👤Highly recommend! My son is 4 years old. 2.5 months ago, we got into a horrible car accident. I hit a pole, my car was totaled, and my son had minor whiplash and was released from the hospital the same day. I broke my nose, left ankle, right knee and was 800-273-3217 I have to give credit to this seat for his injuries being so minimal. I bought him another one last week because my car caught on fire in the accident and the seat did as well.

👤I don't usually write reviews. This car seat in the high back booster mode saved my five year olds life this Christmas Eve. Her grandmother was with her. The car flipped onto its side. The side of the car. She was in the driver's seat. We left the church service with her and our little boy. Daddy. We rode home. She does not have a scratch. I am amazed. Our guardian angels in heaven were watching over her tonight and she was safe and secure thanks to the car seat. The family with young children in the other car were safe as well. I have always purchased graco. I will continue to do that. Their customer service is excellent.

👤This is the second seat I've bought, so I'm going to write a review. The seat held up well in a crash. The seat was installed on the side. My husband and daughter came home safely that evening thanks to Ford and Graco. There is no higher praise for a car seat. This is the seat I recommend to everyone with forward facing kids and those with multiple kids. It's perfect for 3 situations. It is easy to install and second to none in my experience. I keep this in our second car so that I can adjust it between my three daughters with ease. They all say it's comfortable. I've had experience with a lot of different car seats and seat combinations with three young children and two cars. The seat is simple and has been my go-to seat recently. It's not fancy, it's not expensive, but it kept my daughter alive, and that's all I could ask for.

👤I thought I could help someone out by writing a review. I almost returned it the night I got it. I researched online for tips to get a good install. I tried tolatch first, but theadjuster kept getting in the way. I couldn't get the seat belt tight enough after locking it. The trick is to leave enough slack in the seat belt to pull as hard as you can until the seat belt is absolutely tight, then lock the retractor and put the excess in. Without pulling the belt horizontally, it wiggled 3 or more inches. It's not safe for a crash. I'm glad for forums online and tips for a tight install. Hope this helps.

👤I bought this in October for a baby shower gift. The window of return closes one month before the baby's due date. I should have thought about the possibility of returning it because I love graco car seats. The baby came 4 weeks early after the window of return. She is 6 lbs and this model does not have a small infant insert. There is no support for the head of an infant. I can't return this unsafe seat because it's not safe. Until now, I have never been disappointed by anything.

👤The only people I could find who received the product for free were people who had limited reviews online. Here's my regular consumer review. We are expecting baby #2 in May and used the regular Snugride click connect 35 with our 1st child, so I will make some comparisons to that model. I got this on sale for $60 off and it was a great deal at $112 with tax. The new carseat base from Graco really hit it out of the park. You can either thread the seatbelt across the base and through the holes or you can thread the strap across the base and through the holes. The carseat instruction manual can be stored in the front storage case of the latch straps. You hook the seatbelt or latch straps into the car, and then put the arm down, and it locks with a click. This is a lockoff, so that the strap cannot move around, and you get a really tight, secure install of the base. The old click connect 35 base was a bit of a pain to install because the seatbelt or latch strap still moved when threaded through the holes in the base, there was no lock off. It's sometimes difficult to get the straps tight, because you have to pull so hard. The base would still move under the straps. This is 100 times better and safer than before. The hook attachment on the LATCH straps isn't as nice as the button attachment. If you upgrade to the "fancier" 35 versions, you will get the 1 button release attachment. The latch hooks were not worth an extra $100 to me because of the sale price. The click connect base has an adjustment for recline position, but the base with the recline position is different. The dial is no longer red, but a handle and a plastic ramp that come out from the bottom. The new snuglock model is a nicer feature than the old base and it's easier to use. The seat is a little nicer than the old one. The outer textiles are nice, but the seat part is more of a "rough" fabric, similar to their older model fabric. I'm not sure why they chose to have two different types of fabric, the rougher one where the child sits, and the more water and stain resistant one, which is nice when you have a baby in there. The fabric on the seat might be more modern than the ones on the deluxe models. The newborn insert is flatter and doesn't wrap around the baby's head, just pads on the side. It feels thicker than the older 35 insert. It's not as big as the current inserts. If you research, I don't think these newborn inserts do much in regards to accident safety, they just make parents feel better, and help position baby in the seat. The older model insert did not do the job for that purpose, but this insert does. The weight is great and lightweight. The seat is on the lighter end of infant seats. I picked up a snugride 40 and a britax b safe in the store. I ruled them out because of the weight being too heavy for me to carry around all the time. The inner seat fabric is softer than the canopy. It is not as rough as my old 35 fabric. I don't know terms for textiles. The canopy of the elite version in the store was soft, thin, and high end, and this is a much cheaper fabric. The older model is more difficult to move. You have to wiggle and fight with it to get it to go up and down. The older canopy moved more easily and didn't have audible clicks, so it's a downgrade. The smooth gliding canopy is also available in the deluxe versions. They decided to "cheap out" with this canopy. It's probably my least favorite feature. The older 35 model does not extend as far as this canopy does, but it is still nice and can be a pain to get past the handle. The handle moves by pushing the red buttons on each side. I am a person with no coordination and this is not an issue for me. I don't think a button in the middle of the handle is worth an extra $100. Sometimes the canopy has to be moved out of the way as the handle moves. Standard harness straps are used. The harness has a re-thread feature, but the other models have a no re-thread feature. It's not a big deal with an infant carseat because you can easily remove it from the base and get to the back. When your child becomes front-facing, the no re-thread harness is great because it makes adjusting the straps easier. The no-rethread option is nice, but it's not really worth the extra cost on the infant seat. There's no difficulty in rethreading the straps. The crotch strap is easy to pull, some seats are hard to tighten and adjust, but this one is smooth and effortless. The only thing I don't like about the seats is the button to loosen the crotch strap, which is reached by sticking your finger in the hole. Since it's hidden, it's not intuitive. If someone else takes the baby, I need to remind them how to tighten the straps, because you have to finagle your finger around to find the metal button. I hope they update this feature in the future. The little carseat strap covers were an unexpected bonus. They're soft and a little perk. The older 35 seat did not have them. I really recommend this seat. I think it is on sale for a bit less at some retailers. The new snuglock base is an improvement over the old click connect base. The seat has some nice improvements, but it felt a little cushier than the previous model. If you want more features like no-rethread hardness or a bigger snuglock base, you should upgrade to the more expensive model.

👤This is our 8th car seat and 5th child. We have had several before this one. It's my favorite of all the car seats we've ever had, so I had to review it. It's seriously. The Diono is heavy and difficult to adjust to, the Britax is cumbersome, and the Evenflos are cheap and thin. None of them have covers that are easy to wash. The covers are easy to put back together. The metal parts you want to be safe and sturdy are latches, tether, etc. The adjusting pieces are large and easy to grasp. Oh! That is the other thing. I couldn't get my hand into any of the others in the way I needed to, not for adjusting, not for installing, and not for moving stuff around. I can get my paw through the appropriate areas. The harness adjustment feature is enough to give repeat business. I didn't say anything dirty while installing. Heeheehee

👤I couldn't ask for a better car seat when I bought it at Target. My daughter is 16 months old and still rear facing, she is very comfortable with the extended leg room. She was laughing and playing in the back seat of the car that was totaled in the accident, even though nothing happened. I just added it to my cart and will be buying it again for my new car.

👤I was frustrated with how hard it was to tighten the seatbelt. You need to have the strength of 10,000 people to tighten it. I figured it out. Pull the slack from around the child's hips once the chest clip and belt are buckled. The chest clip and shoulder strap covers should be lowered. The slack is above the chest clip. The strap needs to be tightened. It will be very easy. We shouldn't have to go through this, but once you know how to do it, it's not bad. It is easy to remove the cover, but it is not so easy to put it on. The seat cover is secured with small elastic loops. The loops need to be threaded through small holes to reach the hook. If you don't have a crochet hook, you will throw the seat away. With the crochet hook, I was able to thread the elastic loop through the small holes and over the fastening hooks with very little effort.

👤We don't plan ahead very well. We were worried when our kid was upgraded to a convertible car seat. We weren't sure if we would be able to find a small car that fit my wife's small car. We looked for a budget friendly car seat because we are already spending an arm and leg for diaper changing. We wanted something to keep him calm. We have three digit temperatures where we are located, which means we have something that could fit in a corolla and the passenger didn't have to move their seat to the point where they were kissing the dash. The fact that it grows with the child makes it a better investment than a budget friendly convertible seat. The fabric allows our son to breathe during the hot days. He gets a little sweat on his back but that is normal with all car seats. I know he doesn't mind the seat because he always passes out with each car ride. We were able to keep the front passenger and driver seat in the back of the car. I enjoy any little leg room I can get. This seat is perfect for your child.

👤The baby rode in the car with no problems, because we were using an old car seat. She would cry after about 10 minutes and wouldn't stop. Her back and head were drenched with sweat when we got her out of the seat. She would scream until she was out of the seat, because we had the A/C blowing directly on her. Her arms and legs were cold and her back and head were hot. She would get overheated even in a comfortable temperature. There are warnings on the back of the seat that are not removed. She has had no issues with overheating since we switched back to the old seat. They never responded to my email, which was terrible. I am returning the seat because of the wonderful customer service I received from Amazon.

👤We have been using this car seat for about a month now and we have to forcefully push the seat into the vase for it to click. When we take the car seat out of the car, it won't open from the base. It gets stuck and won't release unless you forcefully wiggle it, which seems like it could compromise the integrity of the locking mechanism. I wish I could return it but it is not an option since it is being used.

👤We already own a Graco 4ever and purchased a second one. We are completely satisfied with this one and it is very similar to the other one. The 4ever has a few additional features, but I don't think they are better than the MySize. The MySize style would be more comfortable with these straps. I removed the comfortable head rest cushions on the sides because they seemed to push her head forward. I think the MySize might be a bit easier, though we haven't done it yet, because they both have strap slots on the sides to hold the straps. The people say the Buckle is not long enough. It is easy to adjust the seat in your vehicle if you rethreading the buckle on the bottom side. I believe people are only adjusting the position through the fabric slots, not the plastic of the seat. If you do it correctly, the entire buckle will remain the same length if you do it correctly. It is long if done correctly. I tried this seat in the store and thought it was hard to adjust the strap length when she was sitting in it, but the new one seems to be fine. I don't know what causes that. If it becomes an issue, I'll try to update. I thought the 4ever would feel better in the safety as well. This one is just as safe. The seat does not move around in the vehicle. I've heard people say that the top of their carseat can wiggle because the base is narrow, but this is not the case. The base is wide and the seat is low. If we were buying again, we would go with the MySize because the extra money doesn't seem to give you any valuable features and I think this one will be more comfortable for her. The shoulder strap covers under the chest buckle seem to fit better and can reach the cup holder.

👤This is a good size for a small car. This fits both front and rear of my car. It does not require that the front seats be pushed up too far or too close to the dash.

👤I have a carseat for my 1 and 2 year olds, which still uses it rear facing. The only complaint I had was that the buckle pinched their legs when I fastened their belts. Someone said there is a way to adjust the seat belt under the seat. The problem of leg pinching is solved by taking the seat out and adjusting it there. I tried it and both my boys are fine. I hope other parents will see this and it will help them. I thought you had to completely remove the car seat to adjust it. I was able to move it without removing the seat.

👤When our twins were 15 months old, we got these. We needed something that would fit in our small car. It works well in a small car with no sacrificing of leg room, which is important to me since I am tall. It was long lasting. We have used this for over 4 years because our twins are almost 6. We will probably change to boosters because they are easier for school to drop off. The fabric can be washed when needed. Pulling up on the handle can easily adjust the straps heights. There are small pockets on both sides of the seat that can be used to store the buckle. Being able to put one in the seat and easily put them up without having to use the straps is a lifesaver for me. The seat is comfortable and the fabric is soft, even after a lot of cleanings. Installation is easy. Can't think of anything else that would be better than an additional cup holder. My kids have used these items the longest. You can find good seats with bells and whistles, but why bother? These have been worth it. We were very pleased with our purchase.

👤I wish I could give this seat a 3.5 star rating, but that option doesn't exist, so I went up to a four instead of a three. This car seat has been with us since February of 2016 It's been about 8 months since I wrote this, and it's been one year. When we purchased this car seat for my son, he was just one year old. He is an average sized child. We were in a passenger side impact car accident on the freeway last week and need to replace this car seat because my son was in it when it was side swiped. As I was thinking about what I would like in the next car seat, I thought about some things I don't like about this car seat, as well as some things I like. I thought it would be helpful for people to see my list of pros and cons after using the Condender 65 for over a year and a half. I kept my son safe in the car accident. The five point harness system was still installed tightly and there were no visible signs of damage. It's really affordable. It was cheap, but not cheap quality-wise. I didn't want to spend $300 on a Britax car seat if I could get away with it. I never considered the cup holder when buying a car seat because my son was barely a year old, but it has been great for holding toys, drinks, and snacks. It's easy to clean. The Britax and Chicco convertible models don't have cup holders built in which is a big problem for me. The ones that clip on seem flimsy and I've read a lot of mixed reviews that make those kinds of cupholders seem more an "afterthought" and don't really feel like a part of the seat. My son knows that he would pull them off and throw them on the floor. I read a review where a mom said her child did this for $30 to sit on the floor of their car. It's fairly light without feeling flimsy. It is 15.2 lbs, which sounds right to me. My niece has a Britax Pioneer car seat that is 26 lbs. The "Simply Safe Adjust" harness system at the top of the car seat is very convenient. It's nice to be able to press a button and pull it as your child grows, instead of having to re-thread the straps. It's easy to rethread the buckle. There is no "recline" button, but this could be a pro or con. If you are using the seat for forward or rear facing, you just flip the little wedge at the base of the seat. I never had an issue with it. We used it for both forward and rear facing. The little ball that indicates proper positioning was in the perfect place each time, without any adjustments or boosting in my Honda Pilot. Black straps! They hide the stains and clean them easily. All of the cons are personal preference and convenience issues. I have no doubt that this car seat is safe. It is difficult to move this seat from one car to another. The cheaper 'hook' style of straps are the ones that are used in cars, not the nicer ones that have a button like a seatbelt. They're a problem to get out of. It's a pain and a half to get in and out of my parents' BMW 5 series and my husband's Honda Civic, so I've transferred this from my Honda Pilot to my husband's Honda Civic. I end up sweaty and swearing. It is not helpful that the strap you use to adjust the seat is only on one side, so you have to climb into your vehicle or mess with it. We had to change it twice. When it came out of the box, my son was in the back of the car, and the adjuster was on the left side of the seat. It's more convenient to have the strap on the side of the door. You have to thread the belt through the seat because you can't just pull it out. When my son switched to forward facing, we had to adjust it again. These are the little things that you don't want to waste time on as a parent. If you could adjust the slack/tightness from both sides, it would be much more convenient. The little bar clip with a button that allows you to adjust the latch belt on the one side is very frustrating to use. It does nothing when you press it half the time. It is supposed to let go of its grip on the belt so you can get slack in the belt to remove the latch from the car or tighten it. My friend's car seat has an issue with the latch button. I am not a bad person, but I have lost patience trying and sometimes I have to ask my husband to mess with it. Stains. I have always been too lazy to take the entire cover off and wash it, even though I was positive I could remove the seat after the accident, because I didn't think I could do it. I have never been able to get the stains out of the seat insert with bleach. I wish they were easier to clean because it looks filthy, unfortunately, with a toddler it's unavoidable. I couldn't get the stains out of this seat, so I gave up. We had a seat in Glacier. The gray is shown in a photo. If you remove the lighter gray seat pad, the stains won't show. The little pad has always been left in for comfort. My friend with the same car seat has said that they washed the seat after their daughter had an accident and it took quite some time to dry. She didn't think the fabric would hold up to multiple machine washings. The five point harness that goes over the child is very difficult to use. I had a lot of issues with them not adjusting equally, which is unsafe. The straps seem prone to twisting and making the buckle backwards. The pull strap at the base of the seat can be difficult to pull tight enough. I felt like I would be pulling and yanking and it wouldn't be tight enough, so it drove me crazy. There is no recline handle to adjust the seat's incline. This could be considered a pro or con depending on how you look at it. The most important thing about the Contender 65 is that it kept my son safe in an accident, even though I didn't care for it much. We decided on the 4Ever car seat from Graco because I have faith in them. It fixes most of the "cons" on this list and has all of the features I loved about the Contender 65. I paid $238 for it on Amazon, but the price has fluctuated, and I've seen it as low as $199 on Amazon.

👤The 4ever xtend2fit was advertised for a black friday sale. My wife and I got one of these for a good price from the babies and we are closing sales. We have a second baby on the way in April and thought we could use one in each car until we need both. The description was read by me. It has a tightlatch system. We have the same thing. The issue is here. I notice different colors and click through. The other "color" options were cheaper. I understand that manufacturers sell less popular colors for less. It happens all the time. If you change the color, you also change the product. The 4ever extend2fit is still said to be. It's not the same as the EZ Tight LATCH system. Their basic one is more difficult to tighten. To take it out. That is a large task. If this doesn't get resolved, I will be returning the product and buying a different brand. I don't like the idea of advertising and changing the product description to make it look different.

👤The car seat has grown with my child over the last 3 years. She is a tall girl and it has fit her perfectly. It is very easy to adjust to her needs and secure her car. I don't mind taking a few extra minutes to install her seat because I know she's safe. The quality and safety features of the car seat make up for the fact that it is a little heavy. Our car was totaled in the accident. The impact was so hard that we spun our car around in a circle and the tail light came out on the other side of my car. Her car door was split in half. My daughter walked away with a bruise on her forehead and a side impact cushion. She has had more injuries than this from falling. Her car seat didn't budge at all. Even though it was a hard impact, it was completely secured. After looking at photos, doctors at the ER were surprised that she had only a bruise. I am so thankful for this seat. We replaced her seat with the same one and didn't think twice.

👤We had this seat for about 8 months and liked the idea of it being a one and done seat. We started potty training. One time the seat was soaked by our daughter. I took the seat out, cleaned it, and put it back in the car. The smell of urine was present in the car about 3 days later. The seat was the source. I took it out again and realized that it was impossible to get to the base because of the urine. I need to either buy a new seat or deal with the smell. It is hard to buy a new seat for the amount we paid, but the smell is overwhelming. If you decide to buy this seat, make sure to put down pee pads during potty training.

👤We decided on a big kid seat for our 6 year old after looking at many different options. He loves the arm rests and cupholders and is happy that he can now. If you don't check the height and weight requirements, your child may not like the seatbelt position. If you liked this review and it was helpful to you, please mark it as helpful and check out some of my other reviews. Please ask if you have any questions.

👤I may replace our 3 in 1 car seat with one because it was bought as an extra car seat. The cup holders collapse into the sides for more space if you have a third person in the back.

👤My grandson is too big for a car seat. The transitional seat is this one. It is very easy to use. He uses the shoulder harness. There is a piece that adjusts the shoulder strap. Most people don't realize they need to replace boosters and car seats after accidents, but I am pretty sure this seat will last longer than we need it to. Hopefully that won't happen. I always update my reviews if new information seems useful. I hope this information was helpful to you.

👤I don't own a car and I use ride-sharing services a lot. It's lighter to carry when I'm with my child. He's 4 ft tall. Public transportation is always in the way. It's light, which was a problem with a standard car seat. I have to have a seat for my child in a moving vehicle. This seat has helped me many times. Normally people would travel with their child in their laps, but I always have a seat.

👤The small human was unavailable to be photographed, but he was highly approving of the booster seat's design, while the larger humans were against it. Getting the first arm in was more difficult than it should have been, but I eventually figured it out. He gets his belt placement in the correct spot because it feels sturdy. The instructions were a little dicey and probably could have been a little clearer when it came to assembly, but they were very clear when it came to how tobuckle the child in, which I appreciated.

👤The booster seat is great for boys and girls. It is easy to install on your car seat. The seat belt drop is holding it down for the child, but I have to adjust it every day. My kid is on the lightest weight side of the seat, but I have concerns about the safety of it, it slides around on the car, and my kid is on the lightest weight side. It is easy for a child to learn how to wear a seatbelt, but I wish I had kept the strap at his shoulder height. I had to do a bunch of extra knots and rig up a way to get the seatbelt to hold at the right level, and it doesn't look the prettiest, but it does the job. The cupholders are easy for the child to open and close, and I like that you can talk them away if you don't use them.

👤No need to look anymore, it looks very secure. The car seat can be taken out of the base. Excellent quality material! There is nothing I dislike about this car seat. I am very happy with this purchase. It is definitely worth the price. Happy mama over here! Thank you!

👤It's nicer than the snug ride 35 lite elite.

👤It is rated for 4 lbs and up, so it was just the ticket for our baby. The national consumer rating group has an excellent safety rating. It is possible to put the car seat directly into the stroller so you don't have to take the baby out of the seat when you run out of gas.

👤I love this seat. The features make it easy to use and comfortable for the baby. It fits into my Modes stroller and makes me happy.

👤They absolutely love it, it was purchased as a gift.

👤It was there before my daughter-in-law's baby shower. It will work for my granddaughter.

👤I love this carseat. It works well for my preemie and she will grow with it.

👤Excellent quality with great safety ratings. The next day, I arrived and it was adorable.

👤My daughter has been using this seat for at least 2 years. We were in an accident. The impact was on the side of the car. Her head and body were stable thanks to this seat. I have to replace her last seat since the crash was not minor, so I will purchase this seat again.

👤I have bought four of these seats. I was involved in a car accident in which I slammed into two other cars. My four year old was restrained in a booster seat. The car seat did what it was designed to do and my child walked away with no injuries. The seat gets two thumbs up from my family.

👤The carseat is easy to install, but it doesn't last very long because of the latches and the fact that my child is buckled in. This is only used as our secondary carseat, and the back part doesn't stay put. It immediately falls back down when we adjust it upward. At this point, it's a safety hazard. We have tried contacting Graco customer service, but their service is very slow. It took three weeks for an initial response after we tried e-mailing. We called in the meantime. They initially wanted our receipt after sending us an e-mail with a claim number. We immediately sent it back. They took two weeks to respond. We e-mailed back within the day after they requested a video of the defect. We have not received a reply for three weeks. Avoid this product and save yourself money. We have two other Graco carseats that we love, but this booster seat is not one of them.

👤It works in my Honda Odyssey's captain chair. The addition of the latch is an awesome addition, it eliminates the sliding on my leather seats and the need to Buckle it when not in use. The belt guide allows the belt to glide through without getting stuck and I returned the booster I bought because I found another one that did the same thing. My 6 year old loves the red color and says it is comfy. The features this seat has are worth the price. It is great for a seat under $50 and adjusts up to 20 inches. It should last any child.

👤My extra tall 5 year old daughter feels comfortable in this carseat, it is easy to install, and it is easier to use on my Nissan Altima with the latch system. I used a 3 in 1 that was really good, secure, and well padded, but too bulky for a sedan, and I had to upgrade from a Safety 1st grow and go. She has a Safety 1st Alpha Elite 65 as her second carseat and it matches my car color and looks really good. The arm rest should be adjusted. It's ok for the price. I hope I don't have to buy another carseat as it will convert to a booster seat.

👤There were no issues with the installation of the ford f 150. I ordered a nice seat for my car. The plastic cup under the booster seat is still used by many people who didn't read the set up directions. Come on. It's one of the steps in getting the seat set up.

👤I worked as a child passenger safety technician. I have installed many seats and have training on how to use them. I feel very confident in my ability to review this seat because I am a mom. The pros are 1. It is easy to install in multiple vehicles. I installed it in three and had no issues getting a snug fit or a bad recline. I used the seatbelt and LATCH. There was no leaning even with a locked lap belt, as can be seen with some seats. 2. The base and seat are very light. This makes it easy to maneuver the seat. 3. The seat is very strong. I didn't have to twist or slide it to get it to lock in. It was also easily disengaged. 4. It's a nice size and can weigh 35 lbs. Most babies will be able to use this seat for a long time. 5. It is compatible with strollers. 6. The harness feels secure. It adjusts easily. The cons are 1. There is no padding in this seat. The cover has a small amount, but the baby is sitting on hard plastic. 2. The stitching on the harness material is terrible. It pokes into the baby's legs. 3. The infant insert is useless. The head support piece is not good. It is a big safety issue that people will add after market inserts to the seat. 4. The seat cover is cheap and itchy. The cover is held on small pieces of plastic. I gave the seat four stars. It fits a baby well. It is never safe to install a seat that won't install well. The simple install of this seat would make it very safe and a parent would be more likely to install it correctly. Read the directions. If you think you know what you're doing, do this. My other complaints are related to comfort and appearance. This is not a high end seat, but it will do the job.

👤The seat is great. We upgraded our car seats after someone rear ended our vehicle. I read many reviews for different seats and chose this one. I was so impressed by the lever that makes it easy to install the base firmly in the car. The infant insert is very small. I swapped it out for a convertible seat because I didn't feel like it gave my little one enough support. It is difficult for my hand to squeeze the lever to open the seat. Sometimes the head end will release but the feet end will still be caught. I am 5'3" and am trying to get the seat from the base of the SUV to the back seat. It takes all my strength and I can barely open the door. It might not be an issue if our vehicle was lower to the ground. Someone who doesn't want to shake their baby around while trying to get the seat unlatched from the base is in danger. I am very happy with the quality of the seat.
