👤It was not taken lightly that I had to order 3 of these carseats. We absolutely love them. They fit in the 3rd row of the car. The good is very easy to clean. The only issue is that they are very long and if you are rear facing in the photo it sticks out a lot. These are by far the hardest. I'm not sure if it was because we have so many or so close together, but if it was, uninstall it. If you have 3 under 2 like me, you should buy this carseat because it will fit 3 across and save you time trying to fit 10 other carseats.

👤The car seat is heavy. Installation was easy for a small person like me. However! I had my son in this car seat when we were t-boned. My son was behind me because it was difficult to get him out of the middle seat in a big F-150 after we were hit. I learned something. I had to have emergency surgery for a broken skull, fractured eye sockets, and brain hemorrhage. I have a long recovery ahead of me, but my son died. I think this car seat saved his life. My son came out of the wreck without any injuries. The attending EMTs told me that they were surprised to find us not dead but unharmed. This is a very sturdy car seat that is easy to install. My son is a big boy and has always been comfortable in it. My son spills everything and the cover isn't as easy to clean as I would hope for, so I wish it was made of a stronger fabric. It stands up to a delicate cycle, but some messes require more scrubbing that this cover wouldn't stand up to. I would recommend this seat. The nurses asked about the car seat when they found out my son had been in the wreck, and he was happy and healthy. I told them to use this Diono.

👤The back of the cover is ripped after one wash. How is this product supposed to last? They are waiting to hear if they will replace it.

👤The 4th seat arrived and is not an open box. Don't give up, another open box used seat arrived today. I'll keep coming back until I get a new one from Amazon. I went from four stars to one in a shabby update. My daughter in law just got one of these and wants the same set up as the others, so I bought her a spare. I can see that the seat is in a bashed up box. The packing is retaped and some bits are missing. This is shabby. I didn't buy an open box so I'm sending it back for a replacement. I'm not the only buyer to get a used seat. I bought 3 of these for a 2015 Grand Cherokee, but I wouldn't bother with the middle unless you want to be pushed up against the steering wheel. I'll get another Diono 3R for the middle forward facing position in 18 months. The seats are too tall for rear facing. Everything else is okay with the seats. Excellent build quality.

👤It is easy to install and use. My child doesn't mind being put in a car seat. The cup holder is well placed.

👤The car seat is very easy to install.

👤The product isn't good for baby. The neck area is not stable.

👤My third baby is 8 months old and I bought this for the 8th time. I'm a bit of a carseat snob. I am a freak about following rules for installing and caring for children. I have it installed and I'm trying to decide if I want to keep it or use it with my baby. Excellent recline positions, especially for bucketed seats, are provided by the plush cover and padding. This seat is good for 3 across installation, but feels a little plastic-y, flimsy on the top half of the seat. It can be done back and forth. The head support is very wiggly and there is no re-thread harness adjustment. It feels like the styrofoam would break instantly if your toddler leaned on it or yanked it hard. There isn't much room for growth with the harness straps. The overall impression leaves me underwhelmed. I purchased a wagon from Evenflo in May and it was amazing. The quality is amazing, it is a shame that this carseat didn't translate to it.

👤The carseat was filthy and the side plastic was scratched when it arrived. I got a Graco model for my older son, but the headrest is very flimsy. I ordered a replacement for my carseat, but it was filthy and didn't have a plastic covering. I got a new 4ever DLX after returning both carseats. I don't recommend this carseat for its lack of features. Take my word for it!

👤As a new mom of a 5 month old, I was happy to see that I could get a car seat for a good price. The car seat looks better in person. It is so sleek and comfortable. The instructions manual, snack tray, cups and plastic pieces were in the car seat when I took it out of the box. The padding is placed on the seat so it is easy to clean. The cup holders have liners that can be washed. I love the double cup holders. I usually have the fiancĂ© install the car seats, but I took a stab at it myself. It wasn't easy for me, but with help from him, I was able to install tight and correct. He said that the installation wasn't bad and that the manual was definitely needed. After putting him in the car seat, he took a nap in it and we were very happy with it. The straps were easy to adjust to, but the bottom buckles were a bit harder to clasp. Since our son is still a baby, we use this car seat in our second vehicle, and it's easier to use a bucket car seat in and out of the house. We are excited to use the 4 in 1 car seat and watch him grow for many years. I am happy to know my son will be safe in this car seat in case of an accident. My child is in a car seat. The sensor safe clip that we have in our infant car seat is not included in this car seat. I will be sad to not have that feature in the future. It would have been a great addition to the car seat. This is a great price for a car seat and I recommend it.

4. Maxi Cosi Pria Convertible Nomad Black

Maxi Cosi Pria Convertible Nomad Black

Side impact protection technology with GCell protects your child's head where it's needed most in a side impact crash. The clipquik auto-magnetic chest clip will get you to your destination quickly. The harness covers are out of the way. While getting in and out of the convertible car seat, the flip away buckle won't get in the way. While getting in and out of the convertible car seat, the flip away buckle won't get in the way.

Brand: Maxi-cosi

👤UNSAFE! Way too loose! It was in my car for 10 minutes before I decided to leave. Definitely not for rear facing. The seat belt goes through the car seat under the baby's legs, so there is no holding the back of the car seat down. The manual says the buckles should move more than a half inch, but they were pulled as tight as possible. This is supposed to grow with your child. Work forward facing but not SAFE rear facing.

👤I was very excited to purchase this car seat, but after trying to install it, I will be returning it. If you remove the belt you will see a stitch which limits the amount of tighten it can be, this car seat was moving way more than the allotted 1 inch, as well as tipping over. The instructions for installing it say you may need to use a towel to adjust the level. Really? Britax's infant car seat is better than that. I think I will go back to Britax.

👤My son and I love this car seat. Even though the weight limit said he could stay in his infant seat for another 10 lbs, he was too big for it. The Maxi Cosi is a great seat for my little guy. Lots of leg room and head room, but also supportive. The strap clips are gorgeous. You don't have to worry about setting those aside when you are trying to get your child into the seat. I didn't have to worry about putting the seat in my car by myself. I would recommend it.

👤My child was excited to see the baby arrive. She can sit up and see now that she has upgraded. The car seat is very comfortable and my little is very pleased with it. I would still buy it even though it is big and bulky. It's very easy to install and just adjust the straps. Take out the baby and put it in. Not bad for the price.

👤Excellent quality carseat. The carseat is large compared to others I looked at. I have a vehicle. The front passenger seat cannot be reclined after installation. The driver and passenger could not recline their seats while we tried to install in the center seat of the 2nd row. The seat was installed for rear facing. The installation was a pain in the ass. I tried to install it with my husband. Installation instructions of the Quick Guide seem to conflict with the User Manual. We had to use a large noodle to get the seat level. The box got thrown out, so I would have returned the seat.

👤The carseat is not designed to be in the back. Our car doesn't recline very well. My 7 months old is sitting down. The carseat is very comfortable if used forward.

👤I wish I had bought it for all three of my children. The easiest car seat you will ever own is this one. It took me 3 minutes to put it in my car. My child hated her infant seat and was very picky about riding in the car. She had to make sure her next car seat was the right fit. The seat cover is so soft and plush that you can't do online shopping without it. I don't pull out sweaty babies in the den of humidity. She doesn't scream to just be out. We traveled for 3 hours with no issues. She loves her car seat. I always knew that having to find the straps was a convenience. The one handed chest clip is a dream. I love this seat so much. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

5. KidsEmbrace Harness Booster Marvel Spider Man

5-POINT HARNESS SECURITY. There are four points on the body, two at the shoulder and two at the hips, where the harness can be fastened to give your child the best possible protection. There are three slots for the harness shoulder straps to be positioned for your child. When using a forward-facing car seat, the shoulder straps should be above the shoulders. There are two mode options. Children weighing between 22 and 65 pounds and 29 to 49 inches in height can use this forward-facing five-point harness car seat. Older children weighing between 40 and 100 pounds and 38 to 57 inches in height can be put in a belt-positioning booster seat. Before using this car seat as a belt-positioning booster, they recommend using the 5-point harness to the maximum recommended weight and height. There are safety precautions. This seat is above Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. Only when used with a 5-point harness can the side impact be tested. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has a "best bet" rating. The three-position headrest has energy-absorbing foam. Two cup holders make it easier to hold drinks or store treats. The three-position headrest has energy-absorbing foam. 👤I have three kids and each one has 888-492-0 888-492-0's. I would buy a new one if I had to clean them or move the straps. I wish I had that when I was a child, but you don't have to take the carseat apart and sell your soul to Satan to raise the straps! It is easy to install into my husband's truck and my mom's mobile. I highly recommend this car seat to any mom, dad, grandpa, aunt that was stuck with kids when mom went nuts, that wants to save her sanity. This purchase will not make you regret it.

👤My son is a tall 5 yo and he fit in the car seat perfectly, it's safe and he loves it. He says he's very comfortable, but he actually buckled it up himself. I just came in to check. He goes every time he enters the car. Wow! I love my new car seat and seeing him happy makes me happy. This car seat creeps me out. When my son isn't in it and I'm driving, I keep thinking that someone is behind me in a spiderman costume. This is what it looks like. It is great, other than that.

👤My son is a big fan of Spider-Man. I knew this car seat would make him happy. My son loves the Spider-Man cover and the car seat looks great, it's very comfortable. Long-term safety is one of my concerns. A piece of plastic that isn't strong enough is clicked on by the upper head strap. This can be broken by a car accident. Most car seats are made of metal. The seat is not tight enough because the strap that secured the bottom doesn't keep it in place. The car seat is still moving even after the strap is adjusted and tightened. My recommendation is to use the seatbelt of your car as an extra precautionary step for your child.

👤This is the second car seat I have ordered. The first one had foam coming out and the buckle was sliding down. I sent it back after my son rode in it twice. My son has ridden in the new one about 10 times. It is easy to install. I am telling you that it is not worth anything. The seat belt is cheap. The part that pushes up twists and slides down is in the car. I had to unbuckle my seat belt and put my knees in the seat while my husband was driving because I had to keep looking at my son. I purchased this because it was Spider-Man. The seat belt straps are very thin. I wouldn't recommend it. So upset.

👤Will not be tightly installed. I was able to move this seat all over the place by using the seatbelt system and the latch. My son was very sad. I have installed many car seats and never had this problem. I have a Honda pilot that is newer than the one I own. My daughter wants the cinderella one, but we won't be getting that either. Will return this and have a sad little boy.

👤I have purchased Diono carseats before and they are very familiar with me. When you get the carseat, sit down and read the manual. The manual says to keep the headrest up for babies, even though the review said the baby was uncomfortable with it down. I had no issues installing the carseat. I thought the new design was easier. It does not lean as far back as the 3rxt, so in my opinion, the adjuster is optional if in the middle seat. For reference, I have a subsaru. Anyone buying a carseat knows how heavy it is. It's made of metal. Why would anyone buy a carseat to take on an airplane? If you need to travel, it folds up easily, and it has a long strap that keeps it in place. Is there anything in the crevices of this carseat? Yes! Does my one year old like pulling the fabric off the chair? Yes! He is comfortable and I think the quality and safety of Diono carseats is more important than either of those things.

👤The car seat is very comfortable for my baby. It was easy to install and you can easily fit 3 across the seat. The reinforcement bar is my biggest concern. The idea seems amazing, but I live in Arizona where it is 116 degrees outside, and the bar left a burn mark when I strapped my baby in. It was me and not my baby's foot, that would be a huge problem. I wrapped it with a blanket but I wonder if this was a thought or concern for manufacturing?

👤The car seat has a lot of great features. This is an upgraded version of the 3RXT that I own. Safety is the top of my list. The seat has an anti-rebound bar that helps it be more secure in a crash. I wanted this feature for my child because I don't have a place in my car to tether a rear-facing car seat. The fabrics and colors are very pretty and soft, and I like that my child has extra padding on the seat bottom with the memory foam cushion. My other 2 car seats of different brands do not have this extra cushion. The headrest on this car seat has been improved by Diono. My daughter seems to like her new seat. I haven't owned this seat for a long time, but I am very happy with it.

👤I wish we had purchased this a long time ago. The car seat from Diono is heavy. It's not so heavy that you can't move it. It makes our Britax and Graco car seats feel weak. I spent about an hour studying the manual and taking the Diono seat out of the box. The color is vibrant and matches my wife's car interior. We had to lift our daughter out of her position in order to get her out of the car. The design of the Diono is sleek and everyone is amazed at it. We can fit the car seat and 2 adults in the back of the SUV without any issues. It's a must if you can get a deal on this seat.

7. Safety 1st Continuum Chili Pepper

Safety 1st Continuum Chili Pepper

It's easy to get your child out of the seat with the harness held back. For a comfortable ride, grow with baby pillow. The Quick Fit Harness can be adjusted in one simple step. Less space in the back seat is taken up by the 3-position recline, machine-hygiene and dryer safe seat pad, and 1 dishwasher-safe cup holder. 👤It's nice. It's hard to get it in the car. It should move more. Downfall is even with the air on the baby. A woman ran a red light and hit me in the car accident. The car seat was amazing. My daughter did not move. She was uninjured and cried. I had a concussion. I will get another one to replace the one I lost.

👤The choice between the Safety 1st Grow and Go and the Continuum is a personal one. The seat we bought to replace the one that was totaled is called the Safety 1st Grow and Go. We had bought the Grow and Go for $100 and couldn't wait for it to go on sale again, so I decided on the Continuum. The Continuum looks, feels and performs very similar to the Grow and Go. The weight limit for the Cont. is 80 lbs compared to 100 lbs for the GnG. He may be too tall for it by the time he reaches 80 lbs. There is a Cont. The cup holder is not the same as the GnG. My 2 year old doesn't have a problem with the 1removable pillow behind the back. It has hooks to keep the straps out of the way. This is great in theory, but I rarely use them. Installation took less than 10 minutes and I had no problem getting it tight enough so that it moves less than an inch. I found it much easier to tighten when I fed the strap back through the belt path and pulled from the opposite side. I found that the shoulder belt lifted one side of the seat when fully tightened. The seat was made cockeyed by this. I took off the seat cover to wash it twice after 6 months of owning the GnG. It was easy to get off and on. The seat cover design of the Cont. is the same as that of the other one. The head rest is prone to rattle when there is not a kid in the seat. The Continuum arrived in about 24 hours. Hopefully this review is helpful. We haven't used the Continuum for a few days, so I will continue to update. We've had the Continuum for 6 months. This carseat is still very good. The cover was easy to remove for washing. I had to put it back on because I didn't remove the seat from the car. It was easy to install the first time, but I haven't taken it out of our car again. I don't know how easy it is to switch between vehicles every week.

👤I didn't want my sons seat to be in between my husbands and mothers car so I bought this spare seat. The main seat of his car is the Graco 4ever. I wasn't sure if I could afford a second seat, but when I saw this one, I was so excited. It was bought right then and there. I love it. I couldn't afford another one of those. This met all of my needs. My son is 25 lbs and 30 inches tall. He fits so well.

8. Graco 4Ever Extend2Fit Convertible Clove

👤The 4ever xtend2fit was advertised for a black friday sale. My wife and I got one of these for a good price from the babies and we are closing sales. We have a second baby on the way in April and thought we could use one in each car until we need both. The description was read by me. It has a tightlatch system. We have the same thing. The issue is here. I notice different colors and click through. The other "color" options were cheaper. I understand that manufacturers sell less popular colors for less. It happens all the time. If you change the color, you also change the product. The 4ever extend2fit is still said to be. It's not the same as the EZ Tight LATCH system. Their basic one is more difficult to tighten. To take it out. That is a large task. If this doesn't get resolved, I will be returning the product and buying a different brand. I don't like the idea of advertising and changing the product description to make it look different.

👤The car seat has grown with my child over the last 3 years. She is a tall girl and it has fit her perfectly. It is very easy to adjust to her needs and secure her car. I don't mind taking a few extra minutes to install her seat because I know she's safe. The quality and safety features of the car seat make up for the fact that it is a little heavy. Our car was totaled in the accident. The impact was so hard that we spun our car around in a circle and the tail light came out on the other side of my car. Her car door was split in half. My daughter walked away with a bruise on her forehead and a side impact cushion. She has had more injuries than this from falling. Her car seat didn't budge at all. Even though it was a hard impact, it was completely secured. After looking at photos, doctors at the ER were surprised that she had only a bruise. I am so thankful for this seat. We replaced her seat with the same one and didn't think twice.

👤We had this seat for about 8 months and liked the idea of it being a one and done seat. We started potty training. One time the seat was soaked by our daughter. I took the seat out, cleaned it, and put it back in the car. The smell of urine was present in the car about 3 days later. The seat was the source. I took it out again and realized that it was impossible to get to the base because of the urine. I need to either buy a new seat or deal with the smell. It is hard to buy a new seat for the amount we paid, but the smell is overwhelming. If you decide to buy this seat, make sure to put down pee pads during potty training.

👤The product listing has a different name. The listing calls it 3 in 1, but it is actually 4 in 1. The name needs to be changed quickly. The most important thing is the expiration date. Do not use this car seat in harness mode for 7 years after the date on the back of the seat. The Booster Car Seat Mode will not work after the date on the back of the seat. This is a great car seat. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that other brands have, but it's a great car seat for the price. The canopy is the BOMB, it is comfortable, stylish, and has dual cup holders. My kids are spoiled when it comes to sun protection because my SUV has sun shades for them. They were agitated that the sun was in their eyes when they rode in my mom's car. This car seat solved the problem. It is easy to install. The car seat is $100 cheaper than some of the higher end brands, but it is not as easy to adjust. I needed a car seat for my kids to use in my mom's car so they wouldn't fall into it. I have 2 kids in car seats. All of them have different seating requirements. I was stressed out by having to constantly change car seats between cars, and knowing we would be adding a third child to the mix. I needed an all in one car seat that could be adjusted to fit my family in a single seating system so I didn't have to install car seats into my mom's car. This single car seat can be adjusted to fit all three of my kids. It does. The infant is facing the Rear Facing Infant. Toddler mode from 18 to 40 lbs. The forward facing mode has a weight limit of 22 to 65 lbs. I know some people think the belt positioning booster is bulky, but it is actually smaller than the other car seats in my SUV. If you have a smaller car, the canopy isn't going to obstruct your view because it's larger. I am happy with the car seat. It is safe, comfortable, and I am not having to move my car seats between vehicles anymore. I will get to try the infant seating positions soon. Hope this review was helpful.

👤Beautiful! Looks comfortable. The sun shade is my favorite thing about it. You can't find a car seat with a sun shade. It is helpful.

👤The design and canopy are great. I have a small child with no head support. This carseat review will try and update down the road.

👤We have bought several car seats so that we don't have to move them between 3 cars. This is the easiest thing to do. I can easily slide the shade from the front seat if my granddaughter is sleeping. She is going to fly twice in the next couple months and I really liked that it was approved by the FAA. She will be very comfortable flying. We did not get her until she was a year old, but the pads and comfort would be great for an infant. It is worth the extra money.

10. Safety 1st Guide Convertible Seaport

Safety 1st Guide Convertible Seaport

The LATCH equipped Safety 1st car seat is perfect for smaller cars or for extra space in your larger vehicle, and it accommodates children from 5 to 40 pounds in rear facing mode and from 22 to 65 pounds in forward facing mode. 👤Allow me to speak out against something. Is it portable? Yes. It is much lighter and easier to carry than the Britax Marathon. It is airport-friendly to parents' backs. The positives end here. The car seat's slimness is both a blessing and a curse because it's lighter in weight and narrow, which will make your toddler pinched in this. The boys tend to be bigger. The car seat has a problem with safety. A car seat that is easy to install by a parent is a good sign. If your child is not properly secured in a titanium car seat, it will be worthless. When I took the car seat to a car seat technician, I realized the difficulties. He said that he hates this particular car seat because most parents who come to him with it don't have it installed correctly and it's not their fault. It is nearly impossible to install a car seat using the LATCH feature. You almost need to be Arnold Schwarzenegger in his prime to have the strength to tighten this. Many parents compromise to move on. That is not enough. If the car seat continues to wiggle, your little one is not safe and can be whipped around dangerously in a car accident or if you brake too hard. So, you think you'll use the seatbelt? The problem is not solved. It is very difficult to tighten the seat belt to avoid moving beyond the 1 inch allowed in the user manual. Only 1 inch of wiggle is allowed by many parents. The recline is an issue because the seat almost cannot be properly tightened. The manual says that it is safe for your child to recline. The seat belt that is supposed to hold it in place is too loose, which causes the seat to recline too much. You should put your child in a highchair and drive. There is a long story short. The fact that the seat is not adequately tightened makes it very dangerous. Skip this one. I write reviews to give back to the Amazon community. **

👤Our family had to choose between a minivan and our first home with three kids. We were left wondering how long we'd be able to cram everyone into our Honda Accord, as it was pretty stuffed already and the twins would outgrow their baby cars quickly. Satefy first to the rescue! They fit! The price was reasonable and they were advertised as compact, so I decided to try them. They are comfortable for both my small and large toddlers. We are very happy with this seat.

👤I love my safety. Guide 65 is a car seat. My son does the same. The Pro's are Stain free, Smell free, Very comfortable and soft, and Easy to Buckle baby in with the lower Buckle as opposed to other brands. The baby trend is here. The lower clasp makes it difficult for both hands to concentrate. The larger chest plate seems to stay put easier and the lower buckle can be clasped one side at a time, which makes it easy to install and compatible with any vehicle. This is high quality and cheap. Con's: Uh? Doesn't come in a size that mom can fit in. I love it so much that I would love to own one. The bottom line is an excellent deal. I look for quality in a good purchase.

👤I will try my best to explain this, but here is my review of the Safety 1st. The car seat is convertible. I bought this car seat to put in my mom's truck as a rear facing car seat. I put it in my car to make sure it was ready to go before we left. When I put it in my car, I noticed there was a slight issue, but I figured it was because I did it quickly. I put it in my mom's truck for the trip. We started our journey after we thought all was good. The level line was no longer level to the ground after we stopped to get gas. I reinstalled the seat after figuring I did it wrong again. The seat was leaning backwards when the car was stopped for gas. I adjusted it again and went about our way. I told my mom that the seat wasn't securing the right way when we got to our destination. I pulled the book out and made sure I did everything correctly. I had. We went about our trip. The kids seats were moved from my mom's truck to my sisters truck. I couldn't get it to sit properly rear faced. I put her in it rear facing because it was secure and felt safer than turning her front facing. I felt better if she sat front facing then back because there was something off with the seat. We left and went back to California and it wouldn't secure in my mom's truck. I put a blanket under the one I rolled up hoping it would help. And it did not... She got sick and vomited when we put her front facing again. I flipped her around and drove home. I wrote to the company about my concerns and didn't hear back. It was not sitting well with me. They pulled my email up after I called them. FaceTiming me to make sure I was installing the seat correctly. Which I was. They called another employee to watch me install the seat. I showed them how she would end up laying on her back in the car if it pushes backwards. They told me that the seat isn't compatible with my car. I told them that I have installed this seat in three different vehicles and that it works in all of them. They said that it wasn't compatible with them. I tried to find a compatible car seat list on their website. There are reviews on the website stating the same thing I am having. They issued me a refund and had me destroy the seat to see if they are having the same issue. I don't know how I feel about that. I hope this post convinces people to purchase this and save a baby's life. The lady on the phone from the company said that the seat should not push backwards so that the baby is laying on their back. The child should not be able to push their feet on the back seat. Ever. I was trying to prove to them that point. I don't know if they believe me. I will not buy another seat from them.
