical newborn wouldn't fit into that. The newborn head insert was weak and didn't give any support, so I bought this to use in our car seat. I picked this because it looked like it could be taken apart and 888-282-0465. It works in all of them, with some small modifications. I am using a small part from the rest of the support system. If you still provide supervision, it works well. I thought his swing wouldn't be of use to us for at least a month or more because I was so happy to get to use it. He's a preemie and this keeps me sane after holding him, kissing him, singing to him, rocking and bouncing and pat him for 14 hours straight. Being able to place him in his swing once in awhile is a blessing for me and my boy.

👤It wasn't a perfect fit, but it fit well in my car seat. I can't say how supportive it is, but it does look promising. The inserts aren't attached to each other so you can modify them as you please. I am happy with the purchase and would recommend it. The material is very soft. I was very pleased that it will be in contact with the baby.

👤This is one of the best inventions that they have made for children. They look uncomfortable in their car seats. I recommend buying one of these. I feel like this is one of the best inventions that they have made for children because my nephew did not like his car seat but he was happy to be in it. They look uncomfortable in their car seats. 👤We bought a second hand car seat for our baby after our first one expired. The inner baby lining was lost a long time ago. I bought this one online. I'm glad I did. This is better than anything I have seen before. My baby was almost ten lbs and only fit the inner head liner for the first week, but he had a very large head in the 110% range. He uses the outer lining to hold his head. The shoulder pads keep his head from dropping forward, which is always a concern with newborns and breathing. The quality was exceptional and the cost was great. The stitching has held up despite our four year old putting his babies in and out when his brother isn't using it.

👤It was made of cheap material. When the seatbelt was set to newborn size, it didn't fit with our graco car seat, so we ordered it to support our newborn's head in the car seat. It doesn't have snaps to connect the two pieces together, so they slip all over. I ended up getting the goldbug one they sell at Walmart which works better than the one they had here.

👤My 9 month old daughter was saved by this car seat. We were in a car accident a few days ago and were t-boned. We rolled multiple times after the impact sent our car to a ditch. When we opened the back door to make sure our baby was okay, she looked at us and smiled. Let's do it again! Completely unharmed. There were no injuries, just smiles. We ordered 2 more car seats to replace this one and her sisters. My daughter was saved by a product from Graco.

👤I had my daughter on Nov 1. The snugride platinum we bought is working out better than before. We've been using it for a month. I'm happy I returned this seat. I have used infant seats with all of my children, even though I am having a baby any day now. I've been a customer of Graco for 12 years and I wanted to love this seat because it has a big canopy and no rethread straps. You have to fight and tug to move the canopy and handle because there is not enough space. If you pull on the canopy too much, the bolts that hold it on will come undone. This was overlooked. When you're taking care of a baby, who has time to wrestle with a car seat canopy? It's heavy and the color looks like black fabric that has been sunbleached. Not a good look. I would like to give this zero stars. I'm buying snugride Platinum instead of returning it. My sanity is worth the extra money. Unless you really enjoy wrestling with a car seat, don't bother with this seat.

👤This is our second child, and I wanted a more secure infant seat. The last one was good but not very supportive. If she slept and it tilted over too much, I would sit in the backseat with our first and adjust her head. This time, won't be possible! The weight of this seat was something I was concerned about. This is not heavier than I am used to. The way you carry these things is different than what most of us do. Curl the bar under your arm and you will struggle with it on your hip. You are supposed to thread your arm through it and hold the bat part with your hand. It makes life so much easier once you try it. If you search, you will find videos on it. People were upset with the canopy. You will have the handle up with the canopy 98% of the time. You don't need to get the canopy and bar completely flat when you want baby out. It is a design flaw, but you won't have the bar and canopy flattened most of the time. I am not sure about the aspect of the headrest being moved up as the baby grows, but some reviews mention babies quickly outgrowing it. Time will tell! I am very pleased.

👤I am a first time dad. I did a lot of research. It has been 3 months since I decided on this one. It has a lot of cushion that the others don't. It makes me feel better about how secure the baby is. I threw the smaller cushion in the washer when she had a blow out. I was skeptical that it would come clean because it was white and green and brown, but it did. It has a larger shade cover and a vent that opens up for air so it is a good place to take a newborn. The base is easy to level and the seat seems to be tighter than the one we used before. If you follow the instructions, it can be secured without the base. In case someone else has to pick the kid up in an emergency. My wife and I both have the same base in our cars, even though I bought a second base. I have found two cons after 3 months. It is a bit heavy. My wife has a lot of trouble carrying my baby because the car seat feels heavy, even though I'm strong, and my baby is almost 15 lbs. The second thing is that when you are not in the AC, it gets hot fast. I have a summer baby in Florida. I have noticed that when sitting the baby can't stay in it long before her underside gets hot. It is an easy fix because we use a chest holder. I would definitely do that. If I had to, I would keep it for my next child.
