👤A few days ago, I looked in the mirror and saw a car coming towards us, not stopping, as my car was stopped in a typical highway backup. I was able to say before impact that he was going to hit us. The car hit us at 50 mph. My wife was in the passenger seat, our 4 year old son was behind me, and we had another empty car seat behind me. The wreck was happening in slow motion and I was thinking of my 4 year old. The paramedics took him to the hospital. My wife and I only had minor neck injuries because of his car seat. The empty rear facing model held up. I always read reviews and safety ratings, but never thought I would be in that situation. If it happens to you, you want a car seat like this. I am buying a new one to replace the one that was destroyed.

👤My daughter was kept alive by this car seat. This one was replaced by the exact same model.

👤My child is big and tall, and his head would flop forward when he fell asleep in his carseat. I researched several seats before we decided on this one. The infant seat we used was a key fit from Chicco. This one is just as easy to use. My favorite features are 1. This model is lighter in weight than many other models, but has many important safety features. 2. I don't feel like I'm putting my son into a spaceship with the padding around the headrest. The shape of the headrest "wings" makes it possible for him to see out the windows of the car. 3. When he falls asleep in the car, his head rests against the wing of the car, not at an awkward angle like it did in his convertible. 4. The cupholders have been useful. The flexible material makes it feel less fragile and cheap. 5. It's easy to keep this seat clean. The hard pieces can be wiped down easily if you remove the cover. 6. It was easy to install. I have a seat from another brand that is better, but it's hard to get in and out of cars and airplanes. The level and guide labels make it easy. 7. It seems like it's based on recent research and technology. The seats that have been selling well for a long time are not the only ones that have been changed. It's a well-executed design with thoughtful shaping of safety features that still allow for a comfortable experience. I was shopping for a toddler harness booster and decided between the Britax models and this one. I want my child to be safe, but also comfortable. I'm sure a Britax seat would have been a good choice, but I'm glad we went with the Chicco My Fit.

👤I can't say enough good things about Chicco car seats. Our young man just turned 4 years old, and this is his 3rd Chicco. We went from the KeyFit to the NextFit and now we love it! He could have ridden in the NextFit for a while, but we have a new addition in the family so this guy graduated to the big boy seat so his little cousin could have the size down. Every Chicco we have has been worth every penny we have spent, they look great, are easy to use and adjust, and are leaps and bounds above the competition. If you are looking for a car seat or booster, we would recommend anything made by Chicco.

2. KidsEmbrace Harness Booster Disney Minnie

KidsEmbrace Harness Booster Disney Minnie

5-POINT HARNESS SECURITY. There are four points on the body, two at the shoulder and two at the hips, where the harness can be fastened to give your child the best possible protection. There are three slots for the harness shoulder straps to be positioned for your child. When using a forward-facing car seat, the shoulder straps should be above the shoulders. There are two mode options. Children weighing between 22 and 65 pounds and 29 to 49 inches in height can use this forward-facing five-point harness car seat. Older children weighing between 40 and 100 pounds and 38 to 57 inches in height can be put in a belt-positioning booster seat. Before using this car seat as a belt-positioning booster, they recommend using the 5-point harness to the maximum recommended weight and height. There are safety precautions. This seat is above Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. Only when used with a 5-point harness can the side impact be tested. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has a "best bet" rating. The three-position headrest has energy-absorbing foam. Two cup holders make it easier to hold drinks or store treats. The three-position headrest has energy-absorbing foam. 👤My 4 year old daughter loves this booster seat, it's got 2 cup holders, and it's so comfy, I'm updating my review because I was in a bad car wreck. I was driving my daughter to school at 55mph when a vehicle pulled out from a stop sign on a side road and I had no time to slow down because I was going so fast. I can't walk for a few more months because of the pain and I'll never walk the same again. I will never be able to play with my little girl again, but I can't be happier that she came out of the wreck with no broken bones or brain damage. I can't thank the makers of this carseat enough, it's definitely worth the money, I would highly recommend this booster seat for your little Angel, a huge thank you to the makers from me, my husband and my daughter, and thank you to Amazon for selling this product

👤I bought 2 of them last year. The princess and minnie are together. Both for my daughters. The part that secures the lower part above your child's legs does not have enough length, so I'm writing this review to let other parents know. The granddaughters legs are very small. They are 44 and 34 lbs. The girls are average sized. I have to order new boosters because they don't meet the size and weight that they say they will. These are fun and safe, but they won't fit a child over 45 lbs. If he or she has chubby legs. Not overweight or fat, cute chubby thighs.

👤If possible, my child would give this 10 stars. The design is cute and the ears are not long. This is very easy to install as the changes have been made based on previous reviews. My child is very comfortable in this seat and prefers her old seat. We take a lot of road trips, so comfort is important. The front passenger isn't riding in the glove box because the seat can sit straight up. I am not including safety in the review as the seat is NHTSA standards. The car is easy to take in and out of. I'm happy! The seat belt clips are better than the hook clips. It is easy to disassemble. The buckles are easy to locate while the child is in the seat. There is a cup holder insert. I want to make sure the house is clean. It is difficult to get into the crevices of the cup holder. There is a The seat is secured to the anchor sticks with one of the clips. I have to use a pencil to get it close to the seat anchor. It holds securely when it clips. The seat belts are too long. They get twisted by looking at them. It is difficult to untwist the belt so that it can be fastened. A twisted belt can hurt. The KidsEmbrace is noticeably thinner than the other seats I compared it to. There is a I wiped the seat down but the logo on the front of the clip was still there. It is unlaminated paper and cannot be cleaned. Huh? I used a pink paint marker to paint it. Would I buy this product? If you can deal with the twisted belts getting caught in the clips, then yes. Wait if not. They have fixed other issues in the past and may fix this one.

3. Evenflo Maestro Harness Booster Granite

Evenflo Maestro Harness Booster Granite

The booster supports 22-110 pounds and is forward-facing. The seat belt booster mode recommends a child's height to be 44-57 inches. The harness has 50 pounds. Limit is to hold the child's body in the car seat. Child's harness can be adjusted with a central front access to the harness adjuster. The shoulder belt guide can be used to position the vehicle belt. The dual cup holders keep drinks and snacks within reach for the driver. 👤It's a very good, lightweight seat. My Britax is too heavy to haul around so I bought it for travel. I couldn't get it to tighten on tethers or on the seatbelt. The seat was moving by more than 1 inch. I was lucky because there was a car seat clinic at my destination. The trained people showed me what to do, and it was not obvious. I had the tether carabineer upside down and the tether strap should be tightened in the back of the vehicle. I ended up using it on the 3 because pulling it straight back through the main opening didn't work on many vehicles. The manual explains in the end how to adjust the shoulder straps. You have to fix the straps again after you tighten things. I would have returned it if it wasn't for that clinic. They need to make installation videos and link them after the purchase.

👤The car seat is very easy to install. We bought it because we wanted something that was easy to take through an airport since the airlines forget to put our car seats on the plane. It does not live up to the specifications of my boys. The five-point harness mode says it should hold a tall child. My 4 year old is an average size (40 lbs) and he struggles to put the harness on even with the straps already pulled all the way out. My son is sitting on top of the most forward-facing position, and the crotch strap needs to be positioned in the front. The seat is made for a slim girl rather than a boy. It's too bad because it would be a best seller if it had better construction and more crotch strap positions.

👤I bought a vehicle for my son. I should have gone with a different seat as the 5 point harness only weighs 50 pounds. There are many seats on the market that can reach 65 pounds with a 5 point harness. My son is 44 pounds and he is under 5 years old. Children should be in 5 point harnesses as long as possible, so choose another seat.

👤Our 4 year old twins are no longer rear-facing. They are easy to use. The fit of my car gave the kids more leg room than the convertible seats we were using. The crotch buckle gets lost under the kids' bottoms and I have two complaints about them. My daughter is climbing in and out of the car seat and one of the cup holders pops off.

👤This car seat has been with us for 18 months and we couldn't be happier. When our son was young, we purchased it. We wanted something lightweight we could travel with and that had a 5-point harness as he is skinny and safety experts now recommend kids stay in 5-point until they are 50 lbs. This converts to use a seatbelt as he grows, and we liked that. We were nervous after reading the reviews, but we decided we could return it if it was really bad. We have installed it many times and had no problems. It is great.

4. Britax Skyline 2 Stage Belt Positioning Booster

Britax Skyline 2 Stage Belt Positioning Booster

The skyline belt positioning high back booster car seat is easy to covert to a backless booster to keep your child safer. 40 to 120 pounds and up to 63 inch height are ideal. The big kid has foam padding and arm rests. The dishwasher-safe cup holders make it easy to clean between rides. Two layers of side impact protection include an energy absorbing shell and foam lined headrest. Two layers of side impact protection include an energy absorbing shell and foam lined headrest.

Brand: Britax

👤A big girl feels safe. My daughter is 6 years old and has been begging to get out of her car seat. I decided to try the seat. When traveling with grandparents, we have used other backed booster seats. The Britax Skyline 2 Booster is not the same as those. It is heavier than the standard boosters. There is more than cheap plastic with a cushion. The seat has a lot of padding. The box has two parts. The back and the bottom seat. The two parts were easy to clip together. Boosters have an extra safety feature that comes standard in most car seats, and they sit on your car seat. The push button release makes it easy to remove and switch to a different car. The booster is locked in the seat and does not move. It's a little too snug when I sit in it. I learned from the fire department that it was best to put as much weight in the car seat as possible. I could only kneel in, but I could fit in the booster so my daughter will always fit, and this will be our last car seat. The booster uses the seatbelt. There is a loop on my daughter's shoulder that holds the seatbelt. The button behind the headrest can be used to adjust the shoulder strap and height. It is convenient for adjustments, but not the best place to carry it. It is where you would grab to carry the seat. It's not impossible to carry it with one hand. It has a clip that holds the seatbelt in the perfect position for safety. It makes it easier for my daughter to reach it. She doesn't have any problems getting herself in. The bottom belt protects her hips from being tight against her waist. Most of the impact would be taken by the car seat. Most other boosters don't have protection on the side. I didn't think a booster could offer so much protection. The Britax booster has drink/snack holders and is easy to clean. It is a great booster. You can get a cheaper car seat. I promise it won't be the same as this one. When it comes to your child's safety, it's priceless. If you can afford this car seat, it is worth the money and the peace of mind that my daughter is as protected as she could possibly be, and what is more important than that?

👤It's nice. It's very lightweight and nice compared to my other Britax. The seat is easy to assemble, but does not have a top tether, which is not good, because the seat tips over when turning in the car. I don't have a box anymore. I can't return and get something else. The seat is nice, but not happy about the tipping. I wouldn't recommend a bigger child. The seat is narrow, but my son's behind was too big for it.

👤We went to see what BRITAX had to offer when my daughters needed the next size up. The booster was the best we found. Have been very pleased with it so far. It's easy to install, clip it in. Just put it in your car. Child can seat belt themselves in, still has a nice headrest. It's super comfortable! There is a Definitely recommend. Hit HELPFUL to let Amazon know you liked the review. Thanks for the feedback.

5. Graco Atlas Harness Booster Glacier

Graco Atlas Harness Booster Glacier

Two seats are in a booster seat. The booster seat converts from a forward-facing harness to a highback belt-positioning seat. The Simply Safe Adjust Harness System allows the head and harness to adjust in one motion. In belt-positioning booster mode, the integrated harness storage compartment stores unused harness straps. Your child's headrest grows with you. There are two recline positions and 10 head rest positions in a car seat. Keep your child's drink close with integrated, dual cup holders. The belt guides help position the seat belt.

Brand: Graco

👤One of the most important products for toddlers is a car seat. Consumer Reports recently finished testing on toddler-boosters and said parts of five popular toddler-booster car seats broke. What they found and what parents can do about it are included in this. Toddler-booster seats are forward facing and can be used initially with a five point harness and then they can be used as a booster with the car's own seat belts. All seats must meet federal safety crash test requirements in order to be sold, but Consumer Reports' crash evaluations are more rigorous. The Britax Frontier ClickTight, Britax Pioneer, Cosco Finale, Graco Atlas 65, and the Harmony Defender 360 booster seats were found to break when tested with dummies whose weight is close to the seat's limits. "If the harness or top tether breaks, it can compromise the seats' ability to protect the child in a subsequent crash event," said Consumer Reports. It may allow the child to move further forward, if the harness disengages completely, the seat is no longer restraining the child. There were no injuries related to the structural failures revealed in Consumer Reports crash tests. What should you do if you own one of these seats? CR says that you should not stop using the seat if you don't have a replacement. A basic margin of safety is provided by any car seat, and it is better than no seat at all. If your child is less than 40 pounds, you can use this seat with the five-point harness. If your child weighs more than 40 pounds, you should use the seats in booster mode. CR says you should replace your car seat if it's too small for it to fit the booster and vehicle seat belts correctly. Britax, Cosco, Graco, and Harmony all stated that their seats meet federal standards and that CR's testing differed from the government's. Consumer Reports says that the best way to replace a child's car seat is with a new one.

👤The part that protects his brain broke and fell off. When I went to clean the pads, I found out. Take the pads off if you have one. I have four of these. I want to replace them all.

👤Absolutely love it! I don't need a car seat anymore. I think it's the total package. My car looks great again, and I'm confident that my son is safe. The last car seat was green and covered in stains within a month. There are a few features that I like. There will never be a stain that I can't remove. My son falls asleep in the car a lot, so no more bobbing head. My son's head is kept straight while he sleeps. My son can't escape the easy buckle. TheRemovable cover is easy to keep clean. There are more features, but the ones listed were most important to me.

👤I ordered two car seats at the same time and they both arrived a year ago. They only have 6 years left. If you are buying a new product, it should be within a month or two of the manufacture date. If you have a smaller SUV that allows for reclining back seats, you can recline the seats in my ford f350. The recline option makes it easier for the kids to sleep. The shoulder heigh adjustment is very easy to do. It's a big plus that cheaper options make you rethread. The seat is light and made of plastic which the higher end GRACO's have a steel core. The push to click seat belt style found on higher end car seats is not the same as the simple metal clasps under the seat. The materials are plastic and the fabric is not the most durable, but I'm very happy with my purchase, it was a year old when we received them. If life span is important to you, you might want to check with the vendor before ordering. Thanks!

6. Graco SlimFit Convertible Seat Darcie

Graco SlimFit Convertible Seat Darcie

Your child can grow from a rear-facing harness to a highback booster in a 3-in-1 car seat. The seat is 10% slimmer because of the dual cup holders that rotates away. A combination of the most rigorous crash tests helps to protect your little one in crashes. The harness and headrest can be adjusted in one motion. The safest fit for your child is to choose the perfect height for their headrest. The recline helps for a better installation. Push-button In Right LATCH has an audible click to help ensure secure installation.

Brand: Graco

👤We were in a car accident at 60mph. A 2 year old child walked away from an accident after biting his tongue. He was thankful for the protection this seat gave him.

👤I've been wanting to get a second car seat for a long time. I went to the local stores to try out the Slim Fit after seeing the price drop. The Slim Fit and the Milestone are both on sale at Walmart for the same price. My primary car seat is a Graco 4Ever. Both the SlimFit and Milestone have the same features. My daughter and I chose Slim Fit because of the two cup holders. The seat is very comfortable. There is a good amount of cushion in the head and butt area. Ours has been in use for several years and feels more comfortable than the 4Ever. The beams are reinforced with steel like the 4Ever, but they are not as thick or wide. The SlimFit is a bit lighter because of this. The in Right latch system is a must have for the Slim Fit. The installation is easy, but the in Right belt is a bit harder to get as snug as I want. That could be because it is brand new. The harness adjusts when you raise and lower it. The seat is a bit larger than the 4Ever. I am testing out the Slim Fit in my Mazda CX-5 and I feel like there is more room for passengers than when I have the 4Ever in the same place. There are only 4 "recline" positions. I would like to see 5. The 4Ever has two recline positions just for forward facing, which is a plus. It's a little more comfortable with the added recline. The SlimFit is definitely comparable to the 4Ever. If you can purchase below retail, I would recommend it. There was a photo added for asthetic comparison.

👤Ok. All of the pictures should be forgiven. Seeing comparison pictures of new car seats helped me make my decision. We are getting a new car seat. I drive a small car, the 2015 crosstrek from the Subaru line. If I could do it all over again, I would buy a minivan that we didn't need and I wouldn't want a teenager sitting in the back for family outings. The seat is a bit slimmer on the slimfit due to the lack of armrest and cup holders. The back and headrest are the same on both seats, but the back of the slimfit is a solid panel as opposed to the extend2fit with an open back. Both of these differences are functional and mearly. The recline option is the same, the padding is the same, and the wonderful sliding headrest to adjust height is the same. The water under the bridge made it difficult for me to get the latch through the rear pass. The seat is heavy and not a good choice if you want to carry your car seat through the airport or move it on a regular basis. I don't like the fact that the infant seat insert is not included, there are a lot of cracks in the fabric and it is hard to get gummy snacks out of it. The seat is sturdy and well built, which is a bonus since I won't need another car seat for the kids down the road. It is nice. Installation was ok. 10/10 would buy again.

7. Chicco GoFit Backless Booster Seat

Chicco GoFit Backless Booster Seat

The double foam padding of the Ergo boost seat provides support in all the right places. No battery was used to wash the seat pad and armrest covers. The cup holders are dishwasher safe. Warm water and soap-towel dry cleaning of plastic. There is a shoulder belt clip and lap belt guides. Do not use bleach on plastic parts. It's easy to transfer from vehicle to vehicle with a built-in carry handle. Does not have a Latch connection. Hang to dry the foam insert. Brand: Chicco

👤A must have! I went to a few stores and looked around. When it comes to my children's safety, I like to get a hands on feel. I found that every one of them had little padding for the kids to sit on. I will not make my kids sit on it if I don't sit on it. We like to go for Christmas light rides in the summer. I don't want to sit on dense plastic for hours at a time. When it came to boosters without back support, this one was a little more expensive but I found a softer pad for their little butt. The design makes unbuckling easy. The arm supports are very strong for the kids to move around in their seats. The should strap is a nice feature. How many beverages does one need? Oh my, (haha). I would have given it a 5 star if they had a system to prevent the booster from sliding across the seats. It would be a world of difference if one day there was a need. I am very pleased with my purchase.

👤I was looking for a booster seat to use. My son's current seat can go with him all the way until he can go without a booster, so I've had no reason to switch to a booster since he's comfortable in his toddler combo with the full back. I knew I needed something simpler to carry around when I traveled. I chose this car seat because it looked comfortable for my son and I liked that it had a carry handle so I wouldn't have to carry it through airports. I didn't know that there was a booster that was the same as the one I bought, but with clips that keep it in place and attach to the car's latches. The booster is great for traveling, lightweight and portable, but if I had to buy it again, I'd want the clip version as it's too comfortable for me.

👤This is the first time I have purchased this to transition my child out of a carseat. I read a lot of reviews and decided on this one after a lot of research. The product was in a box in 2 minutes. The seat cover and arm rest cushions are not required to be cleaned because they are not gross. This seat was more plush than others I had looked at. The cup holders on both sides were accessible for my child. When my daughter isn't in my car, it stays put and doesn't need to be moved. My daughter and I are very happy with this purchase.

👤I research the mess before buying it. My kids car seats are the same. My kids used to have the Orbit baby carrier seat, the Peg-Perego child seat and now the booster seat. I was hesitant to order this one because it didn't have the anchors to hold it in place. I took a chance because it had everything I wanted. The anchors are not needed. The seat doesn't move very much until my son is in it, but the seat belt is still in the arm rest, so it's not going anywhere in my car. The seat belt doesn't move when it isn't under the arm rest. The latches are not necessary. I don't use the red attachment piece because the seatbelt hits my son exactly where I need it. He leaves his seatbelt where it is supposed to be so that's not something I have tried or needed. This seat has everything I wanted, including cup holders, a comfortable seat, light weight, and easy to wipe clean, and it's a great price considering the other options we had bought in the past. It's a good thing.

8. Solution Reclining Protection 12 Position Height Adjustable

The solution B2Fix+Lux Booster Seat has two dishwasher-safe cup holders for easy access to your child's favorite drinks. Brand: Cybex

👤My daughter is very fond of this car seat. She says it is very comfortable and she can be in it for a long time. I love that it has an anchor system. That was a big selling point for us. It is very easy to install. 10/10

👤It wouldn't be good for long trips to hard.

👤I thought I was getting something huge and bulky when I saw the size of the picture. My son's old car seat takes up more space than this one. It saved space in my car. I am very happy I bought this. The safety that they have puts my mind at ease when I drive.

👤Safety straps need to be attached to the car seat. The seat moves a lot when you get in and out.

👤There was no way to open the package. I am not sure if I can install without that critical piece.

👤The cup holder was broken when my kid hopped on my back seat. I don't want to use this because it's a safe car seat.

9. Britax Highpoint 2 Stage Belt Positioning Booster

Britax Highpoint 2 Stage Belt Positioning Booster

2-in-1 The highpoint belt-positioning high back booster car seat is easy to covert to a backless booster to keep your child safer. 40 - 120 pounds and up to 63 inch height are the ideal fit. The big kid has foam padding and arm rests. The ride is in style. The fabric in the vehicle looks great. External cushions, energy-absorbing shell, and foam-lined headrest are part of the side impact protection. External cushions, energy-absorbing shell, and foam-lined headrest are part of the side impact protection.

Brand: Britax

👤After reading about a 5 year old who was internally decapitated by a cheap booster seat, I immediately researched and ordered a new one the next day. I haven't had it long but it's great. I have a booster seat that is triple enforced on the side and it is a much more robust product than the other ones. I feel good about investing in my daughter's safety. The booster is still fantastic almost 9 months later. The car looks new and easy to use. Everyone loves it and I have recommended it to many friends.

👤We will never skimp on car seats and always get the best of the best. Britax is for us. Always. It is a no braineR choice for us because of the ease of use. When I bought a spare vehicle, I returned it because it was terrible, but I couldn't get it installed. People were complaining about the color. It is grey enough for me. I could see how it would look in some lights. Maybe? I have three girls so I wasn't worried. If you are thinking about spending money to get a Britax, do it. You will never regret spending money on a car seat, but you may regret not buying the best one if something happens. Britax is the best to buy.

👤Going from a low back booster to a high back booster was a challenge. I like the security of a car seat. I needed safety, comfort and two cup holders because my son outgrew them. There are not many brands with cup holders. The quality and luxury of the Graco is something that grandparents have. Absolutely recommend. I don't get to receive for free. 5 year old can use it on his own.

👤I have an older version where the back doesn't come off. My daughter and I were tired of exchanging seats all the time. I didn't mind spending the money because I knew my daughter would be safe. I like the brand of the car seat. Excellent product! It's easy to install and comfortable. My daughter is 7 years old and will be able to fit for awhile.

👤I needed the next stage for my daughter, but they all seem flimsy. The Britax infant carrier is worth the money. I was correct. The seat is rock solid. The seat is soft to the touch and resembles memory foam. The sides by her head are the same. My 6 year old is very comfortable with the latch system. It's worth the extra money for safety and quality. I ordered #2 for the car.

👤The seat is great but the top headrest is not gray. Not happy with the quality issue.

👤This is the first Britax booster for my 6 year old. The quality is inline with previous Britax seats. The sides of the head cushion could use more padding. The seats were used for a few days and we took a 1 hour road trip. My kid was complaining about his back every minute on the trip. He is not picky. The edge of the back was where the ALOT was stuck out. I will give it a few more days of break and try a few things. If things don't work out, I will return this item. I'm surprised the rating for this is above 3 stars on Amazon, it's a design issue.

10. Graco Extend2Fit Convertible Seat Gotham

Your child can ride rear-facing for up to 50 pounds. The Protect Plus is engineered by Graco. The plush head and body inserts help keep your baby comfortable. Simply Safe has a no-rethread harness and a no-rethread headrest. Simply Safe has a no-rethread harness and a no-rethread headrest.

Brand: Graco

👤This is our 8th car seat and 5th child. We have had several before this one. It's my favorite of all the car seats we've ever had, so I had to review it. It's seriously. The Diono is heavy and difficult to adjust to, the Britax is cumbersome, and the Evenflos are cheap and thin. None of them have covers that are easy to wash. The covers are easy to put back together. The metal parts you want to be safe and sturdy are latches, tether, etc. The adjusting pieces are large and easy to grasp. Oh! That is the other thing. I couldn't get my hand into any of the others in the way I needed to, not for adjusting, not for installing, and not for moving stuff around. I can get my paw through the appropriate areas. The harness adjustment feature is enough to give repeat business. I didn't say anything dirty while installing. Heeheehee

👤I couldn't ask for a better car seat when I bought it at Target. My daughter is 16 months old and still rear facing, she is very comfortable with the extended leg room. She was laughing and playing in the back seat of the car that was totaled in the accident, even though nothing happened. I just added it to my cart and will be buying it again for my new car.

👤I was frustrated with how hard it was to tighten the seatbelt. You need to have the strength of 10,000 people to tighten it. I figured it out. Pull the slack from around the child's hips once the chest clip and belt are buckled. The chest clip and shoulder strap covers should be lowered. The slack is above the chest clip. The strap needs to be tightened. It will be very easy. We shouldn't have to go through this, but once you know how to do it, it's not bad. It is easy to remove the cover, but it is not so easy to put it on. The seat cover is secured with small elastic loops. The loops need to be threaded through small holes to reach the hook. If you don't have a crochet hook, you will throw the seat away. With the crochet hook, I was able to thread the elastic loop through the small holes and over the fastening hooks with very little effort.

👤We don't plan ahead very well. We were worried when our kid was upgraded to a convertible car seat. We weren't sure if we would be able to find a small car that fit my wife's small car. We looked for a budget friendly car seat because we are already spending an arm and leg for diaper changing. We wanted something to keep him calm. We have three digit temperatures where we are located, which means we have something that could fit in a corolla and the passenger didn't have to move their seat to the point where they were kissing the dash. The fact that it grows with the child makes it a better investment than a budget friendly convertible seat. The fabric allows our son to breathe during the hot days. He gets a little sweat on his back but that is normal with all car seats. I know he doesn't mind the seat because he always passes out with each car ride. We were able to keep the front passenger and driver seat in the back of the car. I enjoy any little leg room I can get. This seat is perfect for your child.

👤I hurt my back and hands in the accident, but my son didn't complain. He was checked out by the doctor and didn't have any injuries. I bought the same one to replace the one I used.

👤If you want to use this seat for everyday use, I would recommend you to keep looking. I have used a lot of car seats and this one has pros and cons, but I don't like them all. The fabric had a tear after 2 weeks of use. After 2 weeks! That is crazy. The seat seems to be made of plastic. I don't feel like I'm protecting my kids. The size is lightweight and slim. It is easy to fit into most situations where a car seat is needed. My kids loved having someone to store their stuff. The straps were easy to install. I've had seats where you need to catch your breath, drink some water and wipe your sweat after installing it in the car. If you are going to use this as a secondary seat for travel or for a grand parent, aunt, or uncle's car, go for it. If you want this to be your child's everyday seat, go for something with a little more quality. It is the only safety measure that could possibly save your child's life.

👤The carseat is light and works well on Southwest Airlines seats. The arm has to be up, but it barely touches the armrest limit. I put it in my carry on and used a travel belt to get it through the airport. It was easy to detach to get through security. After it was detached from the plane, I held it over my head to walk down the isle. It was super light here. I am 5'1. The seat fit over my head and there was room to spare. I was able to use the seatbelt to Buckle, and used a folded cloth over the Buckle to keep it from pressing too much into my toddler's back. He didn't complain. This is not an issue in the plane with their lap belts. There are no issues with the seatbelts in the rental cars. It was comfortable enough for him to sleep in. When we went back to his normal seat, he never complained about the extend2fit seat we use. It's great for travel.

👤We've purchased a lot of seats, but this one felt like it was flimsier. After two weeks of use, a plastic piece near the harness tighten strap broke as I was securing my child in the seat. I liked the idea of a harness that could grow as he got bigger. I will be buying another brand to replace it. I fear how this might hold up in the event of a crash if pieces break just from tightening the belt.

👤I have to leave a review for this product because I am so happy with the results. I have a 2010 corolla and was pretty sure we would need another big vehicle to allow 3 carseats. I researched so much that I found great reviews for the price and they fit. It is snug. I could secure each seat tightly and safely. I don't know if I'll have a baby in the middle or side, but both arrangements fit. The car is not our go-to family car, so we don't envision long trips with the kids in these seats, but we now have peace of mind knowing if the parent who has the car that day needs to go to store / drop off at daycare / etc with all 3 So relieved! You can use the 5 point harness until 65 lbs. When our 5 year old gets to that point, we will assess what to do. It would be very difficult to buck in. The 5 point harness was needed.
