👤It is a great looking car seat, and I saw many of it. The front tether is too close to the back of the seat, and it is very annoying to get between the tights and the crotch. It isn't good for older kids to return this one. I wanted to love it so much.
👤I love this seat. It feels natural when you install it and put the little one in. I had the Nuna all-in-one from Nordstrom and spent $400, but this one is better.
👤I've been using car seats for 16 years. Safety, comfort, and features have changed a lot in that time. I usually buy a Britax or Graco car seat, but this seat won me over with its extra features. The fabric is soft and padded. When my LO gets older, the 3 way headrest is going to be very useful. Installation took less than 2 minutes. Not having to use pool noodles to get a proper level means having multiple recline options. My LO is 10 months old and was happy to be in a car for the first time. If you are looking for top of the line safety and comfort, I would highly recommend it.
👤I would recommend a thousand times this cerseat. The safety features are awesome! I know some people would hate the beeping, but what is the purpose of it? Absolutely worth it! I like it. I feel good as a mom because I am giving my baby the best protection in the car.
👤The system doesn't work. Don't buy this seat for the sensor system. You're not getting the full feature set, but the seat is perfectly functional for safety.
👤I tried to wash the cover but it broke.
👤My kid loved it.
👤I love this seat. My little one is protected by all the safety features and instantly falls asleep. It is a good looking seat.
👤Estamos FELICES CON ELLAS.
The 3-in-1 car seat has a rear-facing 5-40 pounds, forward-facing harness 22-50 pounds, and belt-positioning 40-80 pounds. Side impact protection. It's easy to get your child out of the seat with the harness held back. For a comfortable ride, grow with baby pillow. The Quick Fit Harness can be adjusted in one simple step. Less space in the back seat is taken up by the 3-position recline, machine-hygiene and dryer safe seat pad, and 1 dishwasher-safe cup holder. 👤It's nice. It's hard to get it in the car. It should move more. Downfall is even with the air on the baby. A woman ran a red light and hit me in the car accident. The car seat was amazing. My daughter did not move. She was uninjured and cried. I had a concussion. I will get another one to replace the one I lost.
👤The choice between the Safety 1st Grow and Go and the Continuum is a personal one. The seat we bought to replace the one that was totaled is called the Safety 1st Grow and Go. We had bought the Grow and Go for $100 and couldn't wait for it to go on sale again, so I decided on the Continuum. The Continuum looks, feels and performs very similar to the Grow and Go. The weight limit for the Cont. is 80 lbs compared to 100 lbs for the GnG. He may be too tall for it by the time he reaches 80 lbs. There is a Cont. The cup holder is not the same as the GnG. My 2 year old doesn't have a problem with the 1removable pillow behind the back. It has hooks to keep the straps out of the way. This is great in theory, but I rarely use them. Installation took less than 10 minutes and I had no problem getting it tight enough so that it moves less than an inch. I found it much easier to tighten when I fed the strap back through the belt path and pulled from the opposite side. I found that the shoulder belt lifted one side of the seat when fully tightened. The seat was made cockeyed by this. I took off the seat cover to wash it twice after 6 months of owning the GnG. It was easy to get off and on. The seat cover design of the Cont. is the same as that of the other one. The head rest is prone to rattle when there is not a kid in the seat. The Continuum arrived in about 24 hours. Hopefully this review is helpful. We haven't used the Continuum for a few days, so I will continue to update. We've had the Continuum for 6 months. This carseat is still very good. The cover was easy to remove for washing. I had to put it back on because I didn't remove the seat from the car. It was easy to install the first time, but I haven't taken it out of our car again. I don't know how easy it is to switch between vehicles every week.
👤I didn't want my sons seat to be in between my husbands and mothers car so I bought this spare seat. The main seat of his car is the Graco 4ever. I wasn't sure if I could afford a second seat, but when I saw this one, I was so excited. It was bought right then and there. I love it. I couldn't afford another one of those. This met all of my needs. My son is 25 lbs and 30 inches tall. He fits so well.
The canopy has an integrated height and angle for UV protection. There is additional shade protection on either side of the car seat. The 4-In-1 seating system has a rear facing infant mode from 4 to 18 lbs, a rear facing toddler mode from 18 to 40 lbs, and a belt positioning booster mode from 40 to 100 lbs. Child can adjust the canopy when the car is moving and the sun is coming from multiple directions. The coverme's comfort cabin has extra padding to make the child comfortable on long rides. There is no rethread harness. Three recline positions allow front seat passengers to have extra legroom, while an integrated recline flip foot gives the right angle and allows dual adjustment. It is at its widest and can be used for three across in most vehicles. The Baby Trend Cover Me 4-in-1 convertible car seat is 18.25′′ and can fit three children across most vehicles. 👤The product listing has a different name. The listing calls it 3 in 1, but it is actually 4 in 1. The name needs to be changed quickly. The most important thing is the expiration date. Do not use this car seat in harness mode for 7 years after the date on the back of the seat. The Booster Car Seat Mode will not work after the date on the back of the seat. This is a great car seat. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that other brands have, but it's a great car seat for the price. The canopy is the BOMB, it is comfortable, stylish, and has dual cup holders. My kids are spoiled when it comes to sun protection because my SUV has sun shades for them. They were agitated that the sun was in their eyes when they rode in my mom's car. This car seat solved the problem. It is easy to install. The car seat is $100 cheaper than some of the higher end brands, but it is not as easy to adjust. I needed a car seat for my kids to use in my mom's car so they wouldn't fall into it. I have 2 kids in car seats. All of them have different seating requirements. I was stressed out by having to constantly change car seats between cars, and knowing we would be adding a third child to the mix. I needed an all in one car seat that could be adjusted to fit my family in a single seating system so I didn't have to install car seats into my mom's car. This single car seat can be adjusted to fit all three of my kids. It does. The infant is facing the Rear Facing Infant. Toddler mode from 18 to 40 lbs. The forward facing mode has a weight limit of 22 to 65 lbs. I know some people think the belt positioning booster is bulky, but it is actually smaller than the other car seats in my SUV. If you have a smaller car, the canopy isn't going to obstruct your view because it's larger. I am happy with the car seat. It is safe, comfortable, and I am not having to move my car seats between vehicles anymore. I will get to try the infant seating positions soon. Hope this review was helpful.
👤Beautiful! Looks comfortable. The sun shade is my favorite thing about it. You can't find a car seat with a sun shade. It is helpful.
👤The design and canopy are great. I have a small child with no head support. This carseat review will try and update down the road.
👤We have bought several car seats so that we don't have to move them between 3 cars. This is the easiest thing to do. I can easily slide the shade from the front seat if my granddaughter is sleeping. She is going to fly twice in the next couple months and I really liked that it was approved by the FAA. She will be very comfortable flying. We did not get her until she was a year old, but the pads and comfort would be great for an infant. It is worth the extra money.
It was designed to help protect your rear facing child from 5-40 pounds. Simply Safe Harness System adjusts the harness and headrest height with one easy motion. A combination of the most rigorous crash tests that helps to protect your child in frontal, side, rear, and rollover crashes; additional testing based on the New Car Assessment Program and for extreme car interior temperatures is what the Protect Plus engineered is. The headrest is easy to adjust using one hand. Installation in the rear-facing position using LATCH and an easy to read level indicator was painless. 👤I wish I could give this seat a 3.5 star rating, but that option doesn't exist, so I went up to a four instead of a three. This car seat has been with us since February of 2016 It's been about 8 months since I wrote this, and it's been one year. When we purchased this car seat for my son, he was just one year old. He is an average sized child. We were in a passenger side impact car accident on the freeway last week and need to replace this car seat because my son was in it when it was side swiped. As I was thinking about what I would like in the next car seat, I thought about some things I don't like about this car seat, as well as some things I like. I thought it would be helpful for people to see my list of pros and cons after using the Condender 65 for over a year and a half. I kept my son safe in the car accident. The five point harness system was still installed tightly and there were no visible signs of damage. It's really affordable. It was cheap, but not cheap quality-wise. I didn't want to spend $300 on a Britax car seat if I could get away with it. I never considered the cup holder when buying a car seat because my son was barely a year old, but it has been great for holding toys, drinks, and snacks. It's easy to clean. The Britax and Chicco convertible models don't have cup holders built in which is a big problem for me. The ones that clip on seem flimsy and I've read a lot of mixed reviews that make those kinds of cupholders seem more an "afterthought" and don't really feel like a part of the seat. My son knows that he would pull them off and throw them on the floor. I read a review where a mom said her child did this for $30 to sit on the floor of their car. It's fairly light without feeling flimsy. It is 15.2 lbs, which sounds right to me. My niece has a Britax Pioneer car seat that is 26 lbs. The "Simply Safe Adjust" harness system at the top of the car seat is very convenient. It's nice to be able to press a button and pull it as your child grows, instead of having to re-thread the straps. It's easy to rethread the buckle. There is no "recline" button, but this could be a pro or con. If you are using the seat for forward or rear facing, you just flip the little wedge at the base of the seat. I never had an issue with it. We used it for both forward and rear facing. The little ball that indicates proper positioning was in the perfect place each time, without any adjustments or boosting in my Honda Pilot. Black straps! They hide the stains and clean them easily. All of the cons are personal preference and convenience issues. I have no doubt that this car seat is safe. It is difficult to move this seat from one car to another. The cheaper 'hook' style of straps are the ones that are used in cars, not the nicer ones that have a button like a seatbelt. They're a problem to get out of. It's a pain and a half to get in and out of my parents' BMW 5 series and my husband's Honda Civic, so I've transferred this from my Honda Pilot to my husband's Honda Civic. I end up sweaty and swearing. It is not helpful that the strap you use to adjust the seat is only on one side, so you have to climb into your vehicle or mess with it. We had to change it twice. When it came out of the box, my son was in the back of the car, and the adjuster was on the left side of the seat. It's more convenient to have the strap on the side of the door. You have to thread the belt through the seat because you can't just pull it out. When my son switched to forward facing, we had to adjust it again. These are the little things that you don't want to waste time on as a parent. If you could adjust the slack/tightness from both sides, it would be much more convenient. The little bar clip with a button that allows you to adjust the latch belt on the one side is very frustrating to use. It does nothing when you press it half the time. It is supposed to let go of its grip on the belt so you can get slack in the belt to remove the latch from the car or tighten it. My friend's car seat has an issue with the latch button. I am not a bad person, but I have lost patience trying and sometimes I have to ask my husband to mess with it. Stains. I have always been too lazy to take the entire cover off and wash it, even though I was positive I could remove the seat after the accident, because I didn't think I could do it. I have never been able to get the stains out of the seat insert with bleach. I wish they were easier to clean because it looks filthy, unfortunately, with a toddler it's unavoidable. I couldn't get the stains out of this seat, so I gave up. We had a seat in Glacier. The gray is shown in a photo. If you remove the lighter gray seat pad, the stains won't show. The little pad has always been left in for comfort. My friend with the same car seat has said that they washed the seat after their daughter had an accident and it took quite some time to dry. She didn't think the fabric would hold up to multiple machine washings. The five point harness that goes over the child is very difficult to use. I had a lot of issues with them not adjusting equally, which is unsafe. The straps seem prone to twisting and making the buckle backwards. The pull strap at the base of the seat can be difficult to pull tight enough. I felt like I would be pulling and yanking and it wouldn't be tight enough, so it drove me crazy. There is no recline handle to adjust the seat's incline. This could be considered a pro or con depending on how you look at it. The most important thing about the Contender 65 is that it kept my son safe in an accident, even though I didn't care for it much. We decided on the 4Ever car seat from Graco because I have faith in them. It fixes most of the "cons" on this list and has all of the features I loved about the Contender 65. I paid $238 for it on Amazon, but the price has fluctuated, and I've seen it as low as $199 on Amazon.
As your child grows from baby to toddler, the 2-in-1 convertible car seat transitions from rear-facing to forward-facing mode. Staying clean is possible with the help of the technology called "Nanotex." It resists stains, odor, and moisture. The anti rebound bar helps reduce movement in the event of a crash. You know it's right in 3 easy steps with ClickTight. The steel frame and crumple zone help absorb crash energy. The steel frame and crumple zone help absorb crash energy.
👤After only three weeks of using the brand new seat, I decided to remove my baby from it because the seat belt was not holding up. I don't know if it's a coincidence or if it's life threatening in the case of a crash, either way it's a problem with the seat I bought. I returned it through Amazon and will contact Britax with photos and video. Attached is a photo.
👤My goal in a convertible car seat was to be safe, easy to install, and easy to use, but also something that didn't take up too much space (both width and length), and a cover that could be removed easily for cleaning. The Britax Boulevard ClickTight Convertible Car Seat, the Chicco Next Fit Zip Convertible Car Seat, and the Diono Radian 3RXT are all in the $250-$300 range, and were my top choices after a lot of research. I kept the Britax because none of the 4 had what I was hoping for. I wanted a convertible car seat that fit in the middle seat with a chicco keyfit 30 on one side and a passenger on the other with a comfortable level of comfort, but I didn't want it to be too big. I installed each seat I purchased in the middle seat next to the chicco keyfit 30 and my reviews are based off of this position. I hope that my efforts can help others. I didn't rate these seats by any of the companies or sellers, my hope is to help others in a similar situation. The seats have pictures in order from left to right. I was impressed with the ease with which the seatbelt was fastened. The seatbelt is the recommended method and I didn't try it with the anchors. It kept the seat secure in the window or the middle seat. The seat in my car covered the window-seat belt, so a third passenger option is impossible unless you purchase an extender, which is what I decided to do. The cooler material option that I ordered is not cool as there are small circles cut out of the top layer of material and I can imagine it being a mess in the future. I can't comment on the material's actual benefit since it's possible that the child could get crumb-hoarding in hot climates. It's not a problem to figure out where the indicator should be when it's rear vs. front facing. The cover is easy to remove, but there are a few separate pieces to be removed which could be nice if only one part needs to be washed. The shoulder belt insert can be adjusted with the changing height of the child. I had high hopes for this one since I have been a fan of the Keyfit 30. I was expecting more with the high price. The zip-off cover is very useful. I couldn't get a safe installation of the seat in my car because it was difficult to install and it was next to an infant car seat. The installation behind the passenger seat was easy. I was not able to tighten it enough to be safe and forward facing, and it was difficult to get the seatbelt tight enough for a stable ride. I was able to put the seatbelt on when the seat was in the middle of the backseat. It was a bit more cosier than the Britax Boulevard, but it was still open for fastening because of the base and fastening connections. It is easy to change the recline. Instructions for leveling are clear. Consumer Reports did not give the Diono Radian 3RXT a very good rating, but they did give it a good rating because of the ease of installation. If you want to sit 3 across, this is a great option. It is very heavy, can fold up a bit for easier storage, and has a lower profile as shown in the photos. It can take up more space when rear facing so the passengers in the front will lose more leg space as compared to these other seats. I wanted to like this one enough to keep it, but the cover is more complex to remove and it just takes a lot more effort and time. I would buy this as a third seat if I had to put 3 across in my car. It would be difficult to get it installed and for the child to use the in-car seatbelt unless you get an extension. The SureRide DLX carseat is not as good as the others. I would expect one with a much more reasonable price. The weight is the biggest pro. My sister-in-law has 5 children and she loves this seat. She likes the ease of cleaning the cover and this one is the easiest compared to the others. It is very difficult to get the seat secure with it in the middle next to the chicco keyfit 30, like the chicco nextfit and diono. Britax thought the Britax was about 1/2 and inch smaller than the next fit. I will probably buy one of these in the future to use as a travel seat when flying and to prevent damage to my nicer car seat.
A harness booster helps protect your child. They have increased the weight minimum from 30 to 40 pounds to continue to meet industry standards. The harness system allows the head and harness to adjust in one motion. Do not bleach. Busy, active parents will love the lightweight, portable seat. Your child's headrest grows with you. 2 cup holders keep drinks and snacks close to hand. The belt guides help position the seat belt.
👤Highly recommend! My son is 4 years old. 2.5 months ago, we got into a horrible car accident. I hit a pole, my car was totaled, and my son had minor whiplash and was released from the hospital the same day. I broke my nose, left ankle, right knee and was 800-273-3217 I have to give credit to this seat for his injuries being so minimal. I bought him another one last week because my car caught on fire in the accident and the seat did as well.
👤I don't usually write reviews. This car seat in the high back booster mode saved my five year olds life this Christmas Eve. Her grandmother was with her. The car flipped onto its side. The side of the car. She was in the driver's seat. We left the church service with her and our little boy. Daddy. We rode home. She does not have a scratch. I am amazed. Our guardian angels in heaven were watching over her tonight and she was safe and secure thanks to the car seat. The family with young children in the other car were safe as well. I have always purchased graco. I will continue to do that. Their customer service is excellent.
👤This is the second seat I've bought, so I'm going to write a review. The seat held up well in a crash. The seat was installed on the side. My husband and daughter came home safely that evening thanks to Ford and Graco. There is no higher praise for a car seat. This is the seat I recommend to everyone with forward facing kids and those with multiple kids. It's perfect for 3 situations. It is easy to install and second to none in my experience. I keep this in our second car so that I can adjust it between my three daughters with ease. They all say it's comfortable. I've had experience with a lot of different car seats and seat combinations with three young children and two cars. The seat is simple and has been my go-to seat recently. It's not fancy, it's not expensive, but it kept my daughter alive, and that's all I could ask for.
👤I thought I could help someone out by writing a review. I almost returned it the night I got it. I researched online for tips to get a good install. I tried tolatch first, but theadjuster kept getting in the way. I couldn't get the seat belt tight enough after locking it. The trick is to leave enough slack in the seat belt to pull as hard as you can until the seat belt is absolutely tight, then lock the retractor and put the excess in. Without pulling the belt horizontally, it wiggled 3 or more inches. It's not safe for a crash. I'm glad for forums online and tips for a tight install. Hope this helps.
The weight minimum for a booster car seat has been increased from 30 to 40 pounds to make it safer to transport a big kid. The booster is secured to the vehicle seat with a one-hand front-adjustlatch system. A secure connection keeps the booster seat stable. Do not bleach. A multi-layer headrest for your child. Even as your child grows, you will have full coverage. Energy-Absorbing foam is used for impact management. Your child is secured on all of your journeys.
👤My daughter has been using this seat for at least 2 years. We were in an accident. The impact was on the side of the car. Her head and body were stable thanks to this seat. I have to replace her last seat since the crash was not minor, so I will purchase this seat again.
👤I have bought four of these seats. I was involved in a car accident in which I slammed into two other cars. My four year old was restrained in a booster seat. The car seat did what it was designed to do and my child walked away with no injuries. The seat gets two thumbs up from my family.
👤The carseat is easy to install, but it doesn't last very long because of the latches and the fact that my child is buckled in. This is only used as our secondary carseat, and the back part doesn't stay put. It immediately falls back down when we adjust it upward. At this point, it's a safety hazard. We have tried contacting Graco customer service, but their service is very slow. It took three weeks for an initial response after we tried e-mailing. We called in the meantime. They initially wanted our receipt after sending us an e-mail with a claim number. We immediately sent it back. They took two weeks to respond. We e-mailed back within the day after they requested a video of the defect. We have not received a reply for three weeks. Avoid this product and save yourself money. We have two other Graco carseats that we love, but this booster seat is not one of them.
👤It works in my Honda Odyssey's captain chair. The addition of the latch is an awesome addition, it eliminates the sliding on my leather seats and the need to Buckle it when not in use. The belt guide allows the belt to glide through without getting stuck and I returned the booster I bought because I found another one that did the same thing. My 6 year old loves the red color and says it is comfy. The features this seat has are worth the price. It is great for a seat under $50 and adjusts up to 20 inches. It should last any child.
👤My extra tall 5 year old daughter feels comfortable in this carseat, it is easy to install, and it is easier to use on my Nissan Altima with the latch system. I used a 3 in 1 that was really good, secure, and well padded, but too bulky for a sedan, and I had to upgrade from a Safety 1st grow and go. She has a Safety 1st Alpha Elite 65 as her second carseat and it matches my car color and looks really good. The arm rest should be adjusted. It's ok for the price. I hope I don't have to buy another carseat as it will convert to a booster seat.
👤There were no issues with the installation of the ford f 150. I ordered a nice seat for my car. The plastic cup under the booster seat is still used by many people who didn't read the set up directions. Come on. It's one of the steps in getting the seat set up.

👤I am a professional nanny who has done hundreds of car seat installations for a variety of seats and cars and has taken multiple car seat classes. These seats are tanks. They require a few tricks of the trade to install. I was able to get a safe install while nine months pregnant in the Florida summer heat, but I would not recommend this seat if you are going to switch it between cars or have someone unfamiliar with car seat installations transporting your child. My son is two years old and he is in the middle seat of my Honda Civic. I needed a slim seat to maximize back seat usage. I wanted something that would last from newborn to booster. I was excited about the new seat because it addressed some of the issues I had with the previous ones. My baby is in the rear passenger seat. The bar is anti-rebound. The older Dionos have a strap that you attach to the front seat tracks which decreases rotation in a crash, but it can be difficult to set up and leave excess strap laying everywhere. Due to the design of the seats in my car, the anti-rebound bar does not completely brace against the seat, which is why it is supposed to be the replacement. It will not reduce rotation in a crash. There is a My first son was two weeks late and a decent size, so the RXT worked well from birth but would not be ideal for a small baby. The QXT has newborn features that make it great, such as keeping the new baby at a perfect angle and keeping his head from flopping around. The foot attachment at the bottom of the rear seat can slip into the back seat crack to achieve the desired angle, but some vehicles do not have a suitable crack for this to be positioned in. I have a spare seat for my mother's car because it is hard for me to get a safe rear facing install in her car. The issue hasn't been fixed in the new QXT. I am quite happy with the seat so far. My older RXT has held up well. I expect nothing different from this new series. I love that I can have both boys in the back of my little car with me. The seat has passed extensive safety tests and will hold up well in the event of a roll over crash. Give yourself plenty of time to get a safe install after reading the manual and looking up videos online, and be sure to research compatibility with your vehicle.
👤I have purchased four of these seats, one for each grandchild, and a replacement after an accident. This is the seat you want to sit in. The kids that I treated did well. This seat will help absorb the energy from an accident and help to protect your loved one.
👤The wife ordered three overpriced monstrosities for our cars. Installation in smaller vehicles is a nightmare because they weigh 50 pounds. Due to our situation, I will have to take these out and replace them several times a year. I will lose even more time when I have to remove and reinstall them because they have already cost me over 1000 dollars. I have one installed correctly, one that I gave up installing, and one that is still in the box after spending 4 hours. These things will haunt me until my kids grow up. The box they came in was loaded with trendy phrases so I guess it is all good.

👤The 4ever xtend2fit was advertised for a black friday sale. My wife and I got one of these for a good price from the babies and we are closing sales. We have a second baby on the way in April and thought we could use one in each car until we need both. The description was read by me. It has a tightlatch system. We have the same thing. The issue is here. I notice different colors and click through. The other "color" options were cheaper. I understand that manufacturers sell less popular colors for less. It happens all the time. If you change the color, you also change the product. The 4ever extend2fit is still said to be. It's not the same as the EZ Tight LATCH system. Their basic one is more difficult to tighten. To take it out. That is a large task. If this doesn't get resolved, I will be returning the product and buying a different brand. I don't like the idea of advertising and changing the product description to make it look different.
👤The car seat has grown with my child over the last 3 years. She is a tall girl and it has fit her perfectly. It is very easy to adjust to her needs and secure her car. I don't mind taking a few extra minutes to install her seat because I know she's safe. The quality and safety features of the car seat make up for the fact that it is a little heavy. Our car was totaled in the accident. The impact was so hard that we spun our car around in a circle and the tail light came out on the other side of my car. Her car door was split in half. My daughter walked away with a bruise on her forehead and a side impact cushion. She has had more injuries than this from falling. Her car seat didn't budge at all. Even though it was a hard impact, it was completely secured. After looking at photos, doctors at the ER were surprised that she had only a bruise. I am so thankful for this seat. We replaced her seat with the same one and didn't think twice.
👤We had this seat for about 8 months and liked the idea of it being a one and done seat. We started potty training. One time the seat was soaked by our daughter. I took the seat out, cleaned it, and put it back in the car. The smell of urine was present in the car about 3 days later. The seat was the source. I took it out again and realized that it was impossible to get to the base because of the urine. I need to either buy a new seat or deal with the smell. It is hard to buy a new seat for the amount we paid, but the smell is overwhelming. If you decide to buy this seat, make sure to put down pee pads during potty training.

👤It was not taken lightly that I had to order 3 of these carseats. We absolutely love them. They fit in the 3rd row of the car. The good is very easy to clean. The only issue is that they are very long and if you are rear facing in the photo it sticks out a lot. These are by far the hardest. I'm not sure if it was because we have so many or so close together, but if it was, uninstall it. If you have 3 under 2 like me, you should buy this carseat because it will fit 3 across and save you time trying to fit 10 other carseats.
👤The car seat is heavy. Installation was easy for a small person like me. However! I had my son in this car seat when we were t-boned. My son was behind me because it was difficult to get him out of the middle seat in a big F-150 after we were hit. I learned something. I had to have emergency surgery for a broken skull, fractured eye sockets, and brain hemorrhage. I have a long recovery ahead of me, but my son died. I think this car seat saved his life. My son came out of the wreck without any injuries. The attending EMTs told me that they were surprised to find us not dead but unharmed. This is a very sturdy car seat that is easy to install. My son is a big boy and has always been comfortable in it. My son spills everything and the cover isn't as easy to clean as I would hope for, so I wish it was made of a stronger fabric. It stands up to a delicate cycle, but some messes require more scrubbing that this cover wouldn't stand up to. I would recommend this seat. The nurses asked about the car seat when they found out my son had been in the wreck, and he was happy and healthy. I told them to use this Diono.
👤The back of the cover is ripped after one wash. How is this product supposed to last? They are waiting to hear if they will replace it.
👤The 4th seat arrived and is not an open box. Don't give up, another open box used seat arrived today. I'll keep coming back until I get a new one from Amazon. I went from four stars to one in a shabby update. My daughter in law just got one of these and wants the same set up as the others, so I bought her a spare. I can see that the seat is in a bashed up box. The packing is retaped and some bits are missing. This is shabby. I didn't buy an open box so I'm sending it back for a replacement. I'm not the only buyer to get a used seat. I bought 3 of these for a 2015 Grand Cherokee, but I wouldn't bother with the middle unless you want to be pushed up against the steering wheel. I'll get another Diono 3R for the middle forward facing position in 18 months. The seats are too tall for rear facing. Everything else is okay with the seats. Excellent build quality.
The LATCH equipped Safety 1st car seat is perfect for smaller cars or for extra space in your larger vehicle, and it accommodates children from 5 to 40 pounds in rear facing mode and from 22 to 65 pounds in forward facing mode. The harness should be adjusted from the front of the seat. The infant car seat has side impact protection built into it. Three of these seats can fit side by side in the back seat of most cars, perfect for growing families and carpools. A cup holder and body pillows make it easy for your child to sit in the seat. The car seat has a one year limited warranty. Safety 1st is the leader in child safety and they want to give you peace of mind so you can spend less time worrying and more time enjoying your child. 👤Allow me to speak out against something. Is it portable? Yes. It is much lighter and easier to carry than the Britax Marathon. It is airport-friendly to parents' backs. The positives end here. The car seat's slimness is both a blessing and a curse because it's lighter in weight and narrow, which will make your toddler pinched in this. The boys tend to be bigger. The car seat has a problem with safety. A car seat that is easy to install by a parent is a good sign. If your child is not properly secured in a titanium car seat, it will be worthless. When I took the car seat to a car seat technician, I realized the difficulties. He said that he hates this particular car seat because most parents who come to him with it don't have it installed correctly and it's not their fault. It is nearly impossible to install a car seat using the LATCH feature. You almost need to be Arnold Schwarzenegger in his prime to have the strength to tighten this. Many parents compromise to move on. That is not enough. If the car seat continues to wiggle, your little one is not safe and can be whipped around dangerously in a car accident or if you brake too hard. So, you think you'll use the seatbelt? The problem is not solved. It is very difficult to tighten the seat belt to avoid moving beyond the 1 inch allowed in the user manual. Only 1 inch of wiggle is allowed by many parents. The recline is an issue because the seat almost cannot be properly tightened. The manual says that it is safe for your child to recline. The seat belt that is supposed to hold it in place is too loose, which causes the seat to recline too much. You should put your child in a highchair and drive. There is a long story short. The fact that the seat is not adequately tightened makes it very dangerous. Skip this one. I write reviews to give back to the Amazon community. **
👤Our family had to choose between a minivan and our first home with three kids. We were left wondering how long we'd be able to cram everyone into our Honda Accord, as it was pretty stuffed already and the twins would outgrow their baby cars quickly. Satefy first to the rescue! They fit! The price was reasonable and they were advertised as compact, so I decided to try them. They are comfortable for both my small and large toddlers. We are very happy with this seat.
👤I love my safety. Guide 65 is a car seat. My son does the same. The Pro's are Stain free, Smell free, Very comfortable and soft, and Easy to Buckle baby in with the lower Buckle as opposed to other brands. The baby trend is here. The lower clasp makes it difficult for both hands to concentrate. The larger chest plate seems to stay put easier and the lower buckle can be clasped one side at a time, which makes it easy to install and compatible with any vehicle. This is high quality and cheap. Con's: Uh? Doesn't come in a size that mom can fit in. I love it so much that I would love to own one. The bottom line is an excellent deal. I look for quality in a good purchase.
