👤Bob has a stripped down version of the other strollers, like the flex 3.0 and adventure pro. The storage pockets are missing on this model and the handle grip is not on it. It is the lightest stroller of the various models and has some benefits. Don't worry, if you are a johnson, you won't miss out on the extra pockets on the more expensive models. The signature shock of this stroller is key for a comfortable ride. The wheels are smaller on the rear compared to the more expensive ones. This stroller is packed with features that you really need, but there are no options that are necessary. Check out my video. Press the helpful button if you find my review helpful.
👤I wanted to hate it. I loved how light it was and how small it was. I loved how easy it was to push and that the sun visor went far down to protect my little one from the sun beams. It pushed on the beach as well. The wheels losing air from being in my car was great, but I never had any issues with it. I don't like the things. It is really small. I have a small girl. I felt like her butt wasn't on the seat enough because the seat ledge isn't deep. Her head touched the top when the visor wasn't down. My little girl is a peanut. She is two years old and weighs 22 lbs. If you have a 1 year old, they will grow up. It should be a more long term stroller for the money. The basket under the seat is small. There is little room for storage. I felt the handle bars were short without being able to adjust them. I am considered tall for a female 5ft 8 inches but the dads out there are much taller. I had trouble with the height of the stroller. I was hunched over to push it. The child's foot space is very small. If you're looking for a bob stroller and want to save money, I recommend you buy the bigger revolution style stroller. I don't think it's fair to get all the bells and whistles for an extra $100. The stroller would be perfect for a shorter, more dainty mom but she wouldn't have enough room for her child to grow into it. I returned the stroller and went back to my jogger.
👤I was looking for a jogging stroller. I was told I had to get a stroller if I was going to run. It's what all the cool moms use. I looked them up and was horrified when I saw the price. Like it? Right? I wouldn't get many years use out of it, and my son is 18 months, so I couldn't justify spending that much. I don't want a grown child in a stroller. I searched for two months. These women will let their $400+ strollers get completely covered in God knows what and not clean them once, and still have the audacity to list them for $250+! I decided to bite the bullet and order this bad boy because I know I can sell it on the market place and get more than I paid, since I got an open box one. I am the cool military mom on my block. It looks great. My son falls asleep on the ride. I don't form a runner. I haven't been running in years. I gained some weight during the Pandemic so this is my way of losing it. I can run much faster with this thing than I did on my own. That's a plus.
The ultra-lightweight travel stroller is easy to maneuver and weighs only 14 lbs. Adding a baby Jogger infant car seat to a travel system will create a travel system. Stroller is not intended for jogging. Easy transportation and storage can be achieved with the ultra-compact, one-step fold. The multi-position padded seat reclines to a near-flat position, and the calf support provides comfort for growing children. A carry bag protects the stroller from dirt and scratches. 👤I uploaded a video as scarlet nova but can't seem to do it here, maybe it's too heavy. I will try to write everything. Our yoyo got wet. I have ordered several strollers. I only have it for 4 stares, it's not very nice, and the fabric is not easy to remove, it's the beat option to replace our yoyo. If you only buy for traveling by plane, the older version has no hassle and the back pack is very high quality, which could be a problem with crotch issues. If it is necessary to take the wheels off once a year, it is not a big deal. I think so. Tour1&2 seem to be lighter than others because they are so neat and slim when folded. The Metro has a strap that runs between the 2 layers of fabric, and you can see it on the sides. The button on the handlebars is made for a right handed person and the auto lock is located on the right hand. The autolock is on the left side of the Metro handle. The seat is 1 in shorter than the Metro backrest. That is pretty much it.
👤I didn't buy this stroller on Amazon, but I needed to write a review because there weren't many reviews for it. The stroller came out in February. This review is only for the new version of the city tour. I live on the other side of the country with my family all the way from the east and have traveled a lot with my baby. I was so relieved to find a stroller that was a combination of all the travel strollers. I bought a stroller because the others are impractical, and I didn't want to return it after one trip. I hated the Baby zen yoyo for its price and lack of storage. I used the Uppababy Vista as my primary full size stroller. I was hoping that it would be light enough for the baby to nap, but it was too heavy. I tried the gbpockit plus. The only thing I liked about this stroller was the price, other than that it was very flimsy and garbage. I only used it for one round trip because I was certain it would break. The baby jogger city tour 2 was discovered by me. It was a relief to finally find one that was functional and didn't look strange, and I am so happy that I did. I love that it has a one hand fold, I can open and close it while holding my baby. It has a good amount of storage space, a close full recline for naps, and foot rest, and it doesn't feel like my son will tip over in it. My son was comfortable in the stroller. It is easy to maneuver. It has a nice bag to hold it in. If you're a frequent traveler and want a nice carry on stroller, this is the stroller for you. It comes at a fraction of the cost of other options. I didn't try the mountain buggy because it felt cheap and reminded me of the GBpockit plus.
The handle is height-adjustable and easy to fold. The design has locking rear wheels. The child's tray accepts baby seats. Ally 35 infant car seat and base are included. There is a large storage basket. There is a large storage basket.
👤Before purchasing this travel system, I did a lot of research on different brands and their reviews. My first child was born 10 years ago, so there is a huge change in these products. A lot better! I am very disappointed in this product. It is not safe, convenient, and poor quality. There is a The hardest thing tofasten the buckle is my biggest complaint. The buckle is not pictured in any of the photos. My daughter screams the whole time because it is hard to get it in. The straps are not the same length. I re-thread it at least 3 times. The shoulder straps don't tighten all the way with the strap. When she was a newborn, this car seat was unsafe. The stroller is hard to fold up. I have never had a problem with the cheap travel systems from Graco. I will most likely purchase a new stroller and car seat very soon.
👤I was excited for the travel system but hated it. My baby couldn't stand being in it. It doesn't recline enough so her head hung dangerously when she fell asleep. It was so bad that I was afraid to take her anywhere I didn't have to and would sit in the back with her. She wouldn't have been supported if we'd been in an accident. Buckles are a pain to use, had to struggle to get it off the base, and the stroller leans to the sides. I'm always making sure to correct it. I bought it for the value but ended up changing to a Chicco because I don't have any of those issues anymore and feel safer.
👤Absolutely love this stroller set. It was easy to put together. I wanted a stroller that was comfortable for my baby to ride in and this stroller is just that. It has a nice color and print.
👤I've never written a review before but I feel like I've done it because my 4 month old daughter was in the car wreck and was in this car seat. I wouldn't have had my baby if it wasn't for this car seat, it's safe, thank you so much, the person driving the car crashed into a pole, my baby was the only person in the car, it's safe, thank you so much,
👤This travel system is wonderful. You can adjust the base of the car to make sure your baby isn't sitting with his/her head tilted forward. The back of the stroller can be tightened if you want to attach the car seat. The stroller can be folded up with standard storage space. I would recommend expecting people. Also! I got a great deal.
👤I bought this combo for my friend who has a premature baby. The baby has a feeding tube and oxygen and the storage underneath was able to hold all of her necessities. It is a nice product, despite the bad reviews. My friend has no problem with either the stroller or the car seat. This is her first girl after 2 boys and it is pretty and feminine. She and I looked for a couple of days for a car seat and stroller combo, and we came back to this one.
Air rubber tires with all-wheel suspension provide a comfortable stroll on any terrain. All within arm's reach are the handlebars and parking brake. You can modify your ride for 4 different modes of use with accessories like the infant car seat, pram, glider board, parent console, and child tray. The included infant car seat accessory is compatible with all Baby Jogger infant car seats. You and your baby will love the soft texture of the upgraded fabrics. You and your baby will love the soft texture of the upgraded fabrics.
👤We had two of the regular model city mini double strollers and we loved them. We fly a lot so our strollers have taken a beating and we wanted to upgrade to the new 2020 city mini gt2 double. Huge mistake. We love the older model but the upgrades are terrible. They are heavy. They are hard to push and add in 2 kids. They don't fold as flat as the old model. They are heavy and bulky when folded. It is impossible for me to deal with how heavy and bulky the gt2 is because we have 4 kids under 4. The new footrest is a nightmare for parents. I wish I could get rid of it, my kids will not leave it alone. The sun canopies are not good. The new magnetic peakaboo windows are a huge plus, but the canopies themselves feel flimsy, and that's a huge plus. The canopies come off the stroller frame in a new way. The suspension on the frame is terrible. It makes it nearly impossible to lift the stroller over the curb and it allows it to bottom out in the back. Our old city minis never tipped over backwards, but the new one does when the seats are fully reclined and my child is only 34 lbs, so not exceeding the weight limit either. The new fabric stinks. It stains easily and doesn't repel water. The old city minis were a slicker fabric that dried quickly. The seats were absolutely soaked for 24 hours after we got caught in a short rain at Disney. I wouldn't purchase this stroller again. One of the weeks we had them, we had a nightmare at the Disney world with bad strollers. I posted this review to Baby Joggers website and received an email stating that the review wouldn't be published. They only publish positive reviews.
👤I've reviewed 40 strollers for Amazon, but my favorite is the one we bought for our first child, the City Mini GT. The new version of the GT has all the great characteristics of the older version, plus a few improvements. This is a great stroller. Unlike other jogging strollers, it doesn't have big wheels. I've been using the GT's wheels for over four years and they've never had a problem, not even once. The GT2 has the same wheels as the earlier version. The GT2 folds in half and is very easy to carry in the trunk. The size is great, not too small, not so large, and you can't take it on a European trip and it won't fit through doorways or cobblestones. The GT2 is black and my older model is green. The GT2 has a slightly higher profile than the older model because the canopy is higher, but it's just as generous. The canopy has a small improvement in it's design, which is that they've switched from velcro to magnets for attaching the fabric to the windows. The older model's storage basket was a bit too low. There is a The handlebars have a slightly better grip in the GT2. The leg rest has been pushed up a bit so that it has a more comfortable angle, and it's also more padded.
Improved stability and safety can be achieved with enhanced quick release front wheel. Extra-large canopy with extended sun visor. The rubber handlebar is raised for better grip. The console has a cell phone positioner and deep cup holders. The large basket has rear access and holds the parent's essentials. The large basket has rear access and holds the parent's essentials.
👤This stroller has been unboxed, assembled, and wheeled around empty to see how it feels. Since baby #2, we have used a Bob revolution. When we needed a stroller one more time, we knew we wanted a jogger, so we looked into new and used Bob strollers. We decided to give this stroller a try, after many hours of research. The Bob seemed extravagant, for only one last baby, the price tag was a big part of that decision. While other stroller companies have been catching up, the Bob has not changed much. We are pleased with the purchase so far. The seat adjustment is quick and easy, which is better than our last Bob. When not in use, the wrist strap can be pinned out of the way. It is easy to unfold and folds, but it is not bigger than expected and the rear tires can be removed if needed. I love that the storage basket is larger and easier to access than the Bob Revolution. The child snack tray and car seat bar were purchased separately for the Bob. Since I have purchased a Baby Trend car seat, it will fit on this stroller just like it was made for them. They were! There is a parent tray with two cup holders and a phone tray, but it had to be purchased separately for the Bob. I am very pleased with the value of this purchase, and the quality is better than the last model we owned. When I ordered the final note, black and gray were both sold out, so I went with the pink/gray. The stroller is mostly dark gray and the pink is more of a dusty rose than a bright pink. I am quite pleased with the color combination. I was worried that the pink would be too bright, but it is a nice accent color.
👤The stroller is very easy to assemble. Less than 10 minutes. It seems to be easy to handle. The reason for the 2 stars is that it is advertised with an infant carseat. My one did not come with it. We don't have a baby trend carseat, so this is an issue. If the seller doesn't resolve it will be returned.
👤I couldn't find this anywhere else, so I put it together quickly. The brand at the other stores was not the same as the one at the body frame store. It turns great and glides easily. The pictures in the directions show that the straps that lay over the baby's chest are able to be moved to the correct size, however, on mine they are just sewn to the back Support and are unable to be adjusted. I don't know if that's something that comes on all jogging strollers, but the hard plastic ones would have been nicer.
👤So sad! This is a stroller. It has a cup and a phone. There are some things that make this product fail. My daughter slides down when she sits in the stroller because the seat is almost at a downward angle. The "crotch strap" is always digging into her. The strap cannot be adjusted. I've tried crotch padding, crotch pillows, and a towel. The strap digs into her because of the angle. It has caused some redness in the thigh area. I wish I'd known. I think this stroller had a lot of potential. I wish the product was made with more thought to how a child sits and how it would affect sensitive areas.
The most compact folding jogging stroller folds down to 70% of its original size. The travel system includes a rear-facing infant car seat. For more use, remove the stroller seat for a lightweight infant car seat carrier. The FastAction one-second, one-hand fold is the ultimate in convenience for parents on the go. Air-filled rubber tires provide a smooth ride. Air-filled rubber tires provide a smooth ride.
👤The front wheel is cheap and noisy, and it is unstable when locked. The noise when jogging is even louder. The canopy could be bigger to protect it from the sun.
👤The stroller is broken after 2 years of normal use. I can't push down on the handle to get the front wheel over the curb without the stroller collapsing. My daughter is 2 years old. We have a couple years left of stroller use. I am not happy with the quality of this for the price. This should last for many children. It didn't last through 1 I need a new stroller. Would not recommend it. The original 2019: Since baby isn't here yet, keep that in mind. Although we may use this occasionally as a jogger, my husband and I don't like running with a stroller. We need an offroading stroller that will fit our new snugride 35 car seat to take baby across soccer and baseball fields, because we have 2 older kids who are involved in sports. The stroller was easy to set up. I want to make it clear that you don't need to remove the seat in the stroller for the car seat to click in. After viewing the video and reading the manual. I thought it needed to be removed. I will never get back that hour of my life. I didn't deduct stars because a thorough reading would have clarified this point for me. The seat is not easy to remove. If you don't need to remove it, leave it. The stroller is moving well. I like the pouch attached to the handle bar to carry my things, instead of a plastic tray. My phone fits well. The front wheel is easy to lock. The back wheels are locked by the single brake. The basket is medium-sized. The seat has a good incline. My husband is 6'2” and I am 5'9′′. This stroller is tall enough for us. This thing is heavy. It's still pretty big when folded. We had an old jogger many years ago. This is not a good stroller for walking up a 3rd floor. If you have a small trunk. The way it stands when folded is by resting on the handle bar hinges. Which will eventually get pretty messed up. I'm okay with it. It folds and stands on its own. I wish the footrest was more prominent when a baby has longer legs. I deducted one star because of the leg-dangling issue in the photo from another reviewer. The previous jogger had the same issue. My kids didn't seem to mind, but it bothered my husband and me. The stroller is pretty nice, but it's not perfect. I will be happy with it if it works as designed for the next 3-4 years. If my rating goes from 4 to 5 stars, I'll revisit this post. I'm initially impressed.
👤A good stroller. I didn't use it for jogging. I wanted a stroller with big wheels that could handle the different terrain we live in. Not as much as you would expect in a jogging stroller. The sides don't do much, there is some "venting" on them. There is also a vent on the shade. The back of the stroller fabric has no mesh. I live in Alaska and the baby gets hot. It is easy to maneuver. If you want to jog with the front wheel locked, you have to make sure you hear a click. The basket is large enough to fit a diaper bag. The bag is the parent'stray. There is a flat mesh pocket that won't fit much, a zip up pouch for keys, and a soda can size water bottle. If you have a bigger phone, it is not a good idea to use an Iphone SE 2nd Gen. I think it would fall out if you put it in the pouch. The parent bag is not stable and is only attached at the top. The sun shade is not harmful. The extension is only 3-4 inches and doesn't do much for a short child or infant. I had the shade extended all the way and the car seat extended all the way when I put the infant carrier in the sun. It stays put even though the infant carrier clicks in. It was done well in the grass and gravel. In deeper snow, might need some elbow grease. There is a snack area with two cup holders. You can't use it with the infant carrier that was clicked in. It is easy to use. It's hard to get the brakes off of flipflops or sandals. I bought this because it said it folded smaller than other joggers, which is awkward for me to carry. I own a car that takes up a lot of real estate. The crotch buckle pad is useless. I don't know where it is. To assemble is simple. The handlebar is comfortable and easy to adjust because of the foot difference between my husband and I. The handlebar is made of foam. It is easy to fold and unfold. The wheels need to be filled with air. I have had this stroller for over six months and haven't had to refill it. The baby is comfortable and enjoys the ride.
This is the perfect everyday stroller for running, walking, and wandering around with your child. You can use your ride as a single or double with an infant car seat, pram, or glider board. You and your baby will love the soft texture of the upgraded fabrics. Baby Jogger's signature one-hand fold with auto-lock makes it easy to transport and store. The reclined seat and calf support give your child maximum comfort. The reclined seat and calf support give your child maximum comfort.
👤This is the third stroller that we have, it's kind of a size/weight option. The Vista was compatible with our infant seat. The Babyzen YoYo was purchased to satisfy the requirement because the Vista is not a travel stroller. The YoYo is a stroller that does not require carrying much with you. I was looking for a stroller that could be traveled with but which also held more gear than the YoYo, and that's what I found. We tried the CityMini 2 because it seemed to check the boxes here. The console is a pouch with two cup holders and a magnetic close compartment that sits behind the child. Would have liked to have an umbrella attachment, but it is not currently available. It's not that much better than our Vista in terms of ease of maneuvering, but you can one-hand it if you're cruising the mall, airport, or similar flat and smooth surfaces, but I don't find it that easy to do on more rough terrain. The three wheels versus four can be bad. They make it easy to push the stroller into a corner to consume less space, but that also means only one way back out, which can make for more difficult departures from elevators where not everyone is so understanding of the person trying to get the stroller out of the corner. It's more usable in form, but it's barely usable for large items because things go in and out via the small portal between the legs or the back. It's much easier to fold up than a stroller; just pull the handle. I wouldn't call this stroller easy to re-deploy from a folded position. It's not light weight, and half the time I try to unfold it, the fold clasp gets past one half of the frame rail before catching again on the second, requiring a now-awkward movement to release it again while still trying to hold it up with one hand. This is not just a stroller in the back of an SUV with a ton of suitcases, it's actually a stroller in the back with a reasonable diameter. Do you want to remove the wheels at the same time as you push the release to get them off? I'm confused as to why the wheels are so large, I would not feel comfortable running with this, and if not running with it, smaller wheels would likely have been fine. The fit, finish, build quality, materials, etc. are all top notch. If you want an easily folded stroller with good storage and accessories, I would recommend it. I know that both of those won't be for everyone, because of the cost and the size of the Vista. The Baby Jogger is a good one, it's not ideal for my use case, and I found the unfolding process and larger wheels frustrating at times.
👤We ordered it six months ahead of time because we wanted to make sure it was available for our baby. I wish I'd done my homework before purchasing this stroller, and before I left the return window. The pros are 1. It is so easy to break down. It was laughably easy. The whole thing collapses in on itself after you left it straight up. This is a really easy thing to break down and throw in the trunk if you need to. 2. It's pretty cheap for a stroller. Cons 1. There is no suspension for the wheels. The stroller shakes violently when every single bump is attached to the frame. The car seat attachment results in a lot of gnashing of teeth. We're not talking about curbs, we're talking about the gaps between concrete. Lifting the back of the stroller and using it as a wheelbarrow is better than anything else. There is no way to replace the hard rubber wheels. 2. Where are the accessories? The City Mini has no storage except for the bottom basket, so if you have a drink or a pacifier, you have to buy the Parent console. 3. It doesn't do very well on its own. I had to make sure it was leaning against the wall or it would fall over. If you have a car seat attachment, it sticks out at an odd angle as well as parallel to the floor. Since it's unstable, someone can brush by it and knock it over. If you are sure you want the Baby Jogger, I would recommend going with the GT2, which has inflatable wheels. My plan is to use it for things that will be flat, if I can't resell it. I'm going to have to buy a different stroller for walks around the neighborhood.
Air filled tires give a smooth ride over any terrain. The perfect fit for parents of all heights is created by theadjustable handlebar. There are 6 storage pockets and an extra large cargo basket that give you plenty of room for your gear. The child comfort seat is ultra-padded and has infinite recline, and sits upright for all day comfort. The travel system is ready. The BOB infant car seat adapter is compatible with most major brand car seats. The travel system is ready. The BOB infant car seat adapter is compatible with most major brand car seats.
👤Our BOB experiences have ranged from very early models via hand me downs to the 2012 BOB duallie, which I have fond memories of, but there is a bit of a gap between our first two kids and our most recent addition. I've been using a different model jogging stroller and I know that the BOB is winning hands down. We just updated our car to a third row mom-mobile and it's a pretty sweet ride. I'm more excited about the stroller than the car. I'm going to talk about the improvements to the BOB, but just know that my first two kids are 8 and 10. I'm comparing it to the BOB models I've used, as well as my most recent jogging stroller, since I'm not a fan of the word "jog" just me. Ok, then. Here we go. The stroller can sit all the way up. My 9 month old son loves it. When I parked them side by side, I could see the huge difference in seat angles because he was so far back in our old stroller. The seat adjustment is much easier on this model. You can get the angle you are looking for by squeezing the back piece and using the straps. The seat material should not be placed in front of the seat or near the top. I knew I had to have done something wrong when I saw my 9 month old had not much head room. The seatbelt is very easy to use. The seatbelt is a huge improvement over the other models I've used. There are two small pockets for snacks. Everyone loves pockets. When the canopy is fully down, I can take my son for longer runs because only tiny toes stick out. There is a clear vinyl window that you can see your little passenger in, and it has UP 50 fabric. Excellent for playing peekaboo. The handlebars is changeable! I'm late to the game because the handle is different, but I'm aware that the flex is the whole deal. 10. I adjusted it because I had to show everyone. I was amused, my daughters, my husband, myself. I have T-Rex proportioned arms. I'm happy that I can drop the grip when I run. My shoulders were not comfortable with a taller bar. There are pockets! I love pockets. I know I have. There are more pockets for me to love. There is a zip on the back of the canopy that fits my phone, if you are trying to guess sizes. There are pockets in the back of the basket. There is a zip pocket on the back as well. Would I add a new addition? Maybe? The pockets on the stroller may be enough to stock the child with snacks, toys, and diaper bags for a long trip, since I run with a hydration vest. If you prefer a bottle, you may want to get one. It is well equipped for the pocket situation. It is easy to steer. I didn't realize how heavy my older stroller was until I took BOB for a spin and realized how much easier it was on my shoulders. It felt light and I could use one hand to guide it. I had been avoiding taking the kid out on my runs because it was almost too much. I can't wait to hit the road with him. The rest of the information. The front wheel is a different color and you can't use a weird lever to pop it off, now you use an allen wrench to tighten it. The little pin in the front is the same as the one in the back. Final thoughts? Love it. It would definitely be recommended. Swipe right.
The motion base responds to forces. The rebound bar is integrated for added safety. Head impact protection is superior. The built-in rigid LATCH is easy to install. The stroller has 6 seating positions. The stroller has 6 seating positions.
The max height for a child is 42". A lightweight steel frame and 5-point harness make up the Stroller. The all terrain bicycle tires have a locking wheel for easy jogging or strolling. A newborn up to 30 pounds can be in the rear facing ez-Flex Lock 5 point harness car seat. The car seat is easy to install and has superior side impact protection. Large bicycle tires roll. locks for jogging and front wheel for easy maneuvering.
👤The stroller is easy to fold. You will need to put the wheels on. I read about the complaints. The problem was solved when I bought a janabebe head and body support. This will help your child be comfortable and get the support they need. I love the carseat and stroller for the price.
👤I used it a couple of times with my newborn, before it started wobbling violently and almost tipped over the carseat, before I had the baby in there. My husband tightened the front wheel nut and it was fixed temporarily, but it came back as I was crossing the street, which was very frightening. I can't return it because I bought it before my baby was born and the wobble didn't happen until I took him out in the stroller. I contacted BabyTrend and they told me that my husband had already done it twice. I'm not sure how long the replacement bearings and housing nut will fix the problem for. This "jogger" needs to be recalled. It's dangerous for babies. It's not safe to walk. The price was great for the stroller and infant carseat, but it's not worth it.
👤I started looking at baby gear that would help us stay active after I found out I was pregnant with my second child. The options for a jogging stroller travel system are limited, and most strollers these days are black or charcoal grey, who decides? I knew I didn't want a black stroller. I used bright colors for my strollers with my first child, including a vivid spring green and an eye-catching orange. I chose these because of their high-visibility. I wanted to know if cars could see me at night because I would be using them for a lot of walking and public transit. The strollers that were produced a few years ago are not being produced anymore. This set was the best compromise, other than some joggers and a couple that were way out of my price range. It's not bright colored. I'm not as reliant on public transit as I used to be. My vision is that when I'm using this stroller, I'll be able to go for a jog or go to the zoo away from traffic. The color choice is more of an aesthetic choice at this point. I chose the Optic Teal color over the other blue shade for a number of reasons. * It's in my top 5 favorite colors. So happy! I don't know the baby's gender because I'm early in my pregnancy. I think blue-green shades are more gender neutral. If you don't know the baby's gender or aren't interested in highly-gendered baby products, it's a good choice. I bought the color at an excellent price, otherwise I would have waited until I was closer to my due date. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the blue-green was the same as it appeared on my monitor, but the contrasting grey fabric parts were much more grey, and didn't appear as black as they did on my screen. The black parts are plastic and the rest of the dark color is charcoal grey. There aren't many colorful strollers on the market these days, even though some of us parents prefer a high-visibility stroller. The teal is neutral. It's not so dark as it seems, the grey is more charcoal in person, so it's functional. I want to address the car seat. The Babytrend ALLY 35 Infant Car Seat is included in the set. It's light at just about 6.6 lbs so my arms won't get tired when I have to carry it with a baby inside. The seat is basic and will do for a rear-facing seat until my baby is old enough to move to a convertible seat. It has a handle that will allow you to lift and carry them without having to wake them up. This was a lifesaver with my first child, who spent a lot of time in her car seat since it functioned well for other uses than just riding in the car. Her seat was also her away-from- home nap spot and she learned to kick her legs in the right rhythm to rock herself. I think I'll need to purchase an extra head-support cushion for the first few months, there's not much to keep their head in the same position. The cushion that comes with the seat is meant to be used for the first half of the baby's first year. It can be positioned higher with the straps or kept at the same height. Behind the cushion there are 4 levels of height adjustment which you can set for later growth. Also: The main cushion and headrest are clean. The seat is well-suited for the base and has a built-in level so you know your child is in the safest possible position. The "Rebound position" is said to further reduce injury in a collision by setting the handle to multiple positions. In summary: The person is lightweight at about 6.6 lbs. Although the base is easy to use, could use an extra headrest cushion, but has a handy built-in level and the handle can be set to the rebound position. My perspective on this might be different based on that. I felt the handle of the stroller stuck out far from where the baby was sitting. I thought that this would allow more range of motion for the person pushing. You can run without hitting it. It makes sense to me, as the stroller feels rugged and heavy, but perhaps it's just me. The stroller is almost 36 lbs. It's not super light, but it can be good or bad depending on your needs. I like the heft. I intend to use this thing until I can sell it to a boutique or resell it myself. I wanted a stroller that would last a while and be in good shape. This one is capable of the task. The frame is made of tubing that is heavier than the average person's body weight. The plastic pieces are thick and solid, so they don't give any impression that they might snap. The basket is small and I'll be able to fit a diaper bag, my purse, some of my older kid's toys and things in it. Even if I weren't carrying as much as I do, this has all the space I need. If I were still taking public transit to pick up boxes of diapers and wipes once a month, I would have no problem fitting the mega-sized box of diapers and a large mega-sized pack of wipes, but I might need to hang my diaper bag from the handle in that situation. The parent tray has a console panel that runs across the handles and is a nice upgrade over the 2 cup holders and covered center trap I'm used to. I could fit my phone, keys, wallet, and two drinks in the holders, as well as my center console. I like that it has a cover for the middle tray so that if I get caught in the rain, I can protect my phone and keys. The child tray has pros as well. The Tray is made of a plastic that is not harmful to the environment. Having a tray on the stroller for toys and snacks was essential for my last child. Sometimes I have to feed my child something at the same time as I leave the house. It got messy, but not as much as it could have been without the tray. She wasn't hungry and I was late. There are two cup holders in this tray. She would spend a lot of time putting toys in her cup holder and taking them out. She wouldn't have had to shove her drink next to her in the seat if she had two cup holders. I like the design of the tray. The cup holders sink down from the flat part of the tray to prevent a mess. The reason this is good is... Liquids flow down. They can be better managed if they flow down into the cup-holder reserve. Less mess! Applause! The travel system is intended to be used when the baby is big enough to use the tray. With the car seat! I decided to study the booklet to make sure I was using everything correctly, as I've never had a travel system before. I found that in order to fit the car seat in the stroller correctly, you have to follow a few precautions built in by the manufacturer. There are two knobs on the stroller frame that can be turned on and off. The car seat needs to be turned inward so that it can rest in the stroller. There is a strip of elastic at the left side of the stroller that must be connected to the car seat's seatbelt strap holder. See my pictures for more detail. I had to put air in the tires when I pushed the stroller. Pushing was no longer an issue once I did. If you're new to three-wheeled strollers, you'll need to get used to the increased maneuverability of a single wheel while walking, but you can also lock the front wheel to a forward position to reduce shaking and make it easier to turn. There is a wrist strap to keep the stroller from getting away from you while you run, and on top of the two foot brakes at either wheel. Kenda makes the tires on this. I'm familiar with the brand from my previous life as a bicycle commuter. Kenda makes decent tires and tubes for bicycles. I've bought their products many times but I always use a tube slime to make sure my tires don't go flat. I'll be doing the same with these wheels. Since last time, nobody wants to get ready for a walk, bike or run just to find their tire is leaking all the air. I don't think I'll like having a flat. I might invest in a backup stroller for this reason. The stroller folds down by pulling on the handles. There's nothing to hold your grip against while you pull the lever, so folding it was difficult. If you don't put your foot down on the bottom bar, you'll struggle with it. If you prop it up onto the handlebars, it will stand up on its own. I like this kind of function but I don't like it very much. I love that it's able to stand on its own, but I hate that it has to rest the handle on the dirty floor in order to do so. I think it is what it is. I couldn't dock a star for it because of the price. The textured rubber grip on the handlebars feels like it won't slip from my hands. The stroller is even more rugged thanks to this addition. The stroller is a little heavy but rugged and tough giving the impression that it will last a while. The parent tray console is convenient and the child tray is also. The stroller can be difficult to fold, but it stands upright when you fold it, unfortunately this places the handle on the floor. The tires are of a well-known brand although basic, and may go flat as they are air-filled, but they are not no-name at all. The basket is large and will fit a lot. The front wheel is locked. The brakes seem very good, the strap is a nice security function that all good joggers will have, and the handlebars are not slippery. The set was manufactured on 3/27/2018. It's recommended that baby gear be used no longer than 6 years past the date of manufacture, and this tells me that it's not old stock. Over al. I'm happy with this set. I want to use it. I'll keep you updated when I get a chance. I have high hopes for this set. My youngest is 6 months old and we've been having a great time with this stroller. We use it for our morning jogs to his sister's bus stop and enjoy it. There are a few things that bother me, but they are minor and for the price this set is still a good investment for us. We sold the car seat we received as a gift at around 2 months after we received it. The provided cushion insert didn't make him any bigger in the seat, and he was very small in the seat the first few weeks. I bought a softer, fluffier infant seat insert which made the fit better for him. I used the insert without a cushion because it was too hot for him to be comfortable in, even though he grew and the days got warmer here in Florida. I'm glad we got another seat that was permanently installed. Studies show that infants are at risk of suffocation when they sleep in infant carrier-style seats because of the angle of their head and the possibility that it will fall into their chest. They say that they are in danger because of the outside of the car. I say that. What is the difference? Outside of the car, the angle isn't much different. Not worth the risk. I was terrified for him to sleep in the seat, but I had to move him because newborns spend most of their time sleeping. It would have been the same as with the one we replaced it with, however, using the carrier to move him from the house to the car and vice versa would be preferable in hotter or much colder weather as it would keep the temperature of his seat more comfortable and consistent. The stroller has small annoyances. The seat back is not always even when the recline is adjusted. The baby will sit with his head at an angle against the stroller side because it will shift to the side. The strap covers at the shoulder do not stay in place, and the straps are rough when they rub on the baby's skin. The crotch strap is narrow and will turn into a wedgie in a short time. The bottom of the basket got folded in a way that made it warped before my son was born. It's a thin plastic, like a cutting board, and now it's permanently warped. It doesn't work anymore, but it shouldn't have been so easy for it to be folded up wrong. These minor annoyances are something I can deal with, but I have docked a star from my review. This set is still a good investment. I still use the stroller as our main stroller despite having a gb pockit stroller, because the car seat would be a good secondary or backup seat.
The lightweight car seat allows for easy travel with a quick and safe installation. The car seat can be used with or without the base, and can be attached to the stroller to create the perfect travel system. The shade canopy drape protects your child from the sun and wind. Babies are secured with aremovable infant insert that has fabrics that keep the baby cool. The car seat has an anti-rebound bar. The car seat has an anti-rebound bar.
