There are three strollers in 1: Infant Car Seat Carrier, Infant Bassinet, and Toddler Stroller. As a baby grows, the stroller seat can face parent or the world. The toddler seat can be used as a true pram in bassinet mode. The infant car seat in the SnugRide 35 lite DLX is rear-facing for infants from 4 to 35 lbs for an easy transition from car to stroller. One-hand stroller folds for easy storage. One-hand stroller folds for easy storage.
👤The baby is not due for a few months. I noticed a few reviews that said they didn't get the two small pins that are for the back wheels. I thought it was the same thing, but after checking the bag again, they were in it just small. The buttons on the car seat are on the front, and I wish they were on the back, it makes it difficult to put the handle down. But could be me. The canopy on the stroller and car seat makes it easy to change into a bassinet.
👤This combo is amazing. I read some reviews and was nervous when I saw that someone said the carseat fell out of the stroller because it wasn't good enough. The cottering pins were difficult to put in the back wheels, but I got them after 10 minutes of messing with it. When people said they were small, I was expecting a lot smaller. They are about half an inch in length and about the thickness of a wood pencil. Even though I was bending the pins and trying to figure out how to put it in, I never lost its shape or got damaged even though I was rough with the pins. The instructions are very clear and easy to understand. The carseat was easy to understand. I didn't read the instructions to adjust the harness. This is my first child and I have never adjusted a carseat or put together a stroller. I messed with the stroller for a second and there are a lot of little things you can do to improve your stroller learning experience. The carseat clipped the stroller. I put the carseat facing me as if I was pushing the stroller because I left the stroller in the toddler position. I moved the carseat around to make sure it would fit. I was rough with the stroller to make sure the car seat wouldn't fall out, but nothing happened. It was solid. It is easy to store away. The wheels are so smooth that I haven't tried outside yet. I think this combo is very good. It is very cute and I love how the canopy covers the sun from the baby's eyes. If that's true, I feel like it's more private. I would probably pick the same stroller and carseat combo again. You won't be disappointed.
👤This stroller is the most difficult stroller ever invented. I bought it because it is very beautiful. It is easy to fold up and change from carriage to stroller, but it fails when it comes to being functional. I was able to catch my daughter because the stroller clicked into the car seat. The car seat fell out as we walked. Do not buy this if you don't have a lot of time to adjust this thing or if you are a parent that is on the go.
👤Having a baby sleeping in a bassinet was a great life saver for us. We didn't want the baby to sleep in the car seat for a long period of time while the parents were shopping. The transformation option from bassinet to big boy/girl is amazing. It is easy to attach a car seat to a stroller. The compartment under the stroller is perfect. Can fit a backpack diaper bag. The folding of the stroller frame is easy. Smooth sailing and easy to push and maneuver. The 3-in-1 takes up a lot of car space because it can be wide, and it can be difficult to get through narrow places at the stores. The bassinet and stroller frame should be in the trunk of the car, and the car seat should be used. It takes up all the space in the Honda Civic. The baby has more to do, but we have already used all three functions and mom and dad love the stroller.
The FastAction Fold stroller has a 25% smaller fold than the current one. The FastAction one-second, one-hand fold is the ultimate in convenience for parents on the go. The child's tray can be folded for a more compact fold. Spot or wipe clean is care and cleaning. The infant car seat and stroller seat are attached to the infant car seat. There is a tray with two cup holders and storage.
👤I think 4 strollers with matching car seats are the best I've tried. Even traveled to the Philippines with it and still uses it as of Feb 2020. It is very safe and high quality and we always bring it with us when we travel in a car without a base. Mostly past my expactations! Happy shopping!
👤I love this stroller and car seat for my first child. It is light weight and easy to push. It is easy to attach and detach the car seat. The instructions are clear.
👤I wish it had better support for newborns head because it didn't get 5 starts. I have seen car seats that have a support for the baby's head. He doesn't like his head flinging from side to side in car rides, but it's a great buy.
👤This would be my 4th stroller. I was looking for a stroller that was light, easy to fold, smooth to maneuver, and had a decent price. This one is very close to perfect. The stroller in General was acceptable until I noticed that there was no "pick-a-boo" window and the back panel was not air-tight. I returned this one.
👤I like the stroller. It folds quickly. I don't like the carseat. The cover on the seat is plastic and will make my July baby very hot and uncomfortable. The sunshade on the carseat and stroller doesn't fit nicely to block out the sun.
👤I live in an apartment building and use this stroller a lot. It is easy to fold with one hand. The car seat and stroller were light and easy to maneuver after a c-section. I bought mom hooks to cart bags and they work great. The stroller system is an amazing price and quality and I would recommend it to anyone. Other stroller systems may have the name that is in or a high price that makes it seem like quality but Graco products help my budget and keep my baby safe.
👤The canopy on the car seat is large enough to cover most of the baby, and it is easy to unfold and pull back up, even though I was in the stroller. The car seat and base are not only difficult to take out of the car, but also difficult to put my baby in. I think about returning it because of that.
👤I had to return it because I can't move one arm. I could open it and handle it with one hand. I try it a few times and can't figure it out without getting stressed.
It was designed to help protect your rear facing child from 5-40 pounds. Simply Safe Harness System adjusts the harness and headrest height with one easy motion. A combination of the most rigorous crash tests that helps to protect your child in frontal, side, rear, and rollover crashes; additional testing based on the New Car Assessment Program and for extreme car interior temperatures is what the Protect Plus engineered is. The headrest is easy to adjust using one hand. Installation in the rear-facing position using LATCH and an easy to read level indicator was painless. Installation in the rear-facing position using LATCH and an easy to read level indicator was painless.
👤I wish I could give this seat a 3.5 star rating, but that option doesn't exist, so I went up to a four instead of a three. This car seat has been with us since February of 2016 It's been about 8 months since I wrote this, and it's been one year. When we purchased this car seat for my son, he was just one year old. He is an average sized child. We were in a passenger side impact car accident on the freeway last week and need to replace this car seat because my son was in it when it was side swiped. As I was thinking about what I would like in the next car seat, I thought about some things I don't like about this car seat, as well as some things I like. I thought it would be helpful for people to see my list of pros and cons after using the Condender 65 for over a year and a half. I kept my son safe in the car accident. The five point harness system was still installed tightly and there were no visible signs of damage. It's really affordable. It was cheap, but not cheap quality-wise. I didn't want to spend $300 on a Britax car seat if I could get away with it. I never considered the cup holder when buying a car seat because my son was barely a year old, but it has been great for holding toys, drinks, and snacks. It's easy to clean. The Britax and Chicco convertible models don't have cup holders built in which is a big problem for me. The ones that clip on seem flimsy and I've read a lot of mixed reviews that make those kinds of cupholders seem more an "afterthought" and don't really feel like a part of the seat. My son knows that he would pull them off and throw them on the floor. I read a review where a mom said her child did this for $30 to sit on the floor of their car. It's fairly light without feeling flimsy. It is 15.2 lbs, which sounds right to me. My niece has a Britax Pioneer car seat that is 26 lbs. The "Simply Safe Adjust" harness system at the top of the car seat is very convenient. It's nice to be able to press a button and pull it as your child grows, instead of having to re-thread the straps. It's easy to rethread the buckle. There is no "recline" button, but this could be a pro or con. If you are using the seat for forward or rear facing, you just flip the little wedge at the base of the seat. I never had an issue with it. We used it for both forward and rear facing. The little ball that indicates proper positioning was in the perfect place each time, without any adjustments or boosting in my Honda Pilot. Black straps! They hide the stains and clean them easily. All of the cons are personal preference and convenience issues. I have no doubt that this car seat is safe. It is difficult to move this seat from one car to another. The cheaper 'hook' style of straps are the ones that are used in cars, not the nicer ones that have a button like a seatbelt. They're a problem to get out of. It's a pain and a half to get in and out of my parents' BMW 5 series and my husband's Honda Civic, so I've transferred this from my Honda Pilot to my husband's Honda Civic. I end up sweaty and swearing. It is not helpful that the strap you use to adjust the seat is only on one side, so you have to climb into your vehicle or mess with it. We had to change it twice. When it came out of the box, my son was in the back of the car, and the adjuster was on the left side of the seat. It's more convenient to have the strap on the side of the door. You have to thread the belt through the seat because you can't just pull it out. When my son switched to forward facing, we had to adjust it again. These are the little things that you don't want to waste time on as a parent. If you could adjust the slack/tightness from both sides, it would be much more convenient. The little bar clip with a button that allows you to adjust the latch belt on the one side is very frustrating to use. It does nothing when you press it half the time. It is supposed to let go of its grip on the belt so you can get slack in the belt to remove the latch from the car or tighten it. My friend's car seat has an issue with the latch button. I am not a bad person, but I have lost patience trying and sometimes I have to ask my husband to mess with it. Stains. I have always been too lazy to take the entire cover off and wash it, even though I was positive I could remove the seat after the accident, because I didn't think I could do it. I have never been able to get the stains out of the seat insert with bleach. I wish they were easier to clean because it looks filthy, unfortunately, with a toddler it's unavoidable. I couldn't get the stains out of this seat, so I gave up. We had a seat in Glacier. The gray is shown in a photo. If you remove the lighter gray seat pad, the stains won't show. The little pad has always been left in for comfort. My friend with the same car seat has said that they washed the seat after their daughter had an accident and it took quite some time to dry. She didn't think the fabric would hold up to multiple machine washings. The five point harness that goes over the child is very difficult to use. I had a lot of issues with them not adjusting equally, which is unsafe. The straps seem prone to twisting and making the buckle backwards. The pull strap at the base of the seat can be difficult to pull tight enough. I felt like I would be pulling and yanking and it wouldn't be tight enough, so it drove me crazy. There is no recline handle to adjust the seat's incline. This could be considered a pro or con depending on how you look at it. The most important thing about the Contender 65 is that it kept my son safe in an accident, even though I didn't care for it much. We decided on the 4Ever car seat from Graco because I have faith in them. It fixes most of the "cons" on this list and has all of the features I loved about the Contender 65. I paid $238 for it on Amazon, but the price has fluctuated, and I've seen it as low as $199 on Amazon.
The Fast Action Fold Sport Click Connect Travel System has a stay-in-car base. One-second fold is the ultimate in convenience for moms on the go. The frame is lightweight and sturdy. A travel system stroller holds a child up to 50 pounds. The infant car seat has a minimum head height of at least 1 inch below the top of the seat. A multi-position reclining seat for a baby. Never use bleach. A multi-position reclining seat for a baby. Never use bleach.
👤I wish I'd known a few things before I got this. My daughter is old enough to ride in a stroller without a car seat. The stroller seat is not being used and it is not being stored when not used. 1. It doesn't sit up enough. I feel like she is laying down a lot. I'm in the market for another stroller because I'm displeased with this feature. The seat can be laid down to sit up with the help of a string and a deal. The lay down part doesn't move when you place it. 2. It doesn't stay in place easily when it's closed. It slides open. I would have searched around more for the stroller, but I love the car seat. I like my car seat, base, and how easy it is to connect to a stroller. The stroller has more space in the bottom. I like how easy it is to pull close with one hand. I don't like things that I wouldn't know until I use more, and my child is sitting in the stroller. I love this travel system, except for the stroller.
👤The stroller is hard to fold and unfold, and the cup holder in the front is not folding, so it can get caught in the trunk and break, so I am afraid that my daughter is old enough to ride in the stroller itself. The seat can be laid down to sit up with the help of a string and a deal. The problem is that it doesn't sit up enough, so it doesn't work. I feel like she is always laying down. She has to use her belly muscles to hold herself up and hang onto the cup holder portion in order to sit up. I believe that this feature knocks a star off, because I did it. I wouldn't say a full star. I would have searched around more for the stroller, but I love the car seat.
👤Before buying a stroller for the first time, we read a lot of reviews. If you are not on a clean smooth sidewalk, the stroller ride is rough. The handle of the stroller is not adjusted for taller people. I am 6'1 feet tall and have to hunch forward to use this stroller. The small mesh in the stroller that is to be used to view your baby as it is covered in the stroller is terrible and there is no way to close it. If it is windy, you can either get closed shut or open. Considering the price, you would think it would be a little more flexible, but it isn't. I don't recommend this stroller due to the fact that it's not easy to adjust the three wheels and it's a rougher ride than some of the other strollers I've checked out.
👤I received a system for my baby shower. We settled on this for the price point after a lot of back and forth. I am very happy with the decision I have made after using it for 2 months. My baby is in a car seat. It is easy to attach and detach from the stroller and car seat base. It is definitely a bulkier stroller. It takes up a lot of space in the trunk of my car. On a day to day basis, the tray piece to the stroller takes up most of my trunk space. The stroller is the only concern I have. The wheels are so wide that they can extend up to 5 inches on each side. Travel in stores and tight places is more difficult because of this.
The 5-point harness and theadjustable handlebar act as an anti-rebound bar inside the car, as well as being the highest safety & quality standards, TUV and FAA aircraft approved for travel, 2 years manufacturer's warranty. The stretch material canopy and shoulder pads are made of Baby Safe Materials and Breathable Textiles. The Doona infant car seat, Doona bamboo infant insert, Doona bamboo head support, and Doona vehicle seat protector are included in the set. Babies between 4 lbs. and important size and usage information. To 35 lbs. And max. The height is 32 inches. The Doona Infant Car Seat is only in the back. Doona is small and lightweight. The car seat weighs only 16 lbs. The base weighs in at over 10 lbs. Doona is small and lightweight. The car seat weighs only 16 lbs. The base weighs in at over 10 lbs.
👤This is the best and most satisfying purchase I have ever made in Amazon. We were able to leave the hospital with the baby the next day, because it arrived just the day after it was born. It was amazing to learn how to use it. We walked from the hospital to our home instead of using a car. Our baby has always felt comfortable when we seat him in the Doona, and it has been since then that we have been using it. It has served its purpose for every use we have thought of for it. Taking the baby to the restaurant for lunch and dinner is one of the use cases we have successfully checked. It is small enough to avoid people getting in close proximity to its wheels. The baby should be taken on a ferry. It worked well in the car seat. The baby really likes traveling since his first day out, thanks to the Doona. All of the drivers were impressed with how easy it was for us to get the baby in and out of the car, converting from stroller to car seat and back to stroller in an easy operation. They don't need to get off the car to open the trunk or help with the stroller because it's a car seat. It has made our life out of home a lot easier. Take the baby to the beach with a car seat that you can convert to a car seat with the handle and then pop it out when you hit a palm tree. We put a blanket over the Doona because the shade helps keep the baby comfortable but we go extra cautious. There is no mosquitoes or too much sun or wind. There is an official sunshade. We didn't want to wait for shipping times so we went the cheap way. The baby is going to the movies. Yes! Babies like the movie even if it is three hours long. We put the Doona in a car seat. If the baby is showing signs of wet diaper, you can change it during the movie to avoid crying. You can enjoy your movie date again if you seat close to the aisles or next to the handicapped seats. Since we found out we can do things we like, having done this helped us. The baby is on a plane. We had an international flight at week 5 and we felt like we were in a picture studio at the airport. It was easy to get to crowded places. There are two ways to travel with it. If you take the baby to the gate, the airline will take care of it and put it with the cargo and you can use it through customs and luggage pick up without having to hold it. And... 2. The Doona is certified for air travel so you can take it on board with your baby. We saved money by choosing option 1 and using baby formula. The stroller/seat was the easiest to use, and the airline staff said that too. There were other babies on both flights and they weren't having as good a time as we were. It's easy to take the car seat through the security check. It goes through the X-ray machine in a car seat. The right size for that. Taking the baby to doctor's appointments is a good idea because waiting rooms can get crowded and make other people uncomfortable. The Doona has a mode that I have never seen in reviews or elsewhere: just pull the wheels and leave it in the floor. It works like a rocking chair. Try it when you get yours and you will be amazed at how rocking chair mode works. I have never seen so many people with the same name. Getting in and out of elevators with one hand will take less space than if you use two hands. It is easy to do. It is so small and flexible that you can take it to the outlets and feel like a Kodak picture spot/opportunity. In the first two months, nothing has changed and we are happy we went the Doona way. The baby didn't notice the change after we removed the newborn insert. Thank you Doona, we have been happy parents. Our baby is 2.5 years old and we miss the Doona. We used it for 15 months and then we missed it again. It made another happy family after us. We would buy it if there was a similar one for toddlers. I still think it was the best purchase ever.
The 3-in-1 car seat can be used in a rear-facing harness, forward-facing harness, and highback booster. The Anti-Rebound Bar provides an additional layer of rear-facing safety by limiting rotation of the seat and your child in the event of an impact. Your child can safely ride rear-facing longer with the Extend2fit 4-position panel. Your child can ride rear-facing for up to 50 lbs. A combination of the most rigorous crash tests helps to protect your little one in crashes. A combination of the most rigorous crash tests helps to protect your little one in crashes.
👤A great looking car seat. Installation is easy if you have the rebound bar. I need to use my knee to put the thigh in because I am not the strongest person. The blue 'Safety First' car seat is in my pictures, no matter how much effort I put, the sit is never thigh enough and always moves side to side, so it's fairly easy. The installation of the Gracco sit is not as easy as it was in the past, but it does require some work to install. The rebound bar and extension for the legs are great additions for safety and comfort. If you don't have a big car, you won't be able to use the extension panel for the legs, and the front sit passenger won't be able to use it. The front seat cannot be touched when the car seat is installed rear facing. I put the sit in my Toyota Highlander 2015, and it is very close to the dash, thanks to the 5" panel extension. I'm only 5 feet tall, so I can sit there, but a bigger person won't fit. I moved the sit close to the dash in a Toyota corolla 2020, but it didn't fit in the rear facing car. While considering this seat, keep that in mind. The fit was another thing I loved about this sit. It's a sit that can be used for the whole time a kid needs a car seat. The fit for newborns is excellent, it reclines all the way, keeping a baby with no body coordination well positioned, and the head doesn't move to the sides or hangs. The Safety First brand sit is very tall for older kids. I have a 7 year old who is barely fitting in the Safety First seat and uses a 5 point harness. When the child is forward facing the belts need to be above the shoulder, and when the baby is rear facing the belts need to be bellow the shoulder, as per the manual. You will be able to use the harness with older kids with this sit. My kid is 50 years old and has enough space to grow and use the 5 point harness in the Gracco Sit, but she is not able to use the Safety First sit because she is not under the weight limit. I have used several car seats for my children and take their safety very seriously. I think this is a good car seat for this price point. I don't think you will be able to fit 3 car seats using this one, it is very wide. When the car seat is in the smallest setting, the harness is a little thigh to pull. It's kind of annoying that the cup holders are easy to detach from. It has a compartment to store the harness when the sit is used as a tall back booster and I find it very convenient. The sit is very easy to use for a newborn, a toddler, or a 7 year old, and it's designed for different stages of development, just pull the recliner button, pull the head up or down, and it's very easy to use.
The lightweight stroller is perfect for adventures on the go. The infant car seat has a rear-facing position from 4 to 32 lbs. Parent's tray with cup holders keeps your essentials close. A child has a belly bar with a cup holder. The stroller folds down into a compact fold for on-the-go convenience. The stroller folds down into a compact fold for on-the-go convenience.
👤I usually don't write reviews, but I am very happy with this car seat/stroller combo. I have back issues that make finding something lightweight important to me. The product did not fail to impress. The car seat is assembled and changing straps is easy. It took just a few minutes for the stroller to pop on the tires. The stroller is easy to maneuver.
👤For a new born, we need to buy neck support on top of the travel system as it doesn't come with a neck support on its own. The seat is comfortable. The stroller has enough space to hold baby stuff.
👤It is very light. It's easy to do in Cary.
👤The set up for the stroller was very easy, and the product is light and perfect for traveling. The instructions were easy to understand. We did everything in fifteen minutes or less. We are going to take our baby home.
👤This would be a perfect solution for our needs. The base is easy to install, the car seat is convenient, and the stroller is light and folds/unfolds with one hand, so you don't need to put your little one down to deal with this. The canapé broke on the first day. You can lower it just fine, but to lift it when the stroller has a car seat in it, the plastic hinges bend out of shape and the canape won't close. The two that we bought have the same defect. Very disappointing.
👤The stroller folds at the handles, making it 888-282-0465. I was happy to see that graco made a light weight version. This is a good value for money. I can't wait to use the set with baby #3.
👤This stroller and car seat is very cute. Light weight. It is easy for me to put in the car and take down. The storage basket is small, but it's not bad. Overall, would recommend.
👤I gave three stars. I give it 2 1/2 for the stroller. The car seat felt unsafe. It's wobbly in the car. It was in as tight as possible. The stroller is easy to use. It folds in less than 2 seconds. I wouldn't recommend the car seat for anything other than being used in a stroller. The stoller is compatible with any click connect car seat.
Two seats are in a booster seat. The booster seat converts from a forward-facing harness to a highback belt-positioning seat. The Simply Safe Adjust Harness System allows the head and harness to adjust in one motion. In belt-positioning booster mode, the integrated harness storage compartment stores unused harness straps. Your child's headrest grows with you. There are two recline positions and 10 head rest positions in a car seat. Keep your child's drink close with integrated, dual cup holders. The belt guides help position the seat belt.
👤One of the most important products for toddlers is a car seat. Consumer Reports recently finished testing on toddler-boosters and said parts of five popular toddler-booster car seats broke. What they found and what parents can do about it are included in this. Toddler-booster seats are forward facing and can be used initially with a five point harness and then they can be used as a booster with the car's own seat belts. All seats must meet federal safety crash test requirements in order to be sold, but Consumer Reports' crash evaluations are more rigorous. The Britax Frontier ClickTight, Britax Pioneer, Cosco Finale, Graco Atlas 65, and the Harmony Defender 360 booster seats were found to break when tested with dummies whose weight is close to the seat's limits. "If the harness or top tether breaks, it can compromise the seats' ability to protect the child in a subsequent crash event," said Consumer Reports. It may allow the child to move further forward, if the harness disengages completely, the seat is no longer restraining the child. There were no injuries related to the structural failures revealed in Consumer Reports crash tests. What should you do if you own one of these seats? CR says that you should not stop using the seat if you don't have a replacement. A basic margin of safety is provided by any car seat, and it is better than no seat at all. If your child is less than 40 pounds, you can use this seat with the five-point harness. If your child weighs more than 40 pounds, you should use the seats in booster mode. CR says you should replace your car seat if it's too small for it to fit the booster and vehicle seat belts correctly. Britax, Cosco, Graco, and Harmony all stated that their seats meet federal standards and that CR's testing differed from the government's. Consumer Reports says that the best way to replace a child's car seat is with a new one.
👤The part that protects his brain broke and fell off. When I went to clean the pads, I found out. Take the pads off if you have one. I have four of these. I want to replace them all.
👤Absolutely love it! I don't need a car seat anymore. I think it's the total package. My car looks great again, and I'm confident that my son is safe. The last car seat was green and covered in stains within a month. There are a few features that I like. There will never be a stain that I can't remove. My son falls asleep in the car a lot, so no more bobbing head. My son's head is kept straight while he sleeps. My son can't escape the easy buckle. TheRemovable cover is easy to keep clean. There are more features, but the ones listed were most important to me.
👤I ordered two car seats at the same time and they both arrived a year ago. They only have 6 years left. If you are buying a new product, it should be within a month or two of the manufacture date. If you have a smaller SUV that allows for reclining back seats, you can recline the seats in my ford f350. The recline option makes it easier for the kids to sleep. The shoulder heigh adjustment is very easy to do. It's a big plus that cheaper options make you rethread. The seat is light and made of plastic which the higher end GRACO's have a steel core. The push to click seat belt style found on higher end car seats is not the same as the simple metal clasps under the seat. The materials are plastic and the fabric is not the most durable, but I'm very happy with my purchase, it was a year old when we received them. If life span is important to you, you might want to check with the vendor before ordering. Thanks!
The weight minimum for a booster car seat has been increased from 30 to 40 pounds to make it safer to transport a big kid. The booster is secured to the vehicle seat with a one-hand front-adjustlatch system. A secure connection keeps the booster seat stable. Do not bleach. A multi-layer headrest for your child. Even as your child grows, you will have full coverage. Energy-Absorbing foam is used for impact management. Your child is secured on all of your journeys.
👤My daughter has been using this seat for at least 2 years. We were in an accident. The impact was on the side of the car. Her head and body were stable thanks to this seat. I have to replace her last seat since the crash was not minor, so I will purchase this seat again.
👤I have bought four of these seats. I was involved in a car accident in which I slammed into two other cars. My four year old was restrained in a booster seat. The car seat did what it was designed to do and my child walked away with no injuries. The seat gets two thumbs up from my family.
👤The carseat is easy to install, but it doesn't last very long because of the latches and the fact that my child is buckled in. This is only used as our secondary carseat, and the back part doesn't stay put. It immediately falls back down when we adjust it upward. At this point, it's a safety hazard. We have tried contacting Graco customer service, but their service is very slow. It took three weeks for an initial response after we tried e-mailing. We called in the meantime. They initially wanted our receipt after sending us an e-mail with a claim number. We immediately sent it back. They took two weeks to respond. We e-mailed back within the day after they requested a video of the defect. We have not received a reply for three weeks. Avoid this product and save yourself money. We have two other Graco carseats that we love, but this booster seat is not one of them.
👤It works in my Honda Odyssey's captain chair. The addition of the latch is an awesome addition, it eliminates the sliding on my leather seats and the need to Buckle it when not in use. The belt guide allows the belt to glide through without getting stuck and I returned the booster I bought because I found another one that did the same thing. My 6 year old loves the red color and says it is comfy. The features this seat has are worth the price. It is great for a seat under $50 and adjusts up to 20 inches. It should last any child.
👤My extra tall 5 year old daughter feels comfortable in this carseat, it is easy to install, and it is easier to use on my Nissan Altima with the latch system. I used a 3 in 1 that was really good, secure, and well padded, but too bulky for a sedan, and I had to upgrade from a Safety 1st grow and go. She has a Safety 1st Alpha Elite 65 as her second carseat and it matches my car color and looks really good. The arm rest should be adjusted. It's ok for the price. I hope I don't have to buy another carseat as it will convert to a booster seat.
👤There were no issues with the installation of the ford f 150. I ordered a nice seat for my car. The plastic cup under the booster seat is still used by many people who didn't read the set up directions. Come on. It's one of the steps in getting the seat set up.
A hassle-free 3-step installation is what SnugLock Technology is about. The infant car seat protects rear-facing infants from 4 to 35 lbs. An easy-to-read level indicator helps eliminate installation guesswork, and the base has 4 recline positions. The Click Connect technology provides one-step secure attachment of a baby car seat to strollers and bases, and a convenient compartment that holds the LATCH and manual when not in use. A rotating canopy provides shade and sun protection for your baby, and it's easy to use front adjust 5-point harness. The built-in 5-point harness system was tested for occupant retention only. A combination of the most rigorous crash tests that helps protect your child in frontal, side, rear, and rollover crashes; additional testing based on the New Car Assessment Program and for extreme car interior temperatures is what the Protect Plus engineered is. 👤I bought this in October for a baby shower gift. The window of return closes one month before the baby's due date. I should have thought about the possibility of returning it because I love graco car seats. The baby came 4 weeks early after the window of return. She is 6 lbs and this model does not have a small infant insert. There is no support for the head of an infant. I can't return this unsafe seat because it's not safe. Until now, I have never been disappointed by anything.
👤The only people I could find who received the product for free were people who had limited reviews online. Here's my regular consumer review. We are expecting baby #2 in May and used the regular Snugride click connect 35 with our 1st child, so I will make some comparisons to that model. I got this on sale for $60 off and it was a great deal at $112 with tax. The new carseat base from Graco really hit it out of the park. You can either thread the seatbelt across the base and through the holes or you can thread the strap across the base and through the holes. The carseat instruction manual can be stored in the front storage case of the latch straps. You hook the seatbelt or latch straps into the car, and then put the arm down, and it locks with a click. This is a lockoff, so that the strap cannot move around, and you get a really tight, secure install of the base. The old click connect 35 base was a bit of a pain to install because the seatbelt or latch strap still moved when threaded through the holes in the base, there was no lock off. It's sometimes difficult to get the straps tight, because you have to pull so hard. The base would still move under the straps. This is 100 times better and safer than before. The hook attachment on the LATCH straps isn't as nice as the button attachment. If you upgrade to the "fancier" 35 versions, you will get the 1 button release attachment. The latch hooks were not worth an extra $100 to me because of the sale price. The click connect base has an adjustment for recline position, but the base with the recline position is different. The dial is no longer red, but a handle and a plastic ramp that come out from the bottom. The new snuglock model is a nicer feature than the old base and it's easier to use. The seat is a little nicer than the old one. The outer textiles are nice, but the seat part is more of a "rough" fabric, similar to their older model fabric. I'm not sure why they chose to have two different types of fabric, the rougher one where the child sits, and the more water and stain resistant one, which is nice when you have a baby in there. The fabric on the seat might be more modern than the ones on the deluxe models. The newborn insert is flatter and doesn't wrap around the baby's head, just pads on the side. It feels thicker than the older 35 insert. It's not as big as the current inserts. If you research, I don't think these newborn inserts do much in regards to accident safety, they just make parents feel better, and help position baby in the seat. The older model insert did not do the job for that purpose, but this insert does. The weight is great and lightweight. The seat is on the lighter end of infant seats. I picked up a snugride 40 and a britax b safe in the store. I ruled them out because of the weight being too heavy for me to carry around all the time. The inner seat fabric is softer than the canopy. It is not as rough as my old 35 fabric. I don't know terms for textiles. The canopy of the elite version in the store was soft, thin, and high end, and this is a much cheaper fabric. The older model is more difficult to move. You have to wiggle and fight with it to get it to go up and down. The older canopy moved more easily and didn't have audible clicks, so it's a downgrade. The smooth gliding canopy is also available in the deluxe versions. They decided to "cheap out" with this canopy. It's probably my least favorite feature. The older 35 model does not extend as far as this canopy does, but it is still nice and can be a pain to get past the handle. The handle moves by pushing the red buttons on each side. I am a person with no coordination and this is not an issue for me. I don't think a button in the middle of the handle is worth an extra $100. Sometimes the canopy has to be moved out of the way as the handle moves. Standard harness straps are used. The harness has a re-thread feature, but the other models have a no re-thread feature. It's not a big deal with an infant carseat because you can easily remove it from the base and get to the back. When your child becomes front-facing, the no re-thread harness is great because it makes adjusting the straps easier. The no-rethread option is nice, but it's not really worth the extra cost on the infant seat. There's no difficulty in rethreading the straps. The crotch strap is easy to pull, some seats are hard to tighten and adjust, but this one is smooth and effortless. The only thing I don't like about the seats is the button to loosen the crotch strap, which is reached by sticking your finger in the hole. Since it's hidden, it's not intuitive. If someone else takes the baby, I need to remind them how to tighten the straps, because you have to finagle your finger around to find the metal button. I hope they update this feature in the future. The little carseat strap covers were an unexpected bonus. They're soft and a little perk. The older 35 seat did not have them. I really recommend this seat. I think it is on sale for a bit less at some retailers. The new snuglock base is an improvement over the old click connect base. The seat has some nice improvements, but it felt a little cushier than the previous model. If you want more features like no-rethread hardness or a bigger snuglock base, you should upgrade to the more expensive model.
The rear facing car seat has a hassle free 3 step installation and can protect infants from 4 to 35 pounds and up to 32 Inches quick and easy. The Simply Safe Harness System adjusts the headrest and harness to prevent rethreading. The base has 4 recline positions and is easy to read. Do not bleach. The canopy with window and visor provides shade and sun. Check your local and state laws, as well as NHTSA recommendations, for car seat usage that is crash tested to meet or exceed US standard. 👤My 9 month old daughter was saved by this car seat. We were in a car accident a few days ago and were t-boned. We rolled multiple times after the impact sent our car to a ditch. When we opened the back door to make sure our baby was okay, she looked at us and smiled. Let's do it again! Completely unharmed. There were no injuries, just smiles. We ordered 2 more car seats to replace this one and her sisters. My daughter was saved by a product from Graco.
👤I had my daughter on Nov 1. The snugride platinum we bought is working out better than before. We've been using it for a month. I'm happy I returned this seat. I have used infant seats with all of my children, even though I am having a baby any day now. I've been a customer of Graco for 12 years and I wanted to love this seat because it has a big canopy and no rethread straps. You have to fight and tug to move the canopy and handle because there is not enough space. If you pull on the canopy too much, the bolts that hold it on will come undone. This was overlooked. When you're taking care of a baby, who has time to wrestle with a car seat canopy? It's heavy and the color looks like black fabric that has been sunbleached. Not a good look. I would like to give this zero stars. I'm buying snugride Platinum instead of returning it. My sanity is worth the extra money. Unless you really enjoy wrestling with a car seat, don't bother with this seat.
👤This is our second child, and I wanted a more secure infant seat. The last one was good but not very supportive. If she slept and it tilted over too much, I would sit in the backseat with our first and adjust her head. This time, won't be possible! The weight of this seat was something I was concerned about. This is not heavier than I am used to. The way you carry these things is different than what most of us do. Curl the bar under your arm and you will struggle with it on your hip. You are supposed to thread your arm through it and hold the bat part with your hand. It makes life so much easier once you try it. If you search, you will find videos on it. People were upset with the canopy. You will have the handle up with the canopy 98% of the time. You don't need to get the canopy and bar completely flat when you want baby out. It is a design flaw, but you won't have the bar and canopy flattened most of the time. I am not sure about the aspect of the headrest being moved up as the baby grows, but some reviews mention babies quickly outgrowing it. Time will tell! I am very pleased.
👤I am a first time dad. I did a lot of research. It has been 3 months since I decided on this one. It has a lot of cushion that the others don't. It makes me feel better about how secure the baby is. I threw the smaller cushion in the washer when she had a blow out. I was skeptical that it would come clean because it was white and green and brown, but it did. It has a larger shade cover and a vent that opens up for air so it is a good place to take a newborn. The base is easy to level and the seat seems to be tighter than the one we used before. If you follow the instructions, it can be secured without the base. In case someone else has to pick the kid up in an emergency. My wife and I both have the same base in our cars, even though I bought a second base. I have found two cons after 3 months. It is a bit heavy. My wife has a lot of trouble carrying my baby because the car seat feels heavy, even though I'm strong, and my baby is almost 15 lbs. The second thing is that when you are not in the AC, it gets hot fast. I have a summer baby in Florida. I have noticed that when sitting the baby can't stay in it long before her underside gets hot. It is an easy fix because we use a chest holder. I would definitely do that. If I had to, I would keep it for my next child.
