👤The 4ever xtend2fit was advertised for a black friday sale. My wife and I got one of these for a good price from the babies and we are closing sales. We have a second baby on the way in April and thought we could use one in each car until we need both. The description was read by me. It has a tightlatch system. We have the same thing. The issue is here. I notice different colors and click through. The other "color" options were cheaper. I understand that manufacturers sell less popular colors for less. It happens all the time. If you change the color, you also change the product. The 4ever extend2fit is still said to be. It's not the same as the EZ Tight LATCH system. Their basic one is more difficult to tighten. To take it out. That is a large task. If this doesn't get resolved, I will be returning the product and buying a different brand. I don't like the idea of advertising and changing the product description to make it look different.

👤The car seat has grown with my child over the last 3 years. She is a tall girl and it has fit her perfectly. It is very easy to adjust to her needs and secure her car. I don't mind taking a few extra minutes to install her seat because I know she's safe. The quality and safety features of the car seat make up for the fact that it is a little heavy. Our car was totaled in the accident. The impact was so hard that we spun our car around in a circle and the tail light came out on the other side of my car. Her car door was split in half. My daughter walked away with a bruise on her forehead and a side impact cushion. She has had more injuries than this from falling. Her car seat didn't budge at all. Even though it was a hard impact, it was completely secured. After looking at photos, doctors at the ER were surprised that she had only a bruise. I am so thankful for this seat. We replaced her seat with the same one and didn't think twice.

👤We had this seat for about 8 months and liked the idea of it being a one and done seat. We started potty training. One time the seat was soaked by our daughter. I took the seat out, cleaned it, and put it back in the car. The smell of urine was present in the car about 3 days later. The seat was the source. I took it out again and realized that it was impossible to get to the base because of the urine. I need to either buy a new seat or deal with the smell. It is hard to buy a new seat for the amount we paid, but the smell is overwhelming. If you decide to buy this seat, make sure to put down pee pads during potty training.

2. GRACO SnugFit Infant Rebound Spencer

GRACO SnugFit Infant Rebound Spencer

Rear-facing infants can be protected from 4-35 lbs and up to 32 lbs. An additional layer of safety is provided by the Anti-Rebound Bar. The technology can be installed in less than one minute. While your child is in the seat with the front-adjust No-Rethread Simply Safe Harness System, your headrest and harness should be adjusted together. The LATCH attachment from In Right can be used for quick installation. The LATCH attachment from In Right can be used for quick installation.

👤The baby rode in the car with no problems, because we were using an old car seat. She would cry after about 10 minutes and wouldn't stop. Her back and head were drenched with sweat when we got her out of the seat. She would scream until she was out of the seat, because we had the A/C blowing directly on her. Her arms and legs were cold and her back and head were hot. She would get overheated even in a comfortable temperature. There are warnings on the back of the seat that are not removed. She has had no issues with overheating since we switched back to the old seat. They never responded to my email, which was terrible. I am returning the seat because of the wonderful customer service I received from Amazon.

👤We have been using this car seat for about a month now and we have to forcefully push the seat into the vase for it to click. When we take the car seat out of the car, it won't open from the base. It gets stuck and won't release unless you forcefully wiggle it, which seems like it could compromise the integrity of the locking mechanism. I wish I could return it but it is not an option since it is being used.

3. Hiccapop Uberboost Inflatable Backless Portable

Hiccapop Uberboost Inflatable Backless Portable

Car seats can be portable and packable. The portable car seat inflates in a few breaths and is easy to install. It can fit in a suitcase, carry-on, large purse or backpack if it is tightly rolled up in its own travel bag. It is certified safe for your most delicate cargo. Your child should be in a car seat that is comfortable and safe for short journeys. The Federal Motor Safety Standard for the USA is a good example of car seat safety standards. The non-skid base is designed to sit firm and steady on leather, vinyl or cloth seats. In case of an accident, it provides soothing stability while riding. It was gentle on your upholstery. A narrow yet roomy design allows you to fit 3 inflatable car seats across the back seat of smaller vehicles, or fit 1 in between 2 traditional car seats. Large families, car poolers, and soccer moms are all accommodated. Extra comfy for small bottoms and security and decorum. Your little one will love the design. The positioning clips make sure that the child's belt fits perfectly across the lap, preventing internal damage in the event of an accident. Extra comfy for small bottoms and security and decorum. 👤We traveled with our daughter for the first time. I did a lot of research on what we could use with a ride service. Hopefully this can help other parents, I'm very happy with this purchase. It was easy to inflate and carry along for the day, as well as easy to install and uninstall quickly in vehicles. Before you use it for the first time, you should practice. My daughter learned how to make sure it was in the correct place. She was able to see out of the window. The bottom of it had a non-slip surface that I liked. This option made our trip a breeze and I am really glad we went with it.

👤I am very pleased with this haiku. After a few months, a tiny hole was tried to be fixed with patch kit that came with it. I will be damned if they didn't do what they said they would do. I explained what happened. We received a replacement 4 days later. This company is very important to me. It deflated again.

👤I found this so I don't deflate it because it fits in my bag.

👤This product is amazing. I needed a gift for my 6 year old and I didn't want to take her car seat with me to DC, so this is the answer. Inflates deflate in less than 30 seconds, roll back up and fit in the bag, and are easy to install from the car. I don't know what the car seat has been through, but the surcharge will pay for itself in 3 trips. I liked the tongue in cheek marketing pamphlet that came with it, and I loved the details on their website. Excellent marketing and service, a great concept, and quality materials. I wouldn't use this as our daily car seat, but I'm not worried about her safety or comfort when we use lyft.

👤We bought this to use in Florida. We were staying on property and knew we would need to use an app. deflate and stick in your backpack, it was perfect for those trips. It is time to go. I wouldn't recommend for everyday use or long car rides. My daughter is 6 and 46 inches tall.

👤Love! We rented a car for our vacation and it was great for our 5 year old. I wish this existed when she was younger. It fit in our carryon luggage and we got it out when we landed so we could use it for the week. We used the included strap to keep the seatbelt from rubbing her neck because our daughter uses a 5pt high back booster at home in a regular basis. I had to add some air mid week but it was no problem. It is easy to deflate and repack. Highly recommend!

👤Not keeping. I needed a booster for my middle seat. The seat belt was attached to the inflatable seat and it wasn't right when my daughter said it was comfortable. I didn't feel right keeping it because the outer stitching was unraveling. I think this would work for travel purposes. Like taxi and ride-sharing services.

4. Baby Trend Secure Infant Lavender

Baby Trend Secure Infant Lavender

Side impact head protection can be achieved with the use of energy-absorbing foam. Easy one-hand harness adjustment and push-button release are included. There is a grow-with-me insert. Do not use harsh detergents. A large canopy and carrying handle. One-hand easy-access seat release. Minimum 0 months and maximum 24 months. Minimum 0 months and maximum 24 months.

Brand: Baby Trend

👤This is the second carseat I have purchased. It was for safety reasons that I got a new one. You should always buy a new one after you wreck one. It wasn't broken after the wreck. My baby did not get a scratch when I flipped twice. This carseat is very good. It saved my baby's life.

👤I don't usually do product reviews but I feel it's necessary because I have two kids under 2. I was excited when I received this, it looked very safe and comfy. I had trouble at first with my baby. I was sure I would get the hang of it. I did not do any research into buying this. Is it comfortable for a newborn? Maybe. It's very heavy and the handle is not easy to use. I will take pictures of it and put it in my post. You have to use all your strength to pull the straps out. The same as for closing it. It's nearly impossible for me to get my baby out of this seat. If you don't pull the straps right, the baby won't be released and you have to pull the whole car seat out and fix it before you can put the baby in. It's not a great option when you're out and about. I noticed that the base doesn't wiggle when you click on it. Which is good. I can lift the whole back of it. It seems very dangerous. That will be in the pictures as well. It's pretty long, so you have to put the front passenger or driver seat wherever the baby is in the back, and you have to put them far forward. The base won't click in if you don't. Which is not the best for tall people. The only thing that was nice about this was the extra cushion for a newborn. I can buy it separately for any other car seat.

👤When I got this in the mail, I was very excited. The baby came and it was time to take her home. After an hour of multiple people and nurses trying to get her in without the bottom part squeezing and scratching her legs, we ended up taking out the newborn insert and putting a blanket under her to stop the buckle. It felt unsafe to put her in that car seat even though everyone in the hospital said she was ok. We went home and tried to fix it, but we saw the same complaints about the buckle. Don't buy... I wanted the jogger to connect. You have to connect the two prongs together before you put it in the car seat.

👤I don't know why this car seat has such high reviews. I would not recommend this seat. The button to loosen the straps is hard to use. I had to use the lever to loosen the straps on both guards. I have had to fix the straps in the back of the car seats because they won't come loose. The bottom harness is hard to use. You have to push the sides together. There isn't any room for the bottom straps for their legs. I feel like I'm squeezing their legs when I put the harness on. This is not the seat you want, it is the seat for the mechanics.

5. Graco SlimFit Convertible Seat Darcie

Graco SlimFit Convertible Seat Darcie

Your child can grow from a rear-facing harness to a highback booster in a 3-in-1 car seat. The seat is 10% slimmer because of the dual cup holders that rotates away. A combination of the most rigorous crash tests helps to protect your little one in crashes. The harness and headrest can be adjusted in one motion. The safest fit for your child is to choose the perfect height for their headrest. The recline helps for a better installation. Push-button In Right LATCH has an audible click to help ensure secure installation.

Brand: Graco

👤We were in a car accident at 60mph. A 2 year old child walked away from an accident after biting his tongue. He was thankful for the protection this seat gave him.

👤I've been wanting to get a second car seat for a long time. I went to the local stores to try out the Slim Fit after seeing the price drop. The Slim Fit and the Milestone are both on sale at Walmart for the same price. My primary car seat is a Graco 4Ever. Both the SlimFit and Milestone have the same features. My daughter and I chose Slim Fit because of the two cup holders. The seat is very comfortable. There is a good amount of cushion in the head and butt area. Ours has been in use for several years and feels more comfortable than the 4Ever. The beams are reinforced with steel like the 4Ever, but they are not as thick or wide. The SlimFit is a bit lighter because of this. The in Right latch system is a must have for the Slim Fit. The installation is easy, but the in Right belt is a bit harder to get as snug as I want. That could be because it is brand new. The harness adjusts when you raise and lower it. The seat is a bit larger than the 4Ever. I am testing out the Slim Fit in my Mazda CX-5 and I feel like there is more room for passengers than when I have the 4Ever in the same place. There are only 4 "recline" positions. I would like to see 5. The 4Ever has two recline positions just for forward facing, which is a plus. It's a little more comfortable with the added recline. The SlimFit is definitely comparable to the 4Ever. If you can purchase below retail, I would recommend it. There was a photo added for asthetic comparison.

👤Ok. All of the pictures should be forgiven. Seeing comparison pictures of new car seats helped me make my decision. We are getting a new car seat. I drive a small car, the 2015 crosstrek from the Subaru line. If I could do it all over again, I would buy a minivan that we didn't need and I wouldn't want a teenager sitting in the back for family outings. The seat is a bit slimmer on the slimfit due to the lack of armrest and cup holders. The back and headrest are the same on both seats, but the back of the slimfit is a solid panel as opposed to the extend2fit with an open back. Both of these differences are functional and mearly. The recline option is the same, the padding is the same, and the wonderful sliding headrest to adjust height is the same. The water under the bridge made it difficult for me to get the latch through the rear pass. The seat is heavy and not a good choice if you want to carry your car seat through the airport or move it on a regular basis. I don't like the fact that the infant seat insert is not included, there are a lot of cracks in the fabric and it is hard to get gummy snacks out of it. The seat is sturdy and well built, which is a bonus since I won't need another car seat for the kids down the road. It is nice. Installation was ok. 10/10 would buy again.

6. Rear Facing Infants Compatible Chicco Strollers

Rear Facing Infants Compatible Chicco Strollers

Installation is simple, accurate and secure with two bubble-level indicators and a spring loaded leveling foot for proper base angle in the vehicle seat. The infant car seat and stroller combo is convenient with compatible strollers. It is easy to remove with a two-position carry-handle and one-hand release. From the first day, the car seat has an infant head and body support insert. The Keyfit 30 Infant Car Seat is for babies between 4 and 30 lbs. And up to 30” tall. A canopy and seat pad that is machine-washable are ideal for baby travel. There is a top-rated infant car seat in America. There is a top-rated infant car seat in America.

Brand: Chicco

👤This product is very good. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone due to the fact that it and the stroller that goes with it are useless once your child outgrows the seat. There are car seats that are compatible with strollers that can be used on their own. The travel systems are a better investment. We spent $380 for an extra base, seat, and stroller, which only lasted us 6 months. Our child is on the tall end of the spectrum, but I wish I had done more research.

👤Our family was in a car accident that happened on a two lane highway. Our 3 month old daughter survived the crash without a scratch and sat in this seat. The other 4 of us were injured. Safety should be the top priority with car seats. Ignore the color, weight, and ease of use. This seat is important for the safety of your kids. I will only buy their seats. Drive.

👤I bought a stroller frame and a car seat. I'm happy with both products. The handle for the carrier is quietly raised so that it doesn't wake the baby. If the baby is sleeping, the stroller is quiet and the click in feature makes it ideal. The level markers on the seat made it easy for my husband and I to put it in right. The lever in the back can be used to remove the car seat from the stroller.

👤I'm on baby number 5, so I would like to think I know what I'm talking about. At least when it comes to car seats. I'm not sure. anyways... I've had chicco and graco, and I've won both. The fabric is thick and comfortable, yet easy to remove and reassemble, making for efficient cleaning, and it is easy to get in and out of the car. It's worth the money.

👤5 kids. Not our first rodeo. The worst seat ever! Don't. The Baby Trend brand carseat is 2 inches shorter than the one we used for 4 kids. The release handle is crammed between the back of the car's front seat and it's horrible. It was very difficult for me to let the seat go from the base. Really... We can't even get the seat out of the base. The front of the car is where the release handle must be pulled. The back of the car's front seat is where the hand is located. The carrying handle should be out of the way. The shade canopy and the release buttons pinched my fingers. It was like a son-of-a-gun. It's very hard to avoid! The engineers are either morons or have never had kids. Parents should be hired to test your products. It should be back asap. Cheers!

👤We had a car accident with this car seat when we got rear ended by a texting driver and were sandwiched into another car. Air bags were deployed on her side of the car. My husband broke his hand, but my baby seems to have been unaffected. We ordered the same car seat again because we know it does its job well.

7. Chicco GoFit Backless Booster Seat

Chicco GoFit Backless Booster Seat

The double foam padding of the Ergo boost seat provides support in all the right places. The seat pads and armrest covers are machine-washable. The cup holders are dishwasher safe. There is a shoulder belt clip and lap belt guides. It is easy to transfer from vehicle to vehicle. Go Fit is what you should choose. The Plus model has alatch to anchor the booster with the seat. Go Fit is what you should choose. The Plus model has alatch to anchor the booster with the seat.

Brand: Chicco

👤It is a good looking booster seat and it is padded. It doesn't fit my child. I will return it. My daughter has always been in the top 1% for her height and weight. She's 54 inches tall and 85 lbs. The seat is too narrow for her. She can squeeze into it, but the armrests are so low she can't see anything. I would like it to be a couple inches wider. She is 25 lbs below the max weight allowance so it should fit. The seat needs to be wider. The seat is free standing. The booster seat does not have clips to hold it to the seat. I would like it to happen. If it is not occupied, I don't like the idea of it moving around while I'm driving.

👤The seat is worth a few extra dollars. This is my third backless booster and it is the most thoughtful. The cupholders are collapsible. I would sit in it myself if I could. I highly recommend this purchase.

👤I had my twin seven-year-old granddaughters in the car with me when we were in a collision on the freeway. We were rear-ended by traffic that was slow. The car in front of us was pushed into my vehicle. My car had a lot of damage. My Grandaughter's were not injured, nor did they complain about any injury the next day, because they were frightened.

👤The other booster seats were hard for our 7 year old to sit in. Her daddy sought out a more comfortable booster and he found it. She doesn't complain anymore. We are taking it on a long road trip so we hope it will be comfortable.

👤My 7 year old gave me two thumbs up when I asked if she liked it. The shoulder belt clip is on the bottom of the seat. My daughter is tall enough that she doesn't need to use it. I don't know if it would stay better if there was tension on the belt. If you need the pro version of the LATCH hooks, you should get this model. I would recommend looking at the seat's location and availability of laTCH. She is using it in the 3rd row of our Sequia, which does not have LATCH, so I saved $10 and got this model. She likes the color purple. I haven't had to remove the seat cushion yet. The arm rests are not moving. I read a comment that said they are 11 and I would recommend measuring your child before ordering. My daughter was small. She has enough space to sit comfortably.

👤My daughter loves her booster seat. It's easier to move from car to car with a handle. She says it's very comfortable and she sleeps a lot in the car. She's 4.5 years old and loves this harness more than her old one. Make sure your child can keep a seatbelt on and meet the height and weight restrictions...this is a great booster seat and comes with all the safety ratings required by the FDA. It's easy to clean as well.

8. Graco Atlas Harness Booster Glacier

Graco Atlas Harness Booster Glacier

Two seats are in a booster seat. The booster seat converts from a forward-facing harness to a highback belt-positioning seat. The Simply Safe Adjust Harness System allows the head and harness to adjust in one motion. In belt-positioning booster mode, the integrated harness storage compartment stores unused harness straps. Your child's headrest grows with you. There are two recline positions and 10 head rest positions in a car seat. Keep your child's drink close with integrated, dual cup holders. The belt guides help position the seat belt.

Brand: Graco

👤One of the most important products for toddlers is a car seat. Consumer Reports recently finished testing on toddler-boosters and said parts of five popular toddler-booster car seats broke. What they found and what parents can do about it are included in this. Toddler-booster seats are forward facing and can be used initially with a five point harness and then they can be used as a booster with the car's own seat belts. All seats must meet federal safety crash test requirements in order to be sold, but Consumer Reports' crash evaluations are more rigorous. The Britax Frontier ClickTight, Britax Pioneer, Cosco Finale, Graco Atlas 65, and the Harmony Defender 360 booster seats were found to break when tested with dummies whose weight is close to the seat's limits. "If the harness or top tether breaks, it can compromise the seats' ability to protect the child in a subsequent crash event," said Consumer Reports. It may allow the child to move further forward, if the harness disengages completely, the seat is no longer restraining the child. There were no injuries related to the structural failures revealed in Consumer Reports crash tests. What should you do if you own one of these seats? CR says that you should not stop using the seat if you don't have a replacement. A basic margin of safety is provided by any car seat, and it is better than no seat at all. If your child is less than 40 pounds, you can use this seat with the five-point harness. If your child weighs more than 40 pounds, you should use the seats in booster mode. CR says you should replace your car seat if it's too small for it to fit the booster and vehicle seat belts correctly. Britax, Cosco, Graco, and Harmony all stated that their seats meet federal standards and that CR's testing differed from the government's. Consumer Reports says that the best way to replace a child's car seat is with a new one.

👤The part that protects his brain broke and fell off. When I went to clean the pads, I found out. Take the pads off if you have one. I have four of these. I want to replace them all.

👤Absolutely love it! I don't need a car seat anymore. I think it's the total package. My car looks great again, and I'm confident that my son is safe. The last car seat was green and covered in stains within a month. There are a few features that I like. There will never be a stain that I can't remove. My son falls asleep in the car a lot, so no more bobbing head. My son's head is kept straight while he sleeps. My son can't escape the easy buckle. TheRemovable cover is easy to keep clean. There are more features, but the ones listed were most important to me.

👤I ordered two car seats at the same time and they both arrived a year ago. They only have 6 years left. If you are buying a new product, it should be within a month or two of the manufacture date. If you have a smaller SUV that allows for reclining back seats, you can recline the seats in my ford f350. The recline option makes it easier for the kids to sleep. The shoulder heigh adjustment is very easy to do. It's a big plus that cheaper options make you rethread. The seat is light and made of plastic which the higher end GRACO's have a steel core. The push to click seat belt style found on higher end car seats is not the same as the simple metal clasps under the seat. The materials are plastic and the fabric is not the most durable, but I'm very happy with my purchase, it was a year old when we received them. If life span is important to you, you might want to check with the vendor before ordering. Thanks!

👤I said that my car seat got here 6 days earlier than the reported receiving date, so I'll start off with that. I appreciate the extra padding on this car seat to make sure my baby is safe and snug during our ride home. The colors are great and look just like the picture if not better, they are able to be placed where you would like depending on how large or small your baby is. There is a I feel safe with my baby in this seat. I appreciate something that is worth my money and time and I am happy with it. The instructions were easy to follow, and the umbrella shade is long, which will protect my baby from the light during car rides.

👤This is a great car seat. Some people said the straps were not even. It can be fixed if you take off the padding. It's been a great car seat.

👤This is a very sturdy car seat. The picture online doesn't show the big ugly warning signs next to your baby's face, which is disappointing. I am happy with my purchase, but annoyed that the picture leaves out. This is one of the most comfortable and padded car seats I have ever seen, and it is for my child.

👤I am happy with this car seat. I was going to go with the maxi cosi, but this seat was cheaper and had better reviews. So happy with this seat! I give this seat 5 stars because I am due in 5 weeks. If you are looking for something thinner than this car seat, I want comfort for my newborn so they are not feeling the plastic, and this car seat gets an A+.

👤This is a carseat that I love! I was unsure of which carseat to get, but chose this one once I had a baby. I could bring her home because she was only 4 lbs. The seat is easy to clean and comfortable. I've had no issues with the sun canopy staying up, even though I've read other reviews that it isn't staying up. It is so heavy that it is not a downside. I have never used the graco lite but I am unsure if it is normal. I had it for 2 months and it still looks brand new, even with my baby spitting up. The clothes are nice. I would buy again.

👤The car seat is terrible. I can't fit it in my car. It moves a lot. It has a very cheap feel compared to other car seats. It is a nightmare to unlocked it. You have to press a button on the back and front of the device. It doesn't work with ease. The bar is getting stuck a lot. I would return it. I needed to bring my baby home so I used it. I wouldn't recommend this seat.

👤I bought this car seat because of the extra padding for a baby. It looked more safe. I had to take the extra padding out because the baby sat high and the crotch buckles were in her leg. I have tried moving the buckle to different holes, but it doesn't make a difference. As my baby grows, taking the butt padding out won't work because she will get bigger. I wish I wouldn't have bought it.

10. Chicco KidFit Belt Positioning Booster

Chicco KidFit Belt Positioning Booster

Duo's head and shoulder protection has 10 positions. Premium LATCH connections have a super Cinch 1-pull tightened. The seat has double foam padding. The dishwasher-safe cupholders are easy to hide. The backless booster for older children is created by the reclined backrest. The backless booster for older children is created by the reclined backrest.

Brand: Chicco

👤The last straw was when the dealership had to cut out a car seat that I couldn't get the belt loose on, after having multiple car seats that were a pain to get in and out. I found this after that. This is so easy to take out. I love this seat. This is something to buy.

👤I bought a seat at Walmart that was more expensive than the current one. It had an option for harness, but we didn't really need it. The seat was terrible, there was a piece of styrofoam in the headrest that rattled all the time. It was not designed to come out as it is energy absorbing. It sounded like I bought a Styrofoam cooler. I ordered this one for my wife's car because I thought we liked his current seat. It is very lightweight and can be installed in less than 2 minutes. My son liked it. My truck has rear inflatable seats belts, so I didn't order one for it. I reached out to Chicco because I saw conflicting information on the internet. The lady in customer service didn't know, so she would call me. I thought I would never hear anything. On Friday, I called at close to 4pm. She told me that my phone was compatible with the seat belt. The second one was installed by me. Don't buy a more expensive brand at Walmart.

👤It is easy to put together and install. The booster can be held in place with the latch system. Light weight makes it easy for a child to Buckle. The seats are too wide in the shoulder area. If you have a small space, the booster will not fit on the seat and the other passengers will not have much room. I would buy this again.

👤The belt positioning is great. The padding on the seat is very nice. It was easy to use. There are clips that are useful. The kid likes that side pillows. The seat is not deep enough. The seat in our van is almost 4 inches beyond the front of the booster. I fear my tall child will be uncomfortable in this seat because it is rated for taller kids.

👤Our son is 9 months old and is on a 99 percentile for his age, so we use to move on in the gear a bit earlier. He feels like a big boy, easy to seat by himself, and seems safe. We put him in the middle back seat of the Santa Fe sport to make room for other guests. The last one was large. I would recommend this product.

👤We have two seats for our kids. They have cup holders for all of their stuff. They are easy to put in your seats, and the belt adjustment on the sides helps place the belt where it is supposed to be. A high quality booster.

👤I bought this seat after my attempt to get my kid a spiderman booster seat failed. The spiderman seat looked cool, but it lacked all the things I love in a Chicco seat. The seat is easy to assemble. The latch system gives it extra stability to prevent it from hitting the car when there is no child in it. The padding on the back is thin, but the headrest padding and seat padding are nice. If your child is short and wide, it may not hold up through age 9. It doesn't affect me, as my kids are walking stick figures, but something to consider if your kids are on the bigger side. If you need to cram in multiple seats in a smaller car, this narrow design is ideal.

👤I hurt my back and hands in the accident, but my son didn't complain. He was checked out by the doctor and didn't have any injuries. I bought the same one to replace the one I used.

👤If you want to use this seat for everyday use, I would recommend you to keep looking. I have used a lot of car seats and this one has pros and cons, but I don't like them all. The fabric had a tear after 2 weeks of use. After 2 weeks! That is crazy. The seat seems to be made of plastic. I don't feel like I'm protecting my kids. The size is lightweight and slim. It is easy to fit into most situations where a car seat is needed. My kids loved having someone to store their stuff. The straps were easy to install. I've had seats where you need to catch your breath, drink some water and wipe your sweat after installing it in the car. If you are going to use this as a secondary seat for travel or for a grand parent, aunt, or uncle's car, go for it. If you want this to be your child's everyday seat, go for something with a little more quality. It is the only safety measure that could possibly save your child's life.

👤The carseat is light and works well on Southwest Airlines seats. The arm has to be up, but it barely touches the armrest limit. I put it in my carry on and used a travel belt to get it through the airport. It was easy to detach to get through security. After it was detached from the plane, I held it over my head to walk down the isle. It was super light here. I am 5'1. The seat fit over my head and there was room to spare. I was able to use the seatbelt to Buckle, and used a folded cloth over the Buckle to keep it from pressing too much into my toddler's back. He didn't complain. This is not an issue in the plane with their lap belts. There are no issues with the seatbelts in the rental cars. It was comfortable enough for him to sleep in. When we went back to his normal seat, he never complained about the extend2fit seat we use. It's great for travel.

👤We've purchased a lot of seats, but this one felt like it was flimsier. After two weeks of use, a plastic piece near the harness tighten strap broke as I was securing my child in the seat. I liked the idea of a harness that could grow as he got bigger. I will be buying another brand to replace it. I fear how this might hold up in the event of a crash if pieces break just from tightening the belt.

👤I have to leave a review for this product because I am so happy with the results. I have a 2010 corolla and was pretty sure we would need another big vehicle to allow 3 carseats. I researched so much that I found great reviews for the price and they fit. It is snug. I could secure each seat tightly and safely. I don't know if I'll have a baby in the middle or side, but both arrangements fit. The car is not our go-to family car, so we don't envision long trips with the kids in these seats, but we now have peace of mind knowing if the parent who has the car that day needs to go to store / drop off at daycare / etc with all 3 So relieved! You can use the 5 point harness until 65 lbs. When our 5 year old gets to that point, we will assess what to do. It would be very difficult to buck in. The 5 point harness was needed.
