👤Don't spend your money on something you don't need. You're going to buy this seat anyways. So you should start with it. I'm a good sized guy and I've had a hard time giving up on the car seats and the latch system. In the past I wondered how my wife would be able to do this in an emergency if I wasn't here. The car seat is worth a lot. The easiest thing to use is a mechanical masterpiece. My daughter is a fan as well. She's much happier when I take her out of the seat and she's not sweaty like she was in a few other seats.

👤We went to see the Nuna. The Cybex was ordered by us. We already ruled out the Graco. It was hard to miss the Britax because we read so much. It was a no-brainer after comparing the Britax with the Cybex. The release button on this guy is very annoying, but I found the buckle button a lot easier to install, she sat more comfortably, it was easier to install, and she enjoyed it more than the Cybex. 10 out of 10

👤I love this seat. It is very comfortable for my toddler. The release button is a nice feature and the straps are easy to use. The material of the seat, the straps on the seat, and everything else seems to be of high quality. The straps are long so that he can use it for a long time. My son is very happy in the car, even though we used to have another car seat.

👤Just got a car seat. After so many hours and days of research, I decided to use the car seat that was made in the USA instead of China. My husband needs another one for his car, so I decided to get this but it was almost 30 lbs, so I got it off. I am 90 lbs., so heavy that I am debating if I should keep it or get a lighter one from Italy.

👤The Britax carseat is easy to install and we love the safety features. Our one year old is on the taller side and has plenty of room in this seat. Highly recommended.

👤A great car seat that is stylish and comfortable. We went with this one because we bought two.

👤It's difficult to let out the straps to get the baby in and out. Trying to figure it out.

👤This care seat is easy to install. It is good to know that the baby is made of steel and not foam.

👤If the car seat doesn't last 6 months, it's not much of a "all in one". The cheap styrofoam inside the car seat is the biggest issue. It cracked and then broke. How safe is that now? We've switched it from vehicle to vehicle a few times, but never rough housed it. I bought a used one and gave it to my parents. A waste of money. There are other places to look for a car seat.

👤This is the best carseat. It's easy to make adjustments, and it's very soft. I'm buying this carseat for a friend's baby shower gift. I had mine for about 2 years and it lasted through a toddler.

👤This is the second car seat I have purchased. There is no better car seat. My child and all of my cousins have one. Good material, easy to install, and will adjust to your child's weight gain over time.

👤This is a good car to eat. I bought it for my granddaughter. We can have one in each car if we buy the second one. Fast shipping and a very good value.

👤I didn't like it. It was too large and heavy.

👤I bought this car seat for my grandson. It is well made and he loves it.

👤The car seat is made to grow with your child, it's a 3-in-1. The cup holder design is lacking and we like the car seat, but it doesn't take up too much space. The cup holders should have bottoms to them instead of a stretchable band. It is impossible for little ones to store anything other than water bottles.

👤Good! The kid is comfortable in it. She was not happy with the cheaper version of the evenflo. The cup holder has a elastic band to hold the cup in, but the cup has fallen out once in a while from a sharp turn.

👤I love this car seat. I bought this one for my youngest as well. It is easy to install and adjust. Overall happy with the purchase.

👤This car seat is worth every penny. Don't waste your time with other car seats that are difficult to install or switch out, if you try this model with this secure system, you'll never go back. Great product and quick delivery.

3. Cosco Finale Booster Sweet Berry

Cosco Finale Booster Sweet Berry

The cup holder can be used on either side of the seat. The IIHS has a best bet rating. Made in the USA with American and imported parts. Made in the USA with American and imported parts.

👤I hurt my back and hands in the accident, but my son didn't complain. He was checked out by the doctor and didn't have any injuries. I bought the same one to replace the one I used.

👤If you want to use this seat for everyday use, I would recommend you to keep looking. I have used a lot of car seats and this one has pros and cons, but I don't like them all. The fabric had a tear after 2 weeks of use. After 2 weeks! That is crazy. The seat seems to be made of plastic. I don't feel like I'm protecting my kids. The size is lightweight and slim. It is easy to fit into most situations where a car seat is needed. My kids loved having someone to store their stuff. The straps were easy to install. I've had seats where you need to catch your breath, drink some water and wipe your sweat after installing it in the car. If you are going to use this as a secondary seat for travel or for a grand parent, aunt, or uncle's car, go for it. If you want this to be your child's everyday seat, go for something with a little more quality. It is the only safety measure that could possibly save your child's life.

👤The carseat is light and works well on Southwest Airlines seats. The arm has to be up, but it barely touches the armrest limit. I put it in my carry on and used a travel belt to get it through the airport. It was easy to detach to get through security. After it was detached from the plane, I held it over my head to walk down the isle. It was super light here. I am 5'1. The seat fit over my head and there was room to spare. I was able to use the seatbelt to Buckle, and used a folded cloth over the Buckle to keep it from pressing too much into my toddler's back. He didn't complain. This is not an issue in the plane with their lap belts. There are no issues with the seatbelts in the rental cars. It was comfortable enough for him to sleep in. When we went back to his normal seat, he never complained about the extend2fit seat we use. It's great for travel.

👤We've purchased a lot of seats, but this one felt like it was flimsier. After two weeks of use, a plastic piece near the harness tighten strap broke as I was securing my child in the seat. I liked the idea of a harness that could grow as he got bigger. I will be buying another brand to replace it. I fear how this might hold up in the event of a crash if pieces break just from tightening the belt.

👤I have to leave a review for this product because I am so happy with the results. I have a 2010 corolla and was pretty sure we would need another big vehicle to allow 3 carseats. I researched so much that I found great reviews for the price and they fit. It is snug. I could secure each seat tightly and safely. I don't know if I'll have a baby in the middle or side, but both arrangements fit. The car is not our go-to family car, so we don't envision long trips with the kids in these seats, but we now have peace of mind knowing if the parent who has the car that day needs to go to store / drop off at daycare / etc with all 3 So relieved! You can use the 5 point harness until 65 lbs. When our 5 year old gets to that point, we will assess what to do. It would be very difficult to buck in. The 5 point harness was needed.

4. Maxi Cosi Pria Convertible Moonstone Violet

Maxi Cosi Pria Convertible Moonstone Violet

The 3-In-1 convertible car seat is a 3-in-1 seat. Up to 100 pounds in booster mode. GCell protects your child's head where it's needed most in a side impact crash. The harness holders keep the straps out of the way. Easy click-in for better installation is what the 1 click latch system has. A quick fit shoulder harness raises the harness and height. A quick fit shoulder harness raises the harness and height.

Brand: Maxi-cosi

👤Since 2007, we have used Maxi Cosi for all of our children. Due to a car accident, we had to replace the Pria 85 for our last two littles. The seats performed well during the accident, and my 3 month old stayed asleep through the whole thing. After an accident, car seats must be replaced. We decided to try the new 3 and 1 because we thought it would be an upgrade. It is not. It feels nice with all the padding, but as soon as you remove it, there's almost no comfort left. You can see the curve of the plastic frame underneath the cover. I would have had to replace all of our sippy cups if we had kept the seat. We couldn't get it mounted properly in our large expedition because of the two other things. We ordered the Pria Max 85 direct from Maxi Cosi at a sale price of $220 each, and returned them almost immediately. That seat is a thousand times better than this one. Better quality fabric, better comfort, more stable infant inserts, magnetic chest clips, and an appropriate sized cup holder are some of the things that have been improved.

👤The seat is hard to tilt when a child is sleeping. We had a cosi for three years and thought aboutUpgrading, but I'm going to return it and go back to the old seat. My daughter's head is falling forward.

👤My daughter is 6 months old and she is in a car seat. I was worried that it wouldn't fit in my car. It was fine. The passenger seat has to be completely forward so no one can sit there. The car seat is beautiful. It was very comfortable for my daughter. I would highly recommend them because of how safe and secure they are.

👤Oh my good fortune. My son is happy in this seat. It is safe and comfortable for him. So happy! He is 11 months old and dislikes travel. He will sometimes fall asleep in the car because of this seat.

👤I really wanted to use this seat. There were a few things that I noticed when I put my boys in it. The fabric was nice and the boys seemed to be comfortable in it. The seat is very deep. I am not sure that would work for my son. The main issue that I noticed during this initial fitting was that the buckle was very cheap and it almost had sharp edges that could potentially dig into their skin. The straps were thin and other reviewers had complained about it. The car seat was light for its size and made me wonder if it was safe during a side impact collision. I still liked the seat despite this being a deal breaker. Installation was the problem, which is why I returned it. There is a If I only needed this as a forward facing car seat, I could keep it, but I need it rear facing for at least another year as my boys are 11 months old and weigh 20 pounds. The car seats are great, but Rear facing is terrible, and it would have made it a great forward facing seat for them. It didn't fit in my car. I own a Toyota Highlander and it should not have been a problem. I had to move my seat. The seat was easy to install, but my husband couldn't get it tight enough. You could press a finger on the back of the car seat and the base would flip so that the head of the car seat was touching the head of the highlander. This is a huge problem. If we had been a collision, the seat could flip forward with my child in it. We couldn't refuse to do this no matter what we tried. We read the manual multiple times and tried to adjust it. It wouldn't fit. It wouldn'tlatch down correctly. It is going back! I have the Britax Marathon, Britax Emblem and Graco 4ever. I will try to find one that works, but sadly it is not.

5. Cybex Convertible Non SensorSafe 12 Position Height Adjustable

Cybex Convertible Non SensorSafe 12 Position Height Adjustable

System absorbs up to 25% more impact forces. Patented 3-position reclining headrest helps prevent the child's head from falling forward while asleep, keeping the head and neck in a safe position and ensures a comfortable sleeping position. The no-rethread harness protects your child while the height-adjustable headrest protects you. For the best fit to your car, 6-position one-hand recline. For the best fit to your car, 6-position one-hand recline.

👤I wanted to be in this car seat all the time. It's comfortable and sleek. I was between Britax and this. For a few reasons, I decided on the Britax. I ordered this one for the app technology of temperature. It was ironic that they received the wrong one. Normally, I would've contacted Amazon and waited for the replacement, then sent the wrong one back. After installing it, I realized it was the wrong one. The clips are very annoying. I would have needed that little device to help me. The magnet that was supposed to hold the clips was so weak that it might not help me at all. It's similar to others. The button for strap release was simpler than the Britax. I'm more likely to need the button.

👤I need to install and uninstall the car seat weekly because I don't have the option of permanently installing it. It's difficult to pull the belts tightly enough to secure the seat. I've read all the tips and tricks I could find, and had the best outcome pulling both straps from the inside. The removal is a 20 minute challenge since the anchor doesn't release when there is tension on the belt. I wish I could give the car seats a poor rating just to encourage the manufacturers to improve their products. I bought this car seat after graduating from the Cybex Aton 2, but it doesn't offer much. I'm going to try the EasyLatch system to see if it's any easier to live with.

👤I liked the safety features and the extra padding. It was on sale at Amazon. The box was beat to hades, but inside it was still plastic wrapped, zip tied, etc. It is so nice. Nice car. It was nice to have a black Lincoln. You don't have to re-thread the harness, the padding is amazing, and the level indicator is lovely. The L.S.P. feature made me feel better even if it wasn't very useful. It is very hard to install. I have a newer version of the Sorento that is not the smallest SUV, but you wouldn't know it. There is a I would have liked to get it to a 2, even though my daughter is almost a year old, because the best rear facing level we could get was a 3. The anchors wouldn't tighten down to where I felt safe. We couldn't even use them for a while because they were too heavy. The lock off feature is almost impossible to use unless your husband handles it, and even then he could only get it halfway. It is easy to get her in and out of the vehicle when it is all said and done. If it gets knocked out of position or must be moved, I dread having to fix it. Behind the driver's seat was where we got it in and leveled. My husband couldn't get in because the front passenger seat had to be moved so far up. It is lovely, but buyer beware of how large it is and how difficult the installation is.

6. Graco Nautilus Featuring TrueShield Technology

Graco Nautilus Featuring TrueShield Technology

The belt positioning booster mode has an integrated harness storage compartment. It is easy to adjust the headrest for your child. Do not bleach. Keeps your child in a booster up to 120 pounds for a long time. It is easy to get baby in and out of the harness with the storage. The harness straps may need to be cleaned. Body support helps keep your child comfortable. Body support helps keep your child comfortable.

Brand: Graco

👤I would like to say that I absolutely love this set. I was unhappy that the seat I received had been manufactured in 2017, even though I ordered it in May of 2019. It was very upsetting to receive a seat that was already two years old and I could not use it because it was two years less than the one I bought.

👤This is safe and gets the job done. The harness that holds my child in the seat is not easy to tighten. It's very difficult. Excalibur would be easier to pull from a stone than from a strap. It's easier to be unworthy and pick up the hammer than it is to tighten the strap. It's hard to pull the strap to tighten, you will end up picking up the carseat before it tightens. You wouldn't tighten it on them if you just brought the kid around by the strap. My friend has the same problem with his car seat. When we're bored and want to challenge each other while at the playground, while watching our kids, we use this car seat strap as our muscle man challenge. The person who pulls it the most wins. We're tied at 0.0 millimeters after a year. I thought I pulled it at one point, but it was just the passing of a cloud casting a shadow on us. You might think that we are a couple of idiots. You might be right, but our wives can't do it, and we won't stand for you calling them idiots. They gave birth without pain killers and we're trying to keep them safe by tightening this strap. I told my wife to pull the strap of the car seat instead of my hand because the strap wouldn't move like my hand would. She was angry at first, but logic overcame her. To make it safe for the kid, make it an acceptable tightness, then never loosen it to get them out again. My son is made to contort his arms and hands so he can escape. I tell him about the amazing hieroglyphs and see it as a way to practice for his career as an escape artist. Buying a carseat will cause a lot of inflammation. You should get this carseat if that sounds fun. Otherwise, I would look elsewhere.

👤I had a hard time getting the crotch strap to move in my new car seat. I found a video that was very helpful and I wanted to share it with you. 1st. The crotch Buckle is easy to access if the padding is pulled away. 2nd. The material that is threaded through the seat should not be slackened if the buckle is held. 3rd. Push the side of the metal bracket through the slit in the seat while holding the strap taut. Push enough of the corner of the brackets to get through. There is a The material will bunch up if you push too much. I had the crotch buckle uninstall and reinstalled in 3 minutes using this method. I hope my instructions were clear enough, but if you can't find them on the internet, you can search for "Graco Nautilus car seat Buckle removal" by broncoboxer... It was wonderful! I haven't installed the seat or used it yet. If I dislike the car seat in a few months, I will change my post.

👤The lap belt is very awkward. My daughter's legs are being dug into. I was very excited about this seat after reading reviews. It was easy to install, but if the belt is shaped like that then I can't use it. It really digs. So disappointed. It was difficult to unclip. It took a long time to unclip because it was so stiff. I felt terrible.

👤Our daughter is just 3 years old and fights me when I get into the car because she wants to be in charge. It leads to fights and head bumps. "To TIGHT" is the constant refrain, often because I'm leaning into the car to get her set. The Evenflo Revolve is a car seat. I wanted to be ready for daycare pickup after the canton showed up. I unboxed and un-bagged the seat and the company had the manual at my finger tips. The set removes from the base so that you can focus on getting the belts threaded properly and secure with the arm that they provide which is used to tighten the LATCH. The life of the seat is dependent on the seatbelt. I used the LATCH connectors for a quick swap on day one, but will need to update the seatbelt this weekend. I got it tight as a drum on the first try, and was ready for pickup after watching a quick but easy to follow install video on YouTube. The little lady was curious and it took me a few minutes to wait for her to finish her inspection and let me put her in with the seat facing toWARD the door. We're really excited for this seat, it will work for years in a booster mode as she gets bigger, and we'll be ready for easy in and out no matter which side of the car we're on. There is a genius. We have other little ones in our family, so I've stowed the butt pad and infant extra infant head pad in the trunk in case we need to tote anyone else's little one around, with the easy rotation feature we'll be able to accommodate kids of any age in There are recline positions that are backward facing. The EveryStage is a level up for our primary vehicle and is one of the reasons why we had another all in one Evenflo Car Seat. It's a new seat to the market, but so far it's been great. Highly recommended.

👤I was against the car seat but I love it! The other brand has a giant thing on the bottom, but I like the rotating concept. It fits well in a Honda Civic. My kids are still rear facing and it looks very comfortable. I wish it had an option to recline in the reclining position. It is great, except for that.

👤I was worried that my Honda Civic wouldn't fit, but it does! It took some time to fit my son, but now he is safe and comfortable. It was easy to install in the car. I like it so far. The update was 2 months later. I love this thing. It's so easy for my son to get in and out of the car.

Brand: Diono

👤I am a professional nanny who has done hundreds of car seat installations for a variety of seats and cars and has taken multiple car seat classes. These seats are tanks. They require a few tricks of the trade to install. I was able to get a safe install while nine months pregnant in the Florida summer heat, but I would not recommend this seat if you are going to switch it between cars or have someone unfamiliar with car seat installations transporting your child. My son is two years old and he is in the middle seat of my Honda Civic. I needed a slim seat to maximize back seat usage. I wanted something that would last from newborn to booster. I was excited about the new seat because it addressed some of the issues I had with the previous ones. My baby is in the rear passenger seat. The bar is anti-rebound. The older Dionos have a strap that you attach to the front seat tracks which decreases rotation in a crash, but it can be difficult to set up and leave excess strap laying everywhere. Due to the design of the seats in my car, the anti-rebound bar does not completely brace against the seat, which is why it is supposed to be the replacement. It will not reduce rotation in a crash. There is a My first son was two weeks late and a decent size, so the RXT worked well from birth but would not be ideal for a small baby. The QXT has newborn features that make it great, such as keeping the new baby at a perfect angle and keeping his head from flopping around. The foot attachment at the bottom of the rear seat can slip into the back seat crack to achieve the desired angle, but some vehicles do not have a suitable crack for this to be positioned in. I have a spare seat for my mother's car because it is hard for me to get a safe rear facing install in her car. The issue hasn't been fixed in the new QXT. I am quite happy with the seat so far. My older RXT has held up well. I expect nothing different from this new series. I love that I can have both boys in the back of my little car with me. The seat has passed extensive safety tests and will hold up well in the event of a roll over crash. Give yourself plenty of time to get a safe install after reading the manual and looking up videos online, and be sure to research compatibility with your vehicle.

👤I have purchased four of these seats, one for each grandchild, and a replacement after an accident. This is the seat you want to sit in. The kids that I treated did well. This seat will help absorb the energy from an accident and help to protect your loved one.

👤The wife ordered three overpriced monstrosities for our cars. Installation in smaller vehicles is a nightmare because they weigh 50 pounds. Due to our situation, I will have to take these out and replace them several times a year. I will lose even more time when I have to remove and reinstall them because they have already cost me over 1000 dollars. I have one installed correctly, one that I gave up installing, and one that is still in the box after spending 4 hours. These things will haunt me until my kids grow up. The box they came in was loaded with trendy phrases so I guess it is all good.

9. Britax One4Life ClickTight All One

Britax One4Life ClickTight All One

A new one4life convertible to booster car seat can be used for 10 years. You'll know it's right in the first three steps. One4life converts from a rear facing infant car seat to a forward facing 5 point harness. The crumple zone helps absorb crash energy and the v-shaped tether is patented. Two layers of side impact protection surround the head, neck and torso. Two layers of side impact protection surround the head, neck and torso.

Brand: Britax

👤The car seat came out just in time, I have been looking for it. I wanted an extended rear facing car seat that was up to 50 pounds, as I have read that rear facing is best for little ones. I wanted the seat to be convertible to a front facing and booster seat so I wouldn't have to use multiple car seats over the years. There is a I wanted it to be safe. I narrowed it down to the nextfit max, graco extend2fit, and this car seat because they all have the booster option. The graco extend2fit would have been my choice if the seat hadn't come out. This car seat is the winner over the graco. There is a The installation is easy. I don't have to worry about messing with the latch, and I only have to close the click tight panel under the seat once I put the seatbelt across. My mom sat in it and was impressed by how comfortable it was. I was worried that it wouldn't fit in my car because of the extended rear facing seat. I was expecting a front seat passenger but there is still room for a passenger in the front seat. If it's in your budget, stop searching and get this car seat today. The safety of my child is worth it even though it is on the pricier side. It is worth the investment when I consider that the seat will last 10 years, and that I spend more time eating out than I did on the seat, it puts things in perspective. If it was helpful, please give this review a thumbs up.

👤I have removed a star for lack of comfort. Without a pull-up on but with the Britax Seat saver in use, my son started complaining about his bottom hurting and the seat being too hard about 25 minutes into the ride. I put my hand on the seat cushion and felt a bar under the seat cushion. The cushion isn't padded enough. That is not comfortable! This is very upsetting for a seat like this. The manual storage location is stupid. It is under the seat cushion behind the child's back, making it more difficult for the child to sit on. It would get torn up from all the moving around of the child. I don't like storing it in my glovebox. It should be with the seat. The only RF seat that has a shell tall enough for my son, who is only in the 75th percentile for height, is this one. I liked the harness straps, but now they seem to be falling apart. I'm going to keep an eye on this. There is a lot on this seat that needs to be improved. I'm very disappointed that there is no anti-rebound bar for this seat. The seat was shown with the anti-rebound bar, which was supposed to be used for a leg rest. The anti-rebound bar was not mentioned when the seat was released. An ARB might be available at some point, according to the company. Not good enough. Britax states the importance of the ARB and then releases a seat that doesn't have one. The seat cover doesn't fit the headrest. I've talked to someone else who has this seat and it's the same as mine. There is a lot of foam around the top of the seat. I don't like it. All. . It seems like it's too easy for the foam to be damaged. The headrest is moving a lot. This seems odd to me. It doesn't fit in the seat shell. I hear it rattle when my son moves his head. It seems like it should be better for the price. This seat is quite wide. I measured at the cupholders. Since we don't have any other passengers in the back seat, it does fit in my small car. The cupholders are easy to remove. It would be dangerous for the driver to have cupholders launched around the vehicle if they pulled them out and thrown them around by a young child. The seat requires the child's head to be below the shell, which is confusing. I don't like ambiguous rules for car seats, though I know a lot of them have this rule. I'm going to talk to a tech about how to measure that. My son is 42" tall and is 4 years old, so he seems to fit well in it. We finally found a seat that he can use to max out rear-facing in height or weight, because he has such a long torso. We already had a seat he could forward face in, so hopefully the rule won't affect that. I've only allowed my son to sit in the seat with a pull-up on so far, and I'm concerned the crotchbuckle is too short, which could cause him to break his crotch. I will find out if the Britax Seat Saver will be comfortable for him without a pull-up. The seat was easy to install. This is the only seat I've tried that is easy to install. It installed more evenly than any of the others I've tried. I like that the seat cover is machine washable, but I haven't tried removing it yet. It's machine dryable, which is great, but I will probably try not to dry it to help with longevity. The seat is quite tall. I have to have it on the second-to-last recline in order to be able to see out my window. The comfort of the seat, ease of installation, and height of the shell are the big winners here. The straps are easy to tighten and I like them. I leave the straps and unbuckle to get my son in and out so I don't have to tighten it all the time. The anti-rebound was supposed to be available. The ARB is more important with bigger kids since they have more force. There are some things that need improvement on this seat, but there are also some great things about it. I don't think we will keep this seat. The Nuna Exec comes with an anti-rebound bar and is easy to install, so we might end up with it.

10. Chicco KidFit Belt Positioning Booster

Chicco KidFit Belt Positioning Booster

The DuoZone has 10 positions for growing children. KidFit is kept in place with the help of the SuperCinch LATCH attachment and one-pull tightener. The seat design and double foam padding give support in all the right places. The seat has a single recline adjustment. 2 cup holders fold away when not in use and are easy to clean. The seat pads and armrest covers are machine-washable. The seat pads and armrest covers are machine-washable.

👤We needed two new boosters, one for my car and one for my husband, so I bought this booster seat and the Britax. We decided to get both and return the one we didn't think was as safe. The two booster seats are very similar. The one zip removal of the cover and the simple pulling on the strap in the front of the base are the main differences between the two. My husband decided to use the Chicco because his latch is a bit further down in his seat than mine. The Britax is larger in the upper back support than in the base. My son said that he was comfortable in both. I posted a picture of the two of them in my car to see how they compare. Hopefully it holds up.

👤We bought this for our young child. He is not quite 40 lbs. He likes the double cup holder because it doesn't sit as high up as our old booster seat, and he likes that. He has more leg room behind our seat because it is a sleeker more upright design. I bought 3 more in different colors for each vehicle he travels in because I liked this one so much. Great purchase. Highly recommended. It was easy to install in our vehicles. It's easy to install in his grandparents' cars. He uses the regular seat belt across his lap and shoulder but it doesn't rub against his neck because of the orange loop attached to the booster seat. We are all happy we went with the Chicco.

👤I wish I had bought another Evenflo for my wife's car because this seat seems more comfortable than the one my son uses. The seat belt doesn't want to stay in the loop guide. It has to be reinstalled for almost every ride because it slips out very easily. I don't have to do that with Evenflo. I think the seat belt is guided out of the loop because of how the plastic loop extends downward. Maybe there is an alternate way to fix it. I was hoping that the head rest would support my son when he falls asleep. It is not better than the Evenflo in that regard. The seat belt issue makes this booster less safe than other car seats.

👤I needed to buy a car seat for my granddaughter. We needed an easy in-and-out seat for her because she doesn't have bussing at her school. Her carseat is the normal one. She can't unbuckle herself for school drop off. She needs to be able to do this because you don't want to hold up the car line at school. I wanted to stick with a brand that has served us well, is highly rated for safety, and has a quality product. The Kid Fit is easy to assemble. She went to install it in my car after she sat in it to set the correct size. This seat doesn't work in my car. The seat back of the car seat is not big enough to fit against the automobile seat. The rear headrest can't be removed, so I thought it might work if I removed it. There is a picture with my hand between the back of the Key Fit and the actual car seat. You can see how large the gap is. I put her in the seat with the shoulder strap and pulled her forward on the back of the seat. It was frightening how far the seat would tilt forward even with the sealtbelt on. The back of the KidFit should fit in the auto seat according to the owners manual. This seat would not work for us. This is not the place to take a risk. I've done more research on my car and booster seats. I ordered a seat with a latch system to hold it in place when not in use. Will do a follow up review after that seat is received. I wish it would have worked. Will continue to use the MyFit which is installed in a GMC Acadia for everything but school drop off and pick up. She needs a 5-point harness system until she reaches the 65 lbs. limit.

👤It was not taken lightly that I had to order 3 of these carseats. We absolutely love them. They fit in the 3rd row of the car. The good is very easy to clean. The only issue is that they are very long and if you are rear facing in the photo it sticks out a lot. These are by far the hardest. I'm not sure if it was because we have so many or so close together, but if it was, uninstall it. If you have 3 under 2 like me, you should buy this carseat because it will fit 3 across and save you time trying to fit 10 other carseats.

👤The car seat is heavy. Installation was easy for a small person like me. However! I had my son in this car seat when we were t-boned. My son was behind me because it was difficult to get him out of the middle seat in a big F-150 after we were hit. I learned something. I had to have emergency surgery for a broken skull, fractured eye sockets, and brain hemorrhage. I have a long recovery ahead of me, but my son died. I think this car seat saved his life. My son came out of the wreck without any injuries. The attending EMTs told me that they were surprised to find us not dead but unharmed. This is a very sturdy car seat that is easy to install. My son is a big boy and has always been comfortable in it. My son spills everything and the cover isn't as easy to clean as I would hope for, so I wish it was made of a stronger fabric. It stands up to a delicate cycle, but some messes require more scrubbing that this cover wouldn't stand up to. I would recommend this seat. The nurses asked about the car seat when they found out my son had been in the wreck, and he was happy and healthy. I told them to use this Diono.

👤The back of the cover is ripped after one wash. How is this product supposed to last? They are waiting to hear if they will replace it.

👤The 4th seat arrived and is not an open box. Don't give up, another open box used seat arrived today. I'll keep coming back until I get a new one from Amazon. I went from four stars to one in a shabby update. My daughter in law just got one of these and wants the same set up as the others, so I bought her a spare. I can see that the seat is in a bashed up box. The packing is retaped and some bits are missing. This is shabby. I didn't buy an open box so I'm sending it back for a replacement. I'm not the only buyer to get a used seat. I bought 3 of these for a 2015 Grand Cherokee, but I wouldn't bother with the middle unless you want to be pushed up against the steering wheel. I'll get another Diono 3R for the middle forward facing position in 18 months. The seats are too tall for rear facing. Everything else is okay with the seats. Excellent build quality.
