👤This is our 8th car seat and 5th child. We have had several before this one. It's my favorite of all the car seats we've ever had, so I had to review it. It's seriously. The Diono is heavy and difficult to adjust to, the Britax is cumbersome, and the Evenflos are cheap and thin. None of them have covers that are easy to wash. The covers are easy to put back together. The metal parts you want to be safe and sturdy are latches, tether, etc. The adjusting pieces are large and easy to grasp. Oh! That is the other thing. I couldn't get my hand into any of the others in the way I needed to, not for adjusting, not for installing, and not for moving stuff around. I can get my paw through the appropriate areas. The harness adjustment feature is enough to give repeat business. I didn't say anything dirty while installing. Heeheehee

👤I couldn't ask for a better car seat when I bought it at Target. My daughter is 16 months old and still rear facing, she is very comfortable with the extended leg room. She was laughing and playing in the back seat of the car that was totaled in the accident, even though nothing happened. I just added it to my cart and will be buying it again for my new car.

👤I was frustrated with how hard it was to tighten the seatbelt. You need to have the strength of 10,000 people to tighten it. I figured it out. Pull the slack from around the child's hips once the chest clip and belt are buckled. The chest clip and shoulder strap covers should be lowered. The slack is above the chest clip. The strap needs to be tightened. It will be very easy. We shouldn't have to go through this, but once you know how to do it, it's not bad. It is easy to remove the cover, but it is not so easy to put it on. The seat cover is secured with small elastic loops. The loops need to be threaded through small holes to reach the hook. If you don't have a crochet hook, you will throw the seat away. With the crochet hook, I was able to thread the elastic loop through the small holes and over the fastening hooks with very little effort.

👤We don't plan ahead very well. We were worried when our kid was upgraded to a convertible car seat. We weren't sure if we would be able to find a small car that fit my wife's small car. We looked for a budget friendly car seat because we are already spending an arm and leg for diaper changing. We wanted something to keep him calm. We have three digit temperatures where we are located, which means we have something that could fit in a corolla and the passenger didn't have to move their seat to the point where they were kissing the dash. The fact that it grows with the child makes it a better investment than a budget friendly convertible seat. The fabric allows our son to breathe during the hot days. He gets a little sweat on his back but that is normal with all car seats. I know he doesn't mind the seat because he always passes out with each car ride. We were able to keep the front passenger and driver seat in the back of the car. I enjoy any little leg room I can get. This seat is perfect for your child.

Protect Plus helps to protect your little one from crashes. The 7-position headrest is easy to use and grows to fit your child. The 7-position headrest is easy to use and grows to fit your child.

👤I returned the seat because I am very happy with it. The seat has a lot of padding. I will buy a second one. If you're on the fence, the Affix felt cheap, uncomfortable, and too light. I exchanged for this one.

👤This seems like a quality product out of the box and I like the flexibility to a point. My daughter couldn't sit normally because it sat so upright. The base of the seat moved out when we tried reclining it. It didn't fit into the seat right when it was used as a booster. I had the same issue when I tried it into my Jeep. We tried to use it, so we kept it as a spare. But, ended up buying a different seat.

👤The protect plus engineering safe rating was the reason why I purchased this. What a disappointment. This seat is not safe. It is cheap. The plastic buckles are easy to use. There was no metal in it. The 80 line is no longer made by the company that originally made the Nautilus 80. I don't think this is an acceptable safe replacement. It doesn't feel safe. It feels like a cheap chair. I feel like I will break it when I put it together. How is this going to protect my child? Returning it.

👤I can't say how much I love this booster. It is amazing. I had to replace my old car seats after an accident. My children are old enough to have boosters. The back can be used as a backless seat. I like the fact that the travel seat can be removed, but I have to keep the booster in place since I can remove it for my older one. Installation was very easy. I love this booster. I got two.

👤If you don't have a large backseat, beware of the base width. It's difficult for a little one to hold onto the seat clip and even harder for an adult to hold onto it. I bought a seatbelt extender to fix that issue. The cup holders are useless. They do not stay put. The babies will fly at the smallest bumps, turn or tap of the breaks, which can cause a big mess, like the apple juice that now covers the back seat of my car. My daughter complained that the seat was uncomfortable the first time she rode in it. She has never talked about being uncomfortable in a car seat. Not a good buy, thumbs down.

👤This is basically 3 different seats in one. Seat belt trainer, booster, and backless booster. I'm almost 4 years old and I'm bigger than average. This is the last seat I'll ever have to buy her. The box it came in was in a bad condition and the seat was stuck back in, but I knew it would be the same as when I bought it from a warehouse. The seat is new. I came across this seat because of the search for the install latch. The seat is not as padded as I thought it would be, but so far no one complains. We're very happy with the seat and will probably buy another one for her little sister in a year or two.

3. Safe Traffic System Safer Travel

Safe Traffic System Safer Travel

The innovative design elements of RideSafer reduce head and knee excursion, protect organs, and relocate the shoulder belt away from the child's neck. The first way to use RideSafer is with a vehicle lap belt and top tether, the second way is to use with a top tether anchor in the vehicle. Without a tether belt is the other way. RideSafer can be used with a lap and shoulder belt. RideSafer is certified for use in motor vehicles and tested with a lap-only belt and tether to meet performance standards. The weight range for RideSafer is between 30 lbs and 3 years old. And 120 lbs. RideSafer can be used with the Delighter Booster. RideSafer can be used with the Delighter Booster.

Brand: Ridesafer

👤I have a 6 yo boy with a learning disability who had a shoulder belt in a booster seat. When I saw this vest on the group for car seats that is run by professionals and car seat tech, I knew it was a safe option. I use the tether for everyday use because it keeps him from moving around. I feel it is much safer than the booster seat for the time being, even though he tries to move out.

👤It has been great to travel internationally when we have short cab rides. It is better to sit on our laps and in taxis than it is to have a malfunctioning car seat. I wish there was a way to adjust the height of the vest/straps more, and less of a gap at the shoulders. My son is within the height and weight range and I know it is safe as long as the belt passes where it should, I have watched the videos and read the FAQ. It is nerve wracking to get it and keep it in the right place.

👤I bought this for my son. We knew we would need to use the ride-sharing service once or twice during our trip for his 6th birthday. He is 46” tall and 41 lbs. The small was ordered by us. It is well suited for room to grow. We still use a Britax at home. The travel vest was easy to use. He was put in the backseat center and he was very secure. He was very comfortable on the long car ride from DC to Baltimore. We went to the aquarium, walked around all day, and rode the train back to DC, and it was easy to keep my purse in my purse. It was never too cumbersome. This will be my go-to when we travel in the city.

👤It's a great way to travel. If you live in the city with a toddler, you should use this safety harness. It takes a few seconds to put on the harness. It takes less than a minute to put the safety belt on. Carrying bulky car seats is no longer an issue.

👤My toddler would have a car seat without checking it, if we carried it in our carry on. Even though my daughter falls in the mid range for height and weight requirements, it was too loose. I had to buy a booster. The seat belt doesn't stay in the holders. I wouldn't use this product if it weren't for the extra precautions for older kids. Returning.

👤It is a lifesaver for public transit, a car too small for three seats across, and other things. It is easy to use once you have watched the video and seen my four year old wearing it.

👤Mi hijo viaje en su ruta escolar de manera segura y cabe en una tila pequea. Gran compra.

👤It's a good idea to have this with you if you have to use a taxi or ride-sharing service.

4. TriRide Facing Highback Booster Clybourne

TriRide Facing Highback Booster Clybourne

The 3-in-1 car seat can be used in a rear-facing harness, forward-facing harness, and highback booster. A combination of the most rigorous crash tests help to protect your child in crashes. The Simply Safe Adjust Harness System allows the head and harness to adjust in one motion. The safest fit for your child is to choose the perfect height. A 6-position recline helps for a better installation. A 6-position recline helps for a better installation.

Brand: Graco

👤There are a lot of issues with this car seat. It is not a safe seat and it looks cute. My daughter's chest harness does not stay in place on almost every ride. I can re-adjust it and put it around my daughters' armpits, but it will always slide down. This is not safe. My first car seat purchase is extremely unhappy and I will not purchase their products in the future. My daughter's head hangs down completely if she falls asleep in her chair, and this is a hazard. I wish I had saved my money and time on this one. I don't have a safe car seat for my toddler and I'm out $170.

👤The seat pad was moving very fast. It slid to the point where it exposed the hard plastic and hurt my child's back. Very upset with it.

👤The baby's head is hanging down.

👤I was overwhelmed by the number of car seats. I didn't know what to do. Each one had good and bad reviews. I am so excited to put my little one in this seat for the first time, I installed this today. I used seatbelt installation while rear-facing. It feels strong. This is my first Grace and I am very impressed. It is easy to loosen the harness straps when the headrest is adjusted up and down. It comes with two cup holders and lots of padding. I would recommend it to a friend.

👤Baby on the way, still didn't use it. It can lie down all the way back. I don't need to buy a new carseat. This can last a long time. Love it. It came with everything that isn't installed yet. Like the cupholders. It came with a manual that was a plus for the first time mom. I will let you know if it was a pain or not when I install it. I love it!

👤Soy padre por primer, puedo decir, andere, andere Ami hija se ve una instruement. Amigos, lo recomiendo.

👤So far, so good, I bought a month ago. The baby did great on the trip. It must be comfortable. I needed to use my elbow to pull the straps tight because they were so easy to adjust. The 2 cup holders are really nice. I couldn't figure out how to install the book and stickers. I took a video to install on my computer.

👤I bought this for my son. It doesn't have seat toddles to anchor the seat. The seat belt doesn't reach the other side if it's on the other side. It's not safe to see the dose. We have a new car that is safe, but I don't like the seat.

5. Evenflo Chase Harnessed Booster Jameson

Evenflo Chase Harnessed Booster Jameson

The booster car seat converts from a 5-point harnessed to belt-positioning car seat to a 2-in-1 combination for children from 22-110 pounds. The chase LX booster car seat helps protect harnessed children from 22-40 pounds and belt-positioning children from 40-110 pounds. At least four years of age. The lightweight combination booster car seat comes with a system for easy installation and transfer between vehicles. Do not use abrasive cleaners. The harness can be wiped clean with mild soap and water and can be used to dry it. Integrated cup holders keep drinks close without increasing the width of the car seat, allowing multiple car seats to fit your back seat. The harness booster should be at least two years old. The child's ears are below the child restraint. The seat belt booster should be at least four years old. Brand: Evenflo

👤This seat was purchased a year ago. She seems to be comfortable with the 5pt harness. When she falls asleep on long trips the angle her neck goes makes me cringe and I wish the seat reclined a little more. We don't consider color a factor in purchase. The important part is done. The mini van my husband and toddler were in was totaled in a serious accident four days ago. My toddler is fine. There were minor injuries from her seat strap. The job was done by the seat. I will be buying again.

👤I was hoping I wouldn't have to write a review after the accident. Two weeks ago a man hit the side of my car as he darted across all 3 lanes. The car seat and my daughter were not damaged. She went to sleep after it barely moved her. This sear is definitely worth the purchase, I'm eternally grateful for it.

👤I like the safety straps and the seat is very sturdy. It was great for the price. My car was totalled in a car accident in which I and my son were a part. It was a miracle that we walked away. I was happy that he was in this seat. I hope that no one has to test the limits of this seat the way that we have, but know that the harness and padding near the head kept my baby safe.

👤My review would be 5 stars if there were pads in it. My son's shoulders are marked up so bad that the straps are adjusted correctly. I wish it wasn't rethread to adjust height.

👤The seat is great for the price. I really needed Jr fast after it came in 2 days with my prime membership. There were two in blue and pink. I have two children, a girl and a boy. We are leaving on our first family vacation in a week and thought the seat they were in before was too babyish for them. I like the dual cup holders. The reason I got this seat is because they aren't a lot of high backed booster seats with harnesses under $100. My children are small for their age, and although they seem to be big for a baby seat, I feel they still need the 5 point harness to keep them safe. They are 27 and 29 lbs. They are around 38 inches tall. They are near the border. The harness works for 22-40 lbs, and after they reach 40 lbs, it converts. You can use the harness as a regular booster with the seatbelt until you reach 112 lbs. This seat was perfect for them now and will work for a long time to come. It seems more comfortable than their old seat. They've only been in the seat twice, but I'm very happy with it.

👤We returned the carseat because we wanted to compare it to the one we had ordered. The two models are very similar, but the Maestro is more comfortable and the Chase seat is more hard plastic. The factors that bumped this seat up into our "finalists" list were safety, long use, and 5-point harness. We had to buy a new seat for her because our second child is moving up into her old seat. After reading a few discussion on this, it seems that with every seat upgrade, you loose a layer of safety. The child's skeleton isn't mature enough to handle a car accident if they are using a seatbelt booster, so they recommend a 5-point harness until 5 years old. While we preferred the Maestro carseat for us, this is still a nice seat and I can see it working well for a family who takes mostly shorter trips or for occasional use.

6. Embrace Backless Booster Disney Frozen

Embrace Backless Booster Disney Frozen

There are age and size recommendations. The Disney Frozen booster seat is for children who are 4 years old and weigh at least 40 lbs. There is an added benefit. The Disney Frozen booster car seat is certified by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety as a "best bet booster" and exceeds the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. A CUP HOLDER. Your child can enjoy their beverage or snack at any time during the ride with a cup holder. A CUP HOLDER. Your child can enjoy their beverage or snack at any time during the ride with a cup holder.

Brand: Kidsembrace

👤There is no harness to the seat. There was nothing to clip in. No installing it at all.

👤Very cute. It feels durable. The light colors get a bit dirty. The cup holder sticks out. We don't use it. It should come with a built in cup holder that folds out and in, but this one hangs on the side.

👤I thought it was bigger but it was not. It's great with my car seats. My child loves the cup holder. She doesn't mind that it is uncomfortable. She can now see out the window with her seat belt off.

👤My daughter is big enough to fit in a booster seat. I have not installed it yet, but it seems durable. This was perfect because she loves Frozen. I might have to buy one for my boyfriend.

👤My five year old granddaughter absolutely loves Frozen so it was a home run. The seat is great for the older kids, just use the seat belt, and it's very easy to strap them in. It was a good choice.

👤I gusto mucho es comodo, ha dicho aunque me hubiera, en forma de gaveta seria.

👤These are good for my kids. The seatbelt clip keeps the shoulder strap off of their neck, and it's very comfortable.

👤I bought this to keep in my car for my granddaughter. It's your standard booster, but it's great!

7. Graco Affix Highback Booster Atomic

Graco Affix Highback Booster Atomic

The weight minimum for a booster car seat has been increased from 30 to 40 pounds to make it safer to transport a big kid. The booster is secured to the vehicle seat with a one-hand front-adjustlatch system. A secure connection keeps the booster seat stable. Do not bleach. A multi-layer headrest for your child. Even as your child grows, you will have full coverage. Energy-Absorbing foam is used for impact management. Your child is secured on all of your journeys.

Brand: Graco

👤My daughter has been using this seat for at least 2 years. We were in an accident. The impact was on the side of the car. Her head and body were stable thanks to this seat. I have to replace her last seat since the crash was not minor, so I will purchase this seat again.

👤I have bought four of these seats. I was involved in a car accident in which I slammed into two other cars. My four year old was restrained in a booster seat. The car seat did what it was designed to do and my child walked away with no injuries. The seat gets two thumbs up from my family.

👤The carseat is easy to install, but it doesn't last very long because of the latches and the fact that my child is buckled in. This is only used as our secondary carseat, and the back part doesn't stay put. It immediately falls back down when we adjust it upward. At this point, it's a safety hazard. We have tried contacting Graco customer service, but their service is very slow. It took three weeks for an initial response after we tried e-mailing. We called in the meantime. They initially wanted our receipt after sending us an e-mail with a claim number. We immediately sent it back. They took two weeks to respond. We e-mailed back within the day after they requested a video of the defect. We have not received a reply for three weeks. Avoid this product and save yourself money. We have two other Graco carseats that we love, but this booster seat is not one of them.

👤It works in my Honda Odyssey's captain chair. The addition of the latch is an awesome addition, it eliminates the sliding on my leather seats and the need to Buckle it when not in use. The belt guide allows the belt to glide through without getting stuck and I returned the booster I bought because I found another one that did the same thing. My 6 year old loves the red color and says it is comfy. The features this seat has are worth the price. It is great for a seat under $50 and adjusts up to 20 inches. It should last any child.

👤My extra tall 5 year old daughter feels comfortable in this carseat, it is easy to install, and it is easier to use on my Nissan Altima with the latch system. I used a 3 in 1 that was really good, secure, and well padded, but too bulky for a sedan, and I had to upgrade from a Safety 1st grow and go. She has a Safety 1st Alpha Elite 65 as her second carseat and it matches my car color and looks really good. The arm rest should be adjusted. It's ok for the price. I hope I don't have to buy another carseat as it will convert to a booster seat.

👤There were no issues with the installation of the ford f 150. I ordered a nice seat for my car. The plastic cup under the booster seat is still used by many people who didn't read the set up directions. Come on. It's one of the steps in getting the seat set up.

8. UPPAbaby ALTA Booster Seat 1319 ALT US MOR

UPPAbaby ALTA Booster Seat 1319 ALT US MOR

The shoulder belt guide, lower belt guide, and lap belt positioner are integrated. There are seven positions of active support. The side impactpods are for advanced protection. The cup holder can be attached to the seat. The booster should be properly positioned in the vehicle. The booster should be properly positioned in the vehicle.

Brand: Uppababy

👤This was the booster we ended up with. The Clek booster, Maxi Cosi, was over priced. Diono was too wide for three across. It was difficult to close the door in my car because of the top corners of the head rest. The shoulder area is narrow. The seat has a crazy hard cushion, but the height of the back of the seat was not good. The seat was under my son's thigh and mid back. My son did not like it. It is very simple, sleek and stylish, but maybe not the most comfortable for my son. My son asked me to send the Clek back after we rode it. My son was a fan of the Maxi Cosi. The cushion was very comfortable but he was restricted in his arm movements because of the narrow shoulder width. The seat is not worth mentioning. What a piece of garbage! It was like covering a few spots of leather with hard plastic. You might think that being expensive and a car with good safety features will create an innovative and safe seat. It was hard, uncomfortable, useless and over $400 for a piece of garbage. The seats were short in one or more areas. My 7 year old loves this seat. The cushion is comfortable and easy to clean, it is easy to use the rigid latch. There were no complaints. He has good arm and leg space. I'm happy to have found a good booster seat, without any complaints from my passengers.

👤I'm returning the two seats that I bought because they're too wide at their base and it's hard to seatbelt the kids in my Volvo XC90, even though they find them comfortable. I'm surprised the internet hasn't identified this design defect.

👤I've found the best booster seat. I've been a fan of the Zipfit and bought their booster. It felt flimsy and surprised me. We are going to try it out. If your child is husky, it would be great. It will fit older kids. The seatbelt doesn't get tangled up in it, which is the only booster I've found. It's the easiest booster for your child to use. The side impact support is strong. My child is comfortable in it. It should be recommended 100%.

👤I ordered a Britax and had to return it, but we are thrilled with this one! Positives- bottom seat belt guide, wide side wings, extra impact Pod, entire back moves up with a headrest, zip seat cover, and no crevices to collect crumbs... The seat is the easiest I have ever installed. The child loves it. I don't know how to remove back cover and cup holder, but I didn't spend a lot of time on those things because they weren't as important to me. I would buy it again and recommend it a million times for its safety features.

👤The belt path is visible to show where seat belts should be. The crotch strap makes sure kids stay in place in an accident. The comfort is what kids like. Cup holders are easy to remove. The bottom seat cover needs to be washed. We were so pleased that we bought two more.

9. Graco Backless TurboBooster Seat Galaxy

Brand: Graco

👤The boys were in booster seats when we were in the accident. I'm sure the fact we were in a solid vehicle helped the seats withstood impact, no cracks and the boys had no major injuries.

👤I was initially turned off by the fact that they don't have compatible straps to hold them in the seats. I was wrong to think they would be annoying. It's nice to be able to take them in/out easily when I want to let adults ride in those spots. My kids told me that these are more comfortable than the ones in my mom's car. The pop in/out cupholders on both sides are great, I can pop out the "inboard" side and the kids don't have to climb over them to get out.

👤I like this booster car seat, but I am not happy with the covering that is being used. I used the same booster car seat for my grandson 10 years ago. The seat cover material is starting to wear thin and will probably need to be replaced in a month or two. Very disappointed.

👤Arm rests not included in shipment, seat covering that was torn in several areas, and appeared used. Returning quickly! It was disappointing to say the least.

👤The seat is on the money. My little guy is ready for a booster and he told his family that he no longer needed the regular car seat. We needed a seat for the other car so we bought this seat for the second time. He now uses the booster and we added a seat belt adjustment for him. He feels like he's in a big guy seat. The booster seat is great. The Pack of 2 Child Seat Belt Adjuster, Car Safety Cover Adjuster Pad Harness, and Comfortable Protection for Adult Children are part of the HSELL®.

👤These are my favorite booster seats. I have found them to be worth it, even though they are a little more expensive than other brands. The brands flip when the kids get in and out. The style stays in place when the kids get out of the car. Cup holders are more than just for cups, they are also convenient. The kids drink in one side and eat in the other. The covers are easy to remove and clean. I bought these for my grandma's car since I like the ones we have. The car seats and grandma love them.

👤The booster seat is easy to use. We went from using a full car seat to a booster seat. Our niece doesn't ride with us often. It's nice to be able to move her seat between my car and my husband's. Before it was a full workout, it was just to move the car seat. I was exhausted by the time I moved the seat from my SUV to the two door car and it was no big deal for a mom who was used to doing it all the time. The booster is a game-changer. It is perfect for our niece who is six years old. It was worth the price. I'm glad I got this. If you're looking for a booster seat to transition from a large car seat, this is the one for you. It was difficult to move between vehicles because we had one of those car seats that was supposed to last and act as a booster. Have not used on a long road trip.

10. Chicco KidFit Plus Positioning Booster

Chicco KidFit Plus Positioning Booster

A rigid shell and foam offer superior head and torso protection. An innovative quick-release LATCH system allows for fast and easy one-hand removal from the vehicle LATCH system, while the SuperCinch one-pull tightener is designed to keep the seat in place. The quilted seat and backrest cushions have zip off for easy washing. The seat has 3 layers of foam to give it the best fit and comfort. There is a dishwasher safe, CupFolders and a bonus kid console. There is a dishwasher safe, CupFolders and a bonus kid console.

Brand: Chicco

👤We needed two new boosters, one for my car and one for my husband, so I bought this booster seat and the Britax. We decided to get both and return the one we didn't think was as safe. The two booster seats are very similar. The one zip removal of the cover and the simple pulling on the strap in the front of the base are the main differences between the two. My husband decided to use the Chicco because his latch is a bit further down in his seat than mine. The Britax is larger in the upper back support than in the base. My son said that he was comfortable in both. I posted a picture of the two of them in my car to see how they compare. Hopefully it holds up.

👤We bought this for our young child. He is not quite 40 lbs. He likes the double cup holder because it doesn't sit as high up as our old booster seat, and he likes that. He has more leg room behind our seat because it is a sleeker more upright design. I bought 3 more in different colors for each vehicle he travels in because I liked this one so much. Great purchase. Highly recommended. It was easy to install in our vehicles. It's easy to install in his grandparents' cars. He uses the regular seat belt across his lap and shoulder but it doesn't rub against his neck because of the orange loop attached to the booster seat. We are all happy we went with the Chicco.

👤I wish I had bought another Evenflo for my wife's car because this seat seems more comfortable than the one my son uses. The seat belt doesn't want to stay in the loop guide. It has to be reinstalled for almost every ride because it slips out very easily. I don't have to do that with Evenflo. I think the seat belt is guided out of the loop because of how the plastic loop extends downward. Maybe there is an alternate way to fix it. I was hoping that the head rest would support my son when he falls asleep. It is not better than the Evenflo in that regard. The seat belt issue makes this booster less safe than other car seats.

👤I needed to buy a car seat for my granddaughter. We needed an easy in-and-out seat for her because she doesn't have bussing at her school. Her carseat is the normal one. She can't unbuckle herself for school drop off. She needs to be able to do this because you don't want to hold up the car line at school. I wanted to stick with a brand that has served us well, is highly rated for safety, and has a quality product. The Kid Fit is easy to assemble. She went to install it in my car after she sat in it to set the correct size. This seat doesn't work in my car. The seat back of the car seat is not big enough to fit against the automobile seat. The rear headrest can't be removed, so I thought it might work if I removed it. There is a picture with my hand between the back of the Key Fit and the actual car seat. You can see how large the gap is. I put her in the seat with the shoulder strap and pulled her forward on the back of the seat. It was frightening how far the seat would tilt forward even with the sealtbelt on. The back of the KidFit should fit in the auto seat according to the owners manual. This seat would not work for us. This is not the place to take a risk. I've done more research on my car and booster seats. I ordered a seat with a latch system to hold it in place when not in use. Will do a follow up review after that seat is received. I wish it would have worked. Will continue to use the MyFit which is installed in a GMC Acadia for everything but school drop off and pick up. She needs a 5-point harness system until she reaches the 65 lbs. limit.

The backless booster for older children is created by the reclined backrest. The backless booster for older children is created by the reclined backrest.

Brand: Chicco

👤The last straw was when the dealership had to cut out a car seat that I couldn't get the belt loose on, after having multiple car seats that were a pain to get in and out. I found this after that. This is so easy to take out. I love this seat. This is something to buy.

👤I bought a seat at Walmart that was more expensive than the current one. It had an option for harness, but we didn't really need it. The seat was terrible, there was a piece of styrofoam in the headrest that rattled all the time. It was not designed to come out as it is energy absorbing. It sounded like I bought a Styrofoam cooler. I ordered this one for my wife's car because I thought we liked his current seat. It is very lightweight and can be installed in less than 2 minutes. My son liked it. My truck has rear inflatable seats belts, so I didn't order one for it. I reached out to Chicco because I saw conflicting information on the internet. The lady in customer service didn't know, so she would call me. I thought I would never hear anything. On Friday, I called at close to 4pm. She told me that my phone was compatible with the seat belt. The second one was installed by me. Don't buy a more expensive brand at Walmart.

👤It is easy to put together and install. The booster can be held in place with the latch system. Light weight makes it easy for a child to Buckle. The seats are too wide in the shoulder area. If you have a small space, the booster will not fit on the seat and the other passengers will not have much room. I would buy this again.

👤The belt positioning is great. The padding on the seat is very nice. It was easy to use. There are clips that are useful. The kid likes that side pillows. The seat is not deep enough. The seat in our van is almost 4 inches beyond the front of the booster. I fear my tall child will be uncomfortable in this seat because it is rated for taller kids.

👤Our son is 9 months old and is on a 99 percentile for his age, so we use to move on in the gear a bit earlier. He feels like a big boy, easy to seat by himself, and seems safe. We put him in the middle back seat of the Santa Fe sport to make room for other guests. The last one was large. I would recommend this product.

👤We have two seats for our kids. They have cup holders for all of their stuff. They are easy to put in your seats, and the belt adjustment on the sides helps place the belt where it is supposed to be. A high quality booster.

👤I bought this seat after my attempt to get my kid a spiderman booster seat failed. The spiderman seat looked cool, but it lacked all the things I love in a Chicco seat. The seat is easy to assemble. The latch system gives it extra stability to prevent it from hitting the car when there is no child in it. The padding on the back is thin, but the headrest padding and seat padding are nice. If your child is short and wide, it may not hold up through age 9. It doesn't affect me, as my kids are walking stick figures, but something to consider if your kids are on the bigger side. If you need to cram in multiple seats in a smaller car, this narrow design is ideal.
