The 3 in 1 car seat is built to grow for extended use through 3 stages: rear facing 5 40 pounds, forward facing 22 to 65 pounds, and belt positioning booster 40 to 100 pounds. Side impact protection. The Grow and Go's side impact protection helps keep your child safe. Two cup holders. For a comfortable ride, grow with baby pillows. It is easy to get your child in and out of the seat with the harness holders. The rear facing height is between 19 and 40 inches. The forward facing height is 29 to 52 inches. The Quickfit Harness can be adjusted in one simple step. Up to 7 inches of extra room in the front is taken up by taking up less space in the back seat. 👤I'm not sure what will happen if that headline doesn't get your attention. My child slept through a fender bender in this car seat. I poured over the car seats when my daughter outgrew her first one. I researched to a very high degree. I purchased this car seat because it had many of the features of the more expensive "name brand" car seats without the price tag. I was not disappointed when the seat arrived. It feels sturdy, comfortable, and fits inside our vehicles. I was not disappointed in my purchase, even though it wasn't the "fanciest" car seat out there. 6 months later. My daughter is 18 months old. We are running around and I am stopped at a stop sign when a truck smashes into our tiny hybrid The driver was going between 30 to 45 miles per hour. I was stopped completely. I jarred both of my legs into the floor, bruised my shoulder area, and had whiplash. My daughter (rear facing in this car seat) did not sustain any injuries in the crash and was able to keep her head above water. That is impressive to me. Safety 1st kept my most precious cargo safe. This car seat is an excellent one.
👤I bought this car seat to make sure I have a good seat for the long drive. My daugher has a car seat that is over $300, but I don't want him in it. Thanks. The car seat is reasonably priced and has a good amount of recline. I had an issue with the installation. I was able to tighten the LATCH straps, however, when I pulled at the belt area, I saw that the car seat could roll over. The Car Seat Lady is on youTube. Make sure the base is centered into the seat and make sure the LATCH straps are centered as well. Pull the LATCH strap from behind when you move your front seat up. You can put your body weight in the car seat and push it down. The outside/ inside method is used to pull the LATCH strap. This will help you leverage and you can put the seat in the upright position if you want. The Car Seat Lady says that this will help you in getting a tight fir of the clearest so it won't move. The back of the car seat can wiggle a little, but all the videos I watch state that if you pull back/forth and left/ right on the seat at the belt path, it will be installed correctly. Hope that helps.
👤I ordered the two models to make their decision since so many compared them. Safety First Go three-in-one and Graco four-ever both recline to the same point when sitting on a flat surface. Both get to the same point, but they have different intervals. The Safety First model will recline more when the line is parallel than the 4 model, which requires more incline to achieve a centered bubble. See the photo. I booked under the hind-side to adjust to the proper level. The seats are in a reclined position. There is more height in the headrest. Significantly so. I was surprised by how little adjustment there is. The car will fit better with the narrower Graco. It is enough for a boost-aged child. I fit in. There is a lot of padding for a baby. I would feel safe putting an infant in. The foam feels denser than a memory foam. Both adjust easily in regards to recline and headrest positions. The easy release button is on both of them. The Safety First is lighter than the Graco. The latch system has been mentioned by others. Graco being easier. I can't attest to that because I haven't installed them in the vehicle yet. I hope this helps. I was looking for a review to make a decision. We'll either keep the 4 or return the Safety First, whichever is more convenient for us. The side view of the photos shows the amount of lift required on solid ground in order to achieve proper line/bubble placement when fully reclined.

👤We bought this car seat a few months ago. It fits in the back of our car. We were in a car accident yesterday and the front air bags deployed. Our son was secured in the back seat of the car. It was almost like he didn't know there had been an accident because this car seat kept him safe. He probably wouldn't have noticed anything if it weren't for the sirens and fire trucks. We are going to buy another one of these.
👤I read through the reviews and decided to write a review. I have had a car seat for a year. I wanted something that would stay in my car all the time, so I started using it when my baby was too heavy to carry in the infant seat. I like the design of the mickey mouse. I have installed every car seat I have ever owned in the same way, so I am not sure why others had a hard time installing it. We have gone through at least 6 or 7 car seats here. The anchor clips are the same as any other brand I have seen, and I have used other safety first styles as well. If your car has locking seatbelts, you can use the seatbelt install. If you use both methods at the same time, it can put too much stress on the seat and cause it to not function properly over time. The standard 5 point harness style is used in America and Canada. Some reviews said the straps were unsafe. I believe they wanted the old style harness with no chest clip, like they still use in Australia, the UK and Asia. This seat is easy to install. The material and padding is very soft for my baby. She can raise the back up as she gets taller. My daughter is smaller than average so I plan to rear face for a long time. I am happy that I found this seat that I can use throughout that time and that I can face her when she is older.
👤It's amazing! My daughter is about to be 6 months old on the 22nd and her legs have started to hang off the edge of the carrier so we needed to buy a new "Big girl" carseat. I was looking for a grow with me. I fell in love with the bonus features of this one. The impact cushions, the 2 cup holders, and the fact that I can remove the harness and use it as a seatbelt booster seat until she weighs 100 lbs were some of the reasons I decided to purchase this specific carseat. Not to mention the fact that it's a mickey mouse. I got the order 36 hours later. It was assembled completely. I had to pull it out of the box. Don't even think about how soft the material is. My baby girl loves her new carseat. I will never have to buy another carseat for her because of the "grow with me" aspect. I am 1000% satisfied with my order and would recommend this carseat again and again.
Installation is done in less than one minute using a vehicle seat belt or LATCH. It helps protect rear-facing infants from 4 to 32 lbs. The base has 4 recline positions so you can tailor it to your vehicle. The easy-to-read level indicator makes it easy to know if it is installed correctly. A travel system can be created by attaching a car seat base to a stroller. A travel system can be created by attaching a car seat base to a stroller.
👤I bought this in October for a baby shower gift. The window of return closes one month before the baby's due date. I should have thought about the possibility of returning it because I love graco car seats. The baby came 4 weeks early after the window of return. She is 6 lbs and this model does not have a small infant insert. There is no support for the head of an infant. I can't return this unsafe seat because it's not safe. Until now, I have never been disappointed by anything.
👤The only people I could find who received the product for free were people who had limited reviews online. Here's my regular consumer review. We are expecting baby #2 in May and used the regular Snugride click connect 35 with our 1st child, so I will make some comparisons to that model. I got this on sale for $60 off and it was a great deal at $112 with tax. The new carseat base from Graco really hit it out of the park. You can either thread the seatbelt across the base and through the holes or you can thread the strap across the base and through the holes. The carseat instruction manual can be stored in the front storage case of the latch straps. You hook the seatbelt or latch straps into the car, and then put the arm down, and it locks with a click. This is a lockoff, so that the strap cannot move around, and you get a really tight, secure install of the base. The old click connect 35 base was a bit of a pain to install because the seatbelt or latch strap still moved when threaded through the holes in the base, there was no lock off. It's sometimes difficult to get the straps tight, because you have to pull so hard. The base would still move under the straps. This is 100 times better and safer than before. The hook attachment on the LATCH straps isn't as nice as the button attachment. If you upgrade to the "fancier" 35 versions, you will get the 1 button release attachment. The latch hooks were not worth an extra $100 to me because of the sale price. The click connect base has an adjustment for recline position, but the base with the recline position is different. The dial is no longer red, but a handle and a plastic ramp that come out from the bottom. The new snuglock model is a nicer feature than the old base and it's easier to use. The seat is a little nicer than the old one. The outer textiles are nice, but the seat part is more of a "rough" fabric, similar to their older model fabric. I'm not sure why they chose to have two different types of fabric, the rougher one where the child sits, and the more water and stain resistant one, which is nice when you have a baby in there. The fabric on the seat might be more modern than the ones on the deluxe models. The newborn insert is flatter and doesn't wrap around the baby's head, just pads on the side. It feels thicker than the older 35 insert. It's not as big as the current inserts. If you research, I don't think these newborn inserts do much in regards to accident safety, they just make parents feel better, and help position baby in the seat. The older model insert did not do the job for that purpose, but this insert does. The weight is great and lightweight. The seat is on the lighter end of infant seats. I picked up a snugride 40 and a britax b safe in the store. I ruled them out because of the weight being too heavy for me to carry around all the time. The inner seat fabric is softer than the canopy. It is not as rough as my old 35 fabric. I don't know terms for textiles. The canopy of the elite version in the store was soft, thin, and high end, and this is a much cheaper fabric. The older model is more difficult to move. You have to wiggle and fight with it to get it to go up and down. The older canopy moved more easily and didn't have audible clicks, so it's a downgrade. The smooth gliding canopy is also available in the deluxe versions. They decided to "cheap out" with this canopy. It's probably my least favorite feature. The older 35 model does not extend as far as this canopy does, but it is still nice and can be a pain to get past the handle. The handle moves by pushing the red buttons on each side. I am a person with no coordination and this is not an issue for me. I don't think a button in the middle of the handle is worth an extra $100. Sometimes the canopy has to be moved out of the way as the handle moves. Standard harness straps are used. The harness has a re-thread feature, but the other models have a no re-thread feature. It's not a big deal with an infant carseat because you can easily remove it from the base and get to the back. When your child becomes front-facing, the no re-thread harness is great because it makes adjusting the straps easier. The no-rethread option is nice, but it's not really worth the extra cost on the infant seat. There's no difficulty in rethreading the straps. The crotch strap is easy to pull, some seats are hard to tighten and adjust, but this one is smooth and effortless. The only thing I don't like about the seats is the button to loosen the crotch strap, which is reached by sticking your finger in the hole. Since it's hidden, it's not intuitive. If someone else takes the baby, I need to remind them how to tighten the straps, because you have to finagle your finger around to find the metal button. I hope they update this feature in the future. The little carseat strap covers were an unexpected bonus. They're soft and a little perk. The older 35 seat did not have them. I really recommend this seat. I think it is on sale for a bit less at some retailers. The new snuglock base is an improvement over the old click connect base. The seat has some nice improvements, but it felt a little cushier than the previous model. If you want more features like no-rethread hardness or a bigger snuglock base, you should upgrade to the more expensive model.
The package content and age are listed. The car seat footstool is compatible with all car and booster seats. 👤The item is not good, but I like the concept. I don't understand the reviews. This item was very weak and flimsy. The piece of plastic that holds the footrest in place is very fragile and can break easily. The product makes clear on the item, box, and instructions not to use it as a step. That makes no sense. Your child will have to stand on the footrest for the most briefest moment in order to get out of the seat. Are we supposed to place our kids in the seat in order to avoid stepping on this thing? It's ridiculous. I don't understand why manufacturers do this. Please make a quality product. If the product is good, we will happily pay the higher price for it. But to charge us $50 for a flimsy product? We have 2 kids, that's $100 for a substandard item. You have to be kidding. We were happy to return ours. I recommend that you stay away from this item.
👤When my 6 year old started to complain about numbness in his feet after long car rides, I started looking for a footrest. I settled on this one because it looked good. I ordered one to try out because they addressed the problems that I was experiencing and the same unit would be able to give relief to my younger kids as well. The locking mechanism on the foot plate broke after the second use. I don't think it's obvious where it might have popped out of place. I expected the build on this footrest to be more sturdy, given all of the advertising for crash testing. When I heard a pop and the two tabs locked the footplate in the open position, I activated the mechanism to move the footplate into place. I'm not sure if I want to request a second unit because I'm not sure how quickly this broke. I will be sending this back to Amazon after requesting a refund.
👤I put this in my car for my son who is in a booster seat. The installation took a while. The car's latch system was to blame. It was difficult to attach this to the latches. It wouldn't stay in place after it was installed. The most frustrating part was folding the footrest so my son could get in and out of the car. My fingers are sore from trying to adjust the footrest. It wouldn't fold down. I'm going to take everything out of my car. What a waste!
👤It's hard to keep in place and the leather seats tear up. They wouldn't return or replace it after 8 months, even though they bought a product warranty, because they couldn't adjust to my 45 inch tall child. Total waste.
👤I have had this for more than a year. It was easy to use when I first got it. It was difficult to get it adjusted, but we eventually got it. I adjusted it twice after installing it. It was difficult, but we got it. After less than a year of use, it was stuck and we haven't been able to adjust it any more. I can't change the slant. The foot rest is stuck in place, but the bar will go up and down. I tried a second time and it didn't work. I want to change the position of my son, but I have not been able to because everything is in place. I paid $50 for a plastic stool. I'm giving it two stars for the first 6 months, because it used to do what it was supposed to do.
The canopy has an angle and height for UV protection. There is additional shade protection on either side of the car seat. The 4-in-1 seating system has a rear facing infant mode. Toddler mode from 18 to 40 lbs. The forward facing mode is from 22 to 65 lbs. The belt positioning booster mode is from 40 to 100 lbs. Child can adjust the canopy when the car is moving and the sun is coming from multiple directions. The coverme's comfort cabin has extra padding to make the child comfortable on long rides. There is no rethread harness. Three recline positions allow front seat passengers to have extra legroom, while an integrated recline flip foot gives the right angle and allows dual adjustment. It is at its widest and can be used for three across in most vehicles. The Baby Trend Cover Me 4-in-1 convertible car seat is 18.25′′ and can fit three children across most vehicles. 👤The product listing has a different name. The listing calls it 3 in 1, but it is actually 4 in 1. The name needs to be changed quickly. The most important thing is the expiration date. Do not use this car seat in harness mode for 7 years after the date on the back of the seat. The Booster Car Seat Mode will not work after the date on the back of the seat. This is a great car seat. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that other brands have, but it's a great car seat for the price. The canopy is the BOMB, it is comfortable, stylish, and has dual cup holders. My kids are spoiled when it comes to sun protection because my SUV has sun shades for them. They were agitated that the sun was in their eyes when they rode in my mom's car. This car seat solved the problem. It is easy to install. The car seat is $100 cheaper than some of the higher end brands, but it is not as easy to adjust. I needed a car seat for my kids to use in my mom's car so they wouldn't fall into it. I have 2 kids in car seats. All of them have different seating requirements. I was stressed out by having to constantly change car seats between cars, and knowing we would be adding a third child to the mix. I needed an all in one car seat that could be adjusted to fit my family in a single seating system so I didn't have to install car seats into my mom's car. This single car seat can be adjusted to fit all three of my kids. It does. The infant is facing the Rear Facing Infant. Toddler mode from 18 to 40 lbs. The forward facing mode has a weight limit of 22 to 65 lbs. I know some people think the belt positioning booster is bulky, but it is actually smaller than the other car seats in my SUV. If you have a smaller car, the canopy isn't going to obstruct your view because it's larger. I am happy with the car seat. It is safe, comfortable, and I am not having to move my car seats between vehicles anymore. I will get to try the infant seating positions soon. Hope this review was helpful.
👤Beautiful! Looks comfortable. The sun shade is my favorite thing about it. You can't find a car seat with a sun shade. It is helpful.
👤The design and canopy are great. I have a small child with no head support. This carseat review will try and update down the road.
👤We have bought several car seats so that we don't have to move them between 3 cars. This is the easiest thing to do. I can easily slide the shade from the front seat if my granddaughter is sleeping. She is going to fly twice in the next couple months and I really liked that it was approved by the FAA. She will be very comfortable flying. We did not get her until she was a year old, but the pads and comfort would be great for an infant. It is worth the extra money.
Kids can ride longer with extended use. Rear facing 5 40 pounds and forward facing 22 50 pounds. Side impact protection. The seat pad is safe to use in the dryer. 5 point harness with adjustment. 6 harness heights and 3 buckle locations allow for the best fit for growing children. 6 harness heights and 3 buckle locations allow for the best fit for growing children.
👤It is a nice seat. It is not for everyone. This car seat is different because it is not designed to fit the height and weight requirements that it claims are impossible. My daughter is only 25.5 inches tall and her head is already at the top of the car seat shell. She is 14 months old and has 18 pounds on her, she doesn't sit comfortably in it, she is all slumpy looking in the seat. The mickey/Minnie design is cute, but there is not a lot of cushion for accident protection, so go with a better car seat.
👤I haven't installed it yet, so I'm only giving it a 3 star. The bright red appears to be the same color as the orange red. There isn't a Mickey on the bottom right. The seat cover has labels sewn on it. The box says it was made in America. Booster says it was made in China. The product says Doral isn't anywhere. I know Dorel is the owner of cosco. Is this a true Disney product or a knock off? It seems like it's not right. Where is the signature? Don't advertise Made in America if it's clearly assembled in America. If it is not a counterfeit that is unsafe, it is worth the price, but it is not as advertised. I contacted Doral. The seat is genuine. Customer service is very professional. I did not have to ask for the wrong cover. She told me it would arrive by the end of the week. According to Doral, the seat feels flimsy because it is made to move during a crash to absorb pressure rather than the child. It makes sense. Customer service gets a rating. There was an update on December 16. I have had many phone conversations with Doral. According to customer service, the Mickey signature car seat padding has been discontinued. I make it for the APT 40. I don't know why they discontinued it for one size car seat. Customer service still gets a five star rating from me. They sent a car seat pad. It was the same as the one on the original car seat. They said they would send a gift for my grandson. They said it would take about two weeks. If you order a APT 50 carseat, your pad will not have Mickey written on the bottom right corner. 12/18: I wanted to keep this seat, but I had to fit it to my 34 inch. The grandson's shoulder straps were set at second from top. As he grows, I tried them at the highest set, but couldn't get the straps to reach the anchor to connect on the back. I was able to get them connected, but there is not a way to fit an older child in the seat. I tried to see if wrong straps were sent, but have not heard back. We wanted to use this seat in our grandparents car as he grows. It won't work with these short straps. I am a nurse so I have a lot of experience managing things. They sent a gift for my grandson who had been through a lot. It was a baby toy. I don't want to sound thankless, but he is 2 don't patronizing your custamers. The shell is made in the use, but Doral has some work to do on the seat. It works for some, but not in 6mo. It's not as advertised.
Your child's car seat can grow from a rear-facing harness to a forward-facing harness. Your child can safely ride rear-facing longer with the Extend2fit 4-position panel. Simply Safe has a no-rethread harness and a no-rethread headrest. Simply Safe has a no-rethread harness and a no-rethread headrest.
👤This is our 8th car seat and 5th child. We have had several before this one. It's my favorite of all the car seats we've ever had, so I had to review it. It's seriously. The Diono is heavy and difficult to adjust to, the Britax is cumbersome, and the Evenflos are cheap and thin. None of them have covers that are easy to wash. The covers are easy to put back together. The metal parts you want to be safe and sturdy are latches, tether, etc. The adjusting pieces are large and easy to grasp. Oh! That is the other thing. I couldn't get my hand into any of the others in the way I needed to, not for adjusting, not for installing, and not for moving stuff around. I can get my paw through the appropriate areas. The harness adjustment feature is enough to give repeat business. I didn't say anything dirty while installing. Heeheehee
👤I couldn't ask for a better car seat when I bought it at Target. My daughter is 16 months old and still rear facing, she is very comfortable with the extended leg room. She was laughing and playing in the back seat of the car that was totaled in the accident, even though nothing happened. I just added it to my cart and will be buying it again for my new car.
👤I was frustrated with how hard it was to tighten the seatbelt. You need to have the strength of 10,000 people to tighten it. I figured it out. Pull the slack from around the child's hips once the chest clip and belt are buckled. The chest clip and shoulder strap covers should be lowered. The slack is above the chest clip. The strap needs to be tightened. It will be very easy. We shouldn't have to go through this, but once you know how to do it, it's not bad. It is easy to remove the cover, but it is not so easy to put it on. The seat cover is secured with small elastic loops. The loops need to be threaded through small holes to reach the hook. If you don't have a crochet hook, you will throw the seat away. With the crochet hook, I was able to thread the elastic loop through the small holes and over the fastening hooks with very little effort.
👤We don't plan ahead very well. We were worried when our kid was upgraded to a convertible car seat. We weren't sure if we would be able to find a small car that fit my wife's small car. We looked for a budget friendly car seat because we are already spending an arm and leg for diaper changing. We wanted something to keep him calm. We have three digit temperatures where we are located, which means we have something that could fit in a corolla and the passenger didn't have to move their seat to the point where they were kissing the dash. The fact that it grows with the child makes it a better investment than a budget friendly convertible seat. The fabric allows our son to breathe during the hot days. He gets a little sweat on his back but that is normal with all car seats. I know he doesn't mind the seat because he always passes out with each car ride. We were able to keep the front passenger and driver seat in the back of the car. I enjoy any little leg room I can get. This seat is perfect for your child.
Click-in attachment for infant car seats. Proper base angle is achieved by using the reclineSure leveling foot. The Ride Right bubble level-indicators verify the base angle. The SuperCinch LATCH tightener helps with a secure fit. Smooth underside helps protect seats. Smooth underside helps protect seats.
👤When my son was expecting a baby, he researched the best safety features for baby car seats. He has seen the results of good and bad car seats for babies when he has been at the scene of accidents. The original bucket and base were gifts from the baby register. I bought a base and a second for his vehicle. The baby can be secured in his seat before he leaves the house. The base of each vehicle makes it easy to move between them.
👤A decade is the lifetime of most child car seats. There is a sticker on the bottom of the base that says "Do not use after" The date of manufacture is 6 years. Six years is enough for a child. If you plan to use this base for multiple children separated by a few years or sell it after your children have grown up, you may be out of luck. The base is worthless after six years. Six years is not a long time for these dates. In 6 or 10 or 20 years, the seats and seatbelts in your car won't fail.
👤Once the base is installed, it's very convenient. It is very difficult to get it tight. I can see why the local fire department would check for adequare instillation, because it is very difficult to get it tight against the back seat. My son in law was able to get proper instillation because he had experience installing in his own car and getting a fire department review. It's a necessity to have a base for each vehicle to be used as moving it from one vehicle to another would be time consuming and not possible for anyone with less mobility or hand strength.
👤I needed the base for my car since my girls have the Chico Keyfit carseats for their babies, and I reviewed it before buying it. I have read the reviews about the carseats and base and they are very safe and top of line. When they come to visit. I know my kids will be safe in my car.
👤I have used worse car seat bases but haven't found a better one. It's in the bag, baby. The levels are great for different things. The seat belt attachment points work well. It was used both ways. The orange helps you see the buttons that you need to press. It's handy.
👤I bought this as a second base for my initial combo set. I am allergic to tobacco and it was full of it. I never used because of that. The base that came with the car seat was easy to install. I didn't use this particular one because it was disgusting, I just didn't think it was safe for baby.
👤This was easy to install. It took seconds. Click, pull cord, squeeze leveler, done. It has a level bubble on it, and I love that it has an orange button on it. Push the orange button on the cord and click the red buttons on the buckles to remove it. The buttons are all red or orange, so it's easy to know what to do. I didn't have to read the instructions. You should know how it works if you look at it.
The 5-point harness is converted to a belt-positioning booster. Duo Guard side-impact protection for head and torso. The seat has a recline, 9-position headrest, and padding/contour. The Lock Sure belt-tightening system is easy to install. 2 dishwasher-safe Cup Folders with push-button removal. 2 dishwasher-safe Cup Folders with push-button removal.
👤A few days ago, I looked in the mirror and saw a car coming towards us, not stopping, as my car was stopped in a typical highway backup. I was able to say before impact that he was going to hit us. The car hit us at 50 mph. My wife was in the passenger seat, our 4 year old son was behind me, and we had another empty car seat behind me. The wreck was happening in slow motion and I was thinking of my 4 year old. The paramedics took him to the hospital. My wife and I only had minor neck injuries because of his car seat. The empty rear facing model held up. I always read reviews and safety ratings, but never thought I would be in that situation. If it happens to you, you want a car seat like this. I am buying a new one to replace the one that was destroyed.
👤My daughter was kept alive by this car seat. This one was replaced by the exact same model.
👤My child is big and tall, and his head would flop forward when he fell asleep in his carseat. I researched several seats before we decided on this one. The infant seat we used was a key fit from Chicco. This one is just as easy to use. My favorite features are 1. This model is lighter in weight than many other models, but has many important safety features. 2. I don't feel like I'm putting my son into a spaceship with the padding around the headrest. The shape of the headrest "wings" makes it possible for him to see out the windows of the car. 3. When he falls asleep in the car, his head rests against the wing of the car, not at an awkward angle like it did in his convertible. 4. The cupholders have been useful. The flexible material makes it feel less fragile and cheap. 5. It's easy to keep this seat clean. The hard pieces can be wiped down easily if you remove the cover. 6. It was easy to install. I have a seat from another brand that is better, but it's hard to get in and out of cars and airplanes. The level and guide labels make it easy. 7. It seems like it's based on recent research and technology. The seats that have been selling well for a long time are not the only ones that have been changed. It's a well-executed design with thoughtful shaping of safety features that still allow for a comfortable experience. I was shopping for a toddler harness booster and decided between the Britax models and this one. I want my child to be safe, but also comfortable. I'm sure a Britax seat would have been a good choice, but I'm glad we went with the Chicco My Fit.
👤I can't say enough good things about Chicco car seats. Our young man just turned 4 years old, and this is his 3rd Chicco. We went from the KeyFit to the NextFit and now we love it! He could have ridden in the NextFit for a while, but we have a new addition in the family so this guy graduated to the big boy seat so his little cousin could have the size down. Every Chicco we have has been worth every penny we have spent, they look great, are easy to use and adjust, and are leaps and bounds above the competition. If you are looking for a car seat or booster, we would recommend anything made by Chicco.
The installation of SnugLock Technology is easy and compatible with all Graco Click Connect rear facing infant car seats. The In Right LATCH system has a one second attachment. Easy to read bubble level indicator helps eliminate installation confusion. You can store the manual in the easily accessible manual storage location if you want. Check your state and local laws for car seat usage. Check your state and local laws for car seat usage.
👤The base that came with our car seat was very difficult to remove. I had to ask my husband to help me do it. The button that you push to loosen the strap gets caught under the base and it's almost impossible to push down. All your body weight is required. I watched a lot of videos to see if there was a simpler way. After 45 minutes of fighting it, my husband was able to get the base out of his car. We gambled on this base and it is a little different. Both of us can get it in and out of this base much easier. It feels safe and can still tighten.
👤Click and Classic are not compatible. Even though both are Model 35, there is no distinction offered in the product description. "To Bad..." is what Graco just said. Classic is obsolete and not compatible.
👤I love that it punches the seat belt. Before you install the car seat, you need to lift up the grey lever, put the seatbelt through the slots, tighten the belt, and then push the grey lever down over the seatbelt. When you try wiggling, the car seat doesn't move when you push down. It is easy to remove the car seat.
👤I bought this base for my husband's car. The red pattern on the Click Connect car seat and stroller travel system is what we have here. The base that came with the package was easy to install. The base that was said to be the most accurate was this one. I got a stroller, carseat, and base for 120 bucks and I feel like it's a little pricey. The carseat clicks into this base. I used the LATCH system for both of our vehicles. The base is very sturdy and can't be pushed more than a little left or right. It seems like this base isn't tight enough. We have it installed correctly, and I can move the base quite a bit. The strap seems to tighten. It tightens up but then slacks. It's getting locked in place because you can't loosen the strap. It seems like it's not as safe. I wish we could have bought the grey one that came with the travel system.
👤We bought an extra base so that we don't have to change it. It was easy to get a base snug and buckled down, but it would be difficult to pull it out. It's worth it to be able to set the car seat in and go. We have one in my car, one in my husband's, so it makes things easier to coordinate with care takers. We might buy a third base for our daughter.
👤It's the same as the one that came with our car seat. It is easier to use now. The seat belt and hooked strap can be used for added protection. It was worth the money to have the car seat easy to use and not have to re- strap it to our vehicle. It's safer for the baby as there's less of a chance of something going wrong. The shipment was quicker than we expected.
The world's most compact and narrow booster is called the COMPACT AND NARROW BOOSTER SEAT. 40 to 100 lbs. are designed for kids aged 4 and up. Mifold is more than 10x smaller than a traditional booster and is just as safe. It's a convenient seat for travel. The comfort booster fits into a child's backpack, glove box or parent's handbag, making it perfect for ride sharing, three across and more. The new version includes an extra padded seat, an updated shell design, anti-slip pads and an easy to fit shoulder guide. The toddler's booster seat is regulated for use in every country except Australia and Taiwan because it has been tested and proven to be safe. Mifold ensures optimal seat belt fit. Instead of lifting the child up, the grab-and-go car seat adjusts the adult seat belt by pulling it down to fit the child safely and securely. Mifold ensures optimal seat belt fit. 👤When my youngest child graduated from a convertible to a booster seat, I had to do a bit of car seat shuffling in my van and find a smaller profile booster for her so that she could use the narrow seat in my Honda Odyssey. I was able to sit three children across the second row of my minivan. The game gave me the chance to try out a variety of booster seats, both full size and compact travel size, to see what fit best for my daughter. We found that having a Mi-Fold seat on hand for our second and third cars as well as for travel would be good to have on hand, but we settled on a Graco RightGuide seat belt trainer. This is the review of the new Mi-Fold Comfort and the comparison of it to the older Mi-Fold Sport Luxury booster. I've never used the original Mi-Fold booster because I've read so many negative reviews about how it wouldn't be comfortable and wouldn't fold while the child was using it. I ordered a Mi-fold One non folding booster and sent it back because the cushion on the seat wasn't good and it wouldn't stay in place on the leather seats when my child sat on it. When we initially ordered several different boosters, the Mi-Fold Sport was one of the seats that we felt was worth keeping. It has good quality, it has good rubber gripping on it to keep it in place, and it has plenty of cushion. The shoulder strap is the only complaint I have about the seat. It is difficult to adjust the length because of the thick strap. The seat belt clip is difficult to open. I like that the Sport comes with a carrying case so we can store the seat when not in use. The Mi-Fold Comfort is very similar to the Sport version. The height and weight range for the seat is different. The comfort is for children between 33 and 100 lbs. 40 to 57 inches tall is what the Sport is for. The seats are the same in dimensions. It's not clear what makes the Comfort suitable for a smaller child. The Comfort has six small triangles on the bottom to help keep the seat from slipping under your child. While the seat stays in place, I think the Sport has a better non-slip bottom since it is a larger area. The material on the seat is similar to a jersey. I don't like the texture of the seat fabric. The faux leather material on the Sport model is better for me. The strap guide on the Comfort is better than the one on the Sport. The material is easy to adjust. The shoulder belt clip is easy to use. You can feed the belt into the guide and be good to go. This design will make it easier to use this seat in a car. The instructions for how to fit this booster to a child are printed on the seat's webbing. The manual booklet contains the instructions for the sport model. It is difficult to put the manual in the pocket without messing it up because the pocket is tight on the Comfort model. The manual can be put into the storage pocket on the Sport model. The Sport has an aluminum bottom on one half and is heavier than the Comfort because it has a plastic bottom. My nine year old found it comfortable. We got the Sport model seat and she didn't like it. My son thinks the seat on the Sport is better than the one on the Comfort, but he doesn't think it's bad. The price difference between the Comfort and the Sport models is the same. The Sport can be three dollars more. I prefer the Sport to the Comfort because of the nicer materials. If you have a child who is 40 inches or 40 lbs, the sport might be better. If you have a smaller child or want the lightest of the two for travel, the Comfort is a good choice. I like that the Comfort can be used by a four year old who is less than the height and weight requirements of the Sport model. The Sport model that I purchased from Amazon two months ago was made over two years ago, so it was brand new when I received it. The Comfort was just released in 2020 and has a manufacturing date from 2020 so you would have more of a usable life from it than the Sport. If you have a lot of kids and want to get as long as you can out of the seat, you should keep in mind this.
