👤I spent the best money I have ever spent. My granddaughter was involved in a car accident. Both cars were totaled after the head on collision. Four adults are injured with broken bones in the middle of two cars. The man in the back seat of the car was flown to the hospital with a broken back. The adults were wearing seat belts. You can imagine the shock. There was no scratch on Ava. She was protected by the car seat with the base locking system. She was saved by this seat with all the safety systems. I don't think what would have happened in a cheap seat would have happened. We retired the seat involved in the accident and ordered a new system to keep her safe.

👤My wife and I bought this travel system. We were overwhelmed with choices when we were first time parents. We were going to buy a much more expensive travel system when we found the Chicco Bravo. It has all the features that the more expensive systems had. It was very easy to set up the system. My wife and I played with it to see how easy it was to fold it up and put it back together. It could not possibly be easy. You can collapse the stroller with a single hand. The weight is even better. We were in stores every weekend playing with different travel systems and none of them were as easy to use as the ChiccoBravo. We held out on some of the higher end travel systems because of the weight. My wife and I can easily lift the stroller into the back of our truck or SUV with the help of the Bravo. The base for the car seat was easy to set up. It took me less than 5 minutes to get to my truck. The car seat is easy to put in and comes out with the pull of a latch. Our little girl is secured in a high quality car seat and I am at ease knowing she is. We have no complaints about the stroller rides. Since I know anyone reading this has read up on all the specifics, I won't list them all here. This travel system is very good for other parents. After spending hours in different baby stores, my wife and I decided this was the best buy, even though we were prepared to spend more money. The travel system makes my wife and I happy. It has held up well and we use it on a regular basis. Parents with other travel systems have commented on how they wish they had purchased the Chicco Bravo. It does everything that many of the overpriced systems do, and in my opinion, it is better.

👤The stroller basket underneath the seat is larger and it is easier to maneuver with the narrower width of the Bravo LE. We chose the LE because we wanted more comfort for our baby. I don't know what the differences are between the LE and Trio, but I can tell you that the LE comes with a child tray, extra canopy for the Key Fit child seat, extendable visor on the stroller, and a child tray. The child seat is more comfortable for the baby with LE. Our baby sleeps better in this car seat than in a crib or a napper. When you remove the seat from the stroller it becomes a light weight child seat carrier. It would be nice if the stroller was a little lighter, but this is a travel system. It's a very high quality product and no hustle trying to remove the child seat from the base. We love it and didn't regret spending the extra money. Highly recommended.

2. Chicco NextFit Max Convertible Seat

Chicco NextFit Max Convertible Seat

The NextFit Max Zip Air has 25% more legroom than other NextFit car seats and a 50 lbs. weight limit, which makes it ideal for older children. With more support for the calf. The 9-position, Easy-Extend Headrest System with one-hand adjustment raises with the 5-point harness to accommodate growth in both modes and a newborn positioner provides support for infants weighing 4-11 lbs. The 3D AirMesh backrest has added features such as zip-off, machine-washable seat pad and improved comfort. DuoGuard protection with a deep rigid shell for head and body support, as well as foam and steel-reinforced frame, offer reassuring protection. It's easier to install with premium LATCH, SuperCinch Force-Multiplying Tightener, Ride Right bubbles levels and a 9-position ReclineSure leveling system. 👤My older child loves the normal nextfit. The nextfit max is less user friendly due to the design changes. The release button is hidden underneath the fabric and you have to dig around to get the right angle to release it. The pull cord has a problem with straps getting lost under the fabric. I regret buying this. I would throw this one out and get the normal one. I believe that it is just as safe and comfortable for a baby as it is for an adult. It's a bigger pain for parents to use.

👤We bought this before we left for Montana on a one-way car trip. Our baby gets very uncomfortable in cheaper car seats and sweats a lot. He was not happy about the trip, but he was very comfortable in this car seat and had no problems taking naps. Highly recommended for long-haul car trips. My husband took less than 10 minutes to install. This seat is easy to clean and has plenty of room for our son to grow.

👤It's the safest car seat in its class on consumer reports and the seat functionally represents that. Our kid is tall and his feet do not fall down. I'm very happy about that. This car seat is larger than others. The forward seat in a small SUV or sedan cannot be pushed back as much as the seat in the back. We are fine with that, but in case someone didn't anticipate it, we will point that out. The harness belt tension release can be pulled down. It takes a bit to get used to. It would be great if it came with two cup holders. It's odd that you pay this much and only 1 is provided, as other brands provide both with the top model seat.

👤A nice car seat. My son doesn't like being put in it every single time. Maybe because he can't see the other side of him. It is very sturdy and has leather on it. I like the different incline positions. I like that it can be washed. It's the best because of the highest safety checks.

👤We have two of these, one for each car. They are easy to use and clean. I would definitely recommend it.

👤It has a tight fit rear facing in the middle row of my suburban, and it has leather on the back of the front seat. It sits at the right angle and can be fixed with a small cloth. It is worth it because of the safety ratings.

👤The car seat is easy to install and has high safety ratings. It is easy to clean if your kid gets motion sick. I have 4 of these for my husband and I and our 2 kids.

👤This is the only one that is easy to install, sturdy and safe.

3. Chicco KeyFit Infant Car Seat

Chicco KeyFit Infant Car Seat

Easiest to install infant car seat has more legroom and stability. The Easy-Extend Headrest System raises with the harness to grow with children up to 32” tall. The anti-rebound bar is integrated into the stay-in-car base for increased stability. Installation features such as SuperCinch force-multiplying tightener and bubble level indicators are top-rated. One-hand, click-in attachment for effortless mobility with compatible strollers. One-hand, click-in attachment for effortless mobility with compatible strollers.

Brand: Chicco

👤The investment in this seat is well worth it because it is extremely safe, easy to use, looks sharp, and will last more than other systems. Installation of this seat is very easy, and you can get it done in a day if you have the correct latch points in your vehicle. If you are traveling in someone else's vehicle, there are easy to follow instructions for installation without the base. Interoperability with stroller systems is very nice. The sun shade is larger than we expected and it protects our girl from the sun, especially in combination with the stroller system, which provides 100% coverage. The seat is going to start showing markings quickly, but it is not a big deal, and most can be cleaned off with a damp rag. The travel system is a good choice for people who are willing to spend money for a reliable and safe system. The biggest con is that it is a little large, which makes it hard to take out smaller cars. The passenger seat needs to be moved back and forth to accommodate the space needed to unlatch the seat. We expected this to be a trade off for getting a car seat that would last longer, and so it isn't something I would lower a rating for. It requires two hands to hit two switches in order to adjust the handle position, and the handle is a tight fit over the sun shade, but these issues only occur when the seat is empty or you are about to take it out of the car. The challenge this provides outweighs the added safety of the handle not swinging free while carrying it.

👤This is a great car seat. It can adjust up and down easily because you don't have to retie the straps as the baby grows. The material is really nice, and I like how comfortable it is. The softer material doesn't ruin because it's down by where shoes will. The sun shade blocks all the sun. It seems like it has more of a recline than others so that baby's head isn't flopping down to their chest which is a huge plus!

👤I received a carseat yesterday and can't stop admiring it. The keyfit 35 eco fabric is amazing. I got it in grey and it is gorgeous. Excellent quality and workmanship. The fabric is thick and smooth. It looks sturdy and comfortable. Chicco has high safety features. I am very impressed with the quality. I got it on a discount and it was a steal. I returned the Cybex Aton smart carseat because it was 2 times more expensive than the hype of smart technology it offered and because it was not good quality. I can't compare the two after receiving this. The Cybex and other carseats I have owned are far worse than this one. Thank you for making quality products at an affordable price.

👤Spectacular safety features combined with a stable base. I'm surprised most parents don't use this model because the anti rotation bar adds stability to the base in any vehicle. The car seat is easy to clean and take apart for deep cleaning. I was able to see what other car seats and seat bases were missing when I tried a few different brands from my neighbors. Don't buy a cheap seat for your baby, buy the best one. I would recommend the Key Fit 35.

4. Chicco OneFit ClearTex All One

Chicco OneFit ClearTex All One

One seat that fits your child, fits your vehicle, and fits your life. The harness is forward-facing. To booster of 100 lbs. The room to grow with extra rear-facing legroom and the widest range of headrest height adjustment fits your child. CupFolders are dishwasher safe and fold in to free up space. ClearTex features no added chemicals and is GREENGUARD Gold Certified for low chemical emissions, which contributes to healthier air quality around baby. Installation features like premium LATCH, SuperCinch force multiplying tightener, Ride Right bubble levels and 9-position ReclineSure leveling system make it easy to install a car seat. 👤I bought this for my baby. In the water. I was going to get a nextfit until I read about the issues with the headrest. I decided on this. It is a new product and it does not fail. I returned a very expensive graco convertible seat because it was causing my daughters chin to push down. A sitting. This didn't do that. Not if you have a small baby. You don't need the inserts because my 5 month old is over 17 lbs. My child is able to turn her head sideways. It is easy to install. It is a tank and I love it.

5. Chicco NextFit Max Convertible Seat

👤Where to start? I love this! I have a matching stroller and infant car seat for my little one. When the baby girl came along, I got my big boy this car seat. He loves it! He says it is warm. It was easy to install and feels snug. No guessing if it is in line with the others. Simple and easy to install, with the right amount of luxury for my sweet girl! Great purchase! Chicco never ceases to impress!

👤The Max is not the same as the 3 brand car seats we have. The harness release button is hidden. It's hard to un the straps. Otherwise love this car seat.

👤I can't rate its features because it's a gift.

6. Chicco KidFit Belt Positioning Booster

Chicco KidFit Belt Positioning Booster

Duo's head and shoulder protection has 10 positions. Premium LATCH connections have a super Cinch 1-pull tightened. The seat has double foam padding. The dishwasher-safe cupholders are easy to hide. 👤The last straw was when the dealership had to cut out a car seat that I couldn't get the belt loose on, after having multiple car seats that were a pain to get in and out. I found this after that. This is so easy to take out. I love this seat. This is something to buy.

👤I bought a seat at Walmart that was more expensive than the current one. It had an option for harness, but we didn't really need it. The seat was terrible, there was a piece of styrofoam in the headrest that rattled all the time. It was not designed to come out as it is energy absorbing. It sounded like I bought a Styrofoam cooler. I ordered this one for my wife's car because I thought we liked his current seat. It is very lightweight and can be installed in less than 2 minutes. My son liked it. My truck has rear inflatable seats belts, so I didn't order one for it. I reached out to Chicco because I saw conflicting information on the internet. The lady in customer service didn't know, so she would call me. I thought I would never hear anything. On Friday, I called at close to 4pm. She told me that my phone was compatible with the seat belt. The second one was installed by me. Don't buy a more expensive brand at Walmart.

👤It is easy to put together and install. The booster can be held in place with the latch system. Light weight makes it easy for a child to Buckle. The seats are too wide in the shoulder area. If you have a small space, the booster will not fit on the seat and the other passengers will not have much room. I would buy this again.

👤The belt positioning is great. The padding on the seat is very nice. It was easy to use. There are clips that are useful. The kid likes that side pillows. The seat is not deep enough. The seat in our van is almost 4 inches beyond the front of the booster. I fear my tall child will be uncomfortable in this seat because it is rated for taller kids.

👤Our son is 9 months old and is on a 99 percentile for his age, so we use to move on in the gear a bit earlier. He feels like a big boy, easy to seat by himself, and seems safe. We put him in the middle back seat of the Santa Fe sport to make room for other guests. The last one was large. I would recommend this product.

👤We have two seats for our kids. They have cup holders for all of their stuff. They are easy to put in your seats, and the belt adjustment on the sides helps place the belt where it is supposed to be. A high quality booster.

👤I bought this seat after my attempt to get my kid a spiderman booster seat failed. The spiderman seat looked cool, but it lacked all the things I love in a Chicco seat. The seat is easy to assemble. The latch system gives it extra stability to prevent it from hitting the car when there is no child in it. The padding on the back is thin, but the headrest padding and seat padding are nice. If your child is short and wide, it may not hold up through age 9. It doesn't affect me, as my kids are walking stick figures, but something to consider if your kids are on the bigger side. If you need to cram in multiple seats in a smaller car, this narrow design is ideal.

7. Rear Facing Infants Compatible Chicco Strollers

Rear Facing Infants Compatible Chicco Strollers

Installation is simple, accurate and secure with two bubble-level indicators and a spring loaded leveling foot for proper base angle in the vehicle seat. The infant car seat and stroller combo is convenient with compatible strollers. It is easy to remove with a two-position carry-handle and one-hand release. Innovative SuperCinch Force-Multiplying LATCH Tightener helps achieve a secure fit in the vehicle and the carrier shell is lined with energy-absorbing foam for improved impact protection. From the first day, the car seat has an infant head and body support insert. The Key Fit Infant Car Seat is for babies between 4-22 lbs. And up to 30” tall. Brand: Chicco

👤This product is very good. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone due to the fact that it and the stroller that goes with it are useless once your child outgrows the seat. There are car seats that are compatible with strollers that can be used on their own. The travel systems are a better investment. We spent $380 for an extra base, seat, and stroller, which only lasted us 6 months. Our child is on the tall end of the spectrum, but I wish I had done more research.

👤Our family was in a car accident that happened on a two lane highway. Our 3 month old daughter survived the crash without a scratch and sat in this seat. The other 4 of us were injured. Safety should be the top priority with car seats. Ignore the color, weight, and ease of use. This seat is important for the safety of your kids. I will only buy their seats. Drive.

👤I bought a stroller frame and a car seat. I'm happy with both products. The handle for the carrier is quietly raised so that it doesn't wake the baby. If the baby is sleeping, the stroller is quiet and the click in feature makes it ideal. The level markers on the seat made it easy for my husband and I to put it in right. The lever in the back can be used to remove the car seat from the stroller.

👤I'm on baby number 5, so I would like to think I know what I'm talking about. At least when it comes to car seats. I'm not sure. anyways... I've had chicco and graco, and I've won both. The fabric is thick and comfortable, yet easy to remove and reassemble, making for efficient cleaning, and it is easy to get in and out of the car. It's worth the money.

👤5 kids. Not our first rodeo. The worst seat ever! Don't. The Baby Trend brand carseat is 2 inches shorter than the one we used for 4 kids. The release handle is crammed between the back of the car's front seat and it's horrible. It was very difficult for me to let the seat go from the base. Really... We can't even get the seat out of the base. The front of the car is where the release handle must be pulled. The back of the car's front seat is where the hand is located. The carrying handle should be out of the way. The shade canopy and the release buttons pinched my fingers. It was like a son-of-a-gun. It's very hard to avoid! The engineers are either morons or have never had kids. Parents should be hired to test your products. It should be back asap. Cheers!

👤We had a car accident with this car seat when we got rear ended by a texting driver and were sandwiched into another car. Air bags were deployed on her side of the car. My husband broke his hand, but my baby seems to have been unaffected. We ordered the same car seat again because we know it does its job well.

8. Chicco NextFit Sport Convertible Graphite

Chicco NextFit Sport Convertible Graphite

BUILT TO GROW is a rear-facing or forward-facing car seat that has a 9-position easy-adjust headrest and padded no-rethread 5-point harness to accommodate infants, toddlers and beyond. It is easy to install with simple leveling and tightening. The LockSure belt-locking system and SuperCinch force-multiplying tightener make it easy to get a tight fit with LATCH or the vehicle seat belt. The cupholder is dishwasher safe and the fabrics are machine washable. Superior DuoGuard with deep rigid shell for head and body support and EPS energy foam and steel-reinforced frame offer reassuring protection. Premium LATCH connections with click-on attachment and push-button release make it easy to switch between modes in a convertible car seat. Premium LATCH connections with click-on attachment and push-button release make it easy to switch between modes in a convertible car seat.

Brand: Chicco

👤We have had a few different car seats, but this one is our favorite. The frame is strong and reinforced for me. My husband and I are both paramedics and have seen many car seats in accidents, and this one stood out to me as one of the safest, and it held up well in some of the more serious crashes. My kids preferred this seat over the others because it has the most cushion. The zip feature makes it easier to clean the fabric. I have had this seat for two kids and it is still in perfect condition. It feels safe, that's a plus. The sides are protected from every angle. It is a bit bulky but we didn't mind since it felt more safe than others. The push button system is a great feature. This is something I want on any seat I purchase because of the system that has ruined me. The clips and straps are no longer used. This seat is well worth the cost.

👤The NextFit ix's we replaced were in use when our vehicle was rear-ended. Both Kiddos were secured correctly and were not injured. Our oldest is close to the rear-facing weight limit on the original NextFit. The NextFit Zip Max can rear face up to 50 lbs. The Max is a bit bigger in feel and depth than the other side. Both of these are expected. When rear-facing the seats, we had to move our front seats up a bit to fit the larger size. The strap that you pull to tighten the harness is something that I have mixed feelings about. I like that it was moved inwards on the seat. The strap is being pulled underneath the cover when the harness is loosened. I wish there was a better stop mechanism in place so I wouldn't have to fish this out from under the cover.

👤When my son outgrew his Britax infant seat, I decided to go with the Graco Extend2fit because of its great reviews and moderate price. My son would scream the entire time he was strapped in. I couldn't get a good fit for my son or the seat itself. I tried the Britax Boulevard ClickTight. I have always used Britax car seats with my children, and I had high hopes for this one. The second row bucket seats in my car are huge. I had to return the seat because I couldn't get it to fit. I decided to give the Chicco seat a try because it gets great reviews on Consumer Reports and it doesn't make the "safest or best convertible car seat" list. I could tell that this seat was different from the other ones when my son didn't cry or fuss when I put him in it. The installation of this car seat is very simple and it really does take a quick pull of each strap, so I went to install it myself and it is rock solid. The fit of my child seat is perfect, even though I had to use a foam child seat positioner. My son loves it, it fits in my bucket seats. It seems to be one of the safest. I am very pleased with this purchase. Thank you Amazon and Chicco!

10. Diono Convertible Adjustable Ultimate Protection

Diono Convertible Adjustable Ultimate Protection

The 12 position headrest creates a safe and comfortable fit for booster seat modes. The support line is padded for added comfort. It can be used from 5 to 120 lbs or 2.2 to 54 lbs. It is possible to fit 3 passengers across in a small space, but only 17” wide. RearFACING FOR LONGER is designed to keep your child rear-facing for as long as possible up to 50 lbs. RearFACING FOR LONGER is designed to keep your child rear-facing for as long as possible up to 50 lbs.

Brand: Diono

👤We bought a radian for our second child and loved it. It is the most secure car seat I have ever strapped my kid into, and we have owned a lot of Graco and installed in several different models and types of car. I had to fight for more than 30 minutes in my mom's Ford Explorer with Graco and wanted to set the car on fire after she made me move it over in the hot Texas weather. I install mine and won't move it for any force in heaven or hell unless I am flying, so it's not like I do a daily ruck march with it. Diono is giving you a crappy, thin car seat cover and charging the same price as they did before. The difference between the two year model and the 3RXT is so large that you can tell they have changed their minds. I don't see how it isn't going to pill in the wash because it has less padding and is thinner. My child is going to destroy it. Most of the pics are in the "feel", but I have included a reference to old versus new. The fabric in the upper trim series car seat is supposed to last 10 years and cost $300, but I find this very disappointing. It's the same microfiber that I use on a couple of wal-mart $30 booster seats, or on universal car covers. I think it will turn green in the sun. The color of my radian ixt is the same as when I bought it two years ago and it has been washed a lot. I thought the car seat I received was the wrong one, because it said "Radian R" and the fabric was not stamped with the words. I think my confusion is reasonable because it shows on the box as "Radian RXT". They have pictures on their website and on Amazon. Nope. They are all the same fabric. Diono, car seats are expensive when you have to replace them constantly as you have kids, or have more than one so you aren't dealing with the logistics of changing cars with your spouse or parents just to get kids from point A to point B. Parents can easily save a lot of money by buying something less expensive. I wonder if they are as innovative as Diono claims, because I see a star there for the cheapness. If a company wants to repeat business, they need to do things well across the board. I came back because I loved it so much. I'm not sure if I need another one or if they'll go back to better covers. For reference, these install amazingly well in Toyota corolla, Sienna and Highlander and even the tiny Prius, but rear face in a Prius puts the front seat up too far for anyone over 5'6 to sit comfortably. You will still be angry if its leather, because they really didn't want anyone to use them and they are set too close together, so cranking down and getting the seat tight enough is a hassle. Don't let the entertainment package on a Ford Explorer fool you, not a young family with car seats.

11. Chicco KeyFit Infant Seat Base

Chicco KeyFit Infant Seat Base

The versatile stay-in-car base accepts all of the Chicco Key Fit Infant Car Seats. The anti-rebound bar has added stability and more legroom. It's easy to install because of top-rated features like SuperCinch force-multiplying LATCH tightener. Proper base angle in the vehicle seat can be achieved with the help of spring-loaded leveling foot and Ride Right bubble levels. LockSure steel-reinforced lock-offs provide a secure install. LockSure steel-reinforced lock-offs provide a secure install.

Brand: Chicco

👤This was purchased as a second base. The base came with the stroller system I purchased. Each of our cars has one that I bought. It is very easy to install the car seat system. The car seat is very secure.

👤I needed another base for my husband's truck because I don't want to swap it back and forth, even though they say you can use it without it. I prefer the base and my anxiety has been pretty good. It is worth it for the convenience, but I wish it was a little more affordable.

👤We did not need a whole car seat for our new granddaughter carrier. It's much better than having a whole car seat in the way.

👤It was ordered for our second vehicle. The key fit 35 perfectly. The same as the base that came with the travel system. It could not be simpler to install. It takes about 5 minutes to install.

👤I love the chicco system. The base for the car seat is very easy to use.

👤They loved it as a baby shower gift.

👤We bought this extra base so that I could be in my SO's car. It is nice to have just in case, but they don't use it.

👤This is easy to install in a car and it's also easy to get the seat in and out of the car. The design is very sleek and not bulky. We got one for both cars because we liked it so much.
